Oak Restaurant in Laguna Beach has a fantastic location with a great vibe from the moment you walk in. The menu is creative and interesting, and the staff is genuinely friendly. The clam chowder was incredibly tasty and light, and the sea bass was excellent, fresh, high quality, and cooked perfectly. Overall, everything was really good, and I will definitely come back.

Honestly such good quality service and vibes here! Very nice atmosphere .If you are visiting (like us from OR) or live in the area, this is the place for you to have dinner. The food is delicious … We enjoyed each of our dishes. So flavorful and reasonably priced. Our server Javier was very attentive and polite. The owner Tony made sure to personally meet all of our comforts and was a very pleasant person to meet. 10/10 place… would recommend.

Great location on the corner of PCH and Oak. The restaurant is located upstairs with a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean. Great spot for appetizers and drinks on the balcony. Sunset views are spectacular. The food and service are really good.

Great food and service in a modern sleek dining room in a great central location in Laguna Beach. You enter the restaurant upstairs from a pizza spot on the corner and when you go inside it is very nice. The atmosphere is young and vibrant with a happening bar and stylish decor. People are well dressed and the staff is on top of their game from the moment you enter. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly although it was quite busy. Our table had some ocean view which was not expected but very welcome. For food we started out with the tuna tacos and the ceviche. The ceviche broth with extremely good with great spice and flavor. The steak tacos were very tender with a flight of salsa choices and pickled onion. The pork chop had a very zesty jalapeno applesauce and goat cheese fritter which all played very nicely together along with just a touch of balsamic reduction.. great restraint by the kitchen not go overdo that sweet reduction.. they used the perfect amount not flooded it as so many places do so you can't taste your food. We noted a couple things coming out that looked particularly great.. first were the salads.. which were very popular.. and the ribeye looked incredible. We had a special event and they did a little sweet treat for the occasion which was awesome. From atmosphere, food, and service Oak was a wonderful experience and we shall return.

Fantastic and friendly service, breathtaking ocean views, and delicious food that you can tell was made with care. Ceviche was very good Artichoke appetizer, delicious—I had it without cheese and sauce on the side. Farmer’s Market (vegetable and quinoa) stir fry was superb; had it topped with avocado, but you can also add shrimp, salmon, chicken, or beef to it.

Google
Great spot for birthday lunch for my wife. Delicious cocktails and lunch/brunch options. Loved the ahi tuna tacos and chicken and waffles. The big ice cube that says oak in the cocktail was really cool. You can see the water from the second level outdoor dining area. Server was very friendly. Looking forward to coming back next time we're in Laguna Beach!

Google
Here’s a polished review you can use: ⸻ We visited Oak as a party of four and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From start to finish, every dish exceeded our expectations. We started with the blue cheese chips, the shrimp, and the artichoke appetizer — all delicious and full of flavor. We also ordered the asparagus tempura and the sea bass for our mains, and everything was cooked perfectly. The food, ambiance, and overall experience were fantastic. We’ll definitely be back! And would love if they added a baby changing table

Google
I’ve been to Oak Laguna Beach several times for both dinner and brunch, and every visit has been a great experience. The food is high quality and beautifully presented. Most recently, we visited for brunch to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and the hospitality truly stood out. I had mentioned the occasion ahead of time, and the owner personally came by to congratulate my friend and brought us a complimentary birthday dessert complete with a fun sparkler. It was a memorable touch that made the celebration feel special. Between the excellent food, great location, and genuine hospitality, Oak Laguna Beach is a place I recommend and look forward to returning to again.

Yelp
took my wife here on a Sunday night and we had an amazing time. the waitress was knowledgeable and very patient in helping us select a good wine for our meal. the balcony view, food/wine, atmosphere was impressive and worth the experience. They also have a nice center bar, definitely coming back here on a Friday/ Saturday night for more fun.

