Honestly disappointing. I gave 3 stars because the service was good and the food came out quick and steaming hot. I was one of 4 people in there, though. Food is better than Dave's Hot chicken or whatever the place down the street is, not better than chick-fil-a. I got 2 tenders ($10) and a Mac and cheese ($6). I also tried a sample of their frozen custard, but did not end up ordering a sundae because it had the tiniest hint of spoiled taste. Just the tiniest hint, it could've even been just bitterness because it's custard not ice cream, but the taste wasn't it for me. I got a half iced tea half lemonade that must've been at least $4 even though it was a 16 oz cup that they filled 3/4 with ice and it probably had a total of 6oz liquid in it if that.
Ok, back to the food. The chicken came out steaming hot and it was moist in the loveliest way. Those were the good things. I ordered zero level spice. The batter was really salty and garlicky and almost all of it fell off the chicken as I cut it. So that was that. The Mac and cheese was sub par. Noodles were over cooked, cheese wasn't fully melted even though it was hot and bread crumbs were just that- bread crumbs- and more salt, no real seasonings. I spent $26 (granted I tipped $5 when I paid at the register) and it just wasn't amazing. Next time I'll probably just go to chick fil a.
