When I visited the San Francisco Bay Area my friends and I converged on the wonderful and inspiring farmers market. The local people were friendly and welcoming to me and my friends. They shared samples of amazing vegan food which inspired me to try making vegan dishes. My daughter told me to try shopping with Nuts.com for the raw organic cashews I needed for my awesome recipe. And I have been a fan of Nuts.com since then. I always have a package of nuts for my favorite vegan recipes. I highly encourage everyone to use Nuts.com wide variety of products including dried fruits and other gift ideas.

This place likes to scam. I ordered $20 worth of Jordan almonds on the 11/1 and they said it shipped on 11/4 for delivery 11/5. I never received it. The tracking never updated past label creation and they answered all my emails with canned macro responses. I was forced to wait another day then call, where the agent tried to offer me store credit before ultimately giving me my refund. It took too much pressure to get my refund especially when I still have never received anything. I don’t think I was ever going to receive anything. Buy at your own risk. Read the reviews here and on BBB.

Google
I placed an order on 12/16, then checked the shipping tracking on 12/22 and noticed my gift was never delivered. That's a total of 6 DAYS that the company NUTS.COM neglected to contact me to let me know the product was no longer available. I do not recommend.

There’s no way one can pass through Newark Penn Station without stopping by this place for some pop corn. The aroma just wafts through the whole station and pulls you in. They have not just pop corn but nuts. You also have different options for your popcorn. The servings are generous. A small portion (as pictured) is $2 and a larger portion is $3. It’s sooooo delicious!!! 😋

Nuts.com uses a shipping service that can not deliver to USPS PO Boxes. The problem is they will accept orders shipping to PO Boxes. The carrier delayed my order a week, rehandling it several time unnecessarily, and damaging 7 of the 12 product units I ordered. The late delivered caused us to miss the window we had for delivering the included gifts to relatives at the holidays. Nuts.com response to all of this was to offer a $7.24 store credit. The products are good, but not worth the hassle. There are local and other internet stores that I’ll use in the future.

Google
Horrible pistachios 3rd time ordering since I had a credit from last batch of bulk pistachios I ordered. Told them to make sure this order would be a fresh box and just look at what they sent me. Most of the pistachios are stale and not edible. Disgustingly dry and majorly rotted.

Loved the huge variety of healthy snack options. Fast shipping and fun delivery boxes!

Google
Very spoiled, I ordered cranberries from them, it came simply in a plastic bag. They used to pack beautifully. Now it came in plastic without packaging and expiration date, I asked them to redo it, they tell me that I have to pay for the refund and plus they charge me for the return of the goods and after they receive the goods back, I have to order a new one

Yelp
This is for the online store. I know their headquarters are somewhere in New Jersey but wasn't sure if this is the one. I needed a small bday gift to be sent to a bff who loves their offerings and orders from this company regularly. She happened to mention one time what her favorite choice was -- and that the last time they were out of this kind. So I thought, aha. The perfect little something for someone who has everything. I went on line. Easily searched and founded what I wanted. Placed the order. Got a confirmation immediately. And regular updates on the status of the order processing and the shipment details. It was seamless. It took only 3 days from order to delivery (they don't live that far away from the company). And she was pleased as punch! And she also let me know some of their other regularly ordered items. They carry way more items than just nuts. Ordering online can be hit or miss. And we have had a wide divergence in customer service from other places plus product descriptions and actuality can also vary. Nuts.com surpassed our expectations. Now I plan to use them again in the near future... plus I have my eye on a couple things I want to get for myself. Hint hint. ;)

Yelp
bought from Nuts.com thinking I was supporting a small, family-run business. That's what their website and packaging lead you to believe. In reality, it's a large-scale operation using artificial ingredients, preservatives, and corporate-level shipping. The product I received (about $70 worth) had artificial dyes and coatings -- not at all the natural or artisanal quality I expected. That wasn't disclosed clearly up front. Even worse, they used OnTrac for delivery -- a careless third-party shipper that left my package outside instead of walking up a few steps or using the elevator. It was almost stolen. This company is not what it pretends to be. If you're looking for real small-batch or family-made products, this isn't it. I feel misled, and I won't order again.

