"This comfy diner-style cafe in an Estes Park strip mall is named after Notchtop Mountain in Rocky Mountain National Park, so it’s fitting that it’s our favorite stop before adventures. Red booths, simple tables, and reclaimed wood prove that it’s all about the food here, and that’s a good thing. The exhaustive menu can be hard to choose from, especially because all the offerings sound so good. There are breakfast combos, hashes, sandwiches, scrambles, Benedicts, and pancakes; for our money, though, the cinnamon roll French Toast and the Santa Fe hash both hit the spot." - Megan Barber

Went on vacation with the family and saw this wonderful spot that people talked about how to try it out before a hike in the Rocky Mountains and it was perfect. The portions are amazing and oh my goodness I never had biscuits this great before and I’m in school currently to be a chef. It is Very family friendly I have two autistic boys and even though the youngest one had the hardest time trying to sit still the food came out fast was delicious. He enjoyed the colors that they provided him.

Notchtop Bakery and Cafe in Estes Park is one of our favorite spots to visit whenever we’re in town. The food and drinks are consistently great—fresh, flavorful, and comforting, whether you’re grabbing breakfast or lunch. It’s a small, cozy restaurant with a charming, local feel, but that also means there’s no real waiting area. You typically have to wait for a table, often standing in a tight entryway or deciding whether to try another spot. Still, the quality of the food and the friendly atmosphere usually make the wait worthwhile.

Great food and amazing coffee. We tried the veggie hash and fish & chips. Veggie hash was delicious but the portion was too big. Couldnt finish. On the other hand, the portion size for the fish was a bit small (at least for my husband) but probably appropriate for me. Yummy food overall.

Great breakfast choices. I really enjoyed trout and eggs. They have mimosas. Excellent view of Longs peak and Stanley hotel.

Went here for my birthday breakfast based on reviews. Honestly, I was unimpressed. I don’t know if we maybe ordered the wrong items but it was just lacking. I went with the seasonal menu and ordered crab cakes, treated myself to a boozy birthday coffee, partner had seasonal berry crepes and child had French toast. The fruit on the French toast was good, very fresh, the size of the boozy coffee was generous, but the food was meh at best. Crab cakes were mushy. Ricotta crepes were just ok. The filling tasted almost like it was store-bought which would be fine if it tasted well but there was just something about it that we didn’t care for. Breakfast is my favorite meal and I don’t know if I ventured out too far from my usual but I’m not a picky eater. The desserts and cookies looked good but we had plans for dessert after so I didn’t try those. Maybe order something different if you go here ?

One of the best places to eat in Estes Park that I've been to visit. Wide range of diner style food. Clean, quick, polite. Great place to eat while you're in town. I prefer caveman hash.

Took a family trip through the mountains and had trouble deciding where to eat brunch. We decided after reading the reviews to stop here. I’m glad we did. Staff is very friendly, great service, delicious food. My only complaint is that half of my English muffin was on the tougher side and hard to cut through.
