The 11 Best Thai Restaurants In Houston - Houston - The Infatuation

"When you go to Nua Thai, having a game plan is best. The staff usually bounces from waiting tables to dealing with to-go orders, so be sure to know what you want when it’s your turn to order. Most people dining at the Midtown Thai restaurant are groups of friends catching up over bowls of tom yum soup or the occasional solo diner with their usual order. The food at Nua Thai is vibrant, no matter if you’re dining in or shoveling forkfuls of it from a styrofoam tray, so settle in with a slightly spicy papaya salad for lunch or slurp some drunken noodles to finish off a weekday. And whatever you do, save a little room for some spoonfuls of the pillowy-soft mango sticky rice." - chelsea thomas, gianni greene, julie takahashi

The 12 Best Wings In Houston - Houston - The Infatuation

"As delicious as they are when served hot at the table, we’re convinced that the wings at Nua Thai in Midtown would be just as good served cold. This might be because of the crispiness of the chicken, which has additional crunchy bits that look like they were hand-placed onto each wing. While the wings are big enough to be filling, their tender meat means they could theoretically be consumed in one clean bite by an experienced wing-eater. Plus the tangy sauce they’re served with ensures that no drop is left behind." - gianni greene

Google
5 stars Such a hidden gem in Downtown Houston! The place has a warm, cozy vibe that makes you feel right at home. The food was outstanding—packed with authentic flavors, served piping hot, and the portions were generous for the price. Service was quick and efficient, and the overall quality was top-notch. I had an amazing experience and will definitely be coming back. The only slight downside is the parking lot—it’s a bit tight and can get busy with a constant flow of pickup orders. But honestly, the food and experience more than make up for it!

Google
Would’ve given the place a 5 if the rice had flavor but it lacked that unless you want it spicy which I don’t think is fair to the purple who don’t eat spicy. Also very stingy with the shrimp. The pad Thai my boyfriend got was good thou! Oh - way over priced though. Spent $49 for our two plates and eggrolls. Probably wouldn’t return based off the price alone.

The food was good, no complaints there! However, the service could use some improvement. Only one fork wrapped in a napkin was provided—no extra fork, knife, or spoon or napkins—which made it difficult to enjoy the meal properly. When the fried rice was served, it didn’t come with a serving spoon. I also asked for an extra plate, and the server gave us a look before handing over a very small plate that wasn’t suitable for eating.

I ordered the calamari and chicken wings via Uber Eats. As you can expect the calamari did not travel well. It was watery, greasy and half soggy by the time it got to me but the flavor was good! The chicken wings were ok. The sauce that comes with is very tasty! I’ll go back again, but not through a food delivery service.

Google
smells good when you enter. you sit wherever you want. tulip dumplings didn’t have much flavor on their own but the sauce that was served with them was super good! wish they were a little bigger. loved their yellow curry. best i’ve had tbh. lychee tea was delicious. their thai coffee was amazing.

This place looks cute inside and parking is available. We went for my cousin’s birthday and the Basil Fried Rice and Summer rolls were great and Kao Soi and Roti were okay. There was a hair in my white rice which was really noticeable and I was annoyed because the waitress asked so many questions every few minutes but didn’t see the hair on the white rice? I asked her for chilli oil and Mango Sticky Rice too and she never brought either of those things. I think she was new which is fine, but it was inconvenient because of the fact that we were there for a birthday.

This was my first time trying this restaurant and the vibes were immaculate, customer service 100/10, the food was great, perfect portions, just a beautiful place with the right atmosphere to go eat with friends. I had the crab fried rice and it was sooo good! I’m excited to go back to try more stuff

Google
It’s a small restaurant with a fresh look. It’s my first time year so I decided to try the classics. 1. Tom Yum Soup: It was sweet and tart and flavorful. While it was a little too sweet, I still enjoyed it. The flavors were right for what a Tom Yum soup should taste like. 2. Drunken noodle flavors were decent. Portions were generous. While it’s not my favorite version it was still good. Had it with shrimp which was cooked right: juicy and plump. Overall I’d come back to try more dishes.

