Food was delicious! 🍜 I think this is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. The place is a little small and is always packed so make sure you go early and not during peak hours, but I 100% recommend this place! Even if you have to wait, it's worth it! ✨ #Food #Restaurant #Recommendation #Vietnamese #Cuisine

Google
When I first got here in NOLA, the first thing I searched was pho spots. I just have to check where I can go get some good pho on cold, sad days like I used to do when I was in Pensacola. First thing that popped up, that had great reviews was “Nudo”. Approximately three months later, I am back. It has been cold/chilly lately, so I stopped by to get some Bon Bo Hue Pho. I order combination pho but with Bon Bo Hue broth because its so good. I usually pair it with sprite but for today I just got some water. They also have teas and veitnamese coffee for drinks. The broth Spice level is just right (and I am not a big fan of spicy stuff but this one is good). Staff are friendly. Price is reasonable. Restaurant is clean and spacious. If you dont wanna sit at the regular tables, you can sit at the bar. There are plenty of parking spaces. Enthusiastically recommend!!

Google
Had pho for the first time brisket was a little tough wish it could cook a little more but it was good the dumplings were good and crab rangoon chicken was good but on the fatty side

Google
We stopped at NUDO for a quick lunch and really enjoyed it. The pho broth was flavorful, and the fried rice was tasty. I’d definitely recommend the veggie spring rolls. Service was quick, and the staff were kind and courteous. A great spot for Vietnamese food!

Google
Food was pretty good! I got their shrimp fried rice while another friend got their bun bo hue. Shrimp fried rice was good but wasn't as flavorful as I like. They put the shrimp on the side (in the picture). I think their bun bo hue was amazing. Really liked the broth which was very beefy and clear of the seasoning residue you may typically find in traditional bun bo. Would come back to try their other dishes!

Lailienne M.

Google
I'd give Nudo a 4.5 Food was very flavorful. I got the Bun Bo Hue and my son got the plain Pho. He is very picky and said the pho broth was so good. I'm only knocking off 1/2 points because it was so hot in the building. The service was great. They were busy not only with dine in orders but also togo orders & uber eats orders. I'll definitely be back!

Google
What happens when your food is delicious but your customer service is trash? You get a 1 star review, no tip and mis out on regulars. The food was literally 10 out of 10. However 1/5 of my party was forgotten and had to suffice on appetizers. Also DO NOT ORDER THE FLAVORED TEA. He told us before ordering it was 24 oz. We found out after the drinks arrived, it’s only 8 oz of tea and 12 oz of ice. The cup was 20 oz not 24. We asked for a refill and the manager refused.

Google
The best food I’ve had in a while. This shrimp fried rice is amazing. 10/10 for Nudo

Yelp
I love their eye round steak pho. It's a bowl of awesomeness!! and so delicious.. definitely come check them out.. you will never disappoint!!

Yelp
Hands down the best chicken vermicelli bowl and grilled shrimp spring rolls I've had! Everything was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor--can't recommend it enough. I'm visiting from Las Vegas, where I've had my fair share of amazing Vietnamese food, but this place is truly top notch! Huge thanks to Lidia Lagos for bringing me to this hidden gem!

Yelp
Vietnamese place near East Jefferson Hospital. Our party had a takeout order of the combination pho, shaken beef, and 2 jumbo shrimp fried rice. Calling in the order and the pickup was pretty easy and seamless. They had it ready when they said it would. The combination pho was quite good and the broth is quite tasty. The jumbo shrimp fried rice was excellent tasting, and I think it had 6 big shrimp in each order. While the sauce and seasoning of the shaken beef was flavorful, I have to take one star away since the actual beef was a little overcooked for my liking. Would certainly come back and give this place another go.

Yelp
Nudo is a no nonsense spot for solid Vietnamese food. My daughter and I had lunch here when it was recommended by a friend. It's a brightly decorated, cute, little spot in the heart of Metairie. We had pork bacos, a pork bahn mi and crab rangoons. All were ok, but if you aren't into jalapeños definitely request your food without them. There were lots of them in our food and I'm really not a heavy heat lover. One of the staff members was super friendly and helpful, so that was appreciated.

