"This bistro serves fish and seafood in a pleasantly informal, modern interior. Vegetarian options are also available. This trendy restaurant is right next to its fine dining counterpart and also has a nice garden." - Michelin Inspector

One of the most delightful dining experiences I had while in Vienna! We ordered two appetizers, two main courses, and a dessert and every dish was exceptional. The food was flavorful and beautifully presented, while the service was warm and seamless. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant !

Not sure why this restaurant is even mentioned in the Michelin guide, an absolute waste of time. The food is nothing exiting or interesting, the main dish came in different sizes, one missing the sauce. The bread comes without butter, they did not even ask if we wanted some. The wine list is quite impressive, however, the Santorini wine we chose was not available (why keep it on the menu if it's not available???). The service needs a lot of work - hectic, sporadic and not attentive. The waitress kept asking for a tip and even forgot to give back 20 euro to the table next to ours, so the guests had to ask for their change. The tables are so close to one another that it feels like you are eating at a long table with strangers - makes it super difficult to service. The bill came with a white wine, we had rose. When I questioned it it took a very long time for the waitress to bring the wine list to show me that the price was the same. It is not a question of price but a matter of principle that the bill reflects the correct items consumed. Overall - plenty of other restaurants in Vienna, this one is worth to skip!

The worst experience in a restaurant ever. Very rude attitude from the owner, a lady that has nothing to do with service. Booked a table, they did not provide it, and we sit to eat at the bar, which honestly was not comfortable. After a while this lady continued to bring other people on this place that was only with 5 long chairs and was very rude asking us to move ore squeeze. Meanwhile we eating. As we did not accept the fact that we cannot squeeze more as there is no place, she printed the invoice and said that we must leave. After noticing that not the food was arrived, she took the invoice back. Our dinner was ruined. I promised her that I will write a long review about that, and than she started yelling in the middle of the place. Crazy people whom should not be given the possibility to be in service sector, imagine to have also a Michelin logo attached at their door. No apologies, nothing. Worst experience ever

I booked the restaurant based on the fact it was on the Michelin guide however I’m not sure it was recommend. Perhaps only through association to its neighbour. It was well below the standard of what I would have expected. The food was mediocre at best. Uninventive and basic with poor presentation. We chose to leave promptly without dessert. Would not recommend. This was booked as a treat for our trip to Vienna and we left very disappointed.

It was recommended by the next restaurant when we call to book. The food in general was below expectations. Very basic taste with little variety especially in appetizers. The place was almost empty. Nothing much to repeat again.

When I checked the Michelin guide, I found this bistro. Luckily I have booked the table for 2 and turned out the very satisfied experience. Sometimes I thought Vienna doesn’t have much gourmet restaurants but finally I met one. How they decorate the outdoor seating, the creativity of the food seasoning and ingredient. The wine list is also a wow. Not too much items to stress you out but elegantly selected. It was beautiful Friday night to share a meal with friends and loved one :)

Yelp
We ate here on a Saturday evening, with a reservation for two at 7pm. On arrival, we were quickly seated and offered water. We started by sharing three starters: two cold (smoked catfish, tuna) and one warm (mushrooms). For our mains, we had veal and shrimp. We tried both desserts, a pear and ice cream with a chocolate crisp and a type of cannoli. All in all, we had a nice evening and the food was interesting and different. It was a little noisy because the space is a little small and the tables are close together. Although we likely won't remember the food, it was still pleasant. Perhaps the best bite was the mushroom starter.

Yelp
Such a wonderful experience that started with our server who was charming and extremely knowledgeable. The food was exquisite to look at and delicious to eat. Amazing and unique wines that were paired perfectly with our meal.

Yelp
The subsidiary of one of Austria's best restaurants run by iconic Austrian-Greek Two-Michelin-Star Chef Konstantin Filippou. A small and cosy place, O boufés is a kind of upscale Greek wine bar that also serves small plates. We primarily went there for the food, also with the big Chef's name behind, but were a bit unimpressed by the food. It has been very nice though, but not what the place (and pricing) suggests. Some dishes were really good (like the shrimp saganaki) but sometimes we were just not sure. A bit more flavor and salt wouldn't be wrong.

Yelp
I went there with a group of people, the place has been around for a while and I was curious to try it out. It is labeled as the "tapas bar" connected to Filipou's fine dining restaurant which is next door to O Boufés. Unfortunately the food was highly overpriced and not seasoned at all - boring would be a euphemism. We had the artichoke, the teriyaki pork and a mixed plate of charcuterie with bread and butter. The artichoke's heart was raw and completely unseasoned, the pork was average and its taste was mainly dominated by teriyaki sauce. On top of that the waiters have a stupid way to talk to guests; let me give you some advice, just because you have a tattoo on your lower arm does not entitle you to act like you're doing me a favour by serving me. When leaving the restaurant I pointed out that the food was a disappointment, I was told that the place mainly focuses on wine - ok guys, I don't think I need to add more.
