A Las Vegas Powerhouse Duo Goes Off-Strip With Nudo Italiano | Eater Vegas

"Opening in late May in Southern Highlands, this relaxed suburban Italian from the Morton Group is led by William DeMarco (the culinary director behind the group's Strip outlets) and emphasizes handmade pasta, house-baked breads and Neapolitan-style pizzas fired in a traditional wood-burning oven — highlighted by a diavola topped with mozzarella, spicy sopressata and Calabrian chili. The menu leans on classic Italian comfort: crispy calamari with lemon aioli, a heaping pappardelle in veal ragu finished with sheep’s milk ricotta, and pan-roasted branzino over eggplant purée. The dining room is cozy with a bar and outdoor patio, trading Strip-side sheen and sweeping-view theatrics for casual, neighborhood dining; it will be open daily starting at 4 p.m. The owners present the project as a response to Southern Highlands’ rapid growth and local demand." - Janna Karel

10/10 all around. Best Italian food Ive had. Amazing food. Taylor was amazing as a server. Super sweet and just the right amount of attentive. Will definitely be coming back.

Super excited for a new italian restaurant in the area. I really like the atmosphere here and the fact you can see in the kitchen area is really neat. I was able to try the Limoncello Spritz and the Italicus Spritz. I usually lean towards sweet drinks, but I preferred the Italicus. This was very unique and very herbal, super refreshing! We had the Bruschetta appetizer, but it is not the normal bruschetta since it had no tomatoes. It came with whipped burrata, fig jam and prosciutto. This was all very tasty, but wasn't served with slices of bread so a little more difficult to assemle/eat. I would also like to have more pieces of bread for the appetizer as a whole. For dinner I had the Pipe Rigate which was extremely good! The pasta is made fresh daily and you can tell. It came out really hot and nice portion size. For dessert I had the "Spaghetti and meatballs" which was cheesecake with strawberry sauce and chocolate ganache truffles. The cake was not overly sweet and paired very well with the sauce and whipped cream. Overall, we will definitely be back!

Such a cute little local spot! Love the atmosphere, service was great. Food was really good, highly recommend the Dubai Chocolate Cake and Linguini.

Last night we went to Nudo for the first time and we will definitely be back! Tony provided us with excellent service! We started with the calamari and the focaccia - so good! I had the salmon and my husband had the lemony chicken and both were so flavorful. We finished it off with the "spaghetti and meatballs" dessert and it was one of my favorite desserts ever! Our food all came out pretty quickly but it didn't feel like a rushed experience - perfect date night!

Google
Good Italian joint on southwest side of strip. Open for 8 days at my time of visit which violates my my rule of waiting for 1 month to work out any issues. However, overall experience was good and will go back to try other menu items. Definitely give this place a try for yourself.

Google
Went with the family, our service was great from start to finish. The food was okay. The pasta that came with the chicken parm was cold and the sauce was fresh dump from a can soup. The calamari was really salty inedible - the deserts were fun and tasty., the wine selection was excellent! We will be back. I know they just opened and still need to refine their food- the music and ambience inside it’s great!

Google
The steak is tender, juicy, packed with flavor, and a bargain. Pasta is house made and cooked properly - al dente. Staff exudes enthusiasm. They're attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Don't skip dessert. Can't wait to return and try the pizza!

Google
First, love the bar vibe! This feels like the kind of place where you’ll always know people. The food is fantastic - favorites include the pizza, crudo and burrata. Try an Italian spritz and ask for Tony’s section.

Yelp
We tried Nudo a couple of weeks ago and had such a great experience! Tony was out server - he provided a great experience. Made sure we were taken care of but never rushed us! The food came out really quickly - everything was delicious. We had the calamari - the red sauce was our favorite. I had the salmon and my husband had the lemony chicken. Everything was delicious! Make sure to save room for dessert - the "spaghetti and meatballs" was one of the best desserts I've ever tried! Ambience was great and perfect for a local date night. Will absolutely be returning.

