Food was great. You never know when trying a place for the first time. I had the carne Asada burrito which was very hearty. The green chili chopped burger was not a traditional round shape but delicious bun style. The fries are home cooked and amazing. Service was friendly. Little small inside but low playing music and easily could have conversation. Prices are appropriate. Small hometown restaurant/owners give them a try.

I had the Caribbean stew beef plate, with added raw onions, a bottle of water and a Fever-Tree Ginger Beer. It was all very good. I would recommend trying this restaurant out. I think you will be pleased and satisfied. Also, I was driving an over the road truck with a sleeper berth ,pulling a 53ft. stationary spread axle flatbed trailer. It was on a Saturday, I had to use the dirt lot behind it to turn around in and park. Check it out on satellite view before driving over here.

We wanted a quick meal. The burgers we got were great and the Frys were popin. When I go back I’m gonna try all there hometown dishes, brother! My wife said just a touch spicy but I say you Get what you come for.

Really wanted to like this place and was looking forward to trying it after reading the reviews, unfortunately it was a big miss. We ordered the fries and fried fish plate that came with mac & cheese and collard greens. Everything tasted old, as if reheated but not even reheated properly. The fries were not hot or crisp, the fish was semi-soggy, and the mac & cheese was a block that was lukewarm and a bit dry. We ended up trashing most of the food even though we were really hungry. The workers there were friendly though, and were open and understanding to our criticism of the food. I'm glad others have had better experiences with the food.

The owner of the hotel I'm staying at leaves their menu in every room. Thats how much faith he has in it. He was not wrong. These ladies are talented. The beef plate caught my eye and I was not disappointed. Delicious melding of spices that I barely recognize, flavors so perfectly dancing together. The potato salad was also phenomenal. I'm so glad I had the chance to try it out, and i already plan on hitting it up for lunch on my way out of town.

The owner of south motel highly recommended this place to me and I am so happy. This place has the Best food on Route 66 in New Mexico. Very Friendly people. I highly recommend their Green chile chop cheese burger. It’s very tasty! Best burger I’ve had in a while… I will definitely be back.

Wow, wow, wow - excellent. So delicious. Wish I could have eaten more. So flavorful. Must hit spot. Outstanding food.

Really interesting menu, and the place smelled great. I wasn't super hungry so I got the empanadas: they were DELICIOUS. My husband had the smash burger and really enjoyed it, and he's SUPER picky! The service was great too: ladies that work there were really nice. Will definitely return next time we're heading through Grants.

Our first time here. We have been passing by waiting for this place to open. Finally, we made it and ordered. The Southern Fried Fish with mixed greens and baked Mac n cheese was excellent! We also ordered the Haitian BBQ Beef Shank with potato salad and buttered corn cob also a hit for us! We are eager to try other items on the menu in the near future. This is a nice change to limited food options here in Milan and Grants.

My husband and I are on a roadtrip from Colorado to Arizona. This restaurant didn't pop up on the initial search but I'm so happy I found it on yelp!! This unsuspecting, hidden gem is quaint & feels like a local mom and pop restaurant. My husband got the Haitian BBQ & I got the spaghetti & meatballs + side order of empanadas. When I tell you - both were incredible!! The woman at the counter was so helpful and kind - she made great suggestions. The meatballs were flavorful and the sauce was light. Not too heavy and the perfect amount of food. The bbq was tender & the potato salad was so good!! There were also some locals to the area that were incredibly grateful that a restaurant like this is in the area. I think it's a newer spot so If you're in this area and you're tired of eating fast food - this is your spot!!

The food was absolutely delicious! I had the smashed burger with fries. I highly recommend that you give them a try. The girls who waited on us were very caring and friendly.

WOW!!!! What an amazing GEM!! Soooooo delicious!! We got the Caribbean Stew, Indian Chickpeas, and the Empanadas (mouth watering!). Everything was amazingly fresh and perfectly seasoned! I firmly believe we could've ordered anything and it would have been as phenomenal. (We chose it because of all the amazing reviews on Google and wanted to make sure Yelpers knew about it, too. It really is SO good! And, to note, we ate here when we stopped to charge our electric car at Love's. We were able to bike there and cut through a neighborhood to avoid busy streets fairly easy to get to them without a car.) The gals who work there are the absolute kindest souls! 10/10!
