Wow! The most delicious walnuts I have ever had! It is because they were so fresh! I am always satisfied with anything I have tried from here! It's a great local shop with so many options to choose from.

Google
Gina, thank you so much for handling my order via phone by proxy. Your patience and pleasant demeanor along with your professionalism reminds me why I love this store. Thanks again, you are truly a gem❣️

Great selection of nuts, trail mix, chocolates, and more!

Had my first visit back at Nuts to You after living outside of Philly for the last six years, and I'm glad to see they're still around! I'm a big fan of their snack mixes (I usually go for Sweet Heat) and I appreciate that they have some old reliable choices like yogurt-covered pretzels and sour patch kids, too. The associates were really polite and the store was clean and organized.

Great place, people behind the counter great service

Google
So helpful in store and on the phone! Carry a lot of candies, popcorn and even seasonings. Went to get 2lbs raw peanuts to make boiled peanuts. They had fine grain salt, I got jalapeno pistachios and autumn nonpareils. Also some candycorn pumpkins. Everything was 22 dollars! Great place!

Google
Great selection but over priced

Google
Good selection of dry goods-from legumes to candy. Buy in bulk-pound or half pound options. Great selection. I don't think you have the option to select organic or locally grown-so if this is your thing, then find a nearby whole foods instead...

Shelly V.

Yelp
Gina is so pleasant and helpful every time I am there. Large assortment of candy, chocolate, nuts, grains, honey, spices, GF pretzels, the best popcorn . Organized Clean Pricing is clearly displayed Great package Rewards program

Yelp
Great place for nuts, dried fruit, and good interesting candy. I used to go to the Nuts to You store at 13th & Walnut but that closed, so I now come to this one. The nuts are great quality and less expensive than available elsewhere. I used to buy almonds pecans and walnuts at whole foods. They are less expensive here. Or I would get them in bulk from Costco, but they are much better quality here. And they have shelled hazelnuts, which I can't find anywhere else and used to buy from Amazon by mail order. They carry a nice range of dried fruit at reasonable prices. I particularly love the Turkish Figs, Medjol Dates, and Flame Raisins. Occasionally I will get some of the candy - particularly chocolate-covered nuts - which are amazing (but too addictive!). Furthermore they are more reasonably priced here than just about any place else.

Yelp
"Oh! This place is great!" FDC commented as she steered me into this tiny storefront by Washington Square. "We can pick up some snacks for everyone". With this, I was ushered into what is possibly the neatest tiny nuts and snack store I have ever been in. What do I mean by neat? Well, not wild jumbles of bagged nuts, candies and seasonings. Everything was stacked efficiently on shelves and in cubbies, each with a clear label and price. The store was laid out...logically, with nuts grouped together, chocolates, candies, etc. Their standout item was definitely their homemade popcorn. Yeah, most people consider popcorn a generic item but in the hands of these folks its definitely much better. They have the right salt balance and the popcorn is not squishy-stale. I can see why they sell quite a bit of it. FDC and I left with our treasures, most of them made it home but a few were needed as emergency rations on our ride home. Emergency here meaning, we were hungry. Staff were friendly and unobtrusive, which is saying something given that the store is, well, cozy. Parking? HAHAHAHAHAHA. This is Washington Square. Take transit, or be prepared to stalk spots on nearby streets and then walk. It's not a car-friendly part of town but it is gorgeous. It's above the standard for this type of store, and a place I would definitely go to again when in the city.

Yelp
Ordered some items from them, and I am not impressed. I ordered some chocolate Easter eggs from them, and the things came in a box, and the product was not even sealed in any type of protective covering, and cost $60.00 for 6 of them, that's 10 dollars each, not including shipping.

Verna S.

