Numéro 3

"This village was once home to famous art dealer Ambroise Vollard, as well as Picabia, Picasso and Cendrars, who is buried here. Julie and Laurent Trochain run their lovely restaurant in a former hunting lodge that they have completely renovated. What a transformation! Gone are the beams, the fireplace and even the traditional façade, replaced by an eminently contemporary, geometrical and designer setting. Laurent Trochain, originally from Maubeuge, trained in some top establishments, not least at Restaurant Pierre Gagnaire. He champions the produce of the Île-de-France region, starting with his own kitchen garden (vegetables and aromatic herbs), and of his beloved small-scale local producers. His vegetarian menu is gaining in popularity." - Michelin Inspector

Awesome restaurant, very classy. The small room is very intimate with very few tables which makes it a very nice moment to enjoy. The prepared meal is as you would expect, their recommendations are as good. The most exciting part is the cheese selection. They have over 20 sorts of cheeses displayed beautifully on a table. All of them are of top quality and definitely a need to try.

Can't say enough about how good this place is, and how lucky we are that it is so close to our house. Everything, and I mean everything, is well thought out and of high quality. A special treat is the variety of wines proposed by the staff are outside of what you would normally buy, and they are excellent. But the real reason to come here is, of course, the amazing modern and surprising cuisine. We discover new tastes and combinations and have great memories each visit. I highly recommend the 5- or 7-course 'chef's menu.' You will be in good hands and enjoy every bite!

Very nice ambiance, quiet and relaxing. The menu offer different types of possibilities: 3 courses, 5 courses....etc...etc... Food quality was good and tasted deliciously. The Staff was kind and the service was attentive. The bread was crunchy and could not resist to eat it continuously, piece after piece. The butter was also delicious. Just two things that could be improved: the john dory fish was cooked a little bit too much, but it tasted really good anyway. The young blond lady could smile a little bit more: clients loves when the Staff smiling to them. We will certainly be back!

I would like to have given Five Stars. Presentation and service are perfect, the first course was creative and very scrumptious, then the main coures arrived which also looked perfect but looks were not enough.I had a pork chop which was just a lump of fat with a scrap of meat and was very dry. My wife had Chicken and it was just wet and tastless. Its a shame because its such a nice place and the service was the best I have had in France.

Decent but certainly not fantastic. Food lacked taste, beef was tough, dessert ultra-sweet. Disappointing and expensive.
