"Frozen custard — the rich, dense cousin of ice cream — is another decadent Midwestern delight that’s especially delicious in the summer. Not Licked Yet has served regulars and new patrons for nearly four decades and still draws long lines for its popular sundaes and scoops of chocolate, vanilla, and butter pecan. The kitschy log cabin-style spot also has a kid-friendly patio filled with flowers and decorative gnomes." - Naomi Waxman

Google
43 years in business, try it and you’ll see why. I love the menu and style of window ordering, there’s so many amazing options for homemade sundaes or a slice of cherry pie with vanilla custard al a mode. I tried the Door County sundae, very rich and delicious. I would try the turtle one next or the butter pecan. Everything looks so good. Tons of kids and families playing by the colorful playground off the seating area. Super cute atmosphere and lights.

Google
Disappointing. We used to like this place but our door County cherry Sunday came with a black hair in it for $10. They remade it, but no apologies, and then the second one lacked toppings there are many better ice cream and custard places. go to those. It is licked.

Google
What a wonderful experience. We looking forward to a nice treat after dinner and Not Licked Yet was just a few minutes away. When we turned into the lot and drove down the hill we were immediately transported to what felt like a hidden gem. After exiting our vehicle we could hear running water. The creek behind the parking lot was so tranquil. The whole experience was amazing. Very memorable. Lots of seating. Amazing staff. What an experience.

James Charmelo

Google
Delicious frozen custard and so many choices of sundaes!

Google
Wonderful frozen custard. Great parking. Playground for the littles. Creek running along the property. Delicious Non dairy options for those who can't partake in the frozen custard. Fun menu. Highly recommend.

Andrew Kull

Google
Really good custard. Lots of places to sit. Within walking distances of other good places to eat. So save room and walk here. So second day in a row we're eating here. Cherry pie with vanilla was awesome. Pudgey bunny was delicious.

Sarah Russart

Google
One of the best cherry pies I've ever had and the homemade whipped cream was AMAZING!! Very generous pieces. Frozen custard was also amazing. The day was a bit overcast and spotty rain when we got there but the outdoor heaters gave us comfort. Very polite staff.

Google
Expensive but super great ice cream! Fun playground for kids and you can ask for "bird food" for $1 (popcorn) to feed the geese & ducks at the place. I recommend the caramel Sundae (first option on the menu)

Wendy L.

Yelp
Delicious frozen custard and very fast service! We tried the vanilla, chocolate and butter pecan. They stack each scoop one on top of the other in a clear plastic cup. The hot sun does melt the custard quickly and all the flavors soon blend into each other. I personally was not a fan of this since I prefer to taste each distinct flavor. One of my favorite parts about the whole experience was going down to the creek to enjoy the custard. There are lots of chairs and tables by the water and you get a perfect view of the creek with ducks happily swimming in it. It's also a great spot to catch some breeze.

Laura S.

Yelp
A must stop icecream spot when drive through or staying in fish creek! I am obsessed with the door county sundae! The longs are usually long in the evening. Kids can enjoy the playground while adults sit by the pond.

Logan M.

Yelp
Accommodating those with vegan diets! Back when I was vegan, I loved their Screaming Bananas with speinkles

Sydney S.

Yelp
Custard is delicious but they are not consistent with their posted hours. We've tried to visit multiple times within their stated hours (today 2 hours before they were supposed to close) & nobody was there. Frustrating when you make the trip all the way there to just have to turn back & go all the way back to our rental home.

Mollie Y.

Yelp
Delicious. Large portions. Definitely shareable. Great location. Lots of outdoor seating.

Megan L.

Yelp
This place was good. I wouldn't say it's anything special. I ordered the cherry vanilla custard, which was a special flavor; it basically was vanilla custard mixed with cherry pie filling. Good, but I wouldn't get it again. I also had the butter pecan, which was yummy too. Honestly, unless it's summer and I'm in door County, I doubt I'll be back. It was fine to visit while I was there but I found it underwhelming. The views are great though! The patio area is a nice place to relax and eat your ice cream.

