Will not be dining here again. Our waitress was stellar! The decor was on theme and upscale. The food was just ok. Lemongrass soup had one sprig of lemongrass and very little lemongrass flavor. The calamari coating was flavorless and puffy. The calamari was too chewy. For the price charged the food quality was lacking.

Incredible experience at Notch! We ate outside on the patio on a gorgeous summer night. The bartender was so so friendly and kind, and our hostess Courtney was just the coolest (give that girl a raise!). The food was excellent as always. Highly recommend the Notch Rice Bowl - the sausage and tomatoes in here really made it special. Also loved the appetizers of the Crab Notch’os and the dumplings. The cocktails are ever changing but always interesting. Again, our bartender nailed it (didn’t catch her name but she deserves a raise too!). Overall a beautiful and delicious night. We’ll be back soon!

Our visit was a mix bag. The girl who served us was super nice but nowhere to be found and more took our order, dropped off drinks and was near when the food was dropped off. The French fries and burger were delicious. Specifically the fries. I would just come here for fries. Like I would give this place a 5 for the fries. SO GOOD. Our friend was gluten free and the things she wanted that were marked gluten free on website and in the store on the menu were NOT gluten free. At least that’s what the waitress told us when she checked. She said they were misprints?!?!? We were pretty bummed for her because we would have gone else where, we literally came for certain gluten free items, big strike. This brings knocks a star off and the waiter never being around knocks a star off. The fries were amazing and gives it 3 shining stars.

Stopped in for dinner with a reservation, though in hindsight, it wasn't necessary since the place wasn’t very crowded, and we ended up seated near the bar. Given it was a reservation, I had expected a different seating arrangement—perhaps something quieter—but instead, we were placed near the noise and bustle of the bar area. Our server, who was also tending to the bar, was friendly enough, but the service left much to be desired, with extended waits throughout the evening. As for the appetizers, they were, frankly, a bit odd. The menu listed lobster bao buns, but what arrived was a cold lobster on a rice cracker with seaweed paper. It felt disjointed—perhaps if the bun and lobster had been served at the same temperature, it might have worked better. For the main course, I opted for the Notch Fried Rice bowl. The dish came with a mix of ingredients—60-minute egg, Chinese sausage, pork belly, and more—but overall, it was underwhelming. The sausage was decent, but the rest of the dish felt dry and overcooked, with the togarashi spice unevenly distributed. It was either bland or overwhelming, with no in-between. I've visited Notch a few times, and unfortunately, it seems like the quality and care that once defined this place have diminished. What used to be an enjoyable dining experience now feels lackluster. With a dinner for two costing around $150, I’m left wondering if there’s somewhere else where that money would be better spent.

I made a reservation for the Chef’s Table experience for my partners birthday and we had an amazing time! We had a perfect 5 course meal that was seasonal and made custom for us, and it was so good from start to finish. I’m a vegetarian and they made vegetarian alternatives for each course just for me which was so thoughtful. The service was personable and fast and the portions were huge (we took home enough to have the same dinner again at home!). I would recommend this to anyone looking for a high end unique dinner experience. Thanks Notch!!

Went in for a late dinner on Friday and was still warmly greeted by staff and given great service from my server Madeline and never felt rushed at any point. Food not only came out in a timely manner but the taste and quantity of everything was well worth the price. The buffalo chicken egg rolls a little more on the spicier side which is just how I like things and Madeline had informed me that I could get the poke bowl and a specific temperature level of which I chose medium but think next time I’ll go spicier. Lots of great desserts to choose from as well however I can never turn down something that has peanut butter and chocolate in jt.

Such a phenomenal surprise. Our server, Bevin was simply amazing. She knew every dish and beverage and helped guide us through one amazing meal. My girlfriend and I cannot wait to return!

Google
The service and atmosphere was good. But the food was not what I expected, the pictures online make it look like gourmet food but I honestly had a better poke bowl at Wegmans and dessert for $30 less. I was disappointed but had a nice night out with my girlfriends.

Yelp
All I can say is Notch Brisket Chow Mein !!!! Amazing meal! Drinks were great also. Very nice inside. Great staff. Go get you some!

Yelp
I knew I was set up for failure taking my picky eater there. Surprisingly they passed with flying colors. They accepted her special request and did it right the first time. I recommend the red curry. Bathroom was spotless and smelled great. Place was looked new and modern but not intimidating like some joints. Kinda dead for a Saturday night. Maybe they have a night crowd. Parking was interesting. Have to do a U-turn to get out because one side was one way.

