Amazing brewery, quality beer, great indoor/outdoor seating. Amazingly In-Efficient bar and ordering system. It should not take longer to grab a beer on a Wednesday than it takes to get through TSA at SFO. A bit ridiculous. Otherwise, amazing spot. $9 pints roughly

One: this pulled chicken bbq sandwich is FIRE!!! Two: I am not a fan of lager type beer. I think they're typically flat and tasteless/bland. This lager, had me going back n forth being mad that I can no longer say, "I don't like lager" cause I wanted to hate it, but the subtle notes of flavor wouldn't let me maintain that stance. It's light but perfect for this 100 degree summer day!

Decided to check out this brewery with my family, who was here visiting from Colorado! We needed a dog friendly location, and we've been wanting to pay a visit here, so we entered into the super cool vibe here! I really enjoyed the Ube Pilsner German beer! Ordered a BLTA and a cheeseburger, both with fries! Very good, very fresh and very delicious! I'm getting that cheeseburger next time!!! It was such a beautiful day today to be outside, enjoying good company with a cold brew and tasty bites. What a great time and all the staff are super friendly and nice.

Google
Oak Park Brewing is a gem. It's got a cozy atmospheric bar with expansive shaded outside seating. The beer is excellent. We had both the west coast IPA and the hazy on offer and they were delicious. Seriously, we could not decide between which to order so we ordered both. It was lunch so we only had the Santa Fe salad and the chicken tenders with fries. While neither was astonishing, they were both quite tasty and no leftovers were taken home. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and they cheerfully brought a dog bowl full of water for our puppy. Happy to say that dogs are welcome in the outside area. When we grabbed our table I was blown away by the table topper that laid out their Oak Park Brewing Company code of conduct. Art, beer, and community: That's what they are all about. Perfection.

Google
Very nice place and they have some really good beers. Lot of IPA options with Hazy and Imperial. The staff is very friendly and plenty of open space to sit outside and inside. With good weather the obvious choice was to sit outside :) The food looked delicious but I didnt try. The parking is bit difficult to find.

Google
We loved it!! Even though it's a bit of a drive for us, we can't wait to go back. Great people, great beer, great food, great atmosphere. The food was a delightful surprise..everything was so fresh, even the salad dressing was from scratch. Delicious.

Google
Oak Park Brewing Co. in Sacramento, CA, is a hidden gem! Their craft beers are top-notch, and the diverse menu caters to all tastes. The rustic ambiance and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a beer aficionado or just looking for a great time, this place delivers! 🍻🍔

My wife and I just popped in for a quick beer. We were both really happy with our selections (Mystic IPA for me and some sort of Peach wheat beer for her). It was a beautiful evening so, the patio was perfect for the vibes.

Sarah S.

Yelp
Oak Park Brewing was a wonderful experience. They had great beers and great food. The patio was nice with lawn games and seating for guests. We had the chicken sandwich and the beet salad which was delicious! I would recommend this place if you are in the area!

Yelp
I've come here a couple times and it's always a good experience. They have a huge outdoor area which is great during the spring and fall. Last night I went and they have some great heaters by a couple tables so it's not too cold! You walk up and order and then they bring your food to your table. I got their pulled pork quesadilla and it was fine! Nothing too special but it was yummy. It came with a side of pico, guacamole, and sour cream. It's all street parking so keep that in mind but oak park is really cute so if you park a little further away, you and walk around and see the cute shops. I recommend if you're looking for a nice, easy, and casual place to grab a beer and some food. They do have wine too!

Yelp
I love this South Sacramento incarnation of this brewery. Good food, and good beer, what else can you ask for. The neighborhood is getting all sorts of great places.

Candace Y.

Yelp
It's been over 6 years since I last visited this brewery. I heard that there was a change of hands some years ago that I had been unaware of. Well, since I was in the neighborhood for the Sunday farmers market and was thirsty and hungry, I decided to check out what was around. I was pleased to discover that they not only had a porter on the draught list, but they also had brunch-y foods on the menu. The patio was informal and very inviting. Canine friends were welcomed. Dog water bowls were available so pooches could water up while their humans beered up. I like the informal, friendly and relaxed vibe. The porter was tasty and refreshing. The eggs benedict with browned country potatoes was delicious and filling. The staff made us feel welcome. What more could I ask for? I will definitely be back to try more items on both the beer menu and the food menu. This would be a good place to meet up with friends. It's very spacious.

