Nosworthy’s aka GR ;) is just a great local staple for food, drinks and conversation. Staff is always friendly and helpful, food is big portions and on point always. Fun to look at all the sports history on the walls. Just remember it’s cash only but there is an ATM. Probably saving a decent amount on those credit card fees lol. Definitely worth checking out.

You HAVE to check out Nosworthy's! This place is an absolute gem. The food was amazing, seriously some of the best I've had. And if you're up for a challenge, yes, they actually have a 10lb burger 🤘🤘! Just a heads-up, it's a cash-only establishment, but don't worry, there's a convenient ATM inside. The beer was nice and cold, and the staff was very friendly, making the whole experience even better. You'll definitely want to come hungry and thirsty because you certainly won't be either after you leave!

So happy I found this place. The service is very good, and the food is excellent. I normally don't get an omelette for breakfast but the specialty omelette here got my attention. I had the Belushi! It was wonderful. It comes with has browns that are shredded very thin and are very good. I'm a big guy and this was too much for me to eat. And the price is very reasonable

My family and I love eating at Nosworthy's. The staff have always given excellent customer service with their friendliness and hard work. The restaurant is inviting with character everywhere you look.. We always receive large portions and the burgers are by far the best in town. Thanks so much!!

Classic tavern vibe with a restaurant atmosphere. The tots are amazing, and the burgers too die for. If you're looking for a pickled egg and a beer... also perfect 👌. If you like beer, the most memorable thing will definitely be a scooner... or 2. Enjoy my friends! 🍻

Ahhh, I absolutely love this place. You can't go wrong. Great food, very filling and so many options. You can sit inside or outside. Lots of tables and lots of room. No credit cards allowed. There is an ATM inside the restaurant. Plan to come hungry. You can get so many options, there's something for everyone.

Our first time for dinner, we had heard about Saturday night prime rib dinner. There aren't enough words to describe the meal. First it's advertised as 16oz cut of prime rib.... I would guess it's more like 20oz, it is accompanied by 3 cheese & garlic mashed potatoes, steamed veggies , grilled bread and usual horseradish & au jus . The meat is seasoned perfectly and so tender if you look at it it falls apart. No kidding !! Make sure you go hungry. We have been there for lunch too, great sandwiches and burgers. Open for breakfast also.

I do want to say this was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a very long time. But this place is not a place for out of towners. I felt very very very uncomfortable. This place does not take credit cards. I haven’t heard of such a thing since the 1990s. If you want a good burger and you’re from the area I highly recommend it if you’re not from the area you might wanna look at a different restaurant. I had the Hollys burger and it was delicious. Fun fact because they don’t allow credit cards I had to get in line for the ATM in the gentleman in front of me Who pulled money out of his savings had $268,000 in his savings. Wow.

Holy smokes was this the best burger I have had in a long time. It was 50% beef and 50% chorizo. Delicious! They are real fries too. Not the crap you get from fast food joints. This is truly a secret. Other notables: The service was great. The atmosphere is like being in an old lodge. The restrooms are clean and have hot water. Ha! Thats always a plus for any restaurant, in my opinion.

Great lunch/breakfast (wife had the sandwich, I had the omelette)! We don't come here often enough. Always tasty and filling. The staff are happy and efficient. And for a "sports bar" it's really quite comfy.

There was only 1 server & she was so great, super service & very personable! We shared this sammy & it was well worth it. Generous meat portion in the sandwich! Yum! This sports bar has all kinds of memorabilia from Idaho & you might see one or two elk or moose! Ps- almost forgot - the sandwich was so hot that my glasses fogged up, who doesn't want a nice hot sandwich!!!

I dont know how anyone rates this place anything but 5 stars! Awesome food everytime for the past 20 years.

Need to shut the place down for a week and clean the hell out of it. And clean up the cooks. Food was OK.

The servers were very nice and attentive. The food, however, was less than mediocre. Hamburger had a very dry bun. Potato salad tasted like it was straight from a prepackaged Walmart tub. The prime rib was mostly fat and gristle. And to top it off, we got to listen to the drunken antics of a woman at the next table who was with the owner's son.

Friday night Prime rib. Fantastic!!! Next trip to cDL we will be back. Big thank you to John and Terri for taking us there.

Pretty cool place nice staff food was good. Other customers were interesting and friendly. Nice sports memorabilia from the local town.

We went there one Morning for Breakfast and took my father and he ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and the Gravy was very bland. I ordered the 2 Egg Breakfast and when she brought it to the table the plate was so small I told her I didn't order the Childs Plate. It was very disappointing

Good food and great service. Cash only so be prepared. They are a big supporter of local sports teams, so lots of memorabily in the walls. Both my wife and my burgers were very good. Im certain we will go again next time we are in CDA.