Yelp
i have been dying to have a good khao soi in houston ever since i tried it for the first time in new york recently. i had one at another spot in town and it was just fine. but the khao soi at nua thai was absolutely phenomenal! the broth was just insane. so much flavor and spices and deliciousness. i also asked them to make it a little less spicy because it had a few chili symbols next to it on the menu lol and it was great. not too spicy, but just enough to add a good amount of flavor (and clear your sinuses). we also had the crab/cheese rangoons to start and they were super yummy and piping hot. my boyfriend had the kua kai (noodles with chicken and calamari) and he loved it. they have a rewards program here (yay!) so i can't wait to come back!!!

Yelp
Came here for an early Sunday dinner. They have a small parking lot, and while the dining room wasn't too busy, there was a steady flow of to-go orders throughout our meal. We ordered the Tiger Cry, Pad Kee Mao, and the whole tilapia. The Tiger Cry was hands-down the best dish of the night. Even though it was cooked medium well, it was still incredibly tender and juicy. You could really taste the char and a bit of that subtle fattiness--so good. The Pad Kee Mao hit the spot too. It had that savory flavor you expect, and I appreciated how generously it was loaded with egg. Unfortunately, the whole tilapia was a major letdown--especially since it was listed as one of their specials. The menu and photo described it as being topped with a "triple flavor sauce," but there was no sauce (or flavor) to be found. Instead of the light batter we expected, it came heavily fried and bland. We subbed the white rice for plain fried rice, and honestly, the fried rice was great--simple and flavorful. Service was off. After taking our order, our server stood at our table staring at her handheld for an awkwardly long time until we finally asked if everything was okay with the order. She just said "yeah" and walked off. When we told a different staff member about the fish, he responded with, "I'm glad you enjoyed the fish," which left us confused--was he listening? We also had to walk up to the counter to ask for a bag for our leftovers. Overall, the food was a mix of highs and lows, but the service was definitely a miss. I'll probably stick to ordering the Tiger Cry to-go next time I'm craving it.

Yelp
This is (currently) my favorite spot in town for thai food! It's got a really cute dine-in area that is pretty comfortable. I enjoy dining in when I have the time. Everyone here is super friendly and i've struck conversation with staff here on a lot of different occasions, they're super easy and fun to talk with. I stick to what I like here, they do an amazing pad thai and their mango sticky rice is a muuuuust try (although portion for the sticky rice is smaller from what I remember). Give this place a try!

Yelp
I ordered the Drunken Noodles 4/5 spicy level with chicken tonight. This was my first time ordering this popular Thai dish from this cafe and very first non-curry entree I've had here too. I requested the meal to be lighter on oil, which it seemed to be and still juicy in every way. Very delicious, aromatic, moist, tender, fresh, full of chicken, veggies and flat noodles. This was the best drunken noodles I ever had along with the ones from Thai Gourmet & Thai Garden when they were around. The flavor profile was savory with a gingery, cumin type of curry zing to it. The spice level was spot-on adding good heat without covering up the rest or being too hot. The chicken, veggies and noodles were all cooked thoroughly with no flaws and no chewiness. I need to also try their fried rice and a dessert on future dine-in visits. The food has been excellent. The service was good.

Yelp
My friend and I went during a deal and they had an appetizer plus main dish for $15! Appetizers- Their crab cheese cream puff was crispy on the outside, but the inside was a little disappointing. The filling was cold and tasted a little like plain cheese. The chili oil wontons were a little lackluster as well. Main courses- I thought the flavor of the pad thai was a good, a little tangy and a hint of sweetness but the noodles were broken and a little clumpy. The spice level I feel was also a little underwhelming. But, the other noodles my friend got were very flavorful and the texture was a lot better. Drinks- We got the thai green tea and I thought it was good, but a little overpriced. It tasted a little watered down and I wish the tea flavor was stronger. We went during lunch and it was half full. Ordering was fast but our food took a while to come out. Their parking lot is pretty small and fills up so I would suggest carpooling if possible to avoid having to park elsewhere and walk. They do have a wide variety of seating options and a large interior though!