Jacky P.

Yelp
What a great place! It was recommend to us by a couple of people and I'm so glad we came. The hatch chili burger was one of the best burgers I've had in sac in a while! It's bursting with flavor from the peppers, to the spicy aoli, to the juicy meat. Seriously sooo good and so fresh. I paired my meal with the blackberry cider and it was refreshing. The service was friendly and efficient, no complaints. And there is lots of space indoors and outdoors during the week. Perfect place to relax a little.. I will be back for another burger!

Rachel K.

Yelp
There are so many great businesses in Oak Park, I could easily spend the whole day exploring the area... although it would be easy to spend a lot of that time at Oak Park Brewing. The space is really cool and they have indoor and outdoor seating available. The outdoor area is bigger and is great for groups big and small. You order up at the bar and they bring your food out to you. There's a good selection of beers on tap and the food options are great too. On our latest visit we ordered a few beers, their brussel sprouts ($10), the West Coast Philly ($17), and Chicken Tenders ($14). All of the food was delicious and paired really well with the beers we ordered. Check out their Instagram for different beer releases and events.

Malikah H.

Yelp
Came here on one of the days they had a live band and boy was it a vibe. I've come here a few times as well and this place never fails to disappoint. The service was on point and the staff was very attentive to our needs. Great place to come for Happy hour or just a random Tuesday beer run. Arnold Palmer 5/5 Eggplant sliders 0/5 bland and just NO Tater tots-5/5 Tacos-4/5

Adam G.

Yelp
I stopped here because I had not been to this Brewery before. The beer itself is quite nice. I had the Lazy Hazy, and it had a very Lush taste on the palate. If you're not a fan of hazy, I would definitely say not to get this one. When I go to a brewery I always keep an open mind when it comes to the food that is served and with the hatch chili burger it was okay the flavors were fighting each other especially with the Pickled jalapeno. The Hatch Chili the roasted lost some of its flavor because it was trying to combat not only the jalapeno but the aioli sauce on the burger. I think a little bit of salt would have been great to harmonize the flavors. The most amazing piece of this though is the servers behind the bar they have great energy are very quick about getting an order and make you feel at home at this establishment. I will definitely be coming back to try out the other beers as the one 22 oz I got made me a little happy ;-)

Yelp
I haven't been to OPB in years and we decided to visit again after my husband and I were looking for some place for brunch that we hadn't been in a while. I love the vibe of OPB and the Oak Park area in general. I love checking out the different businesses in the area and OPB is right in the heart of it. Staff is always amazing and personable, my husband has become a regular and the owners always say hi and chat with him when he visits. I ordered a can of the Cherry Pie Pop which had flavors of cherries and vanilla - it was so good. One of the best Sour Kettles that I've tried in a long time! For food, we ordered The Royal OPB and the BLT and A. The burger was a bit messy, but the flavor was great. I also really enjoyed the BLT. They offer a brunch menu on the weekends and cans of their select beers to go. I'm kicking myself for not taking home a pack of the Cherry Pie Pop. Overall, I love the vibes of OPB and we love supporting local businesses. One of the owners was also apart of opening up Track 7 Brewery! Check out OPB if you haven't, or if you have, check them out again - have a beer or 2 and stay a while! They're kid friendly too!

Yelp
I'm so excited to finally try this vegan friendly spot! Met up with friends and dogs and this was the perfect spot to do so. 3 clearly identified entrees and more that you could adjust. Staff was really friendly and the outdoor patio was great. I'd definitely recommend and go back to try the other vegan and options and brunch!

Cas S.

Yelp
Great quick bite and beer. Grilled chicken caesar salad was heavy dressed, but really good.

S ..

Yelp
I probably hit up Oak Park brewing every other month. Food is good and the ambiance is nice. There are sometimes events there as well so it can get loud but it's always a good vibe. There are a few TVs inside and they'll often put on a specific game if you were hoping to watch something. The beer is always good! You order at the front and they give you a number so not really a waiter/waitress situation but the service is always nice!

Rita B.

