The Best Breweries in San Diego | Eater San Diego

"Novo has been making waves in San Diego since the Carneiro family brought its Brazilian hospitality, beer culture, and top-selling kombucha stateside. The company started with its Chula Vista brewery (still operating today) and has now expanded to brewpubs in Otay Ranch, Ocean Beach, and most recently, Mission Valley. Try the company’s Brazilian-influenced cuisine: Empanadas, yucca fries, Coxinha (chicken croquette), Picanha (prime sirloin), and El Charro 14-ounce ribeye served with a baked potato." - Jackie Bryant

Where to Go Eat in Chula Vista | Eater San Diego

"Eastlake’s first ever craft brewery might have a relatively short history, but has upped the ante every step of the way. At their taproom, you can still find the crisp, Brazil-inspired lagers which put Novo Brazil on the map, along with their take on newer trends like sours and hazy IPAs. They have also launched a new line of hard kombucha and landed Tacos La Central as a full time food vendor on their front patio." - Mario A. Cortez

Always love the feeling of being able to indulge within the confines of where the product is made. I feel this place would have better volume if it was located closer to the beach or downtown. That being said, it was not overpopulated at lunch on Father's Day. Always curious everytime I've driven past there and the experience did not disappoint.

Try Tacos Al Vapor of Del Rey. The chef has a great attitude and the food is like you eat them in Tijuana, Mexico. No passport needed!!! :)

It's out in the boonies. Should be closer in. Also, they don't sell food at this location.