Yelp
A Remarkable Experience at Oak - Laguna Beach Oak in Laguna Beach delivers the kind of dining experience that reminds you why restaurants matter--not just for the food, but for the feeling of being genuinely welcomed and taken care of. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was incredible: warm, lively, stylish without trying too hard, and full of an energy that feels both local and elevated. You can tell immediately that this is a place run with intention. The owner was present, engaged, and clearly invested in every detail of the guest experience. He wasn't hiding in the back--he was working the room, greeting tables, connecting with customers, and setting a tone that resonated through the entire restaurant. Even though I'd heard they were short-staffed, you would never know it. The service was seamless, attentive, and impressively coordinated. Our waitress, Molly, deserves special mention--she handled the room with grace, confidence, and the kind of genuine professionalism that makes a lasting impression. Bravo to her and the whole team. And the food? Outstanding. My chicken parmesan was perfectly done: a beautifully crisp cutlet, a bright, flavorful tomato sauce, and a generous layer of melted cheese finished with just the right amount of color--chef's-kiss perfection. Even the salad on top added a fresh, balanced note to the richness. Every bite confirmed that Oak takes its craft seriously. All in all, Oak is a restaurant firing on all cylinders--ambiance, hospitality, execution, and heart. In a town filled with great options, this place still manages to stand out. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Food is good, tried their Roasted tomato soup Service was amazing!!! People were really friendly and nice Ambiance is great too, since it is just by the beach and if you seat at the patio you have view of the beach

Yelp
Unfortunately my wife and I will never go back to Oak for happy hour or any other meal ever again. Our last visit was awful. We sat at the bar and were ignored by the bartenders. We were never welcomed, asked if we wanted menus or when we finally did shout to get their attention to order food were not given a place setting or silverware. One bartender just stood in one place complaining that she had to make mixers or something. We were never asked if we wanted another drink and when I asked for salt, I was again ignored for close to five minutes and my food got cold. Whatever is going on with the place has to change. I would start by firing the two lazy bartenders who seem to be more concerned with making mixers and talking to waiters than actually engage with customers sitting right in front of them to ask if they want or need anything. This place has gone to crap!

Yelp
Was very excited to try this place because the food look delicious when I was searching for somewhere to eat while staying in Laguna Beach. It was a perfect day and we decided to head over as the sun was setting. We got a table outside with a perfect view. My only complaint about this place was the service or the lack there of. We sat for quite a while before the server came to take our drink order. Then we waited a long while for our drinks. Our server was pretty much MIA. An older gentleman which I'm guessing was the manager did come and check on us a few times which I really did appreciate Otherwise it would've been a totally negative experience and the rating would've been a lot lower. The food was good, no complaints there but honestly when the service is bad, the whole experience is thrown off a bit. There were a lot of restaurants to choose from in this cute city so I was a little disappointed. I wanted to try a little bit of everything so I ordered a burger, the Mac and cheese, Ahi tacos and calamari.

Yelp
I'd recommend a reservation. Dinner was fantastic, had their kale & Brussels salad with blackened chicken and the flavor was great. I tried some of my husband's sea bass and it was very good. Great spot for a date.

Yelp
Sunday morning people watching on the balcony with no wait to seat. A relaxing way to spend time with the significant other. Not to mention Holland's fantastic drink making skills. We only had the chance to try the fried chicken and waffles which were fried to perfection.
google avatar

Kaytlin K.

Yelp
The drinks here are what keep me coming back, but the food and view is hard to beat! Parking can be super tricky - I usually park up the street and walk. Service has been quick every time we are here. Either bartenders or management jumps in if they get busy. Everyone always seems super happy to work here and even the hosts are super kind. Can't wait to come back and try more cocktails.

