When I tell you I could not find the cake I was looking for anywhere than by god grace I found the best most sweet lady to make the cake. NuNu’s is amazing she helped me right away had the cake made on time. It was the hit off the party was getting asked days after where I got it was so good thank you For the amazing cake amazing customer service and the van more amazing Cake. Made the day. We wrote on the cake she did not don’t pay attention to the bad had writing on the cake that was us but the cake was beautiful and So Good .

The first soul dessert in the Bay Area that does not put a million pounds of sugar in their dishes without sacrificing any flavor and richness at all. The purple sweet potato pie is out of this world. You can taste every spice and the fullness of the very hearty and healthy purple sweet potato. She has the best desserts! We go to NuNu's for every occasion, birthdays, holidays, and we even got our wedding cake from here. Amazing food made by wonderful people. Highly recommended.

Working with her was fantastic, she was accommodating and professional and was clear about her vegan options and pickup was a breeze with a personal touch. On top of all that the cakes were absolutely delicious. The kind of moist and flavorful cakes you can only get from someone who truly cares. If you have a sweet tooth or an event coming up that needs a boost, I can't recommend her enough!

Nunu's sweet potato pie is out of this world. Not too sweet, perfectly baked, and clearly made with love. I will be ordering again! And again, and again, and again...

Nunu now has added dinner selection to her menu. I've recently tried the Cornish hen dinner. Delicious in every bite. Comes with garlic potatoes, North Bay salad with homemade dressing (flavor changes) and 2 rolls. I honestly felt like I was seated at a fine dining restaurant once I've plated it. I highly suggest for you to try the Cornish hen dinner next time you want a dinner date with your significant other or with family and friends. It's like having a personal chef by your side.

We love the memories of delicious desserts from our parents and grandparents kitchens that NuNu's provides. Great food sparks great conversations so we relaxed at the table and shared fond childhood recollections of sweet smells and warm kitchens. We have had cobblers and sweet potato pie and are raving to family, friends, and neighbors. Try NuNu's for dessert and you will love the experience. It's more that just food.

I have ordered so many times and I'm never disappointed. I ordered the chocolate cake last week and omg it was perfect! The peach cobbler was so good. I just love these desserts

I started coming here a few years ago when they only had desserts Apple and Peach Cobbler, Coconut Pineapple and Lemon are my favorites I found this pop-up on Yelp searching for Black Businesses in my area since I was new in the Vallejo area they also follow Covid-19 protocols which is very appropriated I recommend this pop-up

We needed some special dessert on short notice and were enchanted by our experience with Nunus. There was not enough time to order an entire cake or pie so we ordered slices of many types: Yellow, chocolate, Meyer lemon, caramel, lullaby, lemon meringue pie, and they were all delectable!

Ordered via Grubhub. Got the pound cake gluten-free brownie and lullaby cake. Everything is delicious and fresh. Amazing portion sizes- definitely great value! Tastes like homemade. Talk about a lucky find!

I never cared for German Chocolate Cake because it's just too sweet for me. However, I'm taking that back! Since I tasted Nunu's German Chocolate Cake...I will only eat Nunu's Cake! Any kind. She's the best baker in town! I highly recommend it! All her cakes are 5-Stars in my book.

I've been wanting to visit Nunu's Desserts with Soul since we moved to the area. We popped in this last weekend to order my birthday cake (German Chocolate) to be picked up on Wednesday. As we were there we decided to treat ourselves some goodies. I got a slice sweet potato pie and my wife got the vegan brownie. Both were amazing and incredibly generous portions. I'm reviewing on Wednesday after trying my birthday cake and am even more happy! German Chocolate is my favorite and this cake was the cherry on top of my day! Impeccable service, and amazing baked sweets!!

Delicious desserts! We had a variety of different cake and pie slices, very tasty and delicious! We loved the yellow cake with chocolate frosting, lemon meringue, sweet potato, the German chocolate are all AMAZING!!

The desserts are delicious BUT order system thru Yelp via GrubHub failed, failed! Days later receipt emailed from PayPal. No trace of order through Yelp or Grubhub. The owner of nunu called to let me know order was ready. If not for her call would have not known order went through

I had the peach cobble!!!!! Good God from glory! This is the equivalent to grandmas peach cobbler! You will NOT regret that peach cobbler! Best I've had in a long time. Flavorful, great service, glad I ran across this place by doordashing!

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! We ordered the Peach Cobbler for an Oscar party and it was a hit everyone commented on it being the best cobbler they ever had. Trust me it is indeed the best. Ms. Nunu even delivered it nice and warm. Oh so yummy.

I purchased the sugar free dark chocolate cake with the dark chocolate frosting for my husband's birthday. It's oftentimes hit or miss with sugar free baked goods. It's either too sweet and/or has that "chemical-y" after taste. The one made by Nunu's Desserts had neither. It was, honestly, one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had. I'll never buy store bought cakes again. Thank you so much!