Yelp
I'm the last guy to order from a dot com and the last thing I'd WANT to do is support a dot com when the product is available somewhere in my neighborhood. Support local business! We wanted to find something really special for our hosts in San Francisco and we were already 2,200 miles away. We discovered the nut people also have organic Medjool dates, which are our hosts favourite. A couple of 5lb bags were a tad pricey but well worth it. The best part is: we had it directly shipped to them out west. It may be some time before we get back there. This way they get it immediately! Super duper thanks to my Yelper buddy Paige for the tip on this place. This is an excellent idea for gift giving to people living across the country or abroad! 02/25

Yelp
I received 3 bags of supposedly paper shell pecans, they were not and they taste awful. A lot of them were bad. Never ordering from them again

Gerry P.

Yelp
I just love Nuts.com. Their products are always fresh and delicious. They never skimp on the chocolate covering. Their milk chocolate covered walnuts and dark chocolate sponges are to die for. If you have to pay for shipping, it's worth it. My advice..... don't buy candy, nuts or dried fruit anywhere else!

Vicki M.

Yelp
Everything's good hear! I've bought quite a few different yummies, all was great. Plan to buy more stuff!

Yelp
I ordered $100 of nuts, chocolate covered raisins and almonds, trail mix, etc., to make a big trail mix for my friends. I mixed it all together and it just doesn't taste right. The chocolate covered cherries are gross - the flavor is just off. In fact the flavor is off with everything. It all tastes stale and like it wasn't stored properly. The toasted coconut is so powdery it makes a mess of the whole mixture. What a bummer. I'll probably just throw the whole thing out. This business will not be getting any more business from me. Yuck. $100 mistake.

Yelp
Great quality, great customer service. Always freshly packaged and delivered on time.

Yelp
~ As the small business owner of a busy real estate investment company, I L=O=V=E their dried, unsulphured pineapple. I nosh on it throughout the day, esp. when working with cash buyers and motivated sellers. Nuts.com has never failed to deliver quality snacks at reasonable prices. At first, I bought the pineapple with sulfur dioxide which made me itch terribly. Researched its use (mostly industrial) so, that had to stop. There are other products I'd love to try. My birthday is early October so I always make sure to order their peppermint bark before it sells out. My orders are filled promptly and on time by the ETA. As I work my business, I will always look for opportunities to tell my colleagues and clients about this great company. Nuts.com deserves a 5-star rating. Thanks guys for all you do! ~

Yelp
Thank you to my big brother Paige C and Tami for this wonderful assortment of snacks. It comes packaged so nice. There is nuts, dried fruit, candy and popcorn. I will set it all out on Christmas Day. I haven't order from this company before. I think I will have to have gifts sent from here. I can think of a few people that would love receiving this gift. Thanks big bro, love you!!

Yelp
Living in Brooklyn, just hours from NJ (nuts-com), I've faced relentless shipment issues, leading to a year-long subscription pause. Despite giving it another shot two weeks ago and again on Feb 1, 2025, the same problems persist. Their customer service is not helpful. I have countless bad customer experiences. However, their products are good.

Gabby R.

Yelp
I received the popcorn perfection box, toffee chews and a bag of Sunkist Fruit Gems as a gift. I thought the popcorn was stale, lacking in flavor and frankly, it's disappointing. I wonder if it was leftover stock from Christmas. The toffee was meh. They come in different flavors but all taste the same. It screams low quality. And the Sunkist candy was old and hard. It's funny because it took me a couple of seconds to recognize the logo on the top of the box before I read the name on the side. They build a recognizable brand to sell dollar store quality snacks. Very disappointed.

Yelp
I absolutely love Nuts.com (website) and we get our items usually within 48 hours. Free shipping over $60. We get in-shell (Unsalted) peanuts, walnuts, almond and pecans as well as chocolate covered cashews. They also have 8 oz. bags of Pine Nuts for $19.99. The candied (glaceed) apricots are a favorite, too. Love it!

Yelp
Nuts.com has been terrible for my waistline. A handful of nuts a day is healthy, but who can stop there? Their products are packed in one-pound bags, so I typically get a bag each of roasted salted macadamias, pecans, almonds, walnuts, and cashews, and, sometimes, shelled pistachios, pine nuts, or bourbon pecans. Their caramel popcorn is addicting, and they have great snack mixes. The Mix of Champions is hickory smoked almonds, edamame, salted macadamias, chili bits, buffalo peanuts, and cheddar sesame sticks. The Bourbon St. Mix is butternut peanuts, sesame sticks, Cajun corn sticks, cashews and salted peanuts. It's imposssible to have this in the house, and not be eating too much of it. I am less of a fan of their dried fruit and chocolates, but there's still something here for everybody.