Yelp
This restaurant is amazing. Everything about it was great. We have eaten there 2 times and the food has been consistently great. I have never been to a restaurant where everyone working there makes you feels so welcome. From the hostess at the door, the wait staff and to the runners that bring your food out are so friendly, they just make you feel like they know you. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant.

Yelp
Amazing service from Eddie! We talked to the manager and he was very hospitable as well. Had dinner with my husband midweek to celebrate an anniversary. Restaurant was packed and busy, but regardless we were able to get a table in 5 minutes around 7:30pm. Hostess was friendly as she sat us, greeted us, and also wished us a goodnight when we left. The restaurant dining room is nice and open, they have booths and tables and you have option to sit at bar. There is also a view of the kitchen where all the action happens. Music was a little loud, but we were able to hold a conversation. For drinks, we just had water for the table regular but they have sparkling and bottled if you prefer that. My husband had a coffee flavored dark beer and I got a prosecco. They paired well with our dinner. For starters, we got a caesar salad and some calamari. The calamari was hot crispy and the sauces were perfect as the lemon aioli had a citrus creamy zing while the spicy marinara had a good kick! The server surprised us with a tasting sampler which had sweet peppers stuffed with cheese, some parmesan cheese, and pickled olives or onions which were so tasty! For our main entrees, my husband got the shrimp scampi and I got the Mezzi Rigatoni. Pasta was al denti and tasted like freshly made. I was so full, took half my rigatoni home and had them the next day and they were still delicious. Overall, if you are looking for a local spot in SW with quality italian food away from the strip with excellent service this is a wonderful choice! We didn't try their pizzas or other dishes, but will return to try some more. I definitely want some Tiramisu next time.

Yelp
Glad to have a solid Italian restaurant on this side of town so that I don't have to go far. My favorites were the prosciutto pizza and the branzino. The steak was better than expected but I enjoyed the other two more. The calamari and pistachio cake were also great. I didn't care too much for the broccolini, risotto, or gemelli. They like to use a lot of the sweet peppers in their dishes. A little too sweet for me.

Yelp
My wife suggested we finally try this place since she wanted to go out and celebrate the anniversary of our engagement. It was around 7 when we arrived and only had to wait a few minutes to be seated. The interior is nice and cozy, but the real reason to come is the food. We ordered calamari which had a lemon sauce and a spicy marina. That was pretty good. We ordered a caesar salad, which for $13 was just ok. Lettuce, dressing and some finely grated breadcrumbs. The rigatoni and shrimp scampi were very good. Overall a decent place that we will return to and try something else. We did get a beer and a glass of wine and the bill with tax was just under $100.

Yelp
Everything was great! Ambiance, service, and the food! We can't wait to come back! Our waiter Tony was very friendly and gave great recommendations. Fresh pasta, flavorful sauce. The sausage was very good. Shrimp scampi and calamari tasted so fresh!

Yelp
I was excited when I found out another Italian restaurant was opening close to our home as the other one we love is always packed. Sadly, I was pretty disappointed in this place. We ordered the Mezzi Rigatoni and the Bruschetta. The prosciutto, burrata and fig honey for the bruschetta were all delicious but the bread was very oily. We could barely taste anything flavors in the Mezzi Rigatoni and the noodles were way past al dente, they were getting stuck in my teeth. The service was very slow but it was fairly busy so I chalked it up to that. The inside of the restaurant is clean and simple and there are a lot of tables and a bar you can also sit at.

Yelp
Limoncello Spritzer was my drink goal for this Saturday night. I notice our new neighborhood restaurant offered it. In choosing an appetizer, I had the Baked Clams with roasted peppers and pancetta which was very good, with just the right amount of batter. I thoroughly enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant, modern yet cozy, takes you away from the hot and messy summer weather. The employees were very friendly. Our server was accommodating and knowledgeable, adjusting to my dietary restrictions for the evening. I also sampled the Pepperoni Pizza with vodka sauce and honey. I'll be back to try the rest for sure!

