"This brewery and restaurant offers classic brewpub fare in a relaxed setting. Pro tip: Order a flight of three beers for $7.50." - Darcie Duttweiler

Solid pizzas and a well rounded menu and decent beverage list makes this a worthwhile visit when in these parts. What amazes me a bit is that even with such an extensive menu there is care taken in the preparation of each item and that shows in the flavor and tastes. Pizzas have fresh ingredients and are well balanced, though slightly underseasoned (a pinch of salt on the vegetable toppings would elevate them IMHO) and the mussels are a must get.

Food was amazing, parking lot is big and the restaurant is bright, beautiful and clean. However, the staff was disappointing. Went there a Friday night and the restaurant wasn’t even crowded, we had to wait for almost 10 mins for the waiter to come to the table and we had to grab a drink menu from another table. Cocktails were good and we didn’t have to wait much for the food, finished the food but after that waiter disappeared again for at least 15 mins. Asked a busboy (that didn’t speak English) to get him and he finally showed up with our bill. 7/10

The parking lot is huge but shared with a couple of other joints, so it was kinda packed at 6:45 on a Tuesday evening. It's not just a brewery, but it's also a classy restaurant with some great food. I started my evening with the traditional Bavarian heffe and couldn't have been more pleased. Then I had the Field Greens Salad ($4.95), followed by the Fresh Vegetable Grille kabobs. The kabobs were $13.50 without a protein option, but you can add chicken or shrimp for $4-$5 if that floats your boat. The kabobs are served on top of a vegan lentil bean salad. The kabobs and the lentil bean salad were both to die for! Veggies were perfectly cooked and had a cilantro based pesto sauce on it but it wasn't overly smothered with it. The veggies also had a really good spicy (but mild) kick to them. I REALLY recommend these veggie kabobs to anyone who visits. And finally, before I waddled out of this awesome place, I sat back to enjoy the atmosphere and savored the Red Zeppelin - this was my favorite brew that night. ======== OK, here comes all of my boring, OCD counts of things and lists of what they have in store for you: They have 15 beers on draft (some are seasonal, so they rotate), a good wine selection, a full bar, and a full restaurant. The most interesting thing I noticed were the beer "cocktails." A couple of beers mixed with liquor, liqueurs, and syrups. See photo for descriptions. A 3 beer flight is $7.50. Crowlers - 32 ounce, canned on demand to go are $8 for regular beers, $10 for specialties and IPAs Pro Tip: if u get a three pack, it's one dollar off of each crowler. Yes, they have kegs to go, in 5 or 15 gallon sizes $12 happy hour growler refills 4p to 7p Most of the beers are $5.25 - the highest priced one was $6.95 Additional food items: steaks, meatloaf, duck breast, CFC, chicken , fish options, burgers, pizzas, etc. They also have an outdoor biergarten that's tented off and protected from the elements. On the night I was there and got my check, I noticed my beers were $1 off - either because it was happy hour or because the waitress had a thing for me - I'm not really sure but I might have to go back and find out. ==== One more important note - the food and the service was so good, I asked my waitress if I could speak to the manager - something I rarely do. She looked at me like something was wrong, but I told her I just wanted to tell the manager how awesome everything was. Seriously, I NEVER do this, so this should speak volumes to this place!

I love this brewpub! Not only are their beers some of the best in town, but they were the first brewpub to open in town 19 years ago! I love their seasonal menu and Chef Albert is seriously talented and passionate about what he does. Their steak is super delicious (and hearty) and their seasonal ruby red trout with asparagus and risotto is one of the best things to eat there! Their pizza is another awesome choice - its made out of beer bread and it is FANTASTIC. They also have roasted garlic bread with salad that's a must have!

Wonderful restaurant. Called in a carryout order and it was ready in 10 mins. There aren't a lot of great pizza places in Texas but the PPM pizza is very tasty. I also had the spicy chicken sandwich, which wasn't spicy at all, but the sauce was good and chicken was juicy. There's also fresh brewed beers. Would go again

Been visiting NXNW for many years and was pleasantly surprised to see a few new items on the menu. Stout Stroganoff was a little salty but still delicious with a good balance of meat, mushrooms and mashed potatoes. The new Fish & Chips (Mon night special) was a great addition to the menu. The fish (Cod) tasted fresh and served with plenty of garlic parm fries. The half pound angus burger is one of the best in town. Get it cooked medium with bacon and Huntsman cheese (blue & cheddar blend) and you'll thank me! It's $12.70 with bacon but enough to split with someone (suggest adding a side salad). The calamari hasn't changed, still a great appetizer to share. They now have fried oysters(!) but were out the day we visited. The new kale arugula salad is a welcome addition with tasty beets, sweet dates, corn, feta cheese and a light vinaigrette. I don't drink much beer but my husband can attest that their beers are always good (he gets his growlers filled there).

Still a nice place, but it seems to have come down a notch. The garlic bulbs are no longer squeezed over French bread, they come already peeled for you to spread over pita bread, and the goat cheese is now a goat cheese flavored cream. Not bad, but I would say it is at least a notch down. The roasted duck still good, but the polenta, well, is not really polenta anymore. It is a mashed something, not horrible, but definitely not polenta.

So, my wife and I came here a few months back. I ordered the Stout Stroganoff and won't order it again. The meat was bland and I just felt like my egg noodles were drowned in tomato sauce. The saving graces were the crab cake appetizer and Zombie [something] IPA. The crab cakes were light and fluffy and crispy and full of so much goodness that I even ate the vegetable garland, just to taste the sauce. The beer tastes like Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA, if you're into beers. They only serve water if you request it, because they don't want to unnecessarily waste the resource... I like this, but was totally thrown-off upon initially hearing it. Glad to know that some business owners do care about future generations... anyways... check it out!
