As a five star hotel, one still can tell there is a gap in service level compared to others. An example is when I asked the bellman to take luggages and help my parents to their room, he looked surprised/unexpected. Later, when I asked the same person about the direction to a restaurant, he simply told me he doesn’t know. It turned out that the restaurant is next door, 10 meters to the left after going out of the gate. I had a hard time believing the response I got and intentionally told the same person about whereabout of the restaurant after I came back to confirm my perception, and the facial response I got tells me he doesn’t care. This is a startling contrast to other 5 star hotels.
