NYACK FRESH MARKET

It’s the store where I buy my most basic groceries. The Staff is really friendly and young. Their layout and the product assortment make my customer experience so easy and efficient.

Everyone there is so helpful and patient and friendly. Especially the deli girls and guys! Very happy to help, very patient when we have an annoying order (we are picky with our cold cuts and like them sliced so thin that theyre shredded), and the food is always amazing! Especially the buffalo chicken salad and honey bbq boneless wings. And their salmon! All the prepared veggies. Its literally just amazing. Love this place. Also, all the different breads! We try a new sweet bread every time we go :) my son loves the pink concha

This place is so expensive!! I would not recommend this place at all. Always check your receipts they over charge all the time their return policy is a joke. If I'm paying an arm and a leg for groceries I expect exceptional customer service They talk bad about customers in Spanish The female employees are RUDE they need an attitude check!!! Fix the bathroom it's always out of order!

Nyack Fresh is a terrific market. Has everything you need. And the meats, cut by the butcher, are fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful. Plus, Nyack Fresh has continually supported the Christmas cookie fundraiser of local firehouse Chelsea Hook & Ladder. This is a great store.

Best supermarket around! Women owned, staff is friendly and very helpful is friendly and polite everything is so clean and organized. Great selection of cheeses, meats and fresh fruit that does NOT go bad in two days. Prices are fair and free parking in front of store !

Very exciting news - we have a new supermarket in downtown Nyack called Nyack Fresh Market, and checks all the boxes for a thoroughly enjoyable shopping experience. I visited the Grand Opening and was amazed at the variety of their inventory, the super friendly employees, and when was the last time an owner greeted you personally when you entered a supermarket. This place is going to be a hit definitely pay them a visit!

Food is fresh. Selection and prices are competitive. Broad beer selection. Lines are short. Staff is friendly. Location is excellent. Easy and free parking.

The cashiers Linda , Angie ,and Gaby maker are the best they go above and beyond good service friendly and they make sure they asses everything. They got senior discounts and highly convenient the buffet is really good and theyve even helped me till the store closed passed 11 o clock they are the only market I go to while in Nyack I recommend them 200 percent with good quality food and great brands

PROS: Loads of parking out front, nice staff, everything is organized, large variety of everything CONS: you pay for parking in the lot out front OVERALL: It's a quaint farmers market! I love it and would come here again. It's not a regular supermarket like ShopRite but it's of appropriate proportion to a market

The cashiers are thieves. They either try to over charge you for an item or they charge you for items that you don't have in your basket. Be very careful and watch cashier as they ring up and check your receipt. You will find items on it that you did not purchase or have in your order and do not have in your possession or they overcharge you. I just stopped shopping there. Besides being over priced and low quality then to have to watch/make sure cashiers are not overcharging for an item or charging for items not in your order it's not worth it. I just do without until I can get to Shoprite or reputable grocery store. They are only getting 1 star because I can't post unless I do a star rating. If it was possible to indicate 0 that's what I would rate this store.

Just in case you don't want to read my whole review, synopsis: Nyack Fresh Market is actually the worst. If you were gonna go for groceries, ShopRite is just 5 min up 59 and if you were gonna go for the deli (DONT!!) Deli on the Hudson is right next door and SOOOOOO much better!!! Now onto the TLDR: I don't even know where to begin. And let me preface by saying this is my first ever google review, that's how much I hate this place. I mean I went 28 years without ever really thinking about what I want from a grocery store, they were all pretty much nailing it. But then I met Nyack Fresh Market. Are you the type of person who likes the convenience of all of your basic home goods in one store? Well this is not the place for you then. When they actually have what you're looking for, 9/10 times it's expired and double what you'd pay at ShopRite. Who doesn't wanna pay $9 for expired bread? Oh and you know how in other grocery stores the aisle signs actually represent the products one may find in that aisle? At NFM these are merely providing atmosphere, decor, cultivating a vibe if you will. And that vibe is good luck finding what you're looking for. If you do decide to venture in for your own, unique hellish experience I wouldn't even bother with self check out, half of their items aren't in the system and you'll wait 10 min before someone comes to help you. Just all in all you really will be saving yourself a lot of irritation by taking the trip to ShopRite.