Love the atmosphere and the feeling of being in a tavern. The food is amazing and you find yourself devouring it. Our family has enjoyed dinner here many times and we'll return for more.

This review is for visiting at least a twenty times from 2021-2023. We no longer will dine here. This was our main burger spot. The best parts; Parking easy. Cool interior I like the only cash transaction because it helps profit for a restaurant. Nice spot to watch Sunday football. Only downside was being ignored by customers once they find out you moved here. Salads are great. Good choices on beer. Great customer service. You can also view from the bar how hard the cooks work. I've given a cash tip twice to their bar back and a cook. So, the downside. Past two visits to get burgers to go, wife still works so I do the errands....both were wrong burgers completely. Long drive. Now the worst experience which prompted us to slow our visits. Father's Day 2022. We were served our food one hour and fifteen minutes AFTER ordering. I watched people come in and receive their food at the bar before us. They came in about thirty minutes after us. I also recognized a couple come in who are regulars. They are about our age. They received they came in long time after us, and got served at least fifteen minutes before us. There were two families with kids...same thing. So, I was disappointed and stepped outside to cool off. I felt wow....I get it. Anyhow my Luke warm over cooked burger was delivered. One time I came in with a buddy who we worked together in government for decades. We were spoken to in a certain way until I said I live here. Then it was nicer. My buddy said, "wow." He then mentioned it's common in this area. He's a pretty down to earth guy. Well, as far as football watching,....we bounced some where else. Our experiences at your spot prompted us to find other burger places. The restaurant service in this area, plus the general attitude has now prompted us to relocate to another area in Idaho 2024. At my age.....I only want a small amount of respect, minimal customer service, decent price and food that is at least equal or better than what I can create. I'm a very good cook. Customers speak with their wallets.

Been on the search for the best burger in town. Multiple people said this place is a must. We arrived on a Friday evening with plenty of spaces to sit. The atmosphere is super cool. Sports memorabilia everything. Old cabiny feeling. The lighting was absolutely terrible though. It's dark and there are no overhead lights. There was a light acrossed the room that attempted to light up the restaurant. It reminded me of being a kid playing outside and the street lights would come on. Enough light to make sure we could move around and see but, definitely no enough light to do anything else, especially eat. My picture makes it look brighter than it actually was. My camera captured more of the light because it automatically switched to night mode when I took the picture. It was that dark. We paid almost $20 per burger (it's the larger burger option). I thought they did a good job with the big patty and fresh fixns. The bread was just what ever cheap bun that they get a good deal on. Kinda stale and dry. They did a great job with the inside of the burger... if they can add a decent quality bun, I would say it would be one of the better burgers I've tried in town. The french fries (comes with the burger) was a healthy amount and were very good. They make them fresh in the restaurant. After adding my own salt it was very tasty. The chili was pretty tasty. Hardy. Chunks of meat and and chunks of jalapeños. If you like Spicey. You'll enjoy this. Came with a side of Carlin bread which was also very tasty and enjoyable. The kids corn dog was as a flop. Greasy breading. My kid hardly touched it. The onion rings were extremely greasy. Every bite, turned into a mushy soggy mouthful. The service was non existent. After taking our orders and delivering our food, the lady never came back. There was hardly anybody else in the restaurant too, so it was frustrating having to get up and ask for things only to see her leaning against the bar watching tv. Then when we would ask. She would forget half the stuff and would have to wait again. Never had our drinks filled once. Positives - cool atmosphere and literally just missing the mark to a great burger. French fries. Negatives- terrible service, no light to see your food, very expensive, food needs some modifications to be a great place. I spent about $90 from what you see in the pictures (and tip )

Tried this place out for the 1st time. Can we say alcoholics, come eat and drink here? Yep. Got damn. Huge glasses of beer and people sloshed. Food is good and out pretty quickly after ordering. Waitress was friendly and responsive. Small girl cleaning the tables was a little brat. We almost left because of her little BS attitude. If service would've sucked we never come back. But Waitress was good and food good. I'll come back again. Too many got damn old people come to this place. Time to stay home grammy! Place is tiny. CASH ONLY fyi. If you don't like alcoholics, stay away from this got damb place.

Kinda bumped into this place when I was doing errands. The inside is very unique and appears to pay tribute to local high school and college. Also had a beer and wine bar. The service was great . The waitress handled a full house really well. The burger was average. Hearty bacon. Good beef flavor. The tomato looked like it had been cooked under a heat lamp. The fries were disappointing. Undercooked, limp, and lacking flavor. Friend had a club sandwich. It was reported as "good" but the turkey used was really salty. Also another thumbs down for the fries. The best part was the red beer. Beer makes me happy and this made me really happy. Other reviews have mentioned cash or ATM issue. Got charged 2.75 to use ATM as well as some random additional charge of 75 cents. Not cool and must be factored into the total cost for the mediocre food.