Yelp
Came here with friends for lunch and loved everything from the location, the vibes, the service, and the food! We got the tacos and although the size was smaller than we anticipated based on what our waitress described (according to our friends who had been here before, the dinner portion was larger for them than the lunch portion was for us) every component was fresh and tasty, from the meat to the salsa and the lime wedge on the side. My husband mentioned the dessert was the only area for improvement as it was overly sweet and not particularly compelling but the lunch itself was fantastic. Our friends both enjoyed their lunches as well. Overall would recommend for the taste of our lunch and the ambiance and friendly service

Yelp
Not too shabby! We came on Mother's Day. I wasn't stoked about that, but mom wanted it. Plus they didn't have a pre fix menu, which we appreciated. We arrived early for our reservation. We ended up waiting almost 25 minutes for the people before us to finish. We got seated, and our drinks took another 20 mins. (Apparently the bar was slammed and there was only one bartender at the time) Not a great start, but the food made up for it. It was all good! No complaints. The artichoke was phenomenal. It's a nice vibe inside. Feels slightly more fancy than it actually is. The servers are nice, but not super polished. I will give it another try on a less busy day.

Yelp
Good spot to watch sunset from high up. We came here for a quick drink and snack. For cocktails I tried the Brah Berry which was aesthetically adorable, but a bit too tart. I also tried the Dragon Me To Drink which I really liked. For snacks, we ordered the Smoked Blue Cheese Chips which was definitely different than what we were expecting but nonetheless still great in flavor! These were not a chip and dip, but rather nacho style which the blue cheese sauce drizzled on top of chips, which was unique.

Yelp
Blown away with Oak! We came here last weekend as we were passing through Laguna. Oak made our anniversary dinner feel truly special, and I honestly can't recommend this place enough. From start to finish, everything was memorable: the food, the cocktails, the view, and the incredibly thoughtful service. We were greeted with a sweet "Happy Anniversary" sign and (at the end of our meal) a surprise donut treat, which completely made our night. Shoutout to our server Diego too - he went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and celebrated, and it really meant a lot. Now let's talk food: the wonton ahi tuna tacos were phenomenal - I'm literally craving them as I write this lol the spicy chicken sandwich was also a standout: super juicy with just the right amount of kick. Drink-wise, my favorite was the Heatwave (if you're a jalapeño lover, that's the one to try). We sat outside with a beautiful view of the water, and the whole experience was elevated by how charming the Hip District is. Bonus: their happy hour specials are solid, so if you can catch that, it's even better. Highly recommend Oak for a special occasion or just a great night out in Laguna Beach, 100%.

Yelp
We went on Tuesday for OC restaurant week. It was a nice cute spot. We got the artichoke, meatballs and calamari for an appetizer. The salmon, chicken and steak for dinner. And then the bread pudding for dessert. The service was friendly.

Yelp
Amazing food, great service,AMAZING FOOD, and service! Cant wait to go back. It's a must try!!!!

Yelp
I've come here a few times already and the vibe is always right. It's so lively with all the conversations happening around. My friend and I decided to sit and eat at the bar as we didn't reserve a time. Normally we do, which is best to do in my opinion. I ordered the calamari, roasted tomato soup and their seasonal drink the Chocolate Espresso Martini. Everything hit the spot as always. Never disappoints. Food always fresh and snells so good. Got us dancing in our seats!

Yelp
We called Oak to reserve a table for 7 to celebrate my son's birthday. We got there and everything was ready. The service was amazing, they took our order and also the cake we brought in for birthday. The view from the balcony is amazing and added to our experience. Appetizers were amazing and food was great. All orders came together after we had our appetizers. For dessert, they brought the cake with a sparkling candle on it. This is a great place and I will be back to try their happy hour. Thank you so much for making my son's 21st so special.

Yelp
I had high hopes for the food here. We got the ceviche and calamari for apps. The ceviche had way too much lemon juice making it sooo sour and extremely salty. The calamari was a bit too salty as well but acceptable. I got the Oak burger. It was decent but not worth. I prefer in n out. Service was top notch but that's it.