Yelp
Round eye steak Pho: 6/10, flavor was great, but noodles were a little hard & meat was not tender as stated on menu. Service was okay: The waitress was rushing and did not let me finish my complete order upon arriving, I had to walk to the counter to let the cashier know that I needed more things added to my order. When my pho was served, the waitress also did not bring out the side dish of jalapeños, limes, basil etc., I had to walk to counter to ask for it.

Yelp
Yummy. They have amazing fried bao. Pho good. Eggrolls good. lots of good things on menu. Great lunch spot

Yelp
I'm writing this review to bring awareness to an unfortunate experience I had at Nudo. I placed a takeout order after craving Vietnamese pho for some time. My order included: * Pho broth with noodles and standard toppings * Grilled shrimp (on the side) * Spring rolls with grilled shrimp * A Coca-Cola with ice Once I got home, I combined the pho and shrimp and took my first bite, at which point I discovered a fine gray hair in my food, which had already gone into my mouth. This was extremely unpleasant and concerning from a food-safety standpoint. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with the employee who took my original order. His name was KT, as shown on the receipt. Over the phone, he apologized and stated that he would refund me and remake the food to make things right. I then drove approximately 15 minutes back to the restaurant in Metairie. However, once I arrived, the situation changed. KT advised me that he could only do one or the other -- either a refund or a remake, not both, which was different from what was offered over the phone. I explained that it was an inconvenience to make the drive after discovering hair in my food and asked if I could speak with a manager. He stated that the manager, Katie, was not present and that there was no one else available to speak with, repeating that my only options were a refund or a remake. During this interaction, an older woman nearby overheard the conversation and attempted to step in to help. She asked what was wrong and appeared willing to accommodate the situation, even asking if I wanted the food remade. However, KT dismissed her input and reiterated that no additional accommodation -- including a partial refund -- could be offered. The issue here is not just the inconvenience, but the fact that someone else's hair ended up in my mouth, which is unacceptable in any food establishment. I do not have hair like that, which raises concerns about whether proper hair restraints are being used in the kitchen. While mistakes can happen, how they are handled matters. Unfortunately, the change in what was offered and the lack of support once I arrived left me feeling dismissed after an already uncomfortable experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both food-handling practices and customer service going forward.

Yelp
I don't think I would ever say this but - THIS IS THE BEST VIETNAMESE FOOD I'VE EVER HAD. I would rate it as best in the city!!! The difference between this place and alllll the other places that serve Vietnamese food is FLAVOR. They have the most delicious meats that go in any of your dishes and everything is hot and fresh! I realized that most everyone who works here is friends/family so the service is great because they are all connected AND I found out the main chef who is cooking all the food is an older Vietnamese woman, assuming she may be the grandmother or just an amazing chef. I noticed her back there whipping everything up! The place is on the smaller side with limited seating but once you sit down you are in for a treat!! This is now the only place I want to come for all my spring roll, pho and Ban Mi needs! So glad we stumbled upon this one!

Yelp
Here again! I'm ADDICTED! The Vietnamese is like I had multiple times at GoogleSKorea! Sooooo flavorful. I've eaten basically the menu. Owner Elina is super fantastic and employees follow her great attitude. I ALWAYS get the Bun Bo Hue (spicy, deep rich beef broth, brisket, Vietnamese ham, etc) is ADDICTIVE. I buy it even when not hungry to bring home for later or next day. The fusion wings are like nothing you've had in states with a Vietnamese major & delicious flavor. The fried (u can get steamed!) backs with lemongrass pork are to due for. Clean bathrooms and wait staff (Loan & John)are super friendly and helpful. I've been here about 16-18 times and I recommend to friends in the know and they all keep coming back to. Restaurant is near East Jefferson Gen Hospital in Metairie near Veterans Blvd. Also, iced Vietnamese coffee is killer delicious!