Yelp
Faith our waitress was amazing and was a big part of our awesome experience Food was better than I predicted and until you experience you won't get it. Brisket anything is great

Yelp
Such an exciting restaurant with exceptional food and drink! Our server, Bevin, was absolutely stellar. She knew all of the dishes and adult beverages and successfully helped us navigate choices. The chefs created exceptional dishes of the highest quality with an amazing balance of flavors. My girlfriend and I shared their pork belly wontons and they tasted as if they had just been handcrafted just moments before they were served. The salmon dish at Notch is perfect, light, and beyond tender. The vegetables had also been beautifully prepared and I devoured all of it. My girlfriend loved her burger and fries, which she adored. Our drinks were fantastic as well. Notch also boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere for couples or families, and there is also a bar for those who want something even more casual. We cannot wait to return!

Yelp
This food was insane! (Didn't love the dessert but everything else slamming!) To start we got the Notchos that were SOOO GOOD. crispy light wontons topped with melted cheese, fresh crabmeat, jalapeños & fresh garnishes. Highly recommend. Also for app we got the tuna tartare; it was okay not crazy flavored but didn't taste fishy so that was a plus. For dinner; got the salmon. Soooo good. It was over a bed of vegetables in a red curry sauce with a side of sticky rice. Highly recommend. For dessert; the salted caramel brownie with espresso whipped cream. Not a super fan of this particular dessert but the rest of the meal was banging. It was my 1st time there and definitely going back to try Bobby's Dip and some Boa Buns.

Yelp
This is my favorite restaurant in the area, the drinks, food, and ambiance are absolutely amazing. I went for my birthday and have taking many friends here. Had to take a star off for the one time I decided to do a pick up order, the portion size for the calamari in particular was ridiculously small in comparison to what you get in the restaurant and still paid full price. So I guess I'll stick to eating in!

Yelp
What in the other loving shit happened to this place? The Shishido's are battered?? That's a bad choice. The pad Thai tasted intensely a fish sauce, which wasn't even listed and has quite literally never been a thing. It takes the cake was my fiancé's Ramen - it didn't look anything like the pictures, was served without egg or the crispy chips and with some sort of giant duck leg on top bone in... Not sure how that's supposed to work, but also the noodles were completely raw and didn't cook in the broth that was given. Everything tasted off. It's a shame because we used to like this place a lot.

Yelp
Decided to try this place again for my birthday with a friend. The service was great and drinks were pretty good. However...Dare I say, the food has actually gotten even worse. I ordered the brisket bao buns, the brisket was brisket but the slaw on top made for a smell that was intolerable - I had to scrape it off and push it far over. The actual bao buns were crispy and very greasy. Needless to say...left disappointed once again.

Yelp
Driving to Pittsburgh on a Sunday evening and was looking for a restaurant for dinner. Wanted one not too far off I 78. Yelp helped me pick notch modern kitchen. Clean n chic place. Friendly n Very welcoming staff. Plenty of parking. Had the pork Bao buns, ma go salad n chicken wings. They were all so yummy n generous portions. Wings were delicious n had 10 so we could share. For entrees we had the thai red curry bowl, wagyu truffle burgher n Hawaiian pad ramen. The Hawaiian pad thai was so good n a generous portion, very flavorful w pieces of sausage n pork. Had a nice crunchy topping. The thai red curry bowl was delicious too. And the burgher was ok. Stuffed ourselves that there was no room for desert. What a pity. Thank you for a great Sunday dinner.

Yelp
This restaurant was new to me. I was excited to give it a try for a lunch on a Saturday just as they opened at noon. The building is clean and modern in its design. The menu is split into shareables and handhelds as well as appetizers and entrees. Lots of great choices. I had the scallops from the appetizer section the seared U-10 for $22. I think the price was a little much for three scallops but they were really delicious! In the future I would get a salad too. Others in my party had the pork belly boa buns and the Buffalo chicken egg rolls. They loved them and the buns were fresh and the ranch was great! I had one issue which was the ladies room. The "changing table" was the kind you would have in your home with the fabric cover. Not really up to code for a restaurant in my opinion. It really should be a hard plastic one made with micro ban. Then the garbage can was supposed to be a way your hand style; again for home use. The lid would not open and we had take the whole lid off to throw away paper towels. Someone in my party reported the same issue with the garbage can in the men's room. I wanted to tell someone but I couldn't find a host person or manager around. Overall a great restaurant with Asian American fusion food and drinks