Yelp
In general Mid Afternoon Date on a Friday and the place started out kinda slow which was fine because we got to hand select our seats which were right at the curve and directly in-front of the ocean. You couldn't ask for better seats. The waiter engaged in some healthy banter which helped take the edge off and also assisted with the food and beverage selections with his personal choices (which were amazing!!) The Good - not sure what whisky drink I had with a foam top but it was delicious!!! Like next level good. I ended up having 2 of them through out my 4 hours there. The date went well!!. Food selections did not disappoint either I got the friend chicken sandwich and it was simply delicious. Service was prompt and consistent waiters were good and the overall value was there for me. Our bill was very reasonable for what we had within the time we were there. The Bad: I really have nothing bad to say about Oak accept I wish they would have caught my attention sooner. This is not a drawback but for me it was a bit cumbersome and difficult to find the entrance from their parking garage because there is some construction happening, but again nothing to do with the restaurant. If your looking for good food good drinks and an amazing ambience and or atmosphere Oak is your place!!

Javad K.

Yelp
Oak is a fantastic ocean view restaurant with impeccable service and a variety of delicious food. We have had several family gatherings, especially our birthday party. Oak's Ceviche and sautéed Calamari are out of this world. We strongly recommend it to everyone. Dr. javad Kashefi

Yelp
The Chilean Seabass was perfectly prepared - crispy on top and the rest soft & stringy, and not salty - just how I like my Seabass. The calamari appetizer was also scrumptious- crispy with a delicious sauce. The restaurant is on the second floor giving you partial views of the ocean. The umbrella wasn't big enough to block out the sun from my face but otherwise, it's a great location to dine with a view.

Yelp
Hidden Gem with Ocean Views, Great Beer & Even Better People Stopped into Oak in Laguna Beach for an impromptu afternoon hang, and what a pleasant surprise. First off--the view. If you're looking for a relaxing spot to sip a cold beer while watching the sun dip toward the Pacific, this place nails it. We were lucky enough to meet Tony, the owner, who couldn't have been more welcoming. You can tell he puts his heart into the place. And our bartender, Vicky, was absolutely exceptional--friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. She added that extra touch that turned a casual stop into a standout experience. Food? Delicious. Service? Top-notch. The vibe? Chill, coastal, and just right. Can't wait to come back. Cheers to good people, good drinks, and a perfect Laguna sunset.

Yelp
My friends were joining me for lunch from LA & SanDiego so I wanted them to have the best experience. We were greeted very warmly by Darwin who also helped me on the phone with the reservations couple days prior! Darwin went over and beyond with the hospitality being a hot day seated us in the nicest patio area with lots of shade. He was also our server, we had the best experience at the "Oak" Food was amazing, great ambiance roof top! Everyone there was helpful and very pleasant. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this place :)
google avatar

Alexis K.

Yelp
Oak was a backup reservation I made for Mother's Day that I'm so glad I had the subconscious foresight for! After a parking-seeking nightmare across the coast of OC, we made our way to the lovely rooftop overlooking PCH and the ocean. It has a clean aesthetic with dark tones. Everyone working there was very kind. We were not rushed throughout our whole time there, but also things came out slowly. Nevertheless, the quality and flavor of food was surprisingly good! It's not a place that lets just its location carry for them. Everyone liked their dish! I got the Smoked Salmon on toast. The toast and toppings itself were delicious, and even the side salad was tasty. Some things were definitely on the pricier side (ex. $20+ sandwiches). However, their Swordfish special was such a good value, so it varies per item.
google avatar

Joy K.

Yelp
It was nice to have a pleasant, low key place to meet my friend and catch up. The happy hour is a perfect time and the menu has nice variety. Reasonable prices too. I was under the impression it was right on the ocean which it isn't, but you do see the ocean and parking is easy.
google avatar

Christine T.

Yelp
Oak was not at the level we expected. The view was amazing and the parking was easy. Our service was friendly, yet slow (although we weren't in a hurry, we started to get antsy). The food was good, but the portion on the scramble was too small for my husband and he did leave disappointed. I enjoyed my salad and fries and ended up ordering another side. We appreciated the experience on a beautiful Sunday in Laguna. :)
google avatar

Katya Z.