Yelp
When we walked in it was slightly busy for the lunch crowd. I have never been here before and I'm glad we found parking as there is not a lot of parking but at least there is parking in mid town for a small restaurant on Louisiana street. The staff was very friendly and the place seemed very clean. I ordered the Thai papaya salad and the crab fried rice. I was very pleased.

Yelp
Whoaaaaaaaaa! The food is F'N great! Everything was delicious! The service was amazing too! And it's really cute in here. I'm so happy we came here like DELICOUS!

Yelp
Great drunken noodles! Service is a little slow during rush hours but staff is nice and attentive.

Yelp
NUA Thai is a fairly young establishment (established 2020). It is a medium sized restaurant with many two to four seaters. The restaurant is clean and has very simple decoration. I had the tofu pad woon sen while my partner got the crispy chicken fried rice. The portions were generous and the food were flavorful. Service was great, and staff were friendly. The only downside is the tiny parking lot in front of the restaurant. I would avoid going during peak hours.

Yelp
Man, this was a GREAT place to come check out. Some friends and I came by here for a Houston Restaurant Weeks lunch, and to say we were impressed would be an understatement. The place is in an awkward part of midtown, near areas known for being rough, but still manages to maintain a nice, quiet interior that's well decorated. When we arrived, we were one of only two tables seated, which meant service was very attentive. The meal we had was four courses (including a tea) for $25, which was an outstanding deal. For the first round, most of us went with the tulip dumplings, which came out hot, freshly steamed, and with the perfect amount of sauce. For the second round, several of us went with different soup options. My Tom Kha soup was spectacular, but my wife wasn't enjoying her Tom Yum soup, so we ended up swapping. My soup was definitely the better of the two. Of the main courses, the basil fried rice was probably the biggest hit. My wife wouldn't stop raving about just how delicious it was. The entire dish was fragrant, like it had been bathed in flower essence before coming out, and tasted absolutely delicious. Of course, the teas were excellent too. I went with a traditional Thai Tea while my wife went with the Thai Green Tea. Apparently the Thai Green Tea was so good that the two people who ordered it got refills at additional expense, so it must have been very good. We'll definitely be coming back here again!

Yelp
Very flavorful food and fresh ingredients. Really enjoyed the drunken noodle and red thai curry. Portions are generous and prices are fair. Highly recommend if you are in the area and in the mood for thai! Service is great, and the ambience is casual. This place is Let's Eat Houston approved

Yelp
The pad Thai with spicy level seasoning was delicious. It is some of the best pad Thai I have had. I got chicken and added shrimp for an extra $4. The serving size was huge definitely enough for two people. Crab cream cheese rolls were good not great. I think a different sauce would elevate these. Overall this was a really good find and I would give it a 4.5. I will definitely be visiting again.

Yelp
Thank you HRW 2024 for putting this on my radar. Or shall I say kup khun mak mak, ka! The crab fried rice was perfectly made. The right amount of Thai-ness and the lump crab meat exceeded this Thai palate. I loved the papaya salad too. Refreshing and light, if I ate this instead of tacos, my waistline would have me shopping at Baby Gap. But who am I kidding, pass me that decadent mango sticky rice before I stab you with this edible orchid. I take no stars off this perfect restaurant. Maybe 1 invisible star for limited free parking spots, but after that crab fried rice hits your mouth, you'll shut it just as fast. I will make the drive and park in the lot across from CVS anytime. Fr Fr on God, this place be bussin'

Yelp
I ordered the mango sticky rice and it was perfect . The mango was ripe and the rice was delicious and warm . So good. Will be ordering until the day I leave to go home