Yelp
4/5 stars: Food overall was really good! The meatballs, chicken, noodles and bread were amazing. The steak was good, but a bit gristly. The Caesar salad wasn't very good. 2/5 stars: The service was really slow, almost bad for us. The waiter kept forgetting things, he didn't check on us, and took about 10 minutes after we were seated to even greet us. We had to ask for new plates after apps after he cleared them and said he'd get them. 4/5 stars: Ambiance was ok, a bit noisy for me after it filled up for the evening. 3/5 stars: Prices were ok for the portion sizes. We will give it another go to try the pizza since it looked good.

Yelp
We were looking for a new place to try for date night and chose Nudo since it was right down the street and brand new with all the buzz surrounding it. We made a reservation so we got seated quickly after checking in. The restaurant was very loud and lively, with very modern decor and ambiance. They have a smaller menu and emphasized on everything being freshly made daily. We got the calamari and focaccia bread for appetizer, and the rapini pizza, mezi rigatoni and broccolini to share. Food came quickly, and we could tell they were very freshly made. Everything was good, but definitely have room for improvement. The bread was a little too salty and the calamari was crispy on the outside but too soft on the inside. Pizza was flavorful but fell apart as soon as we picked the slices up. The pasta was our favorite, creamy and fresh and came in good portions. Our server was very nice and attentive, and consistently checked on us and everything we needed. We'll be back another time to check out the other items on their menu.

Yelp
We are missing a solid Italian spot in the southwest/Southern Highlands area and I think Nudo has the potential to be it, but isn't quite there yet. The interior is well decorated and seating is well-organized. The bar area is also great and offers a great variety of cocktails like old fashioneds, spritzes, and mocktails. I don't think there are many bars in this area of town with great cocktail options. The wine list, however, left some to be desired. It was a confusing mix of really basic options like Kim Crawford and Jordan, along with some solid options like Schramsberg blanc de blanc, etc. Now onto the food. The focaccia was excellent and a must get. We got the Caesar salad, which had great quality lettuce, but was too salty and lacked the umami of anchovies. The pizza margherita had a weird pool of oil on top and didn't have enough cheese, but the crust had great chew and the overall taste was really good. For entrees, we had the cacio e Pepe and chicken parm. The house made pasta was of fantastic quality and perfectly al dente, but didn't have enough sauce and pepper flavor. I actually ended up borrowing some of the chicken parm red sauce to accompany the pasta. The chicken parm was well-cooked and juicy, but the burrata that came on top felt disjointed. I also think Nudo goes a little too wild with the chiffonade basil, which was on a lot of our dishes. Personally not a fan of basil on cacio e Pepe, for example. For dessert, the tiramisu, with the cocoa powder and one layer (?) of the lady fingers kind of lacking in espresso, felt dry. Our server and busboys were friendly and didn't miss a beat. Food also came out at a great cadence. I think there are still some kinks to work out here, but really glad to have a solid Italian spot to fill the void in this area of town.

Yelp
I'm grading on a significant curve here due to the restaurant only being open for about three weeks when we ate there for Father's Day dinner as the service is very spotty but again they're still working out the kinks so I don't want to be too harsh. Our server Eddie was very nice and took the time to explain many of their signature dishes but he appeared to possibly have too many tables as it took a lengthy time to receive drinks and get the bill etc. We had 7:30 reservations for three (wife and adult son) and were seated promptly after checking in. The restaurant is decorated in a cool modern style with a huge open kitchen. I really liked the music they were playing as it included songs suitable for my middle-aged Gen X ears. We started with three appetizers - the focaccia, the meatballs and the Caesar salad. The meatballs were absolutely fantastic as they were super tender and flavorful in an unctuous marinara sauce. The focaccia was the perfect accompaniment for sopping up that sauce but was delicious on its own with a perfect spongy interior and salty crust. Both are highly recommended! The salad was tasty and very nicely dressed. They also serve a complimentary amuse bouche consisting of cheese-stuffed peppers, pickled vegetables and chunks of good quality Parmesano Reggiano. Nice touch! For entrees we ordered the cacio e pepe rigatoni, the garlic and pistachio linguine and the chicken Parmesan. The linguine was on the spicy side but still quite good and complimented the chicken parm nicely. The chicken itself had that delicious marinara and melted burrata mozzarella which worked really well. The rigatoni honestly could've used more flavor but was well-made. Really the only "miss" of all the dishes we ordered. For sides we had sauteed spinach and sauteed broccolini - both were delicious. We tried two desserts - the pistachio cake and the "spaghetti and meatballs" cheesecake. The pistachio cake was emulating the Dubai chocolate craze as it had a phyllo dough nest on top for some crunch and a chocolate drizzle. The cheesecake was made to look like spaghetti and meatballs as they extruded the whipped cream on top to make "noodles" and then drizzled raspberry reduction for the "sauce" and put a red sphere of white chocolate on top for the "meatball". Quite cute and creative! We really enjoyed both desserts. Dinner for three came to $189 before tip which included two glasses of wine and a soft drink. I thought that was a steal considering the quality of the food. Again they need to work out the service issues but I'm sure with time that'll happen and we'll definitely be back to give them another chance. I really hope this place makes it as they're in a bit of an odd location in Southern Highlands but we definitely need more quality restaurants in that area!!