Yelp
I would give this spot 3.5 stars if I could. I made a reservation for 4 on a Tuesday at 5:30. This place didn't really get busy at all which is nice if you don't want to go somewhere crowded! It was a relaxed vibe. Our server was really really great! She was attentive and answered all the questions we had. She made us feel very comfortable. She was very cutesy, very demure, very mindful. I had the ahi tuna tacos and the chopped salad. They were both pleasant but nothing really stuck out about them. The tuna tacos had a crispy shell and the tuna was soft and tender. I didn't love it with the cucumber in it - it was very crunchy and lacking flavor. I think if it had avocado instead it would complement it better! The chopped salad had good elements in it but wasn't anything I'd remember. The br'oak'ie was moist, sweet & tasty! I really enjoyed this.
google avatar

Concetta D.

Yelp
Came for some late night bites and a drink. They have some outside bar seating that was nice to get a view and some fresh air at the end of the day. I had the ahi tuna tacos and the sweet and spicy ribs. The tacos were fresh and flavorful, the jicama was a nice added crunch. The ribs were small but you got a pretty nice size stack. Juicy and fell off the bone easily with a fork and knife if you're not looking to dive in. The drinks were tasty I had the lemon and lavender martini and pineapple vibes cocktails. The martini was a bit on the sweet side, good but the meringue topping had some added sweetness. The pineapple vibes was a good balance of a spicy sweet combo. Overall good but a little on the pricey side. It is also pretty far down on south coast so I would say it's more of a destination that there isn't much to do in the area after you eat. Parking is located under the building. Easiest to enter off of Glenneyre Street. The restaurant will validate for the first 2 hours just ask the hostess.
google avatar

Aalia S.

Yelp
I had a fabulous Sunday brunch here! I got the loaded bloody Mary, which was delicious and had so many fun toppings on it! I also tried the short rib Chilaquiles. They were flavorful and the meat was tender. But the star of the show was the Berry pancakes with the Tres leches sauce on it. Those pancakes were the best pancakes I have ever had! The food here is really good and pretty reasonably priced . I was surprised this place wasn't more packed. They even had live music on Sunday and if you sit in the patio, you can have an ocean view. I cannot wait to go back.
google avatar

Sarita P.

Yelp
Restaurant was really nice and the service was great. The food was mediocre. I got the chicken fried steak and a guava mimosa.
google avatar

Loretta N.

Yelp
Had a great dinner here my boyfriend loved his lamb chops and I loved my tomato soup it was very creamy and super cheesy maybe a little too much but I enjoy it! The corn was a little different had a yogurt like taste consistency underneath. Our server was great!

Yelp
Stopped by Oak for the first time. Was very impressed with the food and cocktails. All top notch. Of course our host Tony was amazing as well. We will definitely be back

Maria C L.

Yelp
Compliments to a most Michelin-worthy chef! Excellent plating! I did not want to touch The Most Beautiful Beet Salad! But it was so lovely with The Freshest Burrata, Greens, Escarole, Grilled Peaches, Cashews & Sweet Balsamic Dressing! Crunchiest & freshest Calamari! Awesome Meatballs! Scrumptious Mushroom & Oak Burgers! The best food ever! We will be back for sure! The owner Aghaye Hassan was so kind(mehraban) & hospitable! EVERYONE PLEASE GO TO OAK RESTAURANT LAGUNA BEACH!
google avatar

Lara M.

Yelp
We had an amazing meal at Oak! Visiting Laguna Beach for the first time on a business trip, we had a group dinner (10ppl) at Oak. The ambiance is great - open air dining with great energy but not too loud. Our server Holland took care of our group like a pro! The food was fantastic. We had a variety of appetizers & entrees and everyone loved their meals! Highly recommend.

Ramin G.

Yelp
Great ambiance, wonderful management and delicious food thanks to the new ownership we were pleasantly surprised how good the food and service was We will go there again and recommend this restaurant to all my freinds and family

Pak L.