Howard L.

Yelp
We just wanted a little dessert after dinner at White Gull Inn and dropped in here as it was the closest. It's popular and busy, as is any ice cream, gelato, or custard shop in Door County after dinner time. For a small cup of custard, it was $4.50 which is pricey and there was nothing particularly special about it. I had a chocolate and wife had a vanilla. It might be a better value to get a fancy sundae or such from here, but not plain jane stuff. It's easier and less stressful street parking at street level, whereas if you pull into their unusual subterranean lot, you may encounter a lot of customer foot traffic.

Linda B.

Yelp
Delicious custard with lots of options. This shortcake sundae was enough to share with 2 others. On the pricey side but Door County tourism so now we know. The lines are long so plan to spend a few extra minutes.

Sophia F.

Yelp
Amazing ice cream and fast service! We had a strawberry banana split Sunday and root beer float, both were fantastic!

Phil D.

Yelp
Workers are rude. Making fun of people because of how someone sounds. Do you make fun of people for how they look or how big they are? People need to grow up. Maybe upgrade workers to make people feel welcoming.

Kian R.

Yelp
We were looking for a spot to get some treats on a hot day exploring the local area. Someone in our group found this and said it was rated really well, so we went. The menu is really big, they have a lot, and make most of it themselves. They have everything from shakes to sundaes to popsicles, and even some food. It's quite impressive. We ordered some items to share, the chunky monkey sundae, a rhubarb shake, the "screaming banana" (custard made from frozen pineapple) and a root beer. All were actually very good, but again pretty average for ice cream. And the prices were awful. It was like $10 for a relatively small sundae. I'd say it's a good stop if your in the area, but the prices were way too high. I think I would try somewhere else before coming back, but ultimately it was pretty good.

Sandy N.

Yelp
I was camping in Peninsula State Park and Not Licked Yet is the first thing we saw coming in and out of the park. So we had to try it! There was a 10 person line but the line went quickly. I ended ordering the Shortcake Crumble Sundae. This was a perfect size for 2 and had PLENTY of shortcake pieces. It was a well balance sundae with a little crunch, a sweet compote, and very creamy custard. I definitely recommend this sundae if you are a fan of strawberries! I'll be back try to another sundae and a bite to eat as the menu was extensive. A must stop in Door County!

Edwin G.

Yelp
Very solid spot! Service was quick and super friendly, felt very welcomed and not rushed at all. The custard was really flavorful and not overly sweet. Moreover, it's close to this really cute pond that's full of ducks and wildlife, really nice scenery.

Daisy L.

Yelp
Very cute little spot tucked away in downtown Egg Harbor. Great seating options and playground for kids to play while adults wait in line (that moves really fast). The portion sizes are pretty large and most sundaes are "sharable". We really enjoyed our visit, but would love to see some smaller portion size options to be more budget friendly and for the kids. We ended up not ordering anything because we shared with the grandkids knowing they wouldn't finish. And please consider a better quality napkin. We used dozens to clean up the kids because they just disintegrated. Overall good experience and we plan to make a few more visits this year.

Genevieve K.

Yelp
We had driven by Not Licked Yet Frozen Custard on our way into town and made a point to stop back for a treat after we were done shopping. We wanted to stay socially distanced and they had plenty of options for seating in a few different areas. There were regular food options, but we really just stopped by for custard. They offer chocolate, vanilla, butter pecan, and then a daily flavor which was mint Oreo today. They also have a long list of specialty sundaes. They had x's painted on the parking lot to promote social distancing and all of the employees were wearing masks. All 7 of us ordered a variety of flavors and sundaes and we were all very pleased with our choices. They definitely have something for everyone! Some of the sundaes are even decorated in fun ways (see picture). We were very impressed by the timeliness, social distancing protocols, and flavors of the custard. We would definitely recommend to those making the trip to Door County!