First visit was great the burger was fabulous, second visit it was no where near as good. The cash only policy is a bit of a pain in the arse!

Really like to come here for the burgers. Love the burger sauce. Also love the potato salad. My husband is a fan of the fries. Quick service, and laid back atmosphere.

Here's a nice long time establishment that I feel gets overlooked due to its slightly obscure location. If you are looking for a place that serves a really great burger in a down-to-earth friendly relaxing environment with a homey feel and dim comfort lighting, you've found it! (Outside patio seating available too.) I've been here a couple other times years ago and I don't honestly know why I don't make this a regular stop when I come to town. Their prices are very fair, the portions huge (they don't charge more for split plate), and the food is great. They offer homemade potato salad in lieu of fries if you are avoiding fried...although with hand cut skin-on fries I don't know why you would. Their burgers are half pound (unless you ask for quarter) and cooked to juicy perfection. Do NOT skip the bacon as it's super flavorful and crispy! The tomatoes are sliced thin enough to not be a slidy messy bother, huge side salads, and don't forget the scooner of beer to wash it all down. (Yes, it makes the big burger look like it's dwarfed, don't be fooled!) I will need to return for prime rib night which is refreshingly on a Saturday night instead of the typical Friday that many other places offer. Please remember to tip your wait staff well folks! Idaho is a "right-to-work" state which means most don't even earn $5 an hour. Tip them cash! Speaking of which, they are only accepting cash as method of payment right now anyhow so plan ahead. This place is definitely one to not be missed and I will definitely be returning!

We went to this place based on a recommendation. Good call! Talk about some great food! The morning we went, it was pretty smokey outside. We just wanted to get in and not be stuck outside waiting too long. We timed it just right. We were seated quickly and were taken care of by our waitress. They were a little short handed on the waitstaff. Could have used one more person on that. But, they were hustling to keep everything covered. Now for the food, it was fantastic! Talk about good flavors! I know I enjoyed it, my wife enjoyed it and, my Father in law enjoyed it. The prices were very reasonable too with good sized portions to enjoy. I definitely did not leave there hungry. I also like the environment inside. It felt very cozy, friendly and, inviting. It definitely made me want to go back again the next time I am in town.

Family owned and the food is off the hook, service is amazing and it's just a feel good place. Enjoy and come hungry.

It's nice to sit down in a comfortable spot and get a good meal. The Bartender/Waitress acknowledged me as soon as I walked in. She was very prompt in bringing me clean utensils and a clean menu. When I asked about beers on tap, she went through all of them. There was one I had never heard of and she brought me a taste- Mac and Jack, which I promptly ordered. I also order the Conan Burger with Fries. The burger was flavorful and filling. The Horseradish Mayo should be offers as a dip for French fries - it is that delicious. They do offer a ranch and French Fry sauce- and both bare tasty. The fries are fresh potatoes with the skins one. Not too thick or thin. And the service was outstanding. Can't wait to come back- even though I am stuffed.i

I have heard of this place but never had a chance to visit knowing they serve great burgers I want something different so I decided on the Saturday special Prime Rib! Knowing that the Prime rib is already cooked I don't understand the long wait time, drank one beer while waiting and another one during dinner, Prime rib was so-so, no so flavorful, overpriced beers, food, drink, tip cost me over $60.00 you ever get that feeling when you leave a place that you just been had! Lol

We ate there tonight and it was excellent. Hamburgers are to die for real bacon and the works. My wife had a huge hog heaven tons on ham and real cheese. Everything came with hot fresh fries. We ate outside and the service was also great. Excellent choice.

When I made my review there were 2 yelp pages for this establishment and one was incorrect. It seems the pages have merged since my review years ago and my one star rating (of wrong page) was used as opposed the my 4star. So here we are Algorithms

First time here. We will be back. I don't understand the low ratings because they don't accept credit cards. Good for them to not be beholding to the CC industry. The food an service was outstanding an reasonably price for the large portions

Known for burgers. Did not disappoint. Excellent fresh and properly cooked ingredients. Service was good. It's a bar but has a good local support for sports for local teams.

I remember coming here back when I was a wee lad, and eating a cheeseburger bigger than my head. Ah, those were the days, when I had a full head of hair and a metabolism that could consume that much burger... But I digress. The name has changed since then, due to a mash-up with a national chain that threw a snit fit about the name, but new name doesn't matter. HALF-POUND BURGERS WITH BACON AND HAM AND PICKLES AND BIG HEAPING PILES OF FRIES AND MORE FOOD THAN TWO PEOPLE CAN EAT AND JOYOUSNESS! I'm so glad this place is still here. And I'll be back yet again. Heck, I brought my wife, and she enjoyed it too. Now if you'll pardon me, I have to go work out in preparation for my next visit.

The fries were cooked until they were so dry, they fractured/cracked when I bit them.