Yelp
FOOD - Nudo Fusion Wings: 6 wings stir-fried with jalapeños and onions. Sooooo good! The wings were huge! 5/5 - Banh Xeo (Vietnamese Crepes): filled with shrimp, pork, onions, beans sprouts, and green onions. Served with vegetables and fish sauce. Crispy and made as ordered ( no bean sprouts). Good but very messy to eat. 4/5 - BBQ Pork Banh Mi: BBQ pork with Vietnamese mayo, sliced cucumber, pickled carrots and daikon, cilantro, and sliced jalapeños. Very good. 4.5/5 SERVICE: Service was decent. Food was ready in a timely manner. Food came out hot! I burned my tongue and the roof of my mouth tasting my kids' pho. 4/5 FINAL THOUGHTS: I would come back. The food was good. I specifically came to try their pork belly bacos but they didn't' have any. All the other options were meat with lemongrass and I don't like lemongrass so I wasn't able to try it. Bummer.

Yelp
I came for the pho. They say it's one of the best in Metairie. It was a Saturday and they were slammed but the server was attentive and I was able to find a seat and place my order. I got the pho Thai and the crunchy egg rolls. Delish!

Yelp
I'd been eyeing this place for months, and finally decided to give them a try last night. I ordered the brisket pho and crab rangoons. I wasn't the biggest fan of their crab rangoons. The filling was thick and creamy with mild flavor; however, the actual wonton tasted quite stale. Three people tried them and we all said the same thing. It was disappointing because this is one of my favorite appetizers. Nonetheless, the pho was everything I'd hoped for. The broth is probably one of the best around these parts. It was bold but smooth. The brisket was tender and flavorful, and the vegetables were crisp and fresh. I really enjoyed it! Someone else picked up the order so I can't comment on customer service.

Yelp
Wow!! Great place to grab an early dinner with a friend. Such a cute Vietnamese restaurant in Metairie. Started with the grilled lemongrass chicken rolls. Chicken with pickled carrots, daikon, cilantro, lettuce, and vermicelli wrapped in rice paper. Served with NUDO's peanut sauce, the spring rolls are so delicious. Get the pho!! The Chicken Pho/Pho Ga was so warm and comforting. Chicken broth with both white and dark meat. My friend really enjoyed her Brisket Pho/Pho Chin. Both were brimming with meat, noodles, vegetables and herb. All soups come with a side plate filled with bean sprouts, jalapeños, Thai basil and limes. Sooo yummy!! The restaurant is so cute and inviting. Love the art work on the lime green walls. Spring Rolls. Bao Bun. Pho. Vermicelli. Parking was so easy. No waiting at 3:30 PM on a Friday afternoon. A great place for Pho with family or friends.

Yelp
My husband ordered the bun bo hue and I got the banh xeo. Inside is nicely decorated with lots of greenery and hanging plants. Food also came out super quick and was tasty. The bun bo hue broth was very rich and the banh xeo was light and filling. We would want to come back to try other entrees.
google avatar

Yelp
We went to this small very cute Vietnamese restaurant for brunch with the family on a Saturday. The servers were very friendly. The inside is the cutest decoration. When we got in there were only 2 tables occupied. Within a blink of an eye the place was packed. We ordered green tea, tofu banh mi, pho broth, grilled chicken and grilled shrimp fried bacos. I can tell you, everything was delicious! I will definitely come back to explore more menu items.
google avatar

Yelp
the spicy beef pho was delicious. i don't live here but i want to come back because of how good it was. i don't even pho like that i don't like it but this was the best. it was a light broth a bit of spicy with thin pieces of meat. the wings were really good as well they were sweet which was still delicious but i'm more of a spicy person. i ordered a limeade and they didn't have any tho :( definitely family owned but that makes it better ;) 10/10 would come again. HAVE MY LIMANDE NEXT TIME

Yelp
I loved the food at Nudo! I had Chicken Pho and Chicken Wings on the side and it was great. Food was made really fresh and quickly. I dined in, but it also seems quite a great to go spot and I loved the artwork all around the restaurant!.
google avatar

Yelp
Whenever I'm in Metairie, a stop at Nudo is a must. Every dish on the menu is mouthwatering, but I can't resist starting with the Nudo Fusion wings--currently ranking in my top 5 favorite wings of all time. I also always stick with the Shaken Beef, which never fails to impress with its bold and savory flavors. The Spicy Beef Pho is an indulgent side that I usually enjoy by the spoonful, and it's a testament to the culinary magic happening in their kitchen. The service here is always exemplary--patient, attentive, and accommodating, especially when I need to take my soup to go. (A process I admittedly struggle with!) A heads-up: the restaurant is cozy and tucked away in a parking lot with limited spaces, so plan accordingly.