Yelp
Made a reservation here for a birthday and they were pretty busy when we arrived around 6:30pm on a Monday night. It's a great little locals restaurant that just opened. Upon arrival, we were greeted quickly and waited for about 5 mins for them to get everything set up, even with a reservation. The entrance is a bit small as customers were leaving and we were entering in. The bar area was right by the entrance and there are booth areas on the other side. I do appreciate the open kitchen concept. It made it look modern and clean. After we were seated, our waitress, May Ling?, was friendly and greeted us with a smile and bubbly personality. She took our orders and answered any questions we had. We ordered some drinks, (sodas $6 each) and ordered some pastas since they're made In house. The pipe rigato and the rigatoni with the white sauce was pretty good. They were flavorful and a good portion. The chicken parm was a bit overcooked as the chicken was dry. The lemon chicken was bland as well. For dessert, May Ling recommended the Sphaghetti and meatballs, which was their dessert take on the dish, with a cheesecake with raspberry sauce and chocolate truffles. It was a good way to end the birthday dinner. Make sure you double check your orders when they give you your check. There was a mix up because they added extra drinks for every refill (by accident) considering that drinks are $6 each which is kinda pricey in my opinion. For everything including the drinks, we paid $171 (doesn't include tip). We would come back next time to try the pizzas. But nothing too special at the moment to catch our attention.

Yelp
We were excited to come and try this restaurant, especially since it's local. It's very young, only open for a couple days so we expected growing pains. Let's start with the good - it's a beautiful restaurant, well appointed and should do well for the area. The service was good, and no issues there. As far as the food, the salad was very good, the meatballs were excellent, best dish of the night. The branzino was average, the sausage was just ok. The two misses were the calamari (oily and overcooked), and the veal ragu pasta while cooked perfectly had very little flavor as well as veal. The calamari was removed from our bill so we were thankful. A couple things of note - the salad had a V next to it and the V key at the bottom meant vegetarian but it had salami in it. Is that by design, is it in error, or is salami considered vegetarian? We asked, but the bartender wasn't sure. I liked it, I'm not a vegetarian anyway! Last part is that they don't have a freezer for large ice cubes at the bar. That means on the 2nd drink I ordered my glass was taken away to the back for where I'm guessing the ice is kept. The drinks were good, but if it was a busy night that's a lot of running around for ice needed not kept at the bar. The pizzas that we saw looked really good, and we will return to try that once all the newness wears off.

