A sweet little grocery store to try out. It is a local favorite. They have all their own groceries and produce as well as all kinds of fresh meats that are already seasoned. This place is amazing and so down to earth. The employees are great too!

Love this store! Lots of great food items to choose from, especially their deli counter and meat selection.

This place gets very packed! If you can tolerate the people and shoulder to shoulder crowds then they have some good stuff in here. The meat selection is good as is the plate lunches. Employes's are somewhat friendly.

Good go to / pick up last minute items. They usually have everything you need. Meat department always good. Plenty of staff, super helpful and friendly.

A great experience for a busload of tourists on a Cajun Food Tour. All kinds of specialty meats and deli delights! Staff was great and welcomed everyone to the store. A local's favorite and easy to see why.

I came for the first time on July 3rd, and I LOVE THIS GROCERY STORE!!!!!!! Great customer service, too! Ya'll are doing a great job with the pre-made food selections, as well. I bought an olive loaf which was absolutely delicious! Buttered garlic base on the bread with the olives and cheese on top--YUMMY! My boyfriend and I picked up on some sausage, too. I will definitely be a patron of Nunu's from here on out! SoOOOOooo MUCH better than Rouse's!!!!!

I wanted to bring to your attention an experience I had during my most recent visit to Nunu's in Youngsville. When I came into the store earlier, I could clearly hear employees in the back arguing with one another. The situation was loud enough to be heard from the shopping area, and I found it to be very unprofessional and quite disturbing while I was trying to shop. As a customer, I expect a certain level of professionalism and respect, especially from a local grocery store that prides itself on serving the community. Hearing employees raise their voices and argue openly gives a negative impression and makes the environment uncomfortable for shoppers. Because of this experience, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I recently shopped at Rouses and found the staff there to be noticeably more professional, courteous, and friendly. The cashiers were polite, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant -- exactly what customers hope to find in their local grocery store. I am thoroughly disappointed with the experience I had at Nunu's in Youngsville, and based on this incident, I am unlikely to return. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the behavior of the staff to ensure other customers don't encounter the same issue.

We stopped here on a food tour. The sausage samples we had were wonderful and we bought sausage and other cajun goods to take home. I could shop here regularly - an interesting deli and wonderful foods in the grocery store.

Best store ever - my first stop in ACADIANA when I go home for a visit. It wouldn't be home without Nunu's.

Great items, terrible service. My two daughters went into Nunus to buy lunch for the day. They were having trouble with the card and the cashier was standing there laughing being no help to them. They eventually called me and I helped them pay.

. This NuNu's has both in-house meats/charcuterie section and LeJeune Bakery sections. Boudin varies widely in taste. Their private-label gumbos, soups, etc. are consistently good. Some dairy items seem absurdly expensive. The main Entry/Exit of the building can be confusing. Plenty parking in large paved lot. I visit often for specific items, but find the store too expensive overall for routine shopping. A good place for some Cajun specialties. Rick .

Best Bourbon selection in the area. They also have more store pick bottles than anyone else in Lafayette as well. I'd easily rather go here than to the unnamed place that rhymes with Potal Bine.

Helpful staff, easy parking, and a good selection of Cajun meat and seafood. Better overall than most similar Acadiana markets.

I'm from out of town, and I wish I could take this store home with me! They have a wall of meat cuts, seasoned and not, and a great selection of spices and fresh produce. It's really easy to stop in and pick up ingredients for a fresh, healthy meal at home. Or if you want to eat something ready made from the deli, there are even tables outside. I was excited by the selection of fresh sushi. I hastily purchased some Cajun sushi for lunch, and it was very tasty. They have a big liquor and wine selection. I shopped here during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, and they had toilet paper and eggs, unlike Walmart.

Cajun grocery! I brought a cooler just to haul this place's food hundreds of miles across state lines. This place is the best for Cajun food. Seriously. They make a lot of their own foods here. I ended up getting a stack of sausages that I'd never seen before. Strawberry and pineapple pork sausages were surprise hits! They've got a huge spread of different boudin sausage- they're even a destination on the Boudin Trail. I managed to get a crawfish boudin stuffed turkey for Thanksgiving here. The grocer also sells a healthy selection of liquor- and they've got a bunch of local distiller's stuff here. I was happy to find Bayou Distilling and Tabasco Dickel here! Speaking of Tabasco- they have nearly the whole gamut of Tabasco sauces and jellies! Nom! Plus, they had a huge variety of random cajun seasonings and hot sauces. I really enjoyed looking through their frozen section- which makes it easy to get home. I got some of the Natchitoches meat pies, which are the Louisiana state meat pie. They also sell frozen gumbo and jambalaya in big tubs to go. If you're a Cajun foodie, this is THE place in all of Louisiana to get your merchandise! Everything here is beyond delicious. Online you can find their weekly ad and specials. They're always selling something great here. They've got a bakery, with things like bread pudding and big cookies that say, "Meh"

5-stars for the best boudin around! AND I asked about shipping to us Cajuns who moved out of state and they DO ship it as well!!! Woohoooooo!!!

The thing I miss most about living in Lafayette part time for work is NUNUUUUUS!!!!! Where to start? I'm obsessed with all of their meats!! Favorites include the Ribeye bites, Chicken Patties & Stuffed Chickens!! Honestly, I could list their entire store, but I'll let your taste buds do the walking. Just to give you an idea w my NuNus obsession, I drive 5 hours round trip once every month or two to stock up my freezer. The store is clean, full of local delights & almost like a museum for those not from the area! Who can I talk to about Shipping?? I need to ship your food all around the country to inspire world peace!!! Seriously!!