Yelp
We went here for Houston Restaurant Weeks 2024 and had an amazing time. There is a very limited parking lot, but this is to be expected for downtown. We ordered a HUGE spread for 3 people. Course 1: Summer Rolls, Tulip Dumplings, Crispy Spring Rolls. All of these were very solid basics. Course 2: Tom Kha, Thai Papaya Salad, and Tom Yum Soup - which was probably my favorite. It was so flavorful! Course 3: Pad Thai, Basil Fried Rice, Pad Kee Mao. I loved the flat noodles in the Pad Kee Mao, they had the perfect texture. The dishes were good. Honorable mention: Green Thai Tea. So so so good, I would highly recommend ordering this drink! Overall we had a great time at NUA Thai. It's a casual restaurant perfect for catching up with friends. And shoutout to our server, Luis. He was fantastic!

Yelp
Let me begin with saying that when you come here you will have to fight for a parking spot and it is worth it. My partner and I had to circle the block about three times until we could find a spot and we would do it again for the food. We came twice in a week because the pad see ew and red curry are phenomenal. The staff give great service albeit a little slow but we're all human. I highly recommend everyone try NUA Thai!
google avatar

Yelp
If you're about the food, this is spot on. And I was shocked that as good as everything was, the desserts were the standouts. Never expect roti and ice cream to pair so beautifully. But ambience? There was a family with a kid behind us, IPad at full volume. Smallish space and the food took awhile (I suspect they were understaffed in the back). But the service was attentive and the food made it all worth it.

Yelp
I was asked out on a date which he chose this establishment. Now, I passed this place by several times and always seen how pack it would be. He did great choosing this establishment bc the food phenomenal. Remind you, this was my first time trying an Thai restaurant. I ordered the Thai pad and my date ordered the crab fried rice. The food came out in a timely manner. Everything was fresh and the serving size was huge. We did visited during Houston restaurant week but we opt and ordered off the original menu.

Yelp
I was hungry and was craving some Thai food but didn't feel like dining in so I decided to order from a nearby restaurant. My food arrived hot which always is a plus. Let's start off with the crab cream cheese puffs. They were delicious but not enough crab. I ordered mild spice on both of my entree orders and there was still a kick. The wonton soup was flavorless and the dumplings were doughy and had a weird taste. This was my least favorite part of the order. It was my first time having drunken noodles and it was good but just not my cup of tea. The fried rice however was delicious!!!!!! Perfect amount of spice and the fish chili sauce was the perfect companion. The fried chicken on the rice was also good. Seasoned well. Overall. I enjoyed my food and definitely will be paying an in person visit soon.

Yelp
I loved this place. We haven't been here in a while. We went here last Saturday and for dinner. They changed their tables and decor a little. Looks nice and more seating. Service was great. Our server was quick, kind and on top of it. We ordered: *Crispy Chicken Skins 9/10 still fire Crispy Calamari 4/10 good but I was disappointed by the portion. They also used onions as fillers to make it seem like it's more. They didn't do this before. For the price, it should definitely be worth it. *Chicken Pad Thai (Bean Sprouts on the side) 6/10. It didn't hit like before. Could be different cook, but it tasted different than what it used to taste like. *crab fried rice (no onions, no tomatoes) 6/10. The crab was on the fishy side this time. I feel like their portions became less than last year. *PANANG Curry (Beef) spicy-- 6/10 flavors are still delicious, beef portion wasn't a good amount. Drowned in sauce and veggies. *Crispy Duck 7/10 still good I really used to love this place, but this last experience had me a little disappointed about them not keeping the same consistency as last year. I hope that they work on bringing back the quality this place had, compared to our last time here. I'd still go back and give them a try again.
google avatar

Yelp
I tried the salmon green curry here, and it was delicious! The salmon was cooked perfectly and was very tender. The green curry has a slightly sweet coconut flavor which complemented the fish. The brown rice was cooked well. I got take out so can't speak to the dine in service, but the food was ready in a reasonable time. The ambiance is casual.

