"The restaurant has been closed since February due to a burst water pipe that flooded the premises. This is the second time the reopening date has been pushed back, leading to concerns that there may be some deeper issues with Nothingness. Word is the landlord still hasn’t made repairs that they promised to make." - Jim Thurman

Excellent flavor. We asked for our food to be very spicy, and it definitely has some heat, not just the numbing spice. There have been a lot of Sichuan restaurants popping up lately, but this is one of the best so far. We enjoyed the Dan Dan Mien and the Cumin Beef quite a bit! Good sized portions as well.

We had a medium spicy level but I’ll give it 2 out of 10. Flavor is ok and will come back with friends.

Went to Nothingness because of the comments here and elsewhere that they could create gluten free dishes. After having two different staffers say they couldn't (one whom thought we wanted dishes without flowers), someone from the kitchen came out and we told them. They said there were dishes without flour, but only pork dishes. When asked if they were wheat free, the answer was not clear. We ended up walking out. Learn from our terrible experience: Don't go here for gluten free dishes.

The spice level we had, medium, was plenty spicy. They should cut back on the salt/sodium level, otherwise really nice flavor.

I love this restaurant but it is still temporarily closed because of water damage, as are other businesses in this plaza. It has been closed for longer than we expected and we hope it reopens soon. Or if they move we hope we can find them again.

Excellent! Spicy but not overly so to take over the flavor of the food. Fried dishes not greasy

Great service and quick food. Not the best presentation and the cigarette smell from the kitchen wasn't appetizing.

Came today, but closed due to pipe burst. No mention when re-open