Yelp
When I read Alexandra S.'s review of Nuts.com it gave me the idea for the perfect gift for my brother Jim's 75th birthday today. I went online and chose an interesting mixture of dried fruits I thought he would enjoy and a tin of mixed chocolates that looked intriguing. I liked that you could arrange to have gifts delivered on a specific date. I chose to have it shipped on January 12, to arrive today. They shipped it a day earlier, presumably because they were aware that transportation is slower than anticipated. This afternoon I received an email from Nuts.com that the package had been delivered and a thank you email from Jim, who said he had tried some of the chocolates and that they had been very good. He's looking forward to trying the dried fruit. In his email he said, "The Nut.com company did it good!". I haven't ordered anything for myself yet. I have an assortment of nuts in my freezer, but I look forward to going to their website to see what else strikes my fancy. Their emails are quirky and amusing. I like dealing w/ people w/ a good sense of humor and this family certainly seems full of them.

Yelp
Nuts.com received some as a gift from a friend. The best way to get referrals and try some for ourselves. Our 1st order was free shipping for 29.00 or more and we tried a variety of things. The Chocolate pretzels are tasty and the we really like the Malt Balls Then I ordered macadamia nuts as I juggled to reach the now $59.00 + free shipping for any future orders. Wow!! They were so hard it felt like I broke my teeth on them. Seems they have a 100% guarantee of satisfaction from a family business that started in Newark (NJ) in 1929. So, I called. The young girl who answered gave me a store credit of 29 dollars with no question of asking for a credit back on the form of payment I had given. Hmm. Alright that works. So, I ordered two variety bags of Malt balls. Yes there is a "0" charge - Ah - but 8 or 9 dollars shipping and handling. So, they get you either way. Unless you order still more. This said, they do have lots to choose from. And the PR is brilliant; as for a gift tray of 59.99 (which includes the shipping) The recipient gets an email for the gift giver noting who it is from and They get to pick out of 50 items (150 choices for premium at 69.99) of the things they like to eat to fill and have the tray delivered. So, that's the no brainer gift assuring that the receiver likes what they get and again likely adding a new customer to the list. It was worth it to me to just pay the shipping to just get what we like best. For two of us we do not need to order so much. Me, I was not 100% satisfied with really hard nuts that were clearly not fresh and then, to still have to order more, to get the product value of the money.

Yelp
First time to order from this company and won't be the last time. I placed a order to a sweet Yelper friend Britt C for a thank you gift. It was really easy and what I liked is how you set the date for it to be delivered. It actually got delivered a day earlier than expected which is nice. After she received her gift she loved the packaging and all the goodies that she got. It had a little bit of everything for everyone in her family. So if your looking to give a gift of all kinds of nuts and popcorn you should look this place up on the internet. Nuts.com.

Yelp
It was serendipity that I discovered this on-line company right around the holidays. I was trying to come up with gift ideas for two out of state people neither of whom I would be able to see over Christmas to hand deliver gifts. After perusing the website I decided to order each of the two a personalized tin of goodies. Nuts.com offers a "build your own tin" idea. You have a great assortment of nuts, dried fruits, chocolates, candies, etc from which to choose. The tins come in a few sizes and price points...you can keep things in your price range depending on how you choose to fill the tin. The inside of the tins have dividers and you fill each segment with whatever you would like from the offerings. Both gifts arrived the DAY after I submitted the online order. Amazon be damned! Both gift recipients have let me know they loved their gifts and loved the variety. I also bought a number of things for myself. I needed walnuts, pecans and pistachios so I ordered those. I also ordered dried cranberries, dates and some chocolate covered espresso beans and some M and M candies that come in single colors, traditional mixed colors and then in unusual colors like black and white. Nuts.com also sells some spices and other pantry items like various flours including gluten-free, assorted kinds of dried beans and many seed choices. They sell whole coffee beans from different countries. I was happy to see they sell poppy seeds (two different kinds) by the pound. My husband has loved poppy seed cake since he was a child and he fondly remembers the ones his aunt used to make for him. I have taken to baking him the occasional poppy seed cake or loaf and I've discovered how difficult it can be to find poppy seeds in bulk versus those ridiculously small jars the supermarkets sell. One of the recipes I have calls for a full cup of poppy seeds so finding them on Nuts.com and getting fresh seeds (they go rancid quickly; once you get them home you should store them in the fridge or freezer if you're not going to use them right away). In fact, everything I received in my order was fresh and nicely wrapped. The prices are reasonable. I love that this is a family-run company out of New Jersey. They are easy to get in touch with via email or the phone number they prominently display on their website. I am tired of online companies that want you to order from them but make it difficult to talk to an actual person if you have questions or need help. Some websites even make it difficult to email them directly without first having to navigate a "questions often asked" section. I will certainly order from Nuts.com again for myself and for gifts to go!