Yelp
10/10 for everything. Not over exaggerating. The food, the service, 5 stars! The inside of the restaurant was minimal but warm and inviting. Food as follows: Chicken lettuce wraps - My mom ordered this and she said 10/10. The chicken had flavor whereas most places, the chicken has no flavor. The veggies were fresh and crisp. The the sauces were good but you didn't actually need them because the chicken has so much flavor. Kua Kai - My dad had this and he said 10/10. All he said is FLAVOR. So much flavor. XD He couldn't stop eating and was rather upset when he got full because he said it was so flavorful. He WANTED to keep eating it. Khao Soi Kai - I had this and again 10/10! I liked this version with the fried shallots instead of fresh red onion but that doesn't mean I don't like that version either. I just prefer this one. And the chili oil! Dear lord that was good. I found out the owner makes it and is the only one that can make it correctly. They have another location, Osha Thai, over in the new 99 Ranch strip center on Westheimer just across the street from Phoenecia. I'm so glad we decided on here for lunch. Please check this place out.

Yelp
Some classmates spontaneously organized a dinner at NUA Thai in midtown. I got the kua kai, one of the more unique noodle dishes. It is hand cut flat noodles cooked with chicken, calamari, green onion, egg, green leaf, and served with a spicy sauce. The chicken and calamari were tender and the noodles soaked up the gravy like sauce well. The spicy sauce is like chili sauce at the top and sriracha at the bottom, so it wasn't spicy at first, but it paired perfectly well with the calamari. I also tried their chicken satay, which is marinated with Thai herb and curry powder and brushed with coconut cream. It came with a peanut sauce and a cucumber salad sauce that is very vinegary and almost fish sauce like. The chicken was very moist, well seasoned, and I liked dipping it in the peanut sauce specifically. Very solid Thai spot, just try to avoid coming at peak hours because the parking lot is very small
google avatar

Laura A.

Yelp
Too salty! Good lord the Spicy basil beef sauce tasted like it was pure soy sauce thickened with corn starch. Gross. Fortunately the green beans were ok so I could something!
google avatar

Yelp
HRW introduced me to this place and then I came back twice after that experience. And each time, it's been just as incredible as the first. TLDR: crab fried rice is probably the best you will get inside the loop. Green tea is in a bag and not made from loose leaf. Make sure you order mango sticky rice when it's season because it is amazing! I had the Thai papaya salad all three times with all the different levels of hotness that they offer and although it was spicy at the spiciest setting, it was still so flavorful and enjoyable! The chicken satay is so good, especially with the peanut sauce. The pad kee mao with the beef. Perfect balance of flavors. The tom yum soup with shrimp! It is probably my second favorite dish after the crab fried rice. The crab fried rice has the best rice to vegetable to crab ratio. Like every single bite is extremely flavorful. The first time I got the lab kai. I have tried this at so many restaurants and have never cared for it but the basil flavor + the cook on the chicken has made me such a convert. Tried the yellow curry with the chicken one time and it was phenomenal. And the last time I went I tried the fried chicken fried rice. The sweet and sour-ish sauce that comes with the rice is so good! The Thai teas are incredible. I didn't know that they offered green Thai tea but my friend got that and it looked so good! I can't wait to go back and try that. I ordered some food to go a few days ago and the way the food was packaged was so good that the bag was completely dry (no spills at all!). I think this place gets the Thai flavors with the right price tag. Literally dreaming of going back and trying the rest of the dishes.

Yelp
I came here once with my best friend under his recommendation. This was some of the best Thai food I have had! We ordered the normal egg rolls and they were delicious!! I ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken, broccoli, and carrots. I normally hate when the noodles of this dish are stuck together or too heavy, but NUA's Pad See Ew was so TASTY. The noodles were perfectly cooked, as well as the vegetables. My best friend enjoyed his dish as well, I forgot the name of it. The inside is clean and decorated aesthetically. UberEats Review: I used to order Thai takeout mostly from Rim Tanon, but they can never get "no egg" or the spice level correct. I have now started ordering from NUA Thai only, and we have only had great experiences. The food comes warm, perfectly cooked, and delicious! We will continue ordering takeout from NUA Thai only.
google avatar

Ryan B.