Kelsey B.

Yelp
The service wasn't good at all. We ordered egg rolls, grilled pork vermicelli with egg rolls and grilled pork banh mi. We also ordered a coke to drink, the cup they gave us had ice already melted in it, like a 1/4 cup of melted ice in the cup. FRUIT FLYS EVERYWHERE. (Waited 15 minutes to be serviced food) First thing to table was vermicelli bowl (with egg rolls) then the banh mi minuteSSS later. Asked where egg rolls order was he said they are coming, we said just cancel them. Other people who got there 10 minutes after us were getting served when we were. They really need to get their service in order, they have a steady flow of people coming in the place.

Yelp
Nufo for lunch. I had the Vietnamese Udon Soup. Excellent flavor and chicken full of perfectly cooked butterflied shrimp, calamari, pork belly, carrots and onion. Hubs had his favorite: the Bun Bo Hue. Said it was perfect. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Jevon M.

Yelp
Babyyyyyy, if you want Pho please go here! This was hands down the best pho I've ever had! I'm watching my carb intake so I didn't get the noodles but had double brisket. It was so flavorful and rich! The brisket just melts in your mouth! They have an in-house made chili sauce that is something else! Get it! You get quite a bit so this will be a few meals for you! The wings are top notch! Crispy wings tossed in a chili Asian sauce topped with green onions delicioso in my Dora the Explorer voice! Service was excellent! The hostess shared the different teas they offer and suggested the ginger & passion tea, it was refreshing! The place was is very cute, great for a lunch date! Almost every table was filled! Definitely going back!
google avatar

Alex N.

Yelp
Delicious spot to get Vietnamese food in the New Orleans area. I got the Vietnamese chicken wings and they were one of the best Vietnamese chicken wings I've ever had. Perfect crisp and flavorful batter on the outside and the inside was very juicy and soft. Even their special Vietnamese coffee drink was very unique and Delicious. The drink had condensed milk, jellies, and maybe pudding of some sort. Highly recommend this place and would come back.
google avatar

Darrel O.

Yelp
Tried this place again in July. Still very impressed with the food and the service! Vermicelli and Bahn Xeo were on the table this time. Excellent!
google avatar

Katelynn B.

Yelp
The BBH has gotten so much better since my first experience here. I've been coming once a week after Sunday mass for the past few months and I can't get enough. The servers are always friendly and the food comes out fairly quickly. My go to is the Vietnamese iced coffee and BBH. My partner usually orders the combination pho and he always raves about how good it is. I also love the pickled peppers on the side!
google avatar

Laura C.

Yelp
The service was impeccable. On time, quick & oh boy was the Vietnamese food delic. I went after the Brisket Pho for this autumn season & I am FUQQIN IT UP. That and spring rolls will make your belly full. Can we also take a moment of silence for the art on the walls?

Will S.

Yelp
You can order anything on the menu here and guarantee it will be fresh and incredibly tasty! It's a step above the rest in my opinion. You can taste it in literally every type of dish. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this gem in Metairie, La and y'all the flavors here were spot on! If you are looking for the real deal in Vietnamese food... Pho, Bao, and Banh Mi's...look no further! I love some spice and flavor and Nudo did not disappoint! Everything was seasoned to perfection and oh so good! And I have to say the prices were reasonable as well! Everything we Ate crab rangoons * Steamed Lemon Grass Chicken Bao Fried Pork Belly Bao *Nudo Fusion wings Spicy beef noodle soup combination Banh Mi Everything we drank Mango/Passion Fruit Tea with boba and lychee jelly 1 strawberry/mango Milk tea with Passionfruit jelly and boba and lychee jelly Nudo coffee

Yelp
Came on weekday and the restaurant was busy, but luckily seated quickly. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The Bun Bo Hue was very spicy and flavorful.
google avatar

Yumi H.