Yelp
Placed an order, rec'd an email that they were unable to charge my card and they had placed my order on hold, they subsequently charged my card after I placed an order with another vendor using the same card that Nuts.com charged but told me was on hold because there was a problem with the card, tried to call them using the telephone number they gave me in reply email which in turn directs you to a reply email and received no response to the email...at this moment my order is on hold, my card has been charged for a product they told me they are holding and I have rec'd no response to telephone calls or emails...you'd have to be nuts to deal with these peanut brains.

Ju G.

Yelp
They have no quality control and the products came with something brown smeared on the outside of one package, and the bottle that was wrapped up smelled like varnish. I would not put anything in my mouth from this company again.

David R.

Yelp
This company has devolved into trash. my experience is similar to Laura D., all items tasteless or stale or moldy, or all three. NEVER again.

Anne S.

Yelp
Received a gift box from my brother; Included were peppermint sticks. Although they were packed in a bubble wrap cocoon, all 10 of them were broken in multiple places. When I complained via message, I was advised my brother would get a credit. I asked them to replace them, and they responded with a disclaimer that said the candy canes were prone to breaking. I suggested that selling something that they could not deliver in good shape was wrong. It's not a big deal, but if Nuts.com sells an item it should arrive in like new condition. I gave them several chances, but they have been unwilling to replace them. This failure of customer service has me reviewing Nuts.com. Not a fan.

Lee E.

Yelp
Haven't purchased from Nuts.com for a while as we live in the Deep South and have had to watch when we purchase because of the potential heat vs. shipping issues. Went online today to order for the holidays and was flabbergasted to see the enormous price increases......across the board. We have always enjoyed Nuts.com products and service....but with the recent price increase.....we will no longer be a customer. Our loss I guess.
google avatar

Yelp
Nuts.com is Perfection Every order is shipped complete, in perfect order. The freshest nuts and other kitchen staples. We love their macadamias and Marcona almonds, the rye crisps, dried fruit, cocoa powder, polenta, fudge, artisanal pasta...you get the picture. If they sell it, it is excellent.

Dominick D.

Yelp
I needed Almond paste and found that nuts.com had it at a fairly reasonable price, but still very expensive. I put it in my cart and I noticed there was a link for 20% off and free shipping for orders over $59.00. Happy to see that, I clicked it and received a message that because my order was $59.99, I was in fact eligible for that offer! Happily, I moved forward to my cart where I saw that I did in fact get a cheaper price! YAY! I went on to shipping, expecting to see $0, but I was being charged for shipping. I felt there was something wrong so I went back to the original offer and resent it to the cart. Same result. I called the number on their website and talked to a not so kind representative. I explained that I had qualified for the 20% off and free shipping. He stated that because the 20% off brought my total below the $59, that I no longer qualified for free shipping! I tried to explain that the offer stated "20% off and free shipping for orders over $59.00 and nothing else". He just said to go back and add another product to bring the price back over the $59,00. This is very deceptive, if not a lie. He would not listen to me and I mentioned that my attorney would love to hear about their deceptive ways. He just said to "go ahead" and thanked me for calling. I will never purchase anything from this company and I will spread the news of who they really are.....a bunch of lying nuts!

Yelp
I've ordered gifts for my dad from nuts.com several times now. This year we ordered Father's Day gifts for my dad and my father in law. They both loved their gift sets. My dad never wants anything but pistachios. So this has been my go to. Everything usually arrives a little early, but definitely on time.

Carrie G.