Yelp
I always tell people that restaurants in L.A. lack the heart factor compared with San Francisco and this restaurant is SF level. I always come here and all the dishes are excellent and never disappoints. The attention to detail is unparalleled. Finally I found one in Southern California that won't complain.

Maureen Woodward E.

Yelp
The statements from the owner are incorrect. He never offered to process a refund or look into how to do that. He simply said it was not possible and had no way to do that. He only offered for me to come and dine there again and receive a $15 credit to do so. No thank you. He also said he had taken over the business 4 months ago and had been working on the wine list since then. It's now been another month and the old wine list is still published on the website. Even if new wines are being evaluated, it is not hard to print a paper menu in the meantime. The servers should also know what they are serving. I did leave a generous tip, as I always do, but the next day after reviewing the wine list online as well as dining at similar restaurants, I was pretty convinced we were scammed. I will not be back. I requested a small adjustment from my credit card company, not a refund of the entire bill. I did not publish any negative review until that request was denied in the very slim chance it was just an honest mistake. You knew and admit here that I was overcharged. If you were interested in making your customers happy you could have granted that. Instead you just want to argue even when you have already taken advantage of a customer.

Steve T.

Yelp
What an amazing experience dining here. The place is under a new ownership and the food, service and ambiance is still all first class. My wife and I each had steak and fish and they were both excellent and not to mention the cocktails and dessert but all in all, we were very pleased with everything and will definitely be back for more.

Yelp
TLDR; good food with a perfect view and aesthetic of a beach style restaurant, with delicious cocktails. Overall this restaurant is perfect for a lunch date with family or friends- reasonably priced and located across the street from Laguna beach. Go up the stairs next to Gina's to access. Our waitress was so friendly and kind and remember our orders perfectly (I wish I remembered her name)! She was also the bar tender and hustling between helping patrons at the bar and our table. Drinks- 4.5/5 We tried a variety of cocktails and martinis which were perfect in flavor and balance of alcohol to additives (purées or sweeteners). They also have a secret menu from their IG where you can get additional cocktails depending on the server Food- 4/5 Perfect portions, packed with flavor this did not disappoint especially with the variety we got. The skillet is small but very dense and the pesto is delicious here too. The oak burger was so filling and massive but could have used a touch more seasoning. Make sure to get the garlic truffle fries, a simple classic but so tasty. The desserts are also good but the vanilla ice cream had an extra flavor that differed from most vanilla ice cream that wasn't as complimentary as it should be. Service- 4/5 Our waitress was great, so kind and did a great job at placing our ordered and remembering our drink profiles. I do wish the food runner/assitant refilled our water a little more frequently during our visit, as we had to ask once or twice. Vibe- 4.5/5 Perfect ambiance and ocean air swept the building even for a winter day The only thing that hinders this is the occasional motorcycles going down PCH which can be loud from time to time during conversation Overall would recommend and will be back for future visits

Terence A.

Yelp
Super flavorful rib appetizer that had me licking my fingers to get all the sauce. My wife said the steak in the tacos had amazing flavor. My Chicken Parm was huge, and the garlicky pasta was a perfect side. My son went healthy and has the stir fry with shrimp - beautiful selection of heirloom veggies, not just the usual stuff. Asked for a view, and had a beautiful balcony seat with a view of the ocean and sunset. Best of all, the service was super - my bad for not asking her name, but she was friendly, attentive and very helpful in curating our meal! Will absolutely be back! Enjoyed a great dinner with my wife and son visiting from LA

Yelp
This is only our second time here, however, our first time was at least a couple of years ago! Not sure why we didn't come back sooner. Came for happy hour, which we didn't know is only at the bar. Bar is always fun, though! For cocktails, I tried Lagunarita (tequila based) and Brah Berry (Vodka based). I enjoyed both, but enjoyed Lagunarita more, while my husband liked Brah Berry more. He had the burger, since it's happy hour, it's probably while it's a tad smaller than regular burger, but definitely bigger than a slider. He enjoyed it! We both loved the ahi tacos...they were fresh and refreshing! The pepperoni flat bread was yummy too! Service was definitely good! Venus was nice and attentive. Ambience was causal, bright and airy. We went before sunset and you can see sliver of the ocean across the street. We will surely be back whenever we can catch their happy hour.