Yelp
Ordered my products online, quite a variety of items including wasabi peas and milk chocolate covered sea salt cashews. They even had an October special shipping rate which I applied, even though it was December and lo and behold, it was still good. I was totally expecting my goodies to arrive in the plastic baggies they use in the stores. Imagine my surprise when they came in these resealable trendy bags, each with a little window to see the treats AND a little label on the outside to let you know what was in the bag. Very cute packaging!! Delivery was 2 days as advertised, the box was neatly packed and I was verry happy with my purchase. I probably will continue to shop the website because it's much easier than trying to drive around center city looking for a parking spot!!!

David W.

Yelp
I frequently stop in here for bulk purchase of nuts and dried fruit items. My only complaint is the lack of organic options, otherwise I'd give 5 stars. When I've comparison shopped their prices, I've found that you're paying far too much if you're buying these items in smaller, non-bulk quantities at supermarkets. Medjool dates are a favorite, very high quality. Nuts to You is particularly good if you're looking for candy items for Xmas holidays - I've outfitted more than one gingerbread house with their large variety of hard candies, including Necco wafers for roof shingles.

Bill M.

Yelp
Best name for a couple of Philly stores ever! And it's hands down the best place to go for bulk products since it gives you nuts and then some! Nuts To You has so many bins of goodness that you could spend an hour debating on what bags your going to walk away with. After all it simultaneously channels your inner being who craves Pistachios, chocolate raisins, gummi bears, and movie style popcorn all at once. you might. And all of the prices that it offers up are pretty reasonable. Do what I did back in the day of working two blocks away and bring a couple of friends you can mutually share the big bags of decadence. Nuts to us everyone!

H K.

Yelp
This place is a true bulk store located in the heart of a city. They have bare-bones plastic bags full of sweet and savory snacks at incredibly cheap prices. I love their 1 pound bags of popcorn kernels for .99 cents. The freshness of everything is a little suspect but it's all shelf-stable products.

Mary Kate R.

Yelp
3rd times a charm for Nuts to You, because the past 2 times I have tried to go they were closed!! I should have checked Yelp before for hours, I know. The selection of goodies here is crazy. I looked like a lunatic because I kept picking bags up and putting them down, being my typical indecisive self! For ~$18 I got dark choc covered pretzels, soft peppermints, honey roasted almonds, and irish potatoes. I do wish you could scoop things out of barrels so I did not have to get so much but hey, it will get eaten eventually. Now I have so many study snacks, I have no excuse not to study...

Paul K.

Yelp
Nuts and seeds--what more do you need? BTW--A recent New England Journal of Medicine study found a strong correlation between the daily consumption of nuts and longevity.

Martha M.

Yelp
What's nut to love? This is the perfect store for gift giving especially around the holidays (now that summer is almost over...) They have something for everyone...any kind of nut you could imagine: candy, dried fruits....I always come here when I need a gift....or just a snack! Usually sold by the pound, they have such a wide selection for everyone. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Yelp
This review is for the 13th and Walnut location (as I could not find it listed). Nuts to You (all of its locations, really) is just unmatched in terms of quality, quantity, and price. Providing a massive supply of nuts, trail mixes, dried fruit, chocolate and yogurt covered everything, baking supplies, snack mixes, jellies, jams, peanut butter, and candy, Nuts to You is the cleanest and least expensive place in the city to get your snack on. Most items you can get in either one pound or half pound increments. I recommend just about any of the trail mixes, their yogurt covered pretzels, and dried cherries. Oh and on your way out don't forget to try whatever sample they have out at the cash register! :D

Chris B.

Yelp
I needed roasted UNSALTED shelled pistachios for a recipe (pistachio crusted lamb chops) and Nuts to You came through. Not just nuts for snacking and cooking/baking, but lots of other candy and snacks. They've got those little sesame sticks that I would hunt & pick out of those 'asian' mixes when I was a kid. If you want to make your own mix, you can even get those dried peas...with or without wasabi powder. Service was great too...pointing out that she had three different versions of shelled pistachios so that I was sure which kind I was buying. Skip Whole Foods bulk for this place.