Yelp
Update: We dined over the weekend. Can I just say they have the best Dubai Chocolate Dessert? Their Bisteca Ala Florentina was also good, brought back memories of our trip to Florence. Pizza was better than the soft opening, it was lip smacking good. Gelatos-I highly suggest they change suppliers. Our friends told us my homemade pistachio gelato was way better. Calamari was pretty straight forward. Our friend liked her Branzino. Bucatini, was just okay. But overall vibe, was wonderful! We attended the soft opening of Nudo. What can I say? I'm glad they will be opening on Friday! SoHi needs more restaurants that have amazing ambiance, great food and friendly staff. As soon as you walk in, the hostess gave us a welcoming smile. Someone asked if we wanted an espresso martini. We tried some of their pastas, chicken parm, and pizza. I love their pizza! The crust and the balance of flavors were amazing! The chicken parm was straight forward. The pasta with Alfredo sauce was good, a bit on the peppery side. The next pasta with a tomato based sauce was also good. Both pastas were cooked just right. I think I liked the tomato based sauce just a bit more because it had some crunch to it. Their GM stopped by our table and chatted with us, and we were delighted to hear that they will be serving brunch!!! Congrats on a successful soft launch and welcome to the neighborhood, Nudo!

Yelp
Excellent food all around. All our food came out fast and so good. Everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned. Glad to have discovered this restaurant. The service was fast and the server and everyone else was very attentive. Ambiance was cozy. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
The food is ok for a neighborhood Italian spot, if you don't want to go to the Strip. Nothing terribly creative or ultra flavorful, just a solid restaurant with reasonable prices (at least for this current economy). We tried a variety of dishes -- the burrata salad, rigatoni, gnocchi, and the prosciutto pizza. The pasta was al dente, and my favorite was the gnocchi. The flavors from the pasta dishes are a bit muted, and the pizza was ok if you're not terribly picky. The crust is crispy. I'm glad I stopped in to try and support this local small business, but I don't see myself coming back again. I hope they do well for the Southern Highlands area!
google avatar

Kody S.

Yelp
Southern Highlands just got a serious upgrade. Nudo Italiano is right up there with the best Italian restaurants on the Strip, but without the chaos of Strip traffic or parking headaches. It's rare to find a place this refined and delicious on the south end of town, and clearly word is spreading fast. We had a 6:00 pm reservation and by 6:45 the place was packed. We started with the calamari, which came with both a lemon aioli and arrabbiata sauce. Both were outstanding in their own right. The addition of sweety drop peppers added a tangy pop that elevated the dish. For my main, I had the bucatini with shrimp scampi. The pasta was perfectly cooked with a subtle heat that didn't overpower the fresh shrimp. Just really well balanced. I also tried the vitello piccata (veal), and it was classic comfort done right. Tender, flavorful, and plated beautifully. The whole experience was polished yet cozy. It's lovely to see a quality, destination-worthy restaurant open up in Southern Highlands. Can't wait to go back, but definitely make a reservation. This place fills up fast.

Yelp
We tried this restaurant as a last minute dinner option. We were not disappointed at all. They got us in quickly. The food was delicious. My fiancé even said it reminded her of the food she had on a recent Italy trip. We will definitely be back here. The prices are amazing for a restaurant with ambiance this nice.

Yelp
Great locals spot. Love the concept behind it as well. Eddie was a superb server, gave us menu details and background of the restaurant. Started the meal off with the focaccia with rosemary and pecorino- super fluffy. Followed it up with the bruschetta. This was more similar to a small charcuterie. Fantastic, the whipped burrata, prosciutto and fig jam go together on a great toast point. For our mains, we shared the linguine and added chicken, and the Salsiccia e Peperoni, broccolini as our side. Couldn't get enough of the sauce for the linguine, big pistachio fan! Salsiccia e Peperoni had a great spice level to it and a nice lower carb, gluten free option. Broccolini was cooked to perfection, the lemon peel was a great touch. Almost tasted as if it was candied, which went nicely with the Calabrian chili. Pistachio cake for dessert was spectacular. Super soft and the kanafa was toasted perfectly. We will be back soon to try more of the menu!

Yelp
The Service was excellent, the food was also very good... the drinks and food are a little pricey. I like eating off the strip to avoid the outrageous prices. This place has prices comparable to a strip location. Other than the price point we enjoyed the experience. Best wishes to Nudo!
google avatar

Yelp
I liked this place quite a bit and will return. Homemade noodles, free taster amuse bouche. We got there at open and had very good service for a place that had been open for one week. It is a little bit on the expensive side but the plates were warm, food was very tasty, and noodles were perfectly cooked. You order your noodles and meat entree separately. There was plenty of food for two with appetizer, one noodle, and two entrees to share.