Yelp
I've ordered from this online store many times and on two occasions the nuts were stale.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this company! Very fast delivery. The products always taste great and fresh! I have ordered from nuts.com a few times and happy with the products each time. Thanks
google avatar

Joseph H.

Yelp
Nuts, trail mixes, dark chocolate orange jelly sticks and orange peels are fabulous. I have been buying from them for years. Prices are fair, considering the runaway inflation. $59.00 gets you free shipping. Four stars instead of five, because the salted pumpkin seeds are from China. The apple trail mix is a must.

Yelp
Excellent service by Alex and pop corn chef JR! I got buttered popcorn with cinnamon, sugar and a touch of salt. The flavors were well mixed all through. Absolutely delicious. Less than $3 for the smallest size but big enough to share with 3 other people. To keep yourself clean, carry a plastic spoon with you to eat out of the bag, or squeeze up the popcorn bag as you eat it. I was afraid I was going to miss my train but the line goes quickly. See you again next week!

Diana T.

Yelp
Nuts.com keeps sending STALE products, latest was molded dried figs, after I asked for a refund they told me mold is natural and normal on figs and refused to refund the money. I am allergic to mold have been eating dried figs forever, never seen mold growth like this on figs (I sent them the pic of the mold), And yes I agree with them mold is natural but does not mean we should eat moldy products. I have been ordering from Nuts.com for many years even before they had Nuts.com email so did many of my friends and family members, they use to be an excellent company with great customer service SADLY NOT ANYMORE. they have gotten too big to care. There are other companies that are selling similar organic products that are significantly less expensive then Nuts.com so they should be careful and treat long term loyal customers well, instead of trying to convince them mold is normal and repeatedly sending stale seeds and nuts. Very disappointed.
google avatar

Ken T.

Yelp
Have ordered from this company in the past and have been pleased however I placed an order and was Told it would arrive the next day and That never happened. I called customer service and the person I spoke with had no idea why I had not received my order and said he would call me back and has not. I would like to continue using nuts.com however I'm extremely disappointed and not sure I will. They state 100 percent satisfaction and so far the have fallen way short.

Yelp
I bought a sampler as a gift and when the family I gave it to opened it a month or two later there were live bugs crawling all over. Contacted the company and they did not make any effort whatsoever to make things right. Nothing, not even an apology by email. Phone call, nothing. They could care less.

Maria D.

Yelp
Nuts are fresh and delicious! Next day delivery is a plus. If you want to avoid stale or rancid nuts that have been sitting on supermarket shelves for long periods of time, I recommend Nuts.com.

Harry S.

Yelp
We have never had such a positive experience dealing with a customer service department. After a really nice phone response our issue was met with an overly generous resolution. I hope the company reads this as we genuinely appreciate your actions...and your product is delicious M. Soffer

Jim P.

Yelp
I've been ordering from them for years, and for the most part the quality has been great. HOWEVER I ordered their sugar-free carmel corn, and for two days our entire household has been sick with SEVERE intestinal distress. Almost to the point of having to take someone to the emergency room because we all became incredibly boated. I went on their site to post a review, and I noticed there is NO WAY to post a review. This product supposedly has 439 reviews, but there is no way to post one. I tried looking at other products (cookies, nuts, etc.) and there is no way to review ANYTHING on their web site. This leads me to believe all their reviews are fake. There was even a review of the carmel corn that someone else had stomach problems too, yet still gave the product 4 stars out of 5. Who would do that?

Capuxu B.

Yelp
After years of shopping at Nuts, I ordered and received three packages of hazelnut flavored coffee that were basically favorless. I notified Nuts. They offered to refund two packages. I found that unacceptable. I paid for three, not two packages. All turned out to be unusable. A flurry of e-mails ensued with Nuts maintaining that its policy was to refund fifty percent. Again, if you pay for three items that turn out to be bad, it is my belief that the merchant should replace the three items with good quality one or issue a refund for all three. Nuts does not seem to care about customer loyalty anf if the coffee is they apparently do an example of how its policy works, quality is apparently uppermost on their list. Luckily, the consumer can find alternatives though in my case, I'm out the cost of the bad coffee.