Michelle C.

Yelp
We visited for the weekend and our last stop was here. They got 2 of 3 items in the order incorrect. The "Pudgy Bunny" was suppose to come with Oreo's and it didn't and then my husband drank his coffee and it was wrong! He ordered vanilla ice coffee and it was just iced coffee. We went back up to the counter to ask for a new coffee and informed them of the incorrect ice cream order and the girl at the counter was very rude. She was unwilling to replace the item and I just asked for the ingredient we were missing with a scoop of ice cream and she asked the manager and they said no. The manager wouldn't even speak to me, he hid in the corner. Horrible customer service for an order that was clearly wrong.

Lexi C.

Yelp
The custard is GOOOOD!!! I don't think you can go wrong with anything they offer. There's always a long line there because the ice cream is good and because you wait at the same window to get your order. The fact that there's parking and a nice area with tables where you can seat and enjoy the ice cream is a plus.

Tristan N.

Yelp
They don't put it on the menu or anywhere that would make sense but their kitchen closes at 7 pm. Don't stand in line for 30 minutes just to find that out! They do however serve ice cream way passed that time. On their website it lists hours as 11:30 am to close, "close" I guess is up to their discretion as last time I checked it's not on the standard clock. It would take ten seconds to put that info anywhere on the internet and save people the trouble of waiting in line for all that time (30 minutes on a good day) just to find that out at the window.

Tom T.

Yelp
Very poor experience. Owners are rude and don't care for customers. Waited in line for 25 minutes to be served and by the time we got our food it was closing time. Instead of being reasonable and allowing us to finish they turned the lights out at 930 and told us to leave. Attempted to have conversations with them but they blocked me from fb and messenger hoping I'd just go away. Would not recommend.

Sean W.

Yelp
PSA When ordering, make sure you get the right ingredients. We did not realize than an ingredient was missing until it was already melted and the customer service was very rude and they were unwilling to rectify.

Connie D.

Yelp
This is a super cute ice cream spot by the water and right down the street from Peninsula State Park. This was the perfect treat after a hike! They have a variety of unique custard creations, and you can make your own too! There is plenty of outdoor seating, but it can get busy during peak times. Luckily, when we visited, we were one of the the only parties there, so it calm and intimate. We ordered Do You Want To Build A Snowman, Door County and Yankee Snickerdoodle-Doo sundaes. The portions are fairly large, and definitely split-able.

Raj D.

Yelp
This is a must if you are exploring door county. The lines are literally almost to the road because their desserts are just that tasty. We went on our first day and we liked it so much that we adjusted our schedule so that we could go again. I would have to say that this place had potentially the best ice cream/frozen custard I've ever had. I really really loved their brownie sundae

Javi S.

Yelp
"HOLUP...YALL TASTING THIS...?!" GET THE PECAN KIND! So so sooooo good! Rich custard but not overly syrupy, so refreshing (of course), & always a solid portion. A must if you're in DC!

Mark W.

Yelp
We normally go there at least once every time we visit Door County. We love the Door County Sundae. There is usually a line at the order window and they only have outdoor seating. The line moves quickly and the staff is friendly. It is a good place for families, big playground, and they have a gnomish theme to the area- they definitely like Swedes :) This visit we were a slightly disappointed in that there did not seem to be as many pecans and cherries on the sundae as usual. We usually share the sundae and my wife only remembered eating one pecan and a few cherries. Maybe I was just too good and grabbing them:) What can I say- on a hot day- sharing a delicious sundae with custard ice cream, hot fudge, nuts and cherries? It tasted great to me:) Anyway- for this trip I just gave them 4 stars. By the way- we have never eaten a meal there but they do serve pies and hot or cold sandwiches which, I have heard, are also great.

Emma F.

Yelp
The best butter pecan in the world, no joke! Have been coming here for years just for the butter pecan frozen custard. This year i tried the Door County Sundae which was veer good as well! Cute little area as well for kids, and adults. They are located on a creek, and have heaters for the chilly nights. A must stop for ice cream in DoCo!