Yelp
For a new spot they really have it figured out. I would say the wait staff was too eager to clear empty glasses but excessive is better than the latter. Our server Tony was incredible, knowledgeable and accomendating. They still have a few kinks to work out, but what new place doesn't? The pizza crust was delicious! The gnocchi was a little sad and the texture was inconsistent but the feedback was well received. The dessert was incredible, I always love Tiramisu HOWEVER, the Pistachio Cake stole the show (it's served with a chocolate drizzle that I don't think it needs, it overpowers the cake). Great job Nudo staff, I'm excited to see this place flourish!

Yelp
Took my family there for a birthday dinner my service was horrible. Food was good reason why i came back! thinking last time i sat at the bar and my bar tender service was great! This time around we had to constantly call the waiter or busser to pls take the empty plates we had to refill our own waters not sure if that was how they do it ? Felt like i was at a kbbq spot. We had plates staking on top of each other due to the lack of service. served us appetizers with not utensils had to raise my hand for things i needed Lack attentiveness place was not busy at the time we was there.. 7:45ish pm CANT SAY I WOULD GO BACK unfortunately.

Yelp
First of many visits! So happy this has arrived in the neighborhood. From the bartender to the server when we were seated, all very knowledgeable on the details of every item on the menu including all the drinks and recommended everything from the starters, bread to specialty cocktails. The inside is much bigger than it looked from the outside, we enjoyed our visit and we keep recommending to all our friends!

Yelp
What a fantastic restaurant! The food was delicious and we received outstanding service from Tony. We ordered a Prosciutto pizza, it was amazing! Then we had the chicken francese, lemon risotto and the Cacio e Pepe pasta. The food was absolutely delicious. Wish I would've taken some pictures. If you haven't been yet, and love Italian food, you have to check it out. You will not be disappointed!
google avatar

Yelp
Great handmade pasta and hand tossed pastas. Great cocktails, lovely interior. Comparable to North Italia in the modern sense/open kitchen concept. Pepperoni pizza with hot honey and ricotta is the bees knees! Also had Cacio e Pepe and Chicken Francese. Would recommend them all

Yelp
Overall great just a few growing pains. Chicken parmesan was SO flavorful just delicious! It was a bit odd for it not to be served with any pasta but still amazing. Kids menu was amazing. The cheese pizza was a full size! Only strange thing was the burgers said they came with mozzarella cheese but there was no cheese on it. Maybe a typo? Also the fries were undercooked. Kids were given crayons for kids but no paper to draw on? So my kids were upset. Pollo Fanchese was good... not amazing but decent. Pineapple vodka cocktail was good. Must like Pineapple. Atmosphere was perfect. Casual chic. Great service

Yelp
I was very surprised at how awesome Nudo Italiano was. My boyfriend and I did a double date with friends. It was very welcoming and warm inside. Everyone was very nice throughout the restaurant. The inside was designed beautifully with the open kitchen. Our server was Tony and he was great! We started off with waters and a little appetizer brought to the table. It had little red peppers, Parmesan cheese and a balsamic marinated onion. They suggest family style which is a great way to try everything. We started off with a few cocktails which were very good. We ordered the Paloma Italiana and Carrozzino. Great summer cocktails. My best friend went with a Strawberry Bliss Mocktail. She said it was sweet but really fresh and light. We made sure to get the focaccia. Absolutely delicious. The table ordered a Pepperoni and Diavola pizza. Pizza was very fresh, not overly acidic and not greasy. The diavola is meant to be extra spicy from the Calabrian Chili. The Pepperoni had a vodka sauce with honey. It was creamy and sweet but nothing you'd expect. Great combination with the pepperoni. There was also a Caesar salad ordered and the bread crumbs were crumbled within the lettuce leaves. So good and not overly dressed which is important. We also ordered 2 pasta dishes because they make fresh pasta in house. Mezzi Rigatoni is the Cacio e pepe and the Pappardelle which is their version of the bolognese. Pasta was good but since it is fresh it definitely absorbed the sauces up more and the pasta tended to be a little dry as it started to cool off. The dessert menu had a lot of good options but ultimately we went with the Pistachio cake. It's made with a mix of cream cheese and mascarpone cheese. Very light and not even sweet. This dessert was bomb and was like a deconstructed chocolate dubai. Nudo did not disappoint. I went with 4 stars because when it's busy inside, it does get loud noise wise so it's hard to have a conversation when you're with a group. Other than that you have to try it!

