Yesterday we went to pick up our baby girls birthday cake for her first birthday (10 inch cake) . It’s not the first time we order from here. When we opened the box to cut the cake, we noticed they gave us the wrong cake (8 inch cake). It was definitely an upsetting experience being that we were clearly not going to have enough cake for the 18 guests we were hosting. We called the location, and the customer service was unbelievable. ATROCIOUS. The lady’s first question was “did you pick up the cake when we were busy?”. Sorry, does that matter? You gave us the wrong cake. Doesn’t matter how busy you are, that’s not the first question you should ask. The response should have been.. “I’m sorry about that, what was your name so I can check what happened?”. Then she proceeded to tell me my cake was in the cooler and that they did in fact give us the wrong order. I asked for a refund and she said “we don’t do refunds here, you can get store credit or pick up your cake.” Totally laughable. Her attitude was NASTY. This is probably the WORST experience I have ever received in this location. This was a mistake on your end! And while mistakes do happen, keep in mind it’s how you handle them that represents your brand!
