Novaela Delft

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. We have tried several renowned fine dining restaurants and the food was at least on that same level. Unfortunately, the wait between the courses was a little long (we stayed for about 5 hours), but every time the newly served course was worth the wait. We can definitely recommend for a special occasion.

From the moment we walked in, it was clear we were in good hands. The atmosphere was warm yet refined, and the welcome from the staff felt genuinely kind. Every interaction throughout the evening was thoughtful and attentive, without ever becoming too much. The food was simply excellent. Each dish was beautifully balanced and full of flavour. I have a number of dietary restrictions, and I was impressed by the way the kitchen handled them: not as a problem, but as something they were happy to accommodate with care. My husband opted for the wine pairing, which was an excellent choise. The selections were elegant and clearly chosen with knowledge and enthusiasm. What stood out most was the sense that everything from the plating to the pacing was done with love for the craft. There was no showiness, just sincerity. You could feel the passion behind the food. We had a wonderful evening. I wouldn’t change a thing and that’s a well deserved 10!

An enchanting and delicious meal that was quite unexpected in the quaint town of Delft. We were fortunate to be seated at the table nearest the open kitchen and it was wonderful to watch Chef and his team at work. Their commitment and attention to every last detail was apparent. The food was somehow complex and yet uncomplicated and beautiful on the plate. Simply exquisite. I appreciated the locally sourced ingredients and thorough descriptions of each dish that were provided by the servers. I wish I could go back.

Amazingly talented chef(s) and great service. Not only is the food presentation beautiful but the flavours are very sophisticated and well balanced. Would defenitly recommend! Won't be long before they get their first Michelin star.

Every plate offered a visually pleasing and delicious dish developed by a very talented chef. The ambiance is cozy, with touches of understated luxury. Fresh flower arrangements and open roof give a feeling of city garden. Definitely will visit again.

This restaurant is worth a Michelin star! I think they will get it soon. Incredible food!

Superb dining, food that challenges the senses in an amazing way paired with the best wines. Simply amazing!