Yelp
I live so close and it's a crime that after 5 years of them being opened I finally went in. Wow, I've been missing quality dining. We went on a Sunday evening and it was surprising quiet. Our server was a bit slow...but the food made up for it. Everyone in my party's orders were HUGE portions. Everyone needed a box. I had the pad Thai and it was everything I hoped for. They also have very unique cocktails and everyone was satisfied. The mocktails are even fancy. I had the Lehigh Valley Housewives #2....wonderful! We will be back!

Yelp
We visited Notch MKB for the first time and we're not sure we'll be back again. Overall the drinks and food were great! The service, not so much. We're hoping it's because they were understaffed. The decor is beautiful inside. Beautiful pieces of Thai art placed throughout inside. We were greeted and seated, but waited for an uncomfortably long time before our server greeted us, brought us water, and took our drink orders. I remember looking at my watch because it was to the point of "what time is it?", "does anyone know we were seated?", and "should... we leave?" Our drinks were great and beautifully presented. My Thai iced tea was full of flavor and not watered down. The Notch and W.O. etched on my boyfriend's glass is a beautiful touch. We got our appetizer, but no one gave us a set of utensils or napkins. It's weird to think about, but do you ever remember needing to ask for a set of utensils and napkins from anywhere? Besides needing a specific/extra utensil or extra napkins. Usually utensils & napkins are already set, or provided when seated. We got the tuna tartare and I noticed the chips left some oily residue on my fingers and I wanted to wipe my fingers... on a napkin that I didn't have. I noticed the tuna tartar was heavier on the mayo. Flagged a server and we got our utensils and napkins, great. Then we waited for our entrees, which again took an uncomfortably long time. There was a small section of the menu that said it wouldn't be available until after 5 PM. I joked with my boyfriend that we should've ordered something from the 5 PM menu. When we got our entrees, the taste and presentation almost made up for the wait. The Thai fried rice was very delicious and not too salty or oily/fatty. It made you want more. It tasted light and balanced, even with the pork belly's little bursts of fat. My boyfriend got the smash burger with truffle fries. I may have eaten half of his truffle fries because they were so amazing! Crispy outside, soft and hot on the inside, perfectly salted and not an overpowering amount of truffle oil. The portion of my fried rice was generous. We did notice the table next to us was left dirty for the entire time we were seated and when someone came around with the intention of cleaning the table midway during our time, they really just left the spray bottle of blue Windex and a rag there. The dessert menu wasn't printed yet so we got it verbally. The creme brulee sounded interesting, but we were already pretty full and there already for well over an hour. Also, I don't think I've ever heard of a menu not printed yet for service. I'd like to come back and try it again at some point. I'm hoping it was just a weird and bad first impression.

Yelp
Notch Modern Kitchen specializes in Asian fusion food, where you can also get a great burger. We've tried their sweet potato wontons. White Sangria was pretty good. Thai Red Curry Bowl with chicken breast was spicy and it was good. Spring Ramen contained two scallops, noodles, vegetables and 60 second egg in seasoned broth. Brisket Chow Mein with a little brisket, vegetables, mostly noodles was pretty good. Poutine was really good. Friend enjoyed medium rare flame-grilled cheeseburger. Thai Tea Ice Cream with spiced brownie was very good first time we tried it.

Yelp
Came here with a friend on a Saturday night, as always we were impressed with the food and drinks. I will say that I prefer the old Bao Buns which were fluffier and not fried, but the new fried ones weren't bad. The ramen was incredible, I expected it to be more like a soup but it was actually the consistency of a creamy pasta dish. Was very good! The menu is a little pricey especially the $14 drinks but it's definitely a unique and different menu so I think it's justified.

Sharon B.

Yelp
Where do I begin. First... hope you love cilantro. It's the major flavor in everything. Mistakes from initial phone call, dirty dishes left on table, server said ' no spice' on my dish and having that ignored, overly sweet cocktail, unappetizing entrees, and the minuscule layer of (very tasty) crème brûlée. $100 plus tip wasted. In brief: Hawaiian pad Thai was sweet, no spices to add layers of flavor. Hard cubes of pork belly. The brisket chow mein was dry, mealy, and spicy tho was told it wouldn't be, small cubes, maybe 1/8th of a cup of brisket. Thinnest layer of crème brûlée ever experienced. Service rushed, place was noisy, and just an experience that we won't forget.