Yelp
I received my order this afternoon. And I am done with Nuts.com my first and last over $100 of nuts I thought would be premium what I received absolute garbage - the worse , low grade trash . I ever bought online... the Nuts were so hard even my dogs could not chew on them, they were stale, moldy and smell like mildew. Very Low quality- I wrote them concerning my issues - I got nothing, thus far they ignored my emails . One bite and everything went inside the trash.

Yelp
I ordered the $14.95 sampler. I didn't know what I would get but didn't expect much for that price. It came within 3 days beautifully packaged. I couldn't believe all the different choices they gave me. I should have ordered the $25.00 one. I debated whether to order more. I loved the kettle corn and the corn nuts. I got to looking over everything and couldn't resist. I ordered $55.00 worth. There is free shipping with a $29.00 purchase. It's been 3 days and it comes today. I hope its as good as the other box.

Yelp
This is a kiosk inside Newark Penn. It's on the McDonald's side of the station. It used to be one of those old-school carts, but has since been housed inside one of the metal kiosk cubes. It sells freshly popped popcorn and has various flavor powders that you can sprinkle on top. It also sells nuts and other dried snacks. Aside from being tasty, snacks are priced well. You won't break the bank stopping by here. If you have time in between connections, get a snack here. Note - because it's a good deal, there's always a line, so only go if you have time to wait.

June M.

Yelp
They shipped with OnTrac and my order was delayed and then "supposedly delivered". My order was NOT delivered and their customer service told me they would check with carrier and to wait 2 more days for delivery. They were RUDE and have the worst customer service. I will never order from them again. They just want my money and they don't care if I have my order. I will call my bank to report FRAUD.

Bruce N.

Yelp
We've been ordering from them for years mainly nuts and dark chocolate chips. Recently there was an article about toxic metals found in almost all dark chocolate. I sent an email to nuts.com asking about this and the person said they don't test their dark chocolate. i am now a former customer.

Dug B.

Yelp
I notice at least one other Florida customer mentioning receiving a nut order that was sub-standard to the point of being inedible. Ergo I add my two cents: I wanted to have a large amount of mixed nuts for the holidays. I'm a long time buyer from NUTS, having patronized their brand when they were nutsonline (NUTS stills comes when one types nutsonline). I loved the service, the wonderful quality of everything, especially their nut selection. Until the last couple of orders. This week's order included 'Jumbo' peanuts, hazel nuts, brazil nuts. The peanuts were tiny and blah tasting; the hazel nuts showed obvious rot: the brazils were small and tasteless. There I've said my piece, yet I don't feel any better for it. Dug B

Yelp
Order arrived---as always--in, like, an hour! Products are wonderful! Service is excellent! Third generation family biz is admirable and awesome! Topping it all off are shipping boxes like works of art covered with fun graffiti, i.e., "Well, what are you waiting for? Open me!"
google avatar

Janis D.

Yelp
They sold me a product they claimed was gluten-free and before I read label because I trusted them I had ate it. They can't be trusted if you are on a special diet to order from them. Because obviously they don't know their own products

Yelp
First experience and it was a GOOD one! Fair pricing, good packaging, and they were in constant communication. I ordered something that has disappeared from grocery shelves and what showed up was fresh, well packed, and delicious. Bonus! I got a free sample of something! Who wouldn't love that? This is the first time but it won't be the last. Good job you guys!

Yelp
Decided to give nuts.com a try; I really wanted to like their products. Sadly, I was very disappointed. I bought a variety of items, including: unshelled pistachios; pistachios in shell; individually bagged cashews and an assortment of individually bagged snacks - mixed nuts, trail mix; banana chips, etc. The mixed nuts were stale, as were both the shelled and unshelled pistachios. Completely unacceptable - particularly given the price. Go to Trader Joes for fresh individually packaged cashews.

Yelp
We ordered 12 pounds of peanut brittle so we could divide it up and give as gifts. It arrived promptly and was fresh and delicious. Also reasonably priced. We would definitely order from them again. I noticed that all the ratings for this company are either 5 or 1. The 5's are for the online operation. The 1's are for a popcorn stand at a train station that I haven't visited.

Yelp
We used Nuts.com to order products for our daughters wedding in 2012. We loved everything, so when it came time to get my fall supply of in-the-shell nuts of course I chose Nuts.com!!!! Loved our 5lb bag!!! It was fun to teach our grandkids the tradition of sitting by the fire and cracking nuts!!!