Yelp
We found this Metairie gem a few months ago and thought "what a find!" Interior is intimate and cozy but floors can be slippery on humid days so be aware with that. We ordered so many dishes and couldn't choose what were our favorite! We ordered the fusion wings that were AMAZING. Crispy, moist, and tossed in a savory sauce! Crab Rangoon's were delicious since it wasn't overpowered by the cream cheese filling. It was just the right amount! Don't forget the sweet dipping sauce! Best pho in the city. Fried Bacos is another dish you might want to add to your visit. Crunchy Bao's stuffed with pork belly and veggies drizzled in this hearty sauce. Loved the service! Will definitely come back!
google avatar

Shronda S.

Yelp
A great place with delicious food! It's kind of hidden away but a great spot for a day trip to the city. Had the bacos (bao buns) and was beyond delicious. My friend had the grilled chicken pho and it came in such a big bowl - definitely filling. The staff were friendly and quick with service. The restaurant is a nice and clean place and definitely a great lunch spot.

Alea C.

Yelp
Very good! Would def go back! It took about 25 minutes to make. I would probably order in advance next time. Yum

Variluz B.

Yelp
I gave Nudo a 5 star before but last two times that I had been there service have been HORRIBLE!!!! You need to fix that problem.

Andre C.

Yelp
Service and food was superb!!! I got pho to go and had the necessary items for my phone at home except Hison and Siracha. Wish they had to-go containers of that too.
google avatar

Chip O.

Yelp
Great Pho, Service is always welcoming and vibe is chill. This place never disappoints. Pho broth and wings are very flavorful. 10 out of 10.

Amber H.

Yelp
Incredible! The best pho I've had in the New Orleans area, and I'm regularly visiting the West Bank for authentic Vietnamese flavors--but was not expecting this absolute gem to be in the opposite direction. Randomly came across it thanks to ChatGPT (of all things), and it DID NOT disappoint. Again--this place is INCREDIBLE. My husband had the Shrimp Pho, and the broth was heavenly. I regularly make my own shrimp stocks, and this one was ethereal. Perfection. I ordered the Brisket Pho that's been braised for six hours and let me say this--it's been weeks and I'm still thinking about it. Complex, savory, smooth. The balance of fats was sensational. It never felt heavy. Instead, it was incredibly light and nourishing. I could have finished the entire bowl, but we had also ordered the wings, which were so delicious, it became a battle of mind against stomach. Could I finish it all? I certainly tried. But next time, I will be better prepared. Didn't realize the game they were bringing. Top notch. Service too. Impeccable. GO!!!
google avatar

Ryan N.

Yelp
The service was nice. They didn't rush us with our orders, which didn't make us feel like we had to hurry up with choosing what to eat since it was our first time here. The decor looked cool as well. There were different drawings on their inside walls that showed various Vietnamese dishes, which looked so trendy! We ordered a bowl of Bun Bo Hue ($16.50) and a bowl of Bun Thit Nuong ($12.00). For drinks, we also ordered the Passion Jasmine Green Tea Fusion ($5.25) with lychee popping boba ($0.50) and the NUDO House Coffee ($6.50). The Bun Bo Hue bowl is a Vietnamese spicy beef & pork noodle dish with spicy broth. The portions were really big! I'm glad that they were not stingy with the sizings because some restaurants can be like that at times. They also provided us with a small plate of cilantro and bean sprouts to mix up in the dish. As for the taste, the meats and noodles were tender & the seasoning was on point, although I wished they had added a bit more lemongrass to extend the flavor even more, but it's not a big deal. The Bun Thit Nuong bowl is a Vietnamese grilled pork bowl filled with dry, vermicelli noodles, pork, carrots, and cilantro with a side of fish sauce for extensive flavoring. In my opinion, this meal was just okay. It wasn't bad at all, but I felt like the bowl could've had more flavor to it meat wise; however, this is only my opinion, as some people might like this meal more that I did. The Passion Jasmine Green Tea Fusion with lychee popping boba tasted amazing! They used actual tea leaves, so it's authentic! The taste wasn't overly sweet and had the right amount of tea taste to it. As for the NUDU House Coffee, it tasted really good! It has sea salt foam in it to add a diverse flavor to the drink. If you're a coffee fan, I'd recommend trying this out. I just wish that the pricing could be a bit lower because meals such as the Bun Bo Hue bowls are usually $12-$13 at other Vietnamese restaurants, but I do understand a bit since this is a small business. I would come back from time to time if I'm in the area. Next time, I will try either the Pho or their Chicken Wings since I saw that a lot of people loved these dishes.
google avatar

Craig B.