Yelp
My friends and I went for a moms' night out and we're not disappointed! All of their pastas are made in-house and delicious. The branzino was perfect. We also tried the pepperoni pizza. The combination of ricotta cheese and honey were perfect.

Yelp
Decided to stop by here on a whim with my husband and 1 year old. We had the most amazing experience as soon as we stepped in. We felt a bit underdressed and will definitely be back (with the correct attire). But from the food to the incredibly kind staff I can't tell you which was the best. I had the shrimp scampi and I could eat that every single day and never be tired of it. My son loved his grilled chicken strips and I was too busy enjoying my meal to know what my husband got but he too finished his dish. This is such a much needed addition to SoHi and I can't wait to go back. We were genuinely pleasantly shocked at how great everything was.

Yelp
The food was wonderful. Friendly restaurant manager and they accommodate kids so well. They gave us a booth because we had a kid, and even gave our daughter a placemat to color with crayons. We got the mushroom pizza, baked clams, calamari, burrata salad, and the bucatini. The items including cocktails ranged between $16-24. The food was delicious. I recommend the mushroom pizza and bucatini. The portions are much smaller than what we typically see for a $24 pasta dish (I really felt the economy with this one). The pasta and pizza dough is made fresh. Assuming the cost of product and fresh ingredients are what really factors into the cost of the food and smaller portions. We were there for 3 hours, and not because we were all having riveting conversations during dinner, but because service was so slow. We had to wave people down to ask for water and to get our checks and check on our food. I would say our server stopped by once every 30 minutes. The table in front of us and to the right of us all left before we did. And that corner booth just really made it feel like that table gets forgotten.

Yelp
Amazing food, wonderful staff, and great ambiance! Everything we have had is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the pepperoni pizza and focaccia with a side of shallot vinaigrette! The spaghetti and meatballs cheesecake is creative and the pistachio cake to die for! Have visited a few times and every employee is warm and welcoming. The hostess Samantha is friendly and personable. The busser Manuel is hardworking and efficient. And the server Tony is great and attentive. Love this place!!

Yelp
First restaurant with the ability to make fresh pasta and keep it al dente. We felt the flavors were elevated and all of the pasta dishes we've had, thus far have been outstanding. Will keep going back. So lovely to have amazing Italian so close by.

Yelp
Everything was so great. Similar vibes to north Italia. They have gluten free options as well! Will definitely be back. From the host to our server we felt so welcomed and taken care of. Will definitely be a regular spot.

Yelp
I wanted to like this new restaurant but it fell short. The location, service and atmosphere are very nice but the food and price are not worth a revisit. For $32.00, I would hope the chicken parmigiana would come with a side or salad...and a very mediocre entree to boot. Maybe the pizza is better.