Yelp
It was our first time at Oak and everything was so great. From the food to the service. We also met the owner Tony and he was so nice and hospitable! :)

Yelp
From start to finish, my experience here was fantastic. The service was attentive without being overbearing, the food was perfectly prepared, and the space had such a warm, inviting energy. Highly recommend for any occasion!

Yelp
We have driven by this restaurant many times and finally decided to pop in for Happy Hour. For starters, the location is awesome! It's directly across from the beach. So, if you're hoping to catch the beautiful California Sunset, there's a good chance you can do that from their patio. They have ample parking available in the garage underneath the building. They also validate, so it won't cost you a dime. The decor has a clean modern feel. We sat at the bar to enjoy their Happy Hour. Definitely worth stopping in! The cocktails tasted as good as they looked! They know how to pour creative beverages. My Orange Bourbon Sour & Lavender and Meringue put the "Happy" in our Happy Hour! The food was also on point! We shared the Ahi Tacos & Braised Short Rib Quesadilla. Absolute deliciousness! We will be back!

Yelp
The Oak is a fantastic restaurant. I've been a few times, the first my sister and I came and sat outside on the patio and enjoyed margaritas, and their appetizers. Inside is a moody, relaxed vibe perfect for a date! Outside on the patio is more laid back, and there's a great view of the beach and you can people watch. The second time I visited last week my friend and I just dropped in for cocktails before dinner. I had one of their signature cocktails and it was so tart! It was a berry vodka drink, my friend had a dirty martini with blue cheese olives. We both enjoyed our drinks (they were strong!) Make sure to call an Uber so you can relax. Great place for a meet up, date, girls night out, celebrate etc. up some stairs, and you'll easily see it on the corner. Our server was professional, polite, and anticipated all of our needs and made sure they were met! Can't wait to come back again.

Yelp
Oak has great ambiance and good food. I was pleased with my burger and Chef Fabian's salad. The service was also prompt and kind. There were plenty of reservations available day of.

Yelp
Amazing everything... & the handsome older gentleman greeting everyone. The Chef specials were tasty & generous. Lamb Shank, YUM & the Chicken, yum yum. Must revisit destination.

Yelp
Despite of our server's terrific service and cool ambience, the foods we ordered were below our expectations. Berry spritz did not have any sweets that should come from either the lemonade or the berry purées, Oak Street Classic Meatballs were ok but nothing special about it, none of the foods on Nana's Chicken plate were seasoned well except the fried chicken, and the sea bass was cooked in perfection but wasn't seasoned at all. Mashed potatoes bedded under the sea bass were great but the orange jícama relish and lemon mustard sauce were not seasoned and they felt out of place. When you eat them with the sea bass, all three did not blend together. There are plenty of parking spaces and you can get a validation from the restaurant.

Yelp
Great view from the ocean and sit on the top of the second floor with refreshing sea breeze. Brunch selections are legit and the food plate is simpl pretty good!

Yelp
My family and I had a wonderful experience at Oak which is an absolute gem. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a breathtaking ocean view that sets the perfect backdrop for any meal. Sitting on the balcony as the sun sets over the water feels like its own experience. The food is just as impressive as the view. Every dish that we ordered were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From the seafood to the lighter options, everything tasted like it was prepared with real care. Portions are generous, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable given the prime location and quality. Service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, making the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. It's rare to find a spot that combines absolutely delicious and incredible food, a stunning view, and great service all in one place. Highly recommend this cozy restaurant for anyone visiting Laguna Beach, whether for a casual weekend brunch, a romantic dinner, or just to enjoy the coastline with a memorable meal. We will definitely go back again.