Yelp
Unfortunately, this is another restaurant in the Lehigh Valley that looks really great but just doesn't live up to appearances. The menu looks stellar and the decor is trendy and cool. The place is huge, and it seems like it would be a great spot for groups or events. But the quality of the food just doesn't stand up to the chic look. I came for a late lunch and ordered the shrimp bao buns with a side of the crispy cauliflower. The portions that came were way off; the bao were tiny and each one had half a shrimp each. The cauliflower was an enormous portion for something fried. And on top of all of that, it was all so expensive! A very small fountain pour of Diet Coke (in a teeny glass!) was $3. The side of cauliflower was $10. The shrimp-- more reasonable-- was $15 for three bao, but I would have expected each one to have a couple of shrimp... or at least a whole one. I wanted this place to be so good, but it unfortunately just isn't.

Yelp
1. The small appetizer dishes brought to our table were dirty. 2. Ordered Curry Chicken Wings as an appetizer. It's smell was terrible. Like a vermin. 3. I ordered the Hawaiian bowl. It was soupy w/ 2 very tiny pineapple pieces. It had the hard curly spaghetti shaped cracker sprinkled on top. Shocked me at my first bite, because it looked like the soft noodles hidden under it. They poked the roof of my mouth. Didn't finish nor did I enjoy it. The food had a surprisingly bland taste, disgusting smell and odd texture. If we would even consider returning, I wouldn't order this again. For its price on the menu, this meal was very disappointing and I wouldn't recommend eating there to a friend or family.

Yelp
I've been here 3 times now and I still don't have any photos of the food because it's just. That. Good. There are so many great things we can say about Notch but I'll focus on the food recommendations. Sweet potato wontons- perfectly crispy, with sweet and tangy twist Buffalo chicken egg rolls - exactly what you would expect, BCD wrapped in a crunchy roll Bao buns- the roasted brisket is one NOT TO MISS. However I will note we were very disappointed with the overly chewly pork belly and tasteless tofu baos- avoid these Smash burger- cooked and stacked perfectly Wagyu burger- the caramelized onion and truffle makes this burger the king of all wagyu burgers. Highly recommend Crispy sweet Thai cauliflower- was definitely a crowd pleaser for all. It was actually crispy and not over cooked at all. Do not miss this! Tuna tartare- the wontons and the mango oil put this dish over the top. There's so many items on the menu I definitely recommend the best way to sample Notch is to go with a group for family style feasting. The waitress for our last visit was very friendly however the restaurant was not very busy at all when we went and we felt that we had to keep waving her down. Her recommendations did hit well though! Not only is the food amazing, they have huge list of cocktails to choose from. If you aren't in the mood for any of those try the "dealers" choice where you can have the bartender concoct a new drink for you.

Yelp
I came with my family on a Tuesday evening and it was busy but we were able to be seated immediately. The food was overall good considering the options in Allentown, though pricey. Overall I enjoyed my experience and I say this place is worth it for date night or a special occasion. Asian Peartini: 3/5, the Asian pear flavor came through well and the drink was strong, but I wished there was more depth to the drink Pad Thai: 4/5 was suprisingly very happy with this dish. It ended up being my favorite. The noodles were bouncy and it was not too sweet. We added chicken to it which was def needed though keep in mind it is an extra $9. Bibimbap: 3/6 the dish looked better than it tasted. I think there needed to be less rice or more sauce because when mixed up it was kind of bland. The pork belly was crispy and yummy though a bit salty. I would come again to try other dishes. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful

Yelp
My oh my! Their nap bun as to die for! I crave them once a month. I've been here a few times and this place never disappoints, it is consistent. No matter what you order you can rest assured it will be tasty. Their cocktails are AMAZING too!

Yelp
I am not easily impressed but I was blown away by the delicious food and incredible service at Notch! The depth of flavor in each dish is rarely seen at this price point. This is my new go-to whenever we are in town!