I ordered from Nunu's Desserts for the first time yesterday (7/25/2020). I ordered a slice of lemon meringue pie, peach cobbler and black berry cobbler. I've had lemon meringue pie at many places across the globe and honestly Nunu's is one of the best that I've had. ( Well balanced flavor, flaky crust, smooth meringue). I had a bite of each the peach and berry cobbler. Amazing flavors. Friendly, quick service. Great response time to questions asked via fb messenger and she went out of her way to call me for verification on things. Not bad that she also lives close by. A variety of payment options are available so it makes it easier for purchasing. safety precautions are used when items are bagged and face masks are required.

Got the coconut cake with lemon curd -- was my first time ordering from Nunu's and it was AMAZING! Had my sister pick up on my behalf and Nunu was accommodating and easy and quick to communicate with. The cake was moist and perfect -- will definitely be coming back to support this local biz and try the other cakes. 10/10 would recommend.

Oh my goodness! Amazing! My friend bought me some sugar free vegan brownies from Nunu's for my birthday! Simply to die for! So good! Fudgy, chewy, just the right amount sweetness with no weird aftertaste. I wouldn't know that these brownies were vegan or sugar free. I can't wait to try some of the other desserts. Thank you for the delicious experience!

My cousin ordered a cake from Nunu's desserts with soul. Typically Nunu sells her cake by the slide and whole pie due to limited space in her store. Nunu went above and beyond to meet our last minute order. We ordered a yellow cake with chocolate frosting. It was moist and delicious. Would definitely order from Nunu's desserts with soul again.

By far the best cakes and pies in the Bay Area. I recently tried a Vegan pound cake from Nunu's and it was amazing. Not only is she is great at her craft she is also a very kind person who puts 100% into her craft. Thank you!

I love Nunu's desserts. I often stop by the Berkeley Flea Market to pick up a slice of her 7-up cake. I've also ordered giftcards for her desserts as business thank you gifts. Her cakes are always a hit at family & work gatherings and I like that she can do hand delivery in the Bay Area!

I needed a 7UP cake at the last minute for get-together, I saw her bakery on Yelp, so I thought I would give it a try. They were out of 7UP cake, but she recommended her brown butter bundt cake. It was a hit and we all loved it. Plus we tried a slice of the coconut cake with lemon curd and the peach cobbler. That was the best coconut cake I ever had and peach cobbler was delicious. Plus, the customer service was outstanding!!!!!

Best Vegan Peach Cobbler EVER!!! Seriously, Nunu knows!!! Her cobbler is the best I've ever had. The flavor is on-point. The peaches are perfectly sweet, the crust is just the right amount and the spices set it all off. Vegan desserts are a rarity in Vallejo. Wish more of her desserts were vegan. So glad to of found Nunu's. And on top of that Mrs. Nunu is super nice and kind! Don't hesitate to try her desserts and support this small local business!

First, I have to say I this is the best customer service I have ever experienced!! The Carmel cake is delicious!!! Perfectly balanced! Not too sweet. I couldnt believe the 7-up cake is sugar-free. Very light and fluffy! Love, love, love the cakes and the service. If you are reading this review you must check it out and see for yourself! You won't be disappointed! I highly recommend this bakery and will definately be back!

I have bought a few cakes / desserts from Nunu's Desserts and I've been pleased with every one of them. The last one I bought from her was the butter bundt cake, when I took my first bite, It brought back memories of my childhood growing up and running around my aunt's kitchen as she baked those wedding cakes. I would recommend her desserts to anyone who loves good ol' homemade cakes.

Happy 2016! I attended a New Year's Eve get-together last night and was presented a cake from Nunu's desserts. (Support small businesses! *star*) A first for me- an EGGNOG bundt cake generously drizzled with frosting and sprinkled with cinnamon nutmeg. The cake looked lovely (It did*star*). It was firm and dense... We were served slices right before the count down. Whilst grateful and ruminating the past year - I took a bite. The cinnamon, the nutmeg... Came true. (Edited after another slice).

MAN!!! Just like momma use to make it, I had the peach cobbler and it was very GOOD, while at the berkeley flea market I had a taste for something sweet and home made, but did not know that I was going to be taking back to the old south,like the staples singers would sang I'II TAKE YOU THERE, NU NU WILL TAKE YOU THERE!!!! The flavor of her cakes and pies, tells you that this is no Safeway treats. In these times you don't find a pie and cake ARTIST that puts it down like this, so I had to bring some home only to hide it from the others around me because it will be GONE!!!

Delicious and comforting with the best ingredients. Nunu makes her desserts with love and it shows! My favorite place to pick up some blackberry cobbler or rum cake when I'm in Berkeley. Also, Nunu offers great drinks and even a little spot to sit and enjoy your desserts! Overall, great place and good prices.