Yelp
Really good. We tried a variety of foods and liked it all. Takeout was ready when they said it would be. I would happily return and get more drunken noodles, Penang curry, and Thai ice tea.

Yelp
Customer service is nice. Ordered twice here. First time via a food delivery service and second time curbside to go. Tried this restaurant after ordering via Door Dash I think at my cousin's house. She ordered the pad Thai, her husband ordered the Hainanese chicken and I had the drunken noodles, roti canai, and chicken wings. We always order a lot and share. I enjoyed their pad Thai and Hainanese chicken dishes more than my drunken noodles and my roti canai. If you're looking for good drunken noodles I recommend Zapvor. When I ordered a second time more recently I placed the order through their website and selected option for curbside delivery. I feel it's best to order through their website when I tried to order through one of the meal delivery services it only allowed me to remove one item from pad Thai whereas on the website I could remove multiple items. For pad Thai I like to remove bean sprouts and peanuts. I love their options for spice. I also ordered their Hainanese chicken because I really enjoyed trying this dish when I was at my cousin's house. And it comes with an amazing ginger sauce. Make sure you ask for an extra container since it only comes with one. Trust me it's that good! Roti canai is also delicious! Served with potatoes in a curry sauce. Why the four stars the beef is overcooked. I didn't enjoy the pad Thai ordering it with my recent order. In addition to the overcooked beef the noodles were also overcooked in my opinion. If you're looking for great pad thai I recommend Thai Town in Sugar Land or Kin Dee Thai.

Yelp
Thai downtown Houston, TX Had druncken noodles with beef, spicy. It was well seasoned with a lots of tender sliced beef, my colleague's shrimp pad thai was also tasty. The free appetizer, vegetable spring roll was good.

Yelp
Food: 10/10, Service: 10/10, Atmosphere: 8.5/10 Nia Thai is currently my favorite Thai restaurant in Houston. I haven't had a single item that I didn't like and the best part is that MOST of their meals can be made Vegan. My go-tos are: Brussel sprouts (has honey) Massaman Curry with Tofu Vegan Garlic Pepper with Tofu Vegan Spicy Basil with Tofu Vegan Pad Kee Mao with Tofu Vegan 10/10 recommend!!
google avatar

Claudia F.

Yelp
This place was highly recommended by family members. I ordered the brussel sprouts, yellow curry and mango tea. This mango tea!!! It's a must! It's so refreshing and the mango taste is there, you know how sometimes you order flavored tea and it's just tea. Not this one, it's soooo good! I truly enjoyed it, I even ordered one to go. The yellow chicken curry was also very well flavored. All of my food was medium hot. I could have gone up one for levee of spice on the curry. Overall the portion is good enough for two people. I took most of it home because I could not stop eating the Brussel sprouts. The waiter Khoa was very friendly and checked on me several times while I dined in. He was very buttoning back and forth because there was a large amount of people picking up their orders. The place is very clean and spaced out. The only issue I had was parking. But that's to be expected on this side of town. My overall experience was great. Will definitely be coming back to try more of their food.
google avatar

Kathy V.

Yelp
The food was delicious. The Green Curry was very balanced and not too sweet or bland like other Thai restaurants that I had before. 8.5/10 The Thai Tea was tasty with the right amount of sweetness, leaving me wanting more. I wish they had unlimited refills or refills for $1 or so for the cup it was in. 9/10 The Crispy Fried Chicken was good as well. The tamarind sauce was kept on the side, so it allowed the chicken to remain crispy for over 10 minutes while I finished my green curry. 9/10 Service was great for the lunch rush. The waiter was very attentive and made sure my cup was always full with water without me having to ask. I don't remember if they had music playing in the background or not, but the volume in the restaurant was great. No one had to talk over anybody to hear. Advice: If you come in for lunch, make sure you come within the 1st hour it open or free parking in their small lot will be packed.