Christina S.

Yelp
Such a fun little vacation spot! It's a great place to take kids and enjoy some custard! Staff are really friendly and so much to do! You can feed the ducks. Play on the playground. Sit and enjoy your custard. They have it all. Huge turtle sundae and so many pecans! Loved it. The chunky monkey is always playful and delicious! Great spot for families.

Janice W.

Yelp
We stopped here on our last night in Door County. The custard was fine - only a few flavors to choose from. Pricier than Wilson's Ice cream in Ephraim and smaller portions. They do have nice areas to sit to enjoy your custard.

Raquel R.

Yelp
Staff is unfamiliar with the menu. 1 star deducted for each item in our order that was prepared incorrectly. They were also unwilling to fix their own mistakes and prepare us the items correctly or even give us the missing ingredients. The ambience is cute with plenty of outdoor seating backing up to a stream and with a playground set for little ones.

Jason P.

Yelp
Outstanding frozen custard and choices, there is something for everyone-even my pickiest of kids. Their strawberry shortcake sundae is absolutely amazing! They have a great outdoor area with 2 large rainbow playsets to keep the kids busy.

G N.

Yelp
We stopped at 8:40 PM this evening. We got out of our car and someone yelled 'we're closed'. I had previously checked their website which noted they were open until 9 everyday thru October. We showed the older gentleman who'd hollered to us that they were closed and showed him the website info. He said "not that's not right, you must have a Chinese phone"....,really???? We used to like this place, but not so much when you've been belittled!

Amy Y.

Yelp
Good ice cream offerings but while some of the people who work there are nice there are others with a real attitude. Know beforehand you have to eat your ice cream there as to-go options (like lids) are not readily available. My son asked for a takeout box and a very rude woman yelled to the others this is the last box we are giving out so we don't waste any more and slammed the window on him. Seriously?! Just be kind.

Brent M.

Yelp
What a great update to the outdoor area! The custard was excellent. The outdoor area is very accommodating to a crowd now.

Rachel K.

Yelp
This is a great place to try frozen custard for the first time or just enjoy a cold treat outside on their patio while watching people feed ducks or canoe. You may need to park on the street since there is limited parking.

Amanda D.

Yelp
This was a great find! I had the salted chocolate swirl ice cream with door county cherries. I typically don't like cherries but this was different! The custard was so creamy and rich, yet not too sweet. I definitely recommend this whole in the wall find!

Kristen C.

Yelp
Nice view, lots of menu options, and the kids enjoyed feeding the ducks - but the frozen custard left a lot to be desired. It was icey and didn't have great flavor. With all of the great ice cream shops in the area, you could find many better places for a cool treat. Wouldn't go here again.

Claire O.

Yelp
Probably my favorite place to get custard in Door County!! Butter pecan is amazing! I was really impressed to see the smashing banana. It's basically frozen bananas turned into soft serve. Perfect for those non-dairy folks, or in my case a friend with a severe cold choosing to avoid dairy. This is also a great place to take kids. Outdoor seating, playground, and some of the CUTEST ducks over by the river that runs alongside the shop. I think you can even buy bags of breadcrumbs if you want to feed the ducks

Madison R.

Yelp
This is the BEST custard I've ever had. The cherry pie and cookies are also TO DIE FOR. One of the employees was incredibly kind and brought us some free cookies because we were raving about them. This is a MUST for Fish Creek.

Lora L.

Yelp
Wonderful lil place that's very busy late night for frozen custard seekers. I ordered the chunky monkey because I love peanut butter. Two bites and the peanut butter was gone. Boooo.

Corliss H.

Yelp
Good if you like soft ice cream (which I do but the rest of the family prefers hard ice cream) The location is fun, lots for small kids to do. Absolutely worth the visit when you're in Fish Creek!