Yelp
This is a first impressions review. I haven't had the opportunity to visit as of yet however I have benefited from others that have gone. I told my father in love to pick me up some hot peanuts from there. I thought they would be the boiled ones like we have in the south but they were dried. At first I was disappointed and told him to bring whatever they had. When I got my bag of Wasabi nuts I did what most people do when they have dried nuts, I tried to crack them. It didn't work. I cracked it open with my teeth and a shot of wasabi shot up my nose I said wow! The peanut inside was sweet and I dumped the shell. Bad idea because when I gave one to my friend to try she went to bite it with her teeth and realized that it was an edible shell. My life was instantly changed at that time. When I ate the entire people I was transported to a place of people ecstasy!! It was amazing. I love them!!! Thanks Nuts to You! I can't wait to visit!

Alice L.

Yelp
NUTS! Nuts To you! and to me and to them, Nuts to everyone! Nuts to You has the freshest dried fruits and nuts around. I love stopping by when I visit Philly. The unsalted popcorn is pretty darn delicious (and addiciting) as well. And if you happen to have a sweet tooth, they have candies and chocolate! It's a one stop shop for everything! Woooo!

Jen L.

Yelp
Chocolate covered salted caramels!! Updating my review again 1 1/2 years later with another 5 star review. I love that they have started adding more chocolate covered goodies, well love/hate cause they're dangerously addictive. I limit my chocolate purchases here to once a month. I love the monthly specials and go here weekly to get snacks to eat at my desk at work. For the work snacks I usually stick with the nuts and snack mixes since they're all tasty and healthy. I'll keep supporting Nuts to You forever and ever.

Tom M.

Yelp
This is where I go for my almonds. I stay away from some of the other treats though. some of the other candy can be a bit dangerous to my waist line. The prices are good and nuts always fresh. My only complaint here is in the times I've gone in, the staff there always seems disinterested. Like I'm interrupting their conversation to take my money.

Joshua R.

Yelp
While obviously full of a selection of nuts, but also really affordable selection of bulk candy (gummies in particular).

Arty E.

Yelp
The store is small but the staff is friendly and helpful. They have a Great selection of nuts, dried fruit and candy. Which are all reasonably priced. There is something for everyone and You can't walk out without purchasing something.

Jana S.

Yelp
This review is actually for the 721 Walnut location! Just so you know. :) I love Nuts to You. Their prices are fantastic: for just a few bucks, you can walk out with an enormous bag of walnuts, flaxseeds, or Tootsie Pops (no joke). They seem to have pretty much every nut-type substance under the sun, as well as some mixed nuts/party mix-type things, candy of various sorts, and some random fancy French jam or something. I wasn't a huge fan of the jam (farmers' markets win in this category), but everything else is awesome. The employees are helpful, too! I'm somehow completely incapable of locating anything in this store, but they always know exactly where everything is. A warning, though, if you opt for the big ol' bag of Tootsie Pops: more than a few in a row and you'll wind up with a nasty case of Cap'n Crunch mouth. Just saying.

carlie s.

Yelp
Great location. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. This location is smaller than the locations yet they have wide range of products. If this location does not carry what your looking for they will do their best to help you find what you are searching for at the other locations.

Christina S.

Yelp
I walked into NTY due to the fact that I had time to kill before my pick up lunch order was ready. Assuming it was going to be some fancy store with overpriced items, I wasn't expecting on doing anything more than browsing. Welllllllll.... boy was I wrong. This place is great! Expensive?? Not in the least. I picked up some wasabi peas, roasted soybeans, roasted edamame, and roasted peanuts-both the light and dark kind. I approached the register, and walked out with a FULL bag of items for under ten dollars. YES! They also have candies, trail mixes, random snacks.. and to my surprise, they have lentils and things like that too! NTY is going to be my new favorite place for a while.

Joe H.