I LOVE this place!! One of the very best burger selections in town! Fresh cut fries and a schooner of beer to top it off. ...and if you haven't had one of their omelettes, you're flat out missing out!!

Have eaten there several more times It's improved greatly Service isn't the friendliest but they were present and moving quickly will fairly large crowd My breakfast was excellent. Saw slot of large draft beers being served at bfast time.. well... Yes plz I believe I'll try one. Food was good Price seemed right CASH ONLY be aware of that.. good meal could go sideways if u miss the 1 sign on the wall... Outdoor seating is ok... Busy road but it beat sitting inside on this current visit

This is the best burger I have had in Coeur d'Alene. Good size, full of goodness, and they love making burgers to order.

The waitress was the only good experience I had for my first time ever eating here so that why there's 2 stars. My food had a hair cooked into it, which the waitress watched me pull out of my food and the fries were cold and didn't taste fresh at all. Also started feeling sick after I ate there and I got food poisoning. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Great breakfast! More than we could eat, and crispy hash browns without asking for them!!!!

I've been coming here once or twice a week for a burger or omelette since I moved into the area. They have amazing staff, they treat you like family once they get to know you. They take the time to learn your name, what you drink and really take care of you. Even the cooks are friendly and come out to say hello from time to time. Burgers are great, and they hand cut their own fries, not frozen ones which is awesome. Omelets might be my favorite, they're big with 3 eggs and loaded. Beer is served cold in a frosty schooner which reminds me of home where I'm from in Long Beach. I've been really impressed with this place so far, not just the food but the overall experience and the way the staff treats it's customers, that's what keeps me coming back. This truly is a place "where everybody knows your name"...

For the last several years my family members and I originally enjoyed going to Nosworthys for a beer and food and to have a relaxing time but the service lately and the libtards serving have ruined a once great establishment. In the not do distant past they were excellent but recently they are the worst. I and my family members will never frequent this place again and I will do everything in my power to make sure all of my friends, family and business companions will spread the word on how bad the two servers we encountered treat their customers. Get rid of servers that have no people skills and send them back where they came from. Other customers were also enraged about the way they treat regular customers!!! I can't give a low enough rating on the service.

Pretty good Burger made with fresh ingredients. I made the mistake of ordering the half pound Burger I say it was a mistake because it was much larger than other half pound burgers I have seen In other pubs and grills. Unless you are really hungry I would recommend the quarter pound Burger. They give you a generous helping of freshly cut French fries not the icky frozen ones like you get at many places . You also have The Choice of Cole slaw and potato salad I have had the potato salad in the past and it's pretty good also a. I had a waitress named Linda and she was very friendly intended to my every need This place can get pretty busy during the lunch hour and because of their cold beer in 32 ounce schooners they get rather busy right after work

Great burgers and fries all from scratch. No restaurant supply chain burgers here. Breakfasts are very good 95% of the time. Rarely cold. Even for early morning breakfasts a schooner of beer is commonplace. Lots of food for the very hungry.

I don't know what yuppies left poor reviews on this place, but, clearly they're vegans. The burgers were just amazing! Definitely haven't had anything even half as good back home. I'm a small girl, but, I'd have had 3 more if I had the room. Nice people too!

Walked in noticed a sign that said cash only, but they have an atm inside. For that reason we turned around and walked out.

The Hosford is my burger of choice. Stuffed with cream cheese and with sweet hot mustard and all the Fixin's. Not as much cream cheese as I like and since the 2 quarter lb burgers were rather thin and fit in my mouth well, I am kinda wondering if the cream cheese came out during cooking. I would totally suggest getting the Onion Rings as the fries are a bit greasy. Tables were dirty and no tp in the ladies room. My bigger ran about $11. Not my best visit

Nosworthys is a little restaurant with rustic decor and a tasty selection of burgers and sandwiches for lunch. They also have beer on tap though it's not a big selection, but they had a few of our favorites. Three of us had burgers and one had the tuna sandwich (the second time she's had it and she said it's excellent). Fries and onion rings for sides and both are very good. My husband (the hamburger connoisseur) said his was one of the best burgers he's had. I should add that we ended up at Nosworthys because none of us wanted to wear masks so we were hoping to sit outside and they had ample room to be outdoors on a beautiful sunny day. We had tried Moon Time at first but the two outdoor tables they had were occupied.

Always a great burger, breakfast and beer. What's bad about a 32 ounce schooner?! Sometimes the service is slow but not tonight. Great!! CDA locals' favorite! YUM!

Burger was great! Fries were terrible. They were rubbery and unseasoned. Service was terrible. Once we got our food, our waitress never came back to check on us or refill our drinks. We waited over 10 minutes for our to go box, and then another 15 minutes to get our change back when we paid.

Outrageously wonderful prime rib on a Saturday night ! Service great . Don't miss this place
