"Exquisite chandeliers add visual appeal to this high-ceilinged yet understated room, enveloped in Chinese ink murals and carved wood windows. The main menu is predominantly Cantonese, with occasional offerings from other provinces and seasonal items that keep it fresh. The executive chef from Hong Kong who worked in a number of hotels in Beijing shows astute judgment in signatures like crispy roast chicken, and poached prawns in a superior broth." - Michelin Inspector

It's not fair to only give this hotel five stars in comparison to most five star hotels around the world. This hotel is at a different level so if you have high expectations, they will certainly be met. The place is magnificent, meticulously kept, clean, And has everything you will need for your trip close by. The staff are the best you will ever experience. They are watching you at all times to see if you have any needs. You will not be carrying anything during your walk through the lobby all the way to your room. Any special requests are immediately met. Everyone speaks English. The food is excellent and special requests were no problem and were done correctly. My room was un believable. A probably 30 foot floor to window view of Beijing with electric blinds that are blackout for nighttime, but which go up in the morning and provide magnificent views. The bathroom looks like it was built for an emperor and the water pressure is the best I've ever experienced. I'm sure it's not good for the planet, but it was an amazing week in that shower. my coworker loved the tub in her room and used it almost every night overlooking the night sky of Beijing and all of the city lights.||Admittedly, I don't see well in the dark, but my one suggestion to the hotel would be to think about increasing lighting in the elevators. I could not see the buttons at all without my phones flashlight.||Overall, this was an amazing hotel experience and it made for a much better business trip. This will be the only hotel I'll stay at for future trips.

Another great stay-this was my 3rd lengthy visit in 3 months. The executive club rooms are fabulous and the lounge is above expectation. Food is changing daily and is superior. It is like a home meal with diversity of food. Bar service is outstanding. MUCH nicer overall than Kempinski Lufthansa center. Registration was very easy and professional. Connor checked me in and had prepared for a quick process. He accommodated me for everything I needed in the city, even securing me my train ticket to Hangzhou. Most exceptional work was trains were not leaving the city and he called me and checked on me hourly giving me updates regarding my delayed train. When the train was canceled he made me an immediate reservation to stay more days due to delayed train travel. This is beyond the hotel's actual responsibility and incredible customer service. Thanks to the GM- Alex Pichel for training his management team to truly care about his customers.I would definitely recommend this hotel for business travelers or even for vacationing in Beijing. It is a quieter part of the city which is cozy as well but not far from embassies and business areas.

The club lounge was peaceful and the service was exceptional. The lounge boasted Chinese and Western fair for dinner. Roasted meats like lamb and rib roast were cooked with care. We were surprised with the fresh pastas. Truly luxurious hotel with great service and kind staff. We were greeted by Johnny, the host in the lounge, and he brought our drinks we liked without even asking. The manager, Alex Pichel, took care of our every wish, checking in on us daily.

Excellent stay! Hotel and rooms are amazing and in a good location with many restaurants around to choose from. One thing was that there were no USB outlet to charge phones, etc. so important to bring your own adaptor to plug in. Otherwise perfect stay.

This holiday I decided to do a staycation with friends and the Nuo hotel was so cozy. During this time of the year many like myself get a little homesickness. It was nice to have a trusted place to stay. Frank and his team are always helpful. They assist you on and off the clock. There is always a variety of foods for everyone’s diet, and the rooms are always clean and well equipped. I just need to know where to get those duvets. They are heavenly to sleep on.🥰

I stayed in the NUO in Wanjing for two nights during a business trip. It was really awesome. The Hotel is a perfect combination of luxury with a Chinese Touch.|The Hotel Room was one of the most impressive I have ever been in. Dominated by dark wood, a large and comfy bed, an efficient workplace, a super-nice dressing area and a wonderful bathroom ( best rainforest shower i have ever been in). The level for detail they put into every feature is amazing. |My room was to the East, so I had a chance to see the Beijing sunrise and have morning sun in my room.|Breakfast was also fantastic, incredible variety and precision in the preparation of the food. |The NUO also has a great bar on the fifth floor, where you get great cocktails. |Overall a fantastic experience- this is especially worth mentioning since the NUO is not overpriced. You will get such value for money hardly anywhere else - it was only 1000 RMB per night.|The Hotel also has a fantastic design.