Yelp
New place that friends asked us to go with them to. We were greeted by very friendly, hospitable host and hostess. The dining area was very busy and crowded for my taste, however we opted for a booth (which was fine.) The tables are so close together that you are practically sitting with your neighbor's table. The server we had was ok. In other reviews, the main complaint seems to be the slower service, and lack of checking in on your party. We did experience the same thing. I am not sure why this happens because the place is not very big. We ordered cocktails and drinks, and that did forever to come out. We did not even get water while waiting for the other drinks. As far as dinner, we ordered Pollo Francese, Calamari, Salmone, Vongole, Bucatini, Focaccia, Pistachio Cake, Cannoli Stack, and the Gelato Trio - total $337.37 with tip for the four of us. Although the food was good by everyone's remarks, I felt the portions were a bit short contrary to what other reviews have stated. I am not talking double the serving, but for the price, it could be a bit more. The pasta dishes were good, and you can tasted the difference in the "homemade" pasta. Presentation of all dishes were fabulous. I did like the seeing the pass. (See pic.) As I live far from the SW, I would not make a special trip to Nudo for a meal, however it is a good addition for the SW. If the table service could be improved, the prices would be more on point. I will not return, however, I do recommend for a nice dinner out.

Yelp
Great food and super friendly service! Fresh pasta and great bread, delicious desserts. The hostess and staff were amazing with clean elegant decors . Our server was great and made excellent recommendations. Only very minor thing was she kept checking on us more often than needed . We mentioned we were new to the place and ordered a 3 appetizers 2 entrees 2 dessert to share. We went early mid week so not too busy. She kept checking on us middle of conversations and was very pleasant but it was a tad more than necessary. We closed out our check sooner than wanted to and luckily there's a seating area outside that wasn't occupied/used and sat there and chatted longer . The hostess saw us and offered drinks and genuinely made us very comfortable . She was very pleasant from the very beginning and gave a memorable interaction . Definitely will come back and recommend .

Yelp
My second meal here this week. Focaccia bread was incredible. We loved it. Margherita Pizza was solid. Real fresh and clean. Chicken francese was 10/10 next level. Best dish of the evening. Shrimp scampi was great too. And the tiramisu was one of the best in vegas. Also , thank you Amanda she's the best! Enjoy

Yelp
So happy to finally have a locals restaurant in the neighborhood with great ambiance, quality food, diverse bar selection & attentive service. This is our second visit at Nudo & looking forward to many more. Every dish so far has been delicious. We've tried the calamari, meatballs, focaccia, rigatoni, vitello & peperoni pizza. Our little one loved the kids cheese pizza & sliders. The deserts are worth a try as well. The price point is more than fair with decent portions. The manager Genevieve gave us the warmest welcome & made us feel at home. A must try in SoHi.

Yelp
The service was amazing and the interior is beautiful. The Pizza definitely 5 stars the chicken parm. I'd have to go with 3. I didn't have a lot of flavor or maybe I just tasted too much of the breading, but they had a great selection of pasta pizza and other traditional items and the calamori was excellent. It's served with two different sauces and the lemon sauces to die for.

Yelp
Oh my gosh. This place is AMAZING. The food, the service, the ambiance. From the hostess and manager that greeted us and were so kind... to our server-- Anthony G -- and he was perfection. Great service, knowledgeable of the menu, and helped us choose our delicious meals. We have only good things to say. We had a Diavola pizza, Mezzi Rigatoni, Risotto, calamari and focaccia. We also had dessert- the "spaghetti and meatballs" (which is cheesecake) and also the gelato. Sooo good! TRY THIS PLACE OUT!

Yelp
Absolutely love this place and what I love even more that it is a wonderful restaurant right in the neighborhood. This is what Southern Highlands was missing Nudo (fresh) The food was spectacular and my hostess service from Samantha was awesome. It's a cute place I love the open kitchen concept . The pistachio cake was wonderful It was absolutely to die for the pizza was amazing the crust was everything. I will definitely be back matter of fact, I think I'm going back today lol it was that good.

Yelp
Incredible, high end Italian restaurant near Southern Highlands. New, but already runs like a well oiled machine. Beautiful restaurant, gorgeous bar, and incredibly friendly and warm service. Pizza (and oven) are next level. Bread is fantastic. So nice to see a chef-driven restaurant in the southwest that actually rivals the strip! Executive chef was head of La Cave at the Wynn for years - and it shows!

Yelp
Fantastic neighborhood Italian restaurant! The staff all work together to ensure your plates are delivered and taken away very quickly. The food is presented and prepared elegantly. Waiter Mark was upbeat and friendly. It is on the pricer side though.