Yelp
The food is always on point Allways amazing!!! The staff rocks!!! Never disappointed!!!

Kate E.

Yelp
This is the best pho I have ever had. Unassuming restaurant but the food is amazing. I just got a brisket pho and I can honestly say it is the best I've had- even over many larger cities. The broth is extremely potent. You can tell they don't water it down. The meat portions are heavy and the quality of the beef is top notch. I really enjoyed the rice noodles they use in the pho. They're very chewy in a good way. My favorite part of the meal was the house made chili paste. It had a medium spice level and a ton of crispy garlic. I will definitely return- the ladies were kind and served with a smile.

Yelp
This is a small neighborhood restaurant. It is small but clean and cute inside. I consider myself very lucky to have been shared this place by a friend. Service is very fast. Everything is fresh Fresh. Made to order. Expect to wait a few for perfectly done wings. We ordered 2 banh mi , grilled pork vermicelli, fried rice and shrimp. All perfect. I can attest to the pork being the best I have ever had. I order a round pho to go. Beautiful broth I could taste the different flavors. All the vegetables fresh and bagged by themselves. The Pho was in a quart container. Best I have eaten. I felt a little piece of Vietnam while there. The staff are very good. Only thing I regret was not getting coffee.

Tina H.

Yelp
Nudo is my go-to spot for Bún Bò Huế! While I also enjoy their vermicelli and pho, the BBH is definitely my favorite. The staff is always friendly, and even when it gets busy (which it often does), I never have to wait long. It's a great spot for a casual lunch--whether with kids or catching up with a friend.

Yelp
Phone did not eat first which I apologize for but just goes to show how good everything was! We got the chicken wings which had the yummiest sweet and spicy sauce on them. We also got the pork belly boa buns and then the chicken pho. The broth on the pho was so tasty. The restaurant was kinda small but still great service and good vibes. 100% will be back.

Vanessa Z.

Yelp
The pho was the most bland tasting I've ever had. I added a bunch of salt and a ton of hoisin. Plus they were out of basil, wah-wah. And the banh mi was a little dry and lacking like it needed a sauce or mayo of some sort. The bbq pork inside was nice though. The beef bao buns were pretty delicious.

Rhett S.

Yelp
Great food. Friendly service. Will definitely return. Everything we ordered seemed a notch or two above all others starting with the iced tea. Combination Pho , Vermicelli w/ Pork & Egg Rolls and Grilled Pork Spring Rolls were all excellent.
google avatar

Dennis B.

Yelp
Delicious jumbo shrimp fried rice. Egg rolls are wonderful as well. May try the pho next time but that fried rice was sooooo good!!!!
google avatar

Vinh B.

Yelp
The place was small but pretty comfy and well decorated. I had the Bún bò Huế and it was delicious! On top of that, the fried bao buns were a new, yet thrilling experience for me. Highly recommend this place and will be coming back if I go to NOLA again.

Priscilla R.

Yelp
This is my second visit, and I definitely recommend going right when it opens at 10:00 AM. It gets busy around lunchtime, and before you know it, it becomes overcrowded.

Yelp
While my monthly meat order was being lovingly packed up by Mr Mohammed across the street at Houma Market, I came in here to get some lunch. The restaurant is small and offers a great variety of phos and Vietnamese snacks I ordered the round eye beef pho. The bowl was steaming hot and served with an incredible chilli oil. The price was around $13 and was planning to order one of their awesome looking boba teas but was so full that I settled on the pho. Overall a great lunch on a rainy day. I will make this a routine thing when I am down in the neighborhood shopping.

Yelp
Great new pho restaurant in Metairie! Tofu spring rolls, pho ga. Bun bo Hue, CHEFS KISS
