NotSo Hostel Annex

Stayed here for a single night when the surprise 2025 Charleston snow/ice storm hit! We were not expecting it in the slightest but the hosts made sure we were warm and safe and taken care of and we had the best time in this gorgeous space! Staff member Wren especially helped us stay comfy and was so communicative. We will definitely stay again!

Would absolutely recommend staying here! The house is in a quiet neighborhood and is a 5-15 minute walk from many restaurants and shops, and about 30-40 minute walk to the downtown area. The floors are a bit creaky, so would recommend booking an upstairs room, which we did, and our room came with a white noise machine which was a nice addition. Despite the creaky floors, the house was quiet and easy to sleep in. The kitchen has dishes, a fridge, microwave and toaster oven.

In a normal day I'd leave 5 stars as value for money is good. Mainly good location and decent room. But they have 0 services. I was locked out of room and tried to contact them after hours for provided phone with no luck for 2 hours

Finally got around to leave a review. The location is absolutely perfect. Just 3 minute walk to King Street. We had the room with own bathroom. Everything was super clean, some things like oatmeal are provided. The bed was a little squeaky but they also supply earplugs if you need them. Shower, toilet and sink is pretty much all in one but it works. We will definitely choose this place again when we come back.

We loved our time at this hotel! Clean, convenient, and affordable. Guests should be aware that the location is near King Street and it can be noisy at night as people go home from the bars late at night, but the hotel provided earplugs in the room and we were happy with our stay. Great little place. Very affordable. Location is great just a few minutes walk to king st . Parking lot is nice. Bring a pillow the ones provided are a bit small. No TV in the rooms . There is one down stairs that is available.

Host is rude. Please dont spend money here. I will note I did not get to stay here due to the world wide outage and host was not understanding. Then proceeded to leave a review on air bnb saying I asked for refund out of cancellation policy. Like as if I asked out of no where, there was a world wide issue, how could I have done it on time. I was trying to go. Yet she had no compassion

I cannot recommend the Hostle to any one that has challenges with their body. There is only one door in and out that was difficult for me (age 74, bad knees) to use. Also in my room the floors were very uneven. It would be no problem for the young and I saw many of those. Also around the entrance was overgrown and untidy. The price and the location was good for me.