Yelp
OK, so my "Nuts to You" location is not listed but really, who cares? I visit the one on Walnut near 13th and what's not to love about it? Great snacks-a-go-go! I love shelled peanuts and the variety is wonderful from lightly roasted, dark roasted to dark, dark roasted. I wish I could remember the employee's name who was so helpful one day but I'm sorry, I cannot. They had some hand made candies behind the counter and not only did she offer me one but after doing so, she gave me the name and contact information of the woman who made them in case I cared to order some. I love that the store seems to be clean also. Especially with bulk foods and even more so with nuts, it's easy to have bugs and a lot of other unpleasant creatures. I've never seen a trace of any such varmint, dag nabbit! Prices are very reasonable.

Grace L.

Yelp
Great prices, great quality, great selection and very helpful staff. And as Jen L. said - this place can be VERY DANGEROUS if you work/live nearby. This location is less than 1 block away from my work and when I was about to hibernate and study for the bar exam, I spent no less than $40 on all sorts of goodies, from chocolate covered sunflower seeds to runts (bananas are my favorite!) to quinoa to sugarfree candy to chocolate covered pretzels...get the point? I've easily spent most of my lunch hour perusing the many items they have on their shelves, and they keep adding new stuff!! Love gummies? They have gummy worms, cherrys, sour gummies, gummy bears, gummy fruit, gummy everything! Want something chocolate covered? How about white, dark or milk chocolate covered everything? The staff is always willing to weigh the goods and moderate the amount if I don't need as much or if I want a certain $$ amount. The quality of the goods is excellent and rivals many health food stores which may you pay a premium bc it's "healthy food." Also, this is the one place where freshly popped popcorn doesn't turn my stomach (like those microwave packs that ppl continue to pop at work...ugh). And...recently as I was checking out the goods, I heard whispers of an expansion...an EXPANSION?! Could cause a serious dent in my wallet.

Meg R.

Yelp
A colleague brought me here on our lunch break today. I didn't need anything...but walked out with cashews, dried apricots, and sun dried tomatoes! All for under $10. So far the apricots and cashews have been fresh and delicious. Can't wait to cook with the sun dried tomatoes. Excited that there's a location near my house too- will definitely be a regular customer from now on!

Chrissy R.

Yelp
Love this store. It's a dried fruit and nuts utopia. Everything is reasonably priced and everyone is so friendly in this store.

Natalie H.

Yelp
Ok, so i have to say it, I'm Nuts for Nuts to You. Great quality of nuts, dried fruit, candy, honey, and chocolate covered yummies. Relish fresh popped popcorn. Seasonal fun goodies. And best of all (yes, Theres moré ) is the great customer service. The people there are super friendly and always make me feel glad that I stopped by ( well, that and the dark chocolates almonds ( :

Veronica M.

Yelp
I can't deny that this place has an amazing selection of nuts, popcorn, candy, chocolates, dried fruits, crackers, baking supplies, oats.. the list is seemingly endless. It's a little overwhelming to step inside, because the shelves are packed full and to the ceiling with choices. The prices are reasonable, though I do think some of the chocolate-covered nuts are a little overpriced. And the service here is actually pretty decent, which is something that I have found seriously lacking in Philadelphia since I moved here. My problem with this store, however, is in the quality of the goods. I bought chocolate-covered pretzel balls and "gourmet" malt balls.. the pretzels taste reminiscent of dog food (or, at least, the way I imagine dog food would taste) and the malt powder in the malt balls was stale. I came back on a separate occasion to buy nuts, since I had heard some good things about them, but the peanuts are kind of lacking in favor. Nuts to You is a good place to pick up snacks, but they're not necessarily great.

Steve M.

Yelp
The best corner store for the best prices. Have all the nuts and other little treats you could need in nice size bags. I don't think there's a better place to get nuts at such reasonable prices anywhere else in the city.

Joe M.

Yelp
This is one place that is definitely unassuming. Its near a fav Middle eastern restaurant and so I always cruise by.. SO cool inside, and super friendly. If you are a snacker, this is the place for you. They have all kinds of nuts, blends of nuts, trailmix, candy, pretty much everything and so much more. The prices are extremely reasonable, and you can get everything by however much weight you want, usually 1/2 to 1 lb size. I got white chocolate pretzels. They also are the first place I've found to get this cool French jam my sister turned me on to, St. Dalfour. IT's all natural and super yumms. SO ... go get Nuts up on ya bad self!!!