Yelp
Pretty casual but clean vibe inside. Service was quick and food came out at a decent pace. I got the Pad Thai and could choose spice level from mild, medium, hot, and Thai hot. I went for medium and enjoyed the flavors - not too spicy. Mild is basically choosing no spice. Overall, price vs quality and portion pretty spot on. Def would recommend!

Yelp
Customer Service: I was greeted warmly upon entering. Despite being a bit shorthanded, the staff did an excellent job keeping up. Vegetable Crispy Spring Roll These spring rolls came out fresh and hot. However, they were a bit disappointing. While they had a nice crunch on the exterior, the filling was mushy and lacked flavor. I prefer my spring rolls crispy with a crunchier veggie-filled interior. Rating: 2/5 stars Tom Kha with Fried Tofu This soup is perfection! The balance between lime and coconut flavors is impeccable. Everything in the soup tasted incredibly fresh. I ordered it without onions and at a level 3 spice. To me, it wasn't very spicy, but spice levels are subjective, so adjust to your preference. Rating: 5/5 stars Panang Curry with Fried Tofu Bursting with flavor, this curry has a perfect silky texture and an even more impressive blend of curry and coconut flavors. I ordered it at level 3 spice, which was spicier than the Tom Kha but still manageable. It is served with your choice of jasmine, fried, or brown rice and the bowl is packed with veggies (broccoli, baby corn, carrots, and cabbage) and fried tofu. You can order your choice of protein. This dish will definitely fill you up! Rating: 5/5 stars I've ordered these dishes for delivery twice and found them just as delicious as dining in. If you prefer staying in, their delivery service won't disappoint. #HTownFoodie #HoustonEats #ThaiCuisine #FoodReview #TomKha #PanangCurry #FoodLovers #VegetarianEats #HoustonFoodies #FoodieLife #SupportLocal #FoodDelivery

Yelp
Came here with my little family for lunch and we had a great experience. We were greeted and well taken care of. Most people ordered for takeout, so it felt like we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Everyone enjoyed the food including my sometimes picky eater toddler. My husband had the Pad Kee Mao with chicken and tofu. I had the wonderful Crispy Chicken Fried Rice. The chicken was so crispy and flavorful. The portion was enough for 2! The Mango Sticky Rice was delicious and not too sweet. My Thai Coffee also complemented the meal.

Yelp
We stumbled upon NUA and I am so glad we did! Very tasty and flavorful dishes. I really enjoyed my cashew chicken! My friend's pad see ew was very good as well. The restaurant is clean and well kept. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Yelp
DELICIOUS thai cuisine. Had the pad see ew and yellow curry. They were both rated a 2 of 4 spice level but weren't spicy at all. The Mango Sticky Rice was so good, would definitely get again.

Yelp
Great , no frills Thai. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. The parking lot is small so park across the street.

Yelp
Good food! We like the Thai papaya salad. The changed the menu and the fried fish isn't our fave anymore. It's good but we've found better whole fried fish elsewhere. Staff is nice and attentive. Parking is very limited and often taken by people getting takeout

Yelp
This place has amazing flavorful Thai food and the crispy chicken fried rice is cooked perfectly, the chicken crispy outside and juicy inside, plus I've never had tomato and cucumber in my fried rice before. The service was impressively good and I will continue to make this restaurant a weekly trip. It has a nice decor but it is small as well as the parking lot.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick lunch. The staff was friendly and the food was filling. Overall a good experience though not particularly noteworthy for me. I don't expect to come back as there are other Thai places that suit my preferences more. Parking: They do have a small lot in front. It was almost completely full when I came at about 2pm. I was able to grab the last spot. The lot is small and narrow (at least for me). There is handicap parking Staff: The staff were polite and greeted you when you came in. That being said, there was some awkwardness - I walked in and it wasn't clear if I should seat myself or wait. Also, one of the staff commented on the amount of food I ordered in jest - it didn't bother me but I know someone probably would not have appreciated it Food: They have most things other Thai places have. The Thai tea was delicious! Their plain water tasted like tap water. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls and was very surprised at how large the order was ! Unfortunately they were pretty bland. They did bring a complimentary soup of some kind which was a nice touch and it was tasty. Probably my favorite food item actually ! I also ordered the green curry with tofu. It was good but not overly exciting. I thought it was cute that the rice was heart shaped though and did appreciate the tiny egg roll that came with it. Space/seating: The decor/space is pretty plain and wasn't noteworthy to me. There were 2 top and 4 top tables. I sat myself at a 2 top which turned out to be right under a speaker that was extremely loud !

