If you haven't had a burger from Private Sector Media, you should get on over to Nova Bar on Wednesdays and/or Saturdays. You wouldn't be disappointed.

Great spot for relaxing with some great pours. 🤩 Customer service is incredible! Brett is a great guy who takes care of the customers and really makes everyone feel at home! 🥃 First ask for the raspberry old fashioned (you could even say Ron | IG: whiskey_with recommended it👊🏼) otherwise, Go there and you won’t be disappointed in the whiskey selection. First time here. Seen the high reviews and wanted to try their cocktails. Out of food as of 30 mins prior to our arrival, espresso martini was small and tasted mediocre yet top dollar $12, live one man band music was cute, place I don’t think has insulation so was pretty chilly inside. Interesting vibe…

Stopped in for a few cocktails when they first opened and thoroughly enjoyed! An intimate bar setting, a few small tables and that’s about it; it all works though! Splinter & Terrell are happy to chat and explain the process that goes into each cocktail. No food is served as of now, but they may in the future.

Best cocktails in Hudson, thoughtfully made. Humble spot, cool energy. Wonderful whiskey selection, and High Life on tap! We visit often.

Pizza was fantastic. Manhattan was amazing and time with friends from work was wonderful.

Great atmosphere, awesome people all around! Definitely will be making the 45 min drive many more times! Food from Boomin BBQ was amazing! They also have great cocktails, an awesome selection of whiskey, and really great prices!

Newly renovated and still the most charming hidden gem in town. (Oops the secrets out). The bartenders make your experience well worth your while (eh em... Emma, ask her about that big duck energy). Super cute, quaint and friendly. Worth a stop for a few craft beverages.

While I miss the "old" Nova, stopped in for a cocktail at the new space and it was very good. I will note, they do have some small bites now, like pizzas and small appetizers. Tried a strawberry fields forever, which was light and refreshing. Hubs had something with Blueberry and he seemed to enjoy it. The space is much more minimalist than the previous bar, but they also opened up the front side with a garage door that opens to the patio. Overall, a nice place to grab a beverage and enjoy a nice evening.

Finally made it across the river to Nova today. My visit left me in the state of "how many times were you told to get here... & kept saying...mehh... I will? Well today did not disappoint! I loved the small brunch cocktail menu, not overwhelming and some great options, the bloody with dill pickle ice was very tempting! I opted for the Knob Creek Colab Sour, it was delicious & not too sweet so I sucked it down in two sips! It paired perfectly w hanging out w buddies on the patio! I like that he patio had options of small square tables, round tables and picnic tables w umbrellas! There's a small parking lot, that if it's full you can easily park along the Coulee curb. Boomin Barbecue has residency and w the Libations for Everyone podcast recording today I opted for the Knob Creek burger, "Smoked & Seared Burger, American Cheese, Smoked Pork Belly, Bourbon Braised Onions, Pickles, Knob Creek Aioli on a Sesame Potato Bun". I'm sorry, correction: the DELICIOUS Knob Creek burger!!! The bar was comfortable and spacious, read: you weren't touching legs w the chair next to you. You can see the two bathrooms from the bar, they're not tucked away in some corner. I like that there is a garage door open to the spacious patio. I was able to have a few words w the friendly owner. I may have drug my feet to have my inaugural visit, but I am positive there will be no delay on my next visit. Thanks Nova for such a fun, comfortable and delicious afternoon, cheers!

Truly heartbreaking to see a unique little wine bar/restaurant with quaint seating and a cozy atmosphere get turned into "just another" corporate feeling bar. I have been visiting the Nova for years, have had some wonderful meals and great memories. The food was great, and they had a truly great staff working for them. Holidays were always fun with music, lights, decorations, and spirit. I was truly disappointed to find out that their years-long "renovations" were simply ripping out everything that made The Nova, The Nova, and turning it into a generic looking bar with Applebee's-quality appetizers. I thought I could give them another try, and yeah I pretty much got what I expected, and that was: nothing much going on. What a pity! Hudson has many other signature and notable places to visit for meals and drinks, I would recommend finding another "place to call home" and staying away from the "new" Nova.

Cool place. Amazing beer, liquor, and burger on a Saturday. The Saturday Boomin' BBQ burger is easily top 5 in the area. The bartenders are friendly and do a great job.