Yelp
Made a reservation and got seated pretty quickly. Service was good overall. Really like their dealer's choice cocktails where you can pick your spirit and flavor profile. Very small touch, but thoughtful. Started with the crispy cauliflower (side), sticky tofu & crispy cod bao buns. All pretty food, the Thai chili sauce on the crispy cauliflower was great. Shared the bibimbap and Notch vegetable fried rice for entree. Both came out pretty good and good portions. I was scared a place like this would have small portions. Not too familiar with this area, but food was pretty good overall.

Yelp
My daughter likes this place and had gotten me a gift card for here for Christmas last year and we had recently used it and I'm sorry I did not use it sooner. Really nice place looks great comfortable setting. The people are very helpful. Know their menu very well and the food is absolutely incredible. Another must try place.

Yelp
I was here today. It was pretty nice actually. I got a simple drink. And I left within 15 minutes. I didn't eat anything but it was very nice and very quiet and I liked the atmosphere. The manager came out and he was friendly. I thought I forgot something there, but I didn't. And I would come back if I'm in town again.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite spot in the area. If you are ever nearby, Make sure to give this a try! The dishes are pretty inspired, and the flavors are truly unique. My disappointment is that the menu no longer offered dishes I tried previously, but it's been years since I had the chance to visit again, so it's understandable. And the newer choices are just as enjoyable. Service is also top notch, and the setting is nice. I am not sure what the inspiration is for the name, but I certainly didn't mean to use it in a pun there, lol.

Yelp
"We'd be better off going to get hot dogs at Costco." This place left much to be desired. If you're going to do a fusion menu, you have to be thoughtful about your flavor combinations and culinary techniques. I'd know--I'm a DietitianChefConnoisseur. In all seriousness though, I got some ramen and the broth was straight up cold. Not room temp, but cold. The brisket was dry, the pickled vegetables were chopped up into huge chucks, which made them real crunchy. I found myself picking through the ramen looking for things I wanted to eat, and coming up short. The duck wasn't flavorful, but it was tender and cooked well. Crispy skin would have been nice. It came with a serving of fried rice that I don't think a group of 6 adult males could have finished on their own. Had lil frozen chunks of peas and carrots mixed in--the same stuff you'd get at your local China Wok. A decent meal, but definitely not worth $34. Also look at my beverage. Costs $15 and I get 4 oz of liquid, at best. I've had worse food, though, so 2 stars.

Sunshine H.

Yelp
Amazing! Many vegan options and tons of non vegan. As vegan, I tried the cauliflower, fried rice, bibimbap. All were incredible. The curry fries were amazing, and everyone else enjoyed everything. The fried chicken, pad Thai, salads were all delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
Made a reservation for the next evening at 6:30. Gave the girl on the phone my name and phone number, and she confirmed the reservation for a party of 2 at 6:30. The Mrs. And I were happy to finally have time to go out for a nice date night, however, when we got there, they did not put in the reservation into the system, and turned us away. I even showed them my phone where I called them, and showed a 4 minute conversation. There was no offer to make a reservation for the next night, an apology for their mixup, or even any remedy to fix the situation. They had nowhere they could sit us unless we waited for almost 2 hours. They have lost our business, and will not recommend them to others in the area.

Yelp
Decided to visit Notch although I was very skeptical due to the various negative reviews on yelp. We visited on a rainy Sunday night so the restaurant was essentially empty. Lucky for us we got incredible service and fresh delicious food! We started our night with the crispy sweet potato wontons (triangle shaped wontons with sweet potato filling, served with a tangy creamy aioli and roasted peanuts.) Absolutely loved this dish and the combination of flavors was outstanding. The star of the show was our main course, the Fish & Chips wrap (crispy cod, malt vinegar fries, kimchi coleslaw and house made tartar) I DREAM about how delicious this was!!!! I paired this with a side of cheesy scalloped potatoes. Outstanding I have to say I was shocked by the negative reviews. I highly recommend trying out the dishes I listed! If you're interested in trying some bold flavors I highly recommend notch. One of the few restaurants in the valley that have satisfied my love for expanding my flavor palette. Shoutout to our waitress Bre, she was amazing!

Yelp
Came here for a business meeting. Nice atmosphere. Food was ok but pricey. Brisket bao buns and pork dumplings were really good. Do yourself a favor and don't order the tuna poke bowl unless you want to eat a mushy tuna-like substance with a bowl of stalky cilantro and 2 pounds of rice. The bowl can feed 3 people. The waitress was friendly but had annoying vocal fray and sounded like a social medial influencer. It was grating.

