Had a nice brunch yesterday on the last day of our visit to Porto. We had to wait a little bit outside, but not too long thankfully (10 minutes, tops). We were seated with another couple at a round communal table which was fine by us. Only down side there was after the waiter took our orders, he brought a few things incorrectly to us that were meant for the other couple, but no big deal. We were all friendly.
So I love this common brunch thing that seems to be popular in Porto where you order a 'combo' of sorts and get to pick the items you want. I picked a combination that included a hot drink, cold drink, smoothie bowl and 2 of the basic pancakes. I *think* the menu may have indicated a specific type of bowl, which I didn't realize, so I got 2 bowls by mistake (and not sure if they charged me, but they're really not expensive).
So anyway I had an Americano coffee, cold white fruit tea, a strawberry smoothie bowl (a bit too banana-y for me, but still good), tried a few bites of the acai bowl it was supposed to come with (which actually tasted better than the strawberry one anyway), and the fluffy pancakes with additional strawberry compote (which I paid an extra 50 cents for as toppings don't come with the combo meal).
I was very happy with the size of this brunch and loved all the flavors. They also have a very cool pancake page by itself where you can make your own (pancake, filling, topping, ice cream! crunchies!) which would be very cool for another brunch or dessert. Huge menu overall. Very cute and tasty spot for a nice brunch. I think my meal total was under $10.
