The 13 Best Restaurants For Lunch In Beverly Hills

"Between the selfie stick-toting tourists and rental Lamborghinis revving their engines, Rodeo Drive isn’t the first place that comes to mind when we think of a peaceful lunch. But then there’s Nua inside the Crescent Hotel, where you can collect yourself in a lush, quiet patio, sip an espresso martini, and break into a chewy, sesame-crusted Jerusalem bagel with someone who also needs a moment to themselves. Nua’s lunchtime menu is smaller than its brunch and dinner but still features many of the same homey Mediterranean staples, like warm falafel, schnitzel sandwiches on fluffy challah, and a garlic-heavy shakshuka with three sunny yolks poking through the tomato sauce. Nua Review - Beverly Hills - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Nua is an Israeli spot inside Beverly Hills’ Crescent Hotel that is very, well, Beverly Hills. But sometimes, a little extra flair is exactly what we’re looking for, and Nua’s food matches the setting. We love their gorgeous charred eggplant that’s roasted, peeled, and butterflied before getting topped with nutty tahini, oil, date syrup, and tangy tomato salsa. Their brunchtime shakshuka might not be as avant-garde as the dissected eggplant dish, but its bright red, slow-cooked tomato sauce is good enough for us. There’s a hint of heat but the garlic really shines through and we’re here for it. Besides the eggs also being perfectly cooked, we’re really big fans of the Jerusalem bagel–its sesame-coated crust and great chewiness make it ideal for dipping into runny yolks. Food Rundown Shakshuka The tomato sauce in this bubbling shakshuka is garlicky, a little tart, a bit spicy, and just the right texture to handle the poached eggs without looking like a can of tomato soup. The runny yolks are just a bonus that we love soaking up, especially with a chewy Jerusalem bagel. Jerusalem Bagel This ovular sesame bagel is chewy and perfect for tearing or dunking into shakshuka, hummus, or literally any other dippable dish on the menu. The labneh that comes with it is tangy and creamy, creating a delicious pairing that’s caused us to zone out at the table mid-story before. Charred Eggplant Besides being largely unrecognizable at first sight, this splayed eggplant is a must-try at Nua. But the toppings on this dish are what take it to a whole other level. The silky eggplant gets topped with tahini, date syrup, spring onion, and tomato salsa to create the perfect nutty/sweet/garlicky/crunchy bite. Hummus Masabacha There’s hummus, and then there’s this creamy, lemony spread that’s listed as a “shareable” on the menu, but we challenge that notion. The rich hummus is peppery and mildly smokey from a healthy drizzle of olive and a dash of cumin on top. The chickpea and parsley salad, plus the sliced hard-boiled egg, bring a lot of texture to this already delicious dip." - Sylvio Martins

The 20 Best Restaurants In Beverly Hills

"Getting brunch on Rodeo Drive usually means you’re in for an expensive (and pretty mediocre) dining experience, but Nua knows how to do it right. The Israeli spot inside the Crescent Hotel looks very, well, Beverly Hills: pop art portraits, plenty of chandeliers, and some gaudy wallpaper you’d find on a Real Housewives spin-off. Nothing about this place is subtle, but the simple, delicious shakshuka is why we come here. The tomato sauce is garlicky and not too spicy, the egg yolks are runny, and it comes with a chewy Jerusalem bagel for tearing and dipping. Nua also serves as a safe haven from the tourist hordes with a quiet outdoor patio and solid espresso martinis.  " - sylvio martins, arden shore, brant cox, jess basser sanders

The portions were really generous and everything tasted fresh and well-cooked. Our server (I didn’t get her name but she had tattoos) went above and beyond on every aspect possible! Price was also reasonable considering the location.

Lovely Mediterranean spot with a lush, plant-filled patio. Drinks were delicious, food was decent but well-presented. The standout was the freshly baked pita—warm, soft, and full of flavor.

This is like the Middle East and Paris combined. The food is incredibly delicious. Staff are very friendly and apologetic (great things take time) expect to wait. Chef’s kiss! The Arayes and Jerusalem bagel are the most memorable to me.

I wish that there were more options for brunch, specifically Mediterranean styled, but what we ordered was pretty good too. I recommend the meat dish the most. Lots of people coming from XiaoHongShu (Red Note) haha. The vibe is great for a date or family dinner. I might come again to try the dinner menu.

I drove from OC to Nua Restaurant to meet up with my high school friends, and it was by far one of the coziest spots in the heart of Beverly Hills. We may have been a little loud here and there, trying to catch up, but the atmosphere was perfect for it. Every single dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. shakshuka was the ultimate favorite , which came with the tastiest bagel ever. We were so deep in conversation that I forgot to ask whether the shakshuka was made in-house or from a specific brand, but either way, it was fantastic. I even brought half of my bagel home, and it was the first thing I finished as soon as I walked in the door. The staff was super nice and accommodating, letting us stay even longer than expected. Overall, an amazing experience—I’ll definitely be back!

As much as I love the food at Nua, I need to express my deep concern regarding their lack of care with takeout orders. The issue is not with the delivery service itself — it’s entirely with the restaurant, which does not seal the takeout bags. I even called the restaurant directly and politely asked them to ensure the bag was securely closed. Still, the order arrived completely open, leaving the food exposed and, frankly, unsafe to eat. I couldn’t bring myself to consume it — and ended up throwing the entire order away. That’s not just disappointing; it’s unacceptable, especially for a restaurant of this caliber. That being said, dining in at Nua is a completely different experience. The food is truly delicious, the space is beautiful, and the ambiance is exceptional. I would absolutely recommend visiting in person. But when it comes to takeout or delivery, be warned: the restaurant does not take the necessary precautions to protect your food. And in my case, it resulted in a total loss.

Such a good restaurant. it's always a pleasure. To stop by at the end of the day to grapes something to eat over there. Food is incredible! Very fun vibe. Not a lot of tables, though or parking but they have a valet and the design is comfortable. Highly recommended

Great food and service. All staff members were wonderful. Prices are on the higher side but not expensive with $15 cocktails, $25 specialty drinks, and $40 entrees. Also, there is very limited seating so on a busy night you may not be able to get a reservation when you want.