Yelp
what a Great place we had dinner and we enjoyed a few signature drinks on the patio Service was fast food was flavorful If you have not tried Notch yet ,U r missing out Can't wait to come back!!!

Yelp
This place is great. The cocktails are excellent, 10/10. Service is friendly. I went twice, and both times, the food was great, but that's what taking it from five to four stars for me. I don't know; it's fusion food, but I hoped for a little more flavor or a little more honoring of the Asian inspirations. The proteins were cooked nicely though, and the ingredients were fresh. The atmosphere was nice, soft lighting, not too loud, nicely decorated.

Yelp
We had a reservation for a party of 8 and waited 35-40 minutes. Let me be clear, this was gold standard, meaning everyone with a reservation waited long not just because we had a large party. We were told it was busy which was true but because they were severely understaffed and that's an understatement. 1 waitress for entire dining area... The food was nasty (minus the French fries) and expensive. Steak was over cooked for a medium-rare, broccoli was not cooked, rice was mushy/sticky, calamari was gross, chicken was gross, ramen bowel was gross, curry salmon (cooked) was ok, shrimp and rice platter- shrimp was over cooked, chicken did not taste seasoned and was tough, and the sauce on it was thick and rubbery. Chicken fingers and French fries were good. Drinks (wine, Lehigh valley, Long Island) were ok, tasted good but small in size and expensive! They admitted the chefs were flustered and in my opinion is wasn't because of "being busy", I don't believe them to have been properly trained in American-Asian cuisine. It didn't taste like it anyway. I'll be honest, the food was bad but most of my review is because we paid for it and ultimately waited to be disappointed. While I could've expressed our disappointment and possibly had 8 meals free (rightfully so) I couldn't imagine asking to have 8 plates excused and the waitress suffer/be embarrassed. Despite everything she may have been going through, our waitress was great. I feel so bad for bringing my family here because our bills was hefty!

Yelp
Great service, horrible food. My first visit to this restaurant was amazing, but my experience changed this time around... this was my second visit and I was disappointed. No flavor in the food, it's full of oil. There were no fresh vegetables in any of the dishes and we ordered a huge variety off the menu. We were also misguided regarding portion sizes... their plates are huge and shareable. I was not impressed with the food at all. I would not go back again.

Yelp
I've been to this restaurant twice now. Every meal has been delicious and unique. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The highlight of my recent visit had to be the Craft cocktails. I had the Irish Old Fashion, and it was incredible. Make sure Notch is on your must visit if you are anywhere nearby.

Yelp
I feel ripped off! My husband and I have eaten here a lot over the years. The last time we were here was bad but thought we'd try it again. We got to Notch and were seated immediately, ordered drinks that took over 45 minutes to get. We had finished our appetizers before even getting our drinks. We were told the bar is backed up, which is interesting because there were 2 people sitting at the bar and only a few tables filled in the dining area. The appetizers were good but at this point my husband and I are both so irritated. We then got our entrees and had empty glasses for some time, our waitress was rolling silverware..... I mean come on!!!! We will not be back, we feel ripped off!

Yelp
Expensive, mediocre quality, drinks are good. I'd go for bites and drinks, but heads-up you'll end up spending about $100. Sit at the bar.

Yelp
Immediately coming in I loved the vibe of the restaurant, the people that sat me and my family were awesome. Our server, Beven, was so sweet and she made such incredible recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the menu. I got the sweet potato gnocchi and absolutely LOVED it, I wanted to lick the plate afterward lol. Every bit of our experience was carefully thought out, and as a college student I'm definitely going to bring my friends here!

Yelp
Started with Bao Buns. Cooked in oil, not steamed. Waitress said they were trying something new. Please Don't. They are gross. A bow bun should be steamed, soft, chewy, and delicious. These were fried in too much oil that was clearly not new as it tasted like two year old oil from the playground snack shack. Buffalo chicken egg roll is so ground it's more like paste than chicken. Nachos swimming in sauce. So much sauce that the chips were soggy. Not good. Burger way over cooked - to the point it is more like coal. You can see in the picture it's black and hard. Fish sandwich was on stale roll. The fries were good. But I paid over $115 for fries. The waitress was pleasant - but the insincere use of "friends" makes me want to barf - but not as much as the food. And when you see that all of the dishes were barely eaten, you might want to ask if everything was OK. Also, never once was offered a refill on my empty soda throughout the meal. Wanna go again?? Hard pass.

