Novelli Restaurant Café is one of those spots that instantly makes you feel like you found a hidden gem. The atmosphere is cozy but still has that upscale touch, perfect for a night out when you want good vibes and good food. The staff were super welcoming and made the whole experience smooth from start to finish. I went with the Cornish hen and mashed potatoes, and man, it was on point. The hen was juicy, well-seasoned, and had that perfect balance of crisp on the outside and tender inside. The mashed potatoes were creamy, buttery, and paired perfectly with the dish — comfort food done right, but elevated. You can tell they put real care into how they prepare the food here. What I also loved was that nothing felt rushed. The service had great timing, and the portions were generous without being over the top. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy your meal, and actually savor the moment. Overall, Novelli gave me an experience worth coming back for. I left full, happy, and already planning what I’ll try on my next visit. Definitely recommend this spot if you want quality food, a chill vibe, and great service all in one. OH LAWD!!

This is by far one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in New York City. The building is beautiful, with a warm and elegant interior that’s kept exceptionally clean, professional, and well-organized. The atmosphere feels both cozy and refined. The food is absolutely delicious, and I always look forward to their unique coffee selections each week. Sabina is incredibly kind, attentive, and highly responsive with her team—everything runs smoothly and with great coordination.

I really really wanted to like this place, but they failed miserably at the basics. My daughter ordered the chicken tenders / nuggets and fries. I can't recall which name they used for the dish, so I put tenders / nuggets. The chicken was soggy and pink inside. It was not crispy at all. I don't think there any children looking for soggy chicken. My daughter enjoyed no part of that dish. The sprite was the only thing she enjoyed. I ordered the chicken shis kebab because they are typically delicious at other restaurants. This was not the case at all here. With a typical kebab, the meat is meaty and flavorful. That was NOT the case here. This was a grounded up, dried bland abomination of a kebab. They had a white creamy dipping sauce with some red powder that immediately gave me an allergic reaction. The food was all very expensive, and I have zero desire to return. As for the decor, it all looks very nice. Money was spent to make the place visually appealing, but the food misses the mark by miles. I write many reviews on Google, and I give my honest unbiased opinions. The goal is to help bring about needed changes. To be completely fair, a few of the guests that dined with me and my daughter loves their meals. Those dishes were fish based. My oldest daughter had the sliders and she took one bite out of the 3 mini sliders and wanted no more. Hopefully they can make some much needed changes. I must commend the wait staff, as they were on top of everything the moment we walked in. They did everything within their power to make us comfortable, and get our orders out quickly. Unfortunately, they have no control over the quality of the food. For me, the dining experience was terrible as me and my daughter's found our food not fit for consumption. As you can see, only a single bite was taken out of the sliders we brought home, and only a chunk was eaten from one of the three kebabs.

Great spot for brunch!! They have a wide and unique menu, the bacon egg and cheese waffle was amazing. They also have great coffee menu and cocktails!

The quality of the food is way overpriced. They charged me 7$ for 3 pieces of shrimp. The salad could’ve been better. I ordered chicken tenders and fries for my kid. The fries and tenders were undercooked. And overall my total came out to $52. So not worth it. The people, service and ambience was great but I don’t think I would ever want to come back because of the quality of the food.

Went here for brunch and it was amazing! My waffle was flaky but not to hard, plenty of avocado and fresh fruit on top, the salmon was the best I’ve had in my life, the waiter was so attentive and made sure my bloody Mary was made just right. Even the bathrooms were nice, spacious and clean. I highly recommend this place, and the customer service is outstanding.

We just popped in to check it out and the surprise 😮 we got. The food was amazing, very tasty, beautiful well put together places. And I'm in love with the Mint Lemonaid. So refreshing. I will definitely be going back. The whole staff is inviting and warm. Love it.

this is my new favorite eat in the neighborhood. portions are huge the service is amazing. the food here is an incredible mix pastas and grilled meats! the owner here is so incredible and welcoming. always makes you feel like home when you are here! love this spot!

Novelli is a great addition to the neighborhood. We've been waiting for a fine modern dining place in or near Prospect/Lefferts for years. It's spacious with a separate dining area, bar and takeout counter for pizza, pastry and coffee. Service is incredibly friendly and fast, and excels with personal service by the bar tender and some interesting cocktail creations. They have a Neapolitan pizza oven and based on the yummy pita with butter served upfront make a very decent dough. Next time we'll try the pizza for sure. This time we went for appetizers and starters from the regular menu. The lemon hummus was a standout with a lovely addition of some mint leaves and the ability to replace the pita with vegetables for gluten free customers. The dishes are however on the pricy side. In particular the tuna tartare wasn't great. It seemed over-cured, turned slightly grey and tasted fishy - though the combination with kiwi for the curing is certainly a great idea. The seafood risotto could do with a couple more mussels or an addition of calamari. Aside from that it tasted good and the rice was cooked perfectly - but be aware that it is a bit salty.

I stopped by this weekend to check out their Middle Eastern and Italian fusion menu -- they have a wide variety, from pizzas and burgers to seafood dishes.The fattoush salad was super fresh with a bright, delicious lemon sumac vinaigrette - it is perfect for summertime as it's so refreshing! We also had the spinach artichoke pizza (super cheesy), cacio Pepe (yum), and the cheeseburger. They also have a great cocktail list, and the bartender can mix up whatever you're in the mood for.But whatever you do, definitely don't miss the tiramisu -- a unique blend of both cuisines that melts in your mouth. Honestly worth visiting for the dessert alone!!!

As far as the service goes excellent service, I stopped by because I had a taste for pizza and I wanted to give a local new pizza place a try. The undercarriage a little soft for me not really loving it. It could be more crunchy when I bite into the pizza, but the sauce is good. The cheese is good.

A+ restaurant! The ambiance has a classy and romantic feeling. The service was so friendly and accommodating. Great menu selections all around. My dish which was the prime rib was made with love and tasted so good! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

New customer here and the food was not great at all! We had a girl opened the door which was cute. The prices is not worth the food! They should have cut the bananas and the crepes were so small! The pizza was dry, did not have enough sauce. I also ordered the two different types of drinks and it was surgery. I spend $54 for bullshit!

Our two meals here have been very tasty and the staff is remarkably friendly and attentive. I've enjoyed the salmon, risotto, burrata salad and panna cotta most.

The chocolate trio waffle was delicious an so was the strawberry lemonade. Service was amazing. Lots of seating.

Absolutely loved this place! The salads were fresh, the risotto was perfectly cooked, and the panna cotta was incredibly delicious -- light, creamy, and full of flavor. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is so cozy that you just want to stay and relax for hours. Portions are a great size -- satisfying without being overwhelming. Can't wait to come back!

We had a Mother's Day dinner at Novelli last night and it was exceptional. This included two 5 year olds for 2 hours, but the staff was so good with them it was amazing! Nolan, Justin, and the rest of the staff are so friendly you feel at home right away. The food was excellent, as were some specialty drinks. It's only been open a couple of weeks, and it's a cozy place, not too large, so you need to try Novelli before it gets too crowded. I guarantee you will be pleased!