Great deli and staff to boot. Ample selection of local favorites, both hot and cold deli with great local variety. Affordable prices, clean store, and good parking. outdoor seating is nice if you get a tasty treat from the deli that you can't wait to get home. Every time we go, this is a place to visit.

My wife and I must admit, we weren't aware of this newer location of NuNu's and mostly by location and familiarity go to the "Rous..." and some other local specialty meat shops for our specialty meats. However, we were very impressed with the selection of meats. The boudin, cracklings, smoked sausage and even the "chicken patties" were all excellent. We need to go back and get another round to make sure this awesome experience wasn't a fluke but my review and rating reflect how strongly we feel that this place has some of the best foods and meats in he Parish. I strongly recommend that visitors to the area also put this place on your "must visit" list of places to stop into. Get a link of boudin, 1/2 pound of cracklings and some smoked sausage (all at the deli) and make your tummy love you. Enjoy!

New place on the block that came highly recommended by my dad. We stopped there to get some Cajun dish fixins and wound up with more goodies than expected. They also have a really good variety of craft beers, which was a surprise, so I loaded up on my La brewery stock. I will be back next time I'm in town.

You have to get here before 8:30p since they pack up the hot food and place in a basket for quick sale. 50% off all hot food except the boudin. The basket boudin was still some of the best tasting I have had in Louisiana or Texas. I would recommend this place again and again.

Just drove down here to this fresh market. I'm going to grill out tonight with some friends and wanted a few good cuts of meat. Another great thing about this place is they have the best butchers here. Service is traditional and friendly. I normally just buy meat for these occasions from wal mart. But, I got wind of this place from a co worker. Great place. Thanks again Nu Nu's!

Discussting meat, old meat is heavily seasoned to hide aging. Smoked pork sausage out dated and ranked! Isles are very narrow and constantly having to move out of the way. Everything is over priced!

Nunu's is the best fresh market in Youngsville. The staff is pretty down to earth, but the boudin is out of this world! It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the Youngsville area.

Cute little grocery store right outside of Lafayette, LA located in a quaint quiet suburb, this grocery store gives you that old small town feeling where everyone knows you and you know everyone the same. I ordered 10 lbs of boudin from their butcher shop, and the women behind the counter were very friendly and helpful once they saw me. ( I'm very short and a big robust man behind me called out to the ladies when they didn't see me standing there.) The boudin is very flavorful and fully cooked. Pop it in the microwave for a minute and you're good to go w/some saltines and hot sauce. The store is very reasonably priced for boudin, they also have cracklins there but they were extremely expensive (about 11 dollars for 3 oz) but maybe I'll try it next time.

My favorite place to buy meats. Cuts are always great, and meat is always fresh. Tons of pre-seasoned items to throw on the grill, and one of my favorite places for boudin in Acadiana. Beer/liquor selection is also on point!

I was getting ready to check out at a register and was putting my items on the register and as soon as I was, the blonde lady behind the register starts spraying down the belt and then asks me to go to another register. It was the rude attitude for me. Highly disappointed in the people they are hiring

I checked in specifically to add my review. Nunu's in Youngsville is my favorite grocery store. Period. The meats and produce are as fine as you'll find anywhere, the wine selection is outstanding and the folks are so warm and friendly that you can't help but love the place. By the way, I Live in St. Louis, so it's not exactly next door to me.

We stopped in on our way to Shreveport. This place is great! Everyone is very friendly. We loaded up on sausage and meat. This will be a regular stop when we come through.

I love this meat market!! They always have a great variety seafood and meat dishes. I can not get enough of the seasoning they use on their products..just the right amount of heat. The stuffed fish and stuffed chicken are a MUST and you cannot leave without trying the boudin. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

I'm 31 and I've been coming to Louisiana for 31 years. Hands down BEST boudin I've ever had. I wish they shipped!!!!!

This is the best Boudin on the planet. I get a case at a time= and they ship it in dry ice to my door. If you haven't had it then you should try it. You will not be disappointed. They also sell their own seasoning mix that is pretty tasty to.

You can't beat their meat. The fresh sausage is so damn good. The lunch is amazing. The alcohol selection is the best around.

One of the best liquor selections in the greater Lafayette area and the guys area. Always bringing in new stuff and talking to customers about what they would like to see. Great meats in the grocery store as well....! Would be my only grocery store if their was a little better produce selection!

Without a doubt this place and the other locations all have the best boudin in the state. They so sell groceries but you really need to try their boudin, all of the locals know this is the place to go for boudin.

Great local grocery store with food service. The lunches are popular. The boudin is some of the best in the area. The chili dogs are off the chart. Nunu's makes its own sausages, boudin, seasonings, etc... Definitely worth a stop if you are in the Lafayette area. I wish I was there longer so that I could try some of the other offerings during lunch. Actually saw a tour group (with local guide) walk through the store on Sunday.

Best sausage you will ever grill. The people working here were amazing. They vaccum sealed all my sausage for my trip back to Texas.

Very proud to have this market in Youngsville. Great selection of quick food items as well as superior meats. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the store is very clean and well stocked and organized. NuNus is a big supporter of our community. I appreciate that as well.

I am from New Orleans but am of Cajun descent. Whenever I'm visiting my mom in Erath it's a MUST to pick up a case of Nunu's boudin, pack my icechest and head back home with the BEST BOUDIN ON EARTH! Love you guys! Les Le Bon temp roulette