Yelp
A place with strong flavors! The shrimp in the pad Thai is the best I have in awhile, had a nice smoky taste to them. Cod was a little greasy but that made it tasty. Peppers nice menu. Beautiful bar

Yelp
The environment is lovely and the food is good , however the service wasn't all that great the waitress kept messing up on orders and even when I asked for the check which I clearly said I wanted, she instead brought back a desserts menu and said that I had to try the dessert before I left. I get she was probably trying to do her job but it just made me feel uncomfortable with how pushy she was being. ( Sadly I was informed that they no longer serve dumplings)

Yelp
Being the sister restaurant of White Orchids in Saucon Valley my friends and I were excited to try out this new restaurant. Great space, they completely redid the building from when it was a reality office. Definitely lived up to its name with a modern look. Making a reservation through Resy was very easy. There were a lot of dining options "patio, bar dining, main dining, balcony, and Captain's table." I chose bar dining for this first visit. It would be nice if there was a brief description of the different seating options. But when I checked in at the host stand, they were happy to walk me over and show up me what the Captain's table was - the larger corner booths. Everything tasted great and everyone we came across was very friendly. Our server, Jason, was great - polite, informative, and atentive without hovering. Also very accommodating - I requested a drink I like (Thai Tea + Bourbon or Whiskey) and they were happy to make it. There were minor things we came across but nothing major. Plus having just opened there's room for some kinks. Being a Social Plate it would have been nice if the Shrimp Toast was cut into quarters for sharing. The Calamari was flavorful and usually one our favorite appetizers to share but we didn't end up finishing the dish - without any sauce it was a little dry. The Steamed Bao Buns we ordered were delicious! It was nice to have some options besides the usual pork belly. The bottom just got a little soggy and messy since the 3 Bao sat on top of the sauce. This week they are currently just serving dinner. Will eventually have lunch and dim sum on Sundays. And desserts to be served in the future. Overall good experience. 3/4 stars with the caveat that they just opened. Will definitely be back! Interested to try their Happy Hour and future Chef's Table.

Yelp
Notch is simply amazing. The service, the food, the drinks... everything is top notch! This was honestly the best burrito I've ever had. We shared Buffalo chicken egg rolls and enjoyed the cocktail and draft beer list. We were so happy with our food and can't wait to visit again. The vibe is a perfect way to spend a weekend of special weekday night out!

Yelp
Notch has variety of food and drinks. Very interesting fusion food, traditional American mixed with asian foods. I would say the service was fantastic, the drinks were very good, and the food had potential (in terms of flavor and taste) but every plate was extremely salty. Would've given them a 4-5 star if they chilled out with the sodium.

Yelp
The service and the atmosphere were lovely. We got coconut soup, truffle fries and tuna Poke bowl. The fries and the soup were room temp. Other then that, it was good.

Yelp
REALLY great place with a changing fusion menu. This time I had their butternut squash soup and sticky tofu bao buns. Highly recommend trying these out, the flavors are exceptional and well-prepared. The wait staff and workers are extremely friendly too with great service. They also offer mocktail options with flavor selections and the bartender creates something unique every time.

Yelp
Awesome, this has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in the area. Service, drinks, and food are all incredible. For us it would be an every weekend kind of place for us if it was in the budget. The bolognese is a must try, absolutely one of the best meals I have ever had, but really haven't had anything on the menu that we haven't liked and are excited to try everything else.

Yelp
Service was good but the food was sub par. We got a bunch of apps and a few cocktails. The cauliflower is a massive portion...they should cut it in half for an appetizer and the ahi tuna is more like an ahi tune salad and the chips are sooooo greasy. The belly was definitely a little upset after eating here. The cocktails have great ingredients but there were no garnishes...it was weird ! And I ordered a drink with rosemary in it and the bartender shook it in the shaker WITH the rosemary before pouring it in a glass. I had chunks of rosemary in every sip I had to ask him to strain it :/ I feel like this restaurant has such great potential but is definitely falling short in some aspects.

Yelp
I like everything about this place. Cool vibe inside. Nice patio front porch area. Servers are nice. Food is good. A little pricey but what is in these days?
