I've visited two times now and wanted to see if my first visit would be as pleasant as my first. It was and the second visit was Easter Sunday and the place was packed. The restaurant set up an area for pictures and there was even a visit from the Easter Bunny while we were there. The service was great as was the food! The place itself was really cute and comfortable. The brunch had a bunch of options including prime rib and made to order omelets. The brunch is only served on weekends but it's worth the wait! The bathroom isn't in the actual restaurant but it was still very clean and comfortable to use. I will be back with family and friends.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The food was delicious and beautiful presented. The meat was cooked to perfection. The staff was top notch. I loved the atmosphere, especially the decor and the big windows overlooking the park.

The location is very beautiful. As you walk in you are greeted by very modern dimly lit light fixtures and massive old wood beams and posts. There are very large windows that allow amazing people watching to see all the crazies in Mears Park. The place has a vary smokey armora of smoked meats. We went for brunch and the service was very laid back due to near shift change but Niki was very good. She was very friendly and bubbly and accomodating to our requests. We ordered an espresso and bubbly to start and the espresso was done right not like the junk you get at caribaeu or Starbucks. We started off with the benigne and they were amazing and cooked to perfection. The old cafe du monde use to do good benignes but it feels now that they do not taste the same it seems to be more about the mass quantities needed for the thousands of people who line up for a bag. The sauce was absolutely divine and the combination gave it all a buttery sweet taste that melted in your mouth. Next came the French toast and my crab cake Benedict Cajun style. Omg the French toast had a cinnamon flavor that was rich and the syrup had a slight mediteranian taste with diffrent types of spices that heightened the tastebuds. The Benedict had a fresh lemoney sauce and when you cut into it you got the crab with the Cajun seasoning that takes your breath away. The hashbrowns well lets talk about them. Places make them generally very mushy and greasy or very crispy on the outside to a gooey center. When you normally cut them is like cutting through ply wood or getting a cruch followed by an explosive mess of greasy sticky substances. The ones here were all crispy its like they have a team of elves frying each sliver of potatoes individually. They had fantastic flavour and nothing else needed to be added. All the food was well seasoned and nothing extra was needed to mask the flavor of bad food. The masterful presentation made it all look like a work of art making you want to look at it from all angles before moving closer. I plan on returning for dinner because if brunch is this good then dinner must be amazing too. I will make another trip this coming week or the next for dinner when I have time.

My friend made reservations for us last night after I talked her ear out about it and I was not disappointed. Jen, our server, was unforgettable. She was personable, knowledgeable and sweet. Since it was our first time at N&C — we trusted her recommendations and boy were we grateful. We got an appetizer, few entrees and dessert (see photos). Safe to say we will be returning to try other dishes on the menu and paying a visit to Jen (you rock)!

We went for our Anniversary. It was fantastic. The host, and the staff wished us well. They walked by and would say a quick congrats... Etc. It was nice. The wagyu New York Strip Steak and Prime Rib were excellent. The crab cake for the appetizer was delicious. I could have eaten several of those for supper also. We had to get dessert to go. Beignets. They are absolutely incredible. The portions are very a good size. It's a cool place they are in. They are right across from the park. They are wheelchair accessible as are the bathrooms. It was a great experience. We want to try brunch next.

The brunch experience was unparalleled in the cities. They had me at Prime Rib! Many options and expertly crafted dishes, including gluten-free choices. I am looking forward to returning soon.

Went in for Sunday brunch. The atmosphere was upscale while remaining inviting. Service was friendly and quick. And the food was stand out. I normally add a bit of salt and pepper on breakfast items, but here they were perfectly seasoned. I'm beyond excited to come back to try the steak. I recommend the delicate beignets, the watermelon cocktail, and the creole crab Benedict in particular!