Yelp
Service was fast and easy! I ordered takeout. They were ready within 30 minutes. The shop is nice! It is located downtown close to other locations. I ordered the green curry and it was very tasty! It's always a classic. Price was also good!

Yelp
The pad thai has been consistently good but what really makes my mouth water are the crab cream cheese rolls. Their menu has plenty of options but is not overwhelmingly extensive, I'll definitely be back to explore some other options. I haven't had the pleasure of sitting down inside to enjoy a meal but they've been a great takeout option. The parking lot is a bit small so it may be difficult to find a spot during peak hours but from what I've seen is that there's ample seating inside.

Yelp
I have been a few times but only for takeout & get the shrimp pad thai & a side of roti each time. Today, I decided to dine in around lunchtime and got the same thing. It comes with a veggie spring roll which was lukewarm inside and nothing special. Took one bite and decided it's not worth the extra calories. The shrimp pad thai portion is pretty reasonable. I get it spicy, which is the level below thai spicy, and add sriracha (clearly I love quality time in the bathroom ) It is one of the best pad thais I've had in the area and I've tried quite a few. The noodles are not dry like some I've had but not too drenched--ideal ratio imo. The roti is also pretty good. Service was pretty good, def more of a casual vibe. Parking can be tricky depending on the time you go. My only suggestion is to offer a lunch portion option.

Yelp
Came here for lunch and it was an amazing deal during restaurant week 15$ lunch w appetizer and entree. Got the Thai chicken wings which had an amazing sauce w a great kick. The tulip dumplings were very similar to siu mai and the tom kha was delicious. The kao sui (curry egg noodles) is on the sweeter end but delicious nonetheless. I did wish it had more of a kick and that it was spicier. We also got the medium spicy red curry and it was not spicy at all. Curry itself is on the thinner end but still good flavor. Ambiance is very casual and you sit yourself wherever there is space. Would be back!

Yelp
Hidden gem! I pass by this place all the time and finally stopped in after church.. parking isn't big but there's streets parking. We were able to park on their parking and it was packed on a Sunday around 1:30 pm the Thai tea was one of the best I have ever had. We had crispy chicken fried rice YUM! We had the garlic beef as well and so delicious! So much flavor!!! The portion are such a great size too. Took home plenty of leftovers. It was my birthday so I ordered the mango dessert. Dreaming about it! Will be a repeat customer Great service' and quiet ambiance

Yelp
Fresh and delicious food. Very nice service and cozy inside. Music has been very nice and calming for a quick lunch. The pad Thai was extremely flavorful and highly recommended. The red curry was also a good choice. I recommend this place and will be back!

Yelp
With so many excellent reviews I had high expectations for this restaurant. To say the least, they exceeded them in every area. The parking lot with direct access to the restaurant has limited parking. However, there is alternate parking across the street and behind the restaurant (for a fee) The restaurant itself has a great space for large or small parties. I visited earlier in the day and it was relatively quiet so I was able to enjoy the music. I ordered more than pictured but I took it to go. Everything ordered was extremely fresh. For starters, the Tulip dumplings were awesome. The vinaigrette accompanied with them complimented it very well. Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious I'm not even sure how to describe it. It was also my first time trying "mango sticky rice" and judging by the name I was unsure if it went well together but it's one of the best desserts I've ever had. Everything I ordered had a medium spice level, I like spicy, and it was bearable. A little kick back while still being enjoyable. The panang curry, fried rice and Shiracha wings were all 10/10. The service made the experience run smoothly. This is a wonderful establishment. I will be back soon!