James W.

Yelp
Place is nice and clean. They got all the nuts you want pretty much. Price is ok. I bought a bag of Shelled pistachios. The nuts were wet and not very crisp. I don't think it's a rare case. Maybe their other products are good. DON'T BUY SHELLED PISTACHIOS.

Carol K.

Yelp
This store (and I'm referring to all locations) is as good as it gets if you're a snacker. They have nuts, dried fruit, granola blends, bulk candy, spices, rice/oats/quinoa, a variety of chocolate (chunks or chips) for baking, honey, cereal bars, freshly popped popcorn... you name it. If you walk in here and can leave without buying something, more power to you. Prices are very reasonable. Service is efficient but friendly. One of my favorite places in to shiop in the city.

Angela E.

Yelp
I love their selection of nuts, seeds, and chocolate covered everything! They have a lot of candy, too.

K. D.

Yelp
Candy by the half pound or pound, all bagged. You will find gummi bears, sharks, cherries, mike and ike's, chocolate covered pretzels, raisins, nuts, sour patch kids, red hot dollars, and so much more. Whenever we have a slow day at work, I will run down to Nuts to you and grab a few bags of candy for the office to munch on. They do not have snickers, milky way or reece's pb cups- or anything like that. It's mostly bulk candy bagged. The giant bags of pop corn are $1.50 and will last a while.

Colleen M.

Yelp
I love Nuts to You! They have a good selection of bulk goods like candy, trail mix, etc. However, my favorite thing is their popcorn. It's cheap, fresh and awesome. I used to keep a bag on my desk at work and just gorge on the stuff. One of my co-workers ate nothing but Nuts to You popcorn for lunch for a solid couple of months. It's an addiction.

Kathie S.

Yelp
I work only a block and a half from this place and wish I didn't, since it's all too easy to wander (or waddle) over there on my lunch break. It's an awesome place, though. It's fun to browse through all the different dried fruits, jellies, and trail mixes. I get my bar mix, sesame sticks, malt balls (the higher quality ones are great), dried fruit, and seasonal holiday candies here, among other things. They even sell Jelly Babies (and at a great price!), a British candy that I've only found at import stores. The quality is wonderful, the prices are even better, and the employees have been very personable and helpful.

Ashley T.

Yelp
my co-workers and i frequent this store a few times a week for the popcorn at $1.50. they have a huge selection of candy and dried fuit and nuts. love this place and the associates are funny and nice.

Sally f.

Yelp
i have to go here at least once a week to have something to munch on at work. what a great selection of snack mixes, dried fruit, candy...and nuts and pocorn of course!

Stephanie L.

Yelp
This long standing, independent business provides nuts, grains, dried fruit, munchies, sweets, and special surprises at costs way below those in the supermarket. They package almost everything in-house, saving the customer the cost of bulky packages. The staff members are terrific - helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. The owners are caring and thoughtful. However, they could probably double revenues with some simple publicity strategies. for one thing, many university students, who depend on affordable, high carb food, don't know about this store. So some well-placed flyers and/or ads at all of the nearby colleges and universities would probably yield some good results. Also, business travelers love stores like this because they can buy small portions and not have to pay exorbitant grocery costs just to have some snacks. So placing cards, flyers, etc. in all of the local hotels, b.and.bs., and hostels would also be fruitful. While businesses are all rushing to facebook etc., now, often the quickest way to find new customers is with well placed ads at local kiosks (ie. not newspapers), but actual places - train and bus stations, bicycle shops, bulletin boards at gyms, larger laundromats, apartment building and office buildings. Finally, letting major companies know what you can offer for their meetings and parties would probably go far. Most companies's newer, younger workers don't want donuts and coffee - and would be probably thrilled to have a choice of some of Nuts To you's famous high energy mixes. We are lucky to have this retailer and I hope they hold the fort and continue to do well.
