"Thierry Theys’ cuisine is the pinnacle of “nuanced”. Despite his youth, he has already made a name for himself on the Belgian fine dining scene and owes his reputation to highly individual recipes. Right from the first bite, he unveils his high-flying precision and technical craftsmanship. Not afraid of challenges, each dish is rich in emotion. For example, he may prepare North Sea crab with finger lime, avocado and a subtle sweet-sour flavoured stem lettuce. He may enhance suckling veal, simply grilled, with a barigoule sauce and a gravy jazzed up by kimchi. This chef knows how to nurture and draw out the distinctive character and tiniest details of outstanding ingredients. Suave, delicate food that suits our modern tastebuds. The mind-blowing experience is further enhanced by a fantastic selection of wines, available by the glass, a decadent range of sweet titbits served with coffee and super slick service. A stylish interior, fantastic wine cellar and marble details set the scene in this exceptional establishment on a permanent quest for excellence." - Michelin Inspector

Cozy environment. Good food. The waiter was nice although seemed to be in a constant rush. They also told us we could sit in two very specific seats, so we assumed it was all booked out. The restaurant ended up being nowhere near full the whole time. They were trying out a new dessert menu and especially one was quite bad. The main courses were delicious though. Overall would recommend, but try to get a good seat as the one towards the back is in a really awkward space.

Lovely lively atmosphere, spoilt by one very impatient waiter. Food was mixed. Delicious ceviche and Lebanese dips but other veggie choices disappointing. Tapioca was a strange chewy texture in feta fritters and ‘sandwich’ definitely needed the few blobs of sauces surrounding the plate to add flavour. Shame this hot dish was served before the cold one but perhaps our fault since there was some confusion due to lack of availability of dishes on a la carte menu. As other reviews note the table at the very back of the restaurant, nestled between the fridge, door to freezer and WC corridor really should not be used. I hesitate to complain since I see the previous response to unhappy diners has been ‘it’s planned in advance’ but having booked several weeks in advance and arriving early when half the tables were free, we were given no choice. Definitely a first in many years of dining out and working in hospitality!

We really enjoyed the food and the cozy atmosphere, especially sitting outside by the street. The flavors were new and interesting, and the service was excellent. Our favorite dish was the slow-cooked beef with red kale and vegan mayo, and the fruit dessert was a perfect finish! I mentioned my food allergy, and both the servers and kitchen staff were very attentive, respectful, and clear about the adjustments they made – which I really appreciated. Highly recommend this place. Thank you!

Possibly just a bad experience, we were seated outside and lacked any real service. We did the set menu, the food was good but portions were small even considered for fine dining or anything somewhat upscale. We went with the set wine pairing but due to lack of service only received 2 out of the 3 drinks by the time we finished dessert, approx 2hrs whole service. We asked for bread twice and nothing ever came. We received our entrees which were tasty but with no small plates so we had to use our serviettes as plates until they released when clearing our table. Unfortunate as the meals were tasty yet small, and the vibe of the restaurant was very nice, staff were kind and friendly just not very attentitive

Superb meal! We shared 2 platesof the day. A duck taco - amazing complex flavors, and the fish dish - also fabulous. Staff were friendly and helpful. A fabulous lunch. Merci beaucoup

Absolutely fabulous lunch! We had the 5 course tasting menu and each course delivered interesting blends of flavour and spices and textures. Everything from start to finish was delicious! Our server was friendly, courteous and attentive. The atmosphere is nothing special, but it just made for a laidback comfortable vibe. Nothing pretentious, but exceptional food and service! They even played great music- the blues!! Loved our experience there!!! 5 Stars!

Nice restaurant, really nice staff, but the waiter informed us the food on the menu was big enough to share. So we took the spring rolls (14€) as a starter to share and we received ONE bite size spring roll, smallest I’ve ever seen. We then took a pita with beef, which was pretty good but nothing exceptional, and they served us ONE pita bread cut into four for the price of 18€ … (Images on Google reviews show the same plate we ordered with a tone of pita bread and bear which we did not receive, the quantity of the plates were tiny !) For this price we expected to be seated in a nice place, but instead we were seated near the wine fridge (that made noise) at the far end of the restaurant near the toilets. We were still hungry but didn’t want to spend further. Too expensive !

Love the place and the service was excellent and very friendly and helpful. The food was very good but considering the other reviews, I suppose my expectations were somewhat higher (also at this price bracket). For instance the fried tamago, while nice, could have been almost anything else deep fried as the tamago flavour did not stand out at all. But the sauce that it was in was very good. We also had the beef tartare, boric ham, and trout. All quite nice but nothing that particularly stood out to warrant me being desperate to go back there!