Ruann L.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Lots of outdoor seating. Gaslights to warm up the area if the air is chilly.Kids play area to keep them busy after they slurp down the custard. Only four flavors but with the trip. When he built this they told him it would never work. It's still here after all these years...and the people keep coming. Don't pass this place up. Bring the kids and the grand parents and friends. TIP BIG!!!

Katharine F.

Yelp
Great frozen custard and a nice outdoor environment. A definite Door County staple!m

Mary H.

Yelp
We ordered cherry pie and were served a jumbled mess of pie. When we pointed this out, we were told, "That's the way it comes!" Manager was not helpful at all. We asked for and got a refund. We won't be coming back. The ice cream, pie and service are ALL better at Wilson's in Ephraim.

Steve R.

Yelp
The food was pretty bad: hamburger, hot dog, and chicken sandwich. What was worse, though, was when the cook flat-out refused to remake a hamburger that was made incorrectly. We received a refund, but I've never experienced such rude customer service. Here's hoping the custard and other desserts are better, and the cook is replaced.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Very neat place tucked down below the Main Street. Lots of speciality ice cream dishes. Very tasty. Defiantly a special treat

Kyle H.

Yelp
Not Licked Yet! (nah neener neener neener) Not Licked Yet! I can't get the song "Not Dead Yet" out of my head, when I say the name of this frozen custard shop in Fish Creek, Door County. Not Licked Yet has many specialty sundae offerings, Panini that looked good, and frozen custard! We chose to spoil our dinner with the Daily Custard special, Mint-to-be-Oreo. Very good! The young employees are super polite and they yell a hearty group "Thank You!" after you leave a tip in their tip jar that lists all of the Universities they are attending. Be Cool, Stay in School! Plenty of seating and parking here, and we enjoyed taking a load off in their white rocking chairs. Not Licked Yet has a relaxing outdoor setting with lots of terraced garden, tables with umbrellas, and a play area for the kids. Ample indoor seating is available. Great for a pop-in when in Door County! Not Licked Yet! (nah neener neener neener)

Allen A.

Yelp
We love this ice cream place. You sit outside and your kids can play in the creek while adults sit in rocking chairs. The Pros - great ice cream - beautiful area to sit - feed the ducks The cons - a bit pricey - my kid 's cookies and cream and my milkshake was over $18 - the sign is creepy. Is it a boy? Is it a llama eating ice cream? A weird clown? Who knows. But we also discuss it Overall though - how can you go to fish creek and not come here ? We never do. I would suggest this place to anyone.

Cody O.

Yelp
The butter pecan is the best. Doesn't get better than this spot when it comes to ice cream in Door County. Highly recommend!

Girlgeek B.

Yelp
Amazing shakes. Great service. And a nice play area and pond, to top off the great experience.

Jill O.

Yelp
Ah yes, the best part of coming up to Door County and an O. family tradition. I was so excited to see that it was still here when I came back as an adult, because when I was little, seeing that sign meant that vacation had started and we were no longer in the Illinois land of ice cream- it was time for CUSTARD! I was so happy when it lived up to my childhood nostalgia. It's only gotten bigger and better! It's downhill in a really pretty pocket of trees. It's really nice to sit outside and enjoy the view as you enjoy your scoop. Last time that I was here I of course had to splurge and get a sundae. I got a Door County sundae which is vanilla frozen custard, hot fudge, Door County cherries and pecans on top. It's DC in a nutshell- no pun intended. The custard is nice and creamy, and the scoops are pretty big. I think this sundae was about $7, and that's totally worth it. I'm so happy that this place is still around, and I'll definitely be harassing my Wisconsinite of a girlfriend to take me here again once it opens for the season.

Susan F.

Yelp
This place is a short walk from our hotel, so we are here every night for our daily fix of frozen custard. The young adult servers are nice and friendly. Love the different seating areas outside (there is a small indoor area if you need it) and all the heaters. There is a small river flowing on the property with ducks you can buy a small bag of feed for. They do serve food, but we have never eaten anything other that the frozen custard.