Yelp
We stopped by here last week during the People's Beer Festival. I loved the aesthetic upon entering, hip but comfortable. Big communal tables, four tops and a patio with even more seating. As you enter, you join the line to order. There's a menu on the wall and at the register. The menu has variety but is fairly small so you don't need a ton of time to decide (we had also checked out the menu online beforehand). Staff is very patient and didn't make us feel rushed; she actually started pouring our beers while I took my time deciding. We shared a western bacon cheeseburger and Buffalo cauliflower bites. That burger was so juicy and delicious! I love cauliflower bites but usually they are drenched in sauce and too spicy for me. These were awesome because the sauce was on the side. But, more importantly, the cauliflower was perfectly battered (and didn't slide off) and al dente. The beers were also delicious, wish we'd had time to try more. I can't wait to come back here!

Sean D.

Yelp
Don't be scared! Oak Park has really picked up their game! Perfect spot to dip in for some great local brew and grub! Check it out!

Ayall S.

Yelp
I enjoyed this place a lot more than I imagined. Friendly staff and they have a large outdoor space which is great on a beautiful day. Nice variety of beers on draft, though the pricing strategy is odd; it was $1 more for a 22oz ($9) vs a 16oz ($8). The food seemed a bit pricey for bar food, but tasted pretty good. Giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 because of the pricey food, and illogical beer pricing. I'd rather a more even distribution on beer price so a flight is more affordable and I can try a wider variety of items on draft. Lastly, when I was leaving they mentioned they do $10 growler refills on certain days, so I'd definitely recommend checking that out if you're a fan of their beers.

Alex S.

Yelp
We went back again! The weather was really nice out and we were craving burgers. Oak Park Brewing is conveniently located, and honestly, they have a pretty good deal for burgers and beers. My husband and I both ordered burgers. He got the green chili burger and I got the Oak Park burger and added cheddar cheese and pickles. They were both really good. The portions are HUGE. The green chili burger is definitely a bit messy yet delicious. The Oak Park Burger was a classic, very good burger. The meat was juicy and not over cooked which I appreciate. The brioche buns were perfect. The fries were also good! Nothing to write home about, but we were so full after the burgers we could barely eat them anyhow.

Jonathan A.

Yelp
Came here once last week for a beer and again today to try their food. Last week's sour was pretty good and their hazy IPA I had today was excellent. I shared their chicken sandwich and pretzel with a buddy of mine. Both were great but the chicken sandwich was kind of small overall for being $17. I did enjoy the ambiance and service here along with the food and beer. Definitely a must try.

Maria W.

Yelp
This is a great spot to grab dinner and hang out! There is both indoor and outdoor seating (outside, there are a plethora of misters that effectively keep the heat at bay), with an open layout and cool art on the walls. The Giant Pretzels were hot and delicious, the beer cheese dipping sauce creamy and lightly cheesy. Great appetizer to split with a group or to devour yourself! The Santa Fe Chicken Salad was decent, though the dressing was a bit too watery and a bit too spiced for me. I think I'd go for the Caesar Salad if I visited again, which my friend got, and which looked amazing. The chicken tenders were also super good.

Meghan K.

Yelp
Great beer, nice people and amazing brussels sprouts! Looking forward to visiting again!

Ericka H.

Yelp
12/28/2024 The staff is WONDERFUL! VERY accommodating and friendly. The cashier, Sadirah was so patient with me as I navigated the Grubhub app. She was kind and informative. The male server, Tim, was kind and patient as well when I made an error ordering! As customers walked in, they were so warm, and you could tell they have a great rapport with the COMMUNITY! great music and vibes. mind you, we were just here last night. Our cashier last night was also wonderful, though I didn't catch her name. Ordered: the BLT-A (BOMB), wings w/bbq sauce (my husband is a CHICKEN man and he approved) and two OPB burgers. Both parent and kid approved.

Culinary C.

Yelp
Good food, friendly service. Consistent for the most part. Beers/Drinks tasty. -$5 friday fill up ,sweet! Outdoor patio is nice, however on occasion their DJ is ridiculously loud, like we have to leave because it's insanely loud at 6:30pm. It's not a club...it's a brewery/restaurant. Live Music = great. DJ rapping incoherently at an ear piercing volume too loud for the club = Not good

Chastity R.

Yelp
The food is surprisingly really good and tasty. It's a cool little place inside. The patio is a vibe in the spring, summer and fall. The beer is yummy and staff is welcoming and friendly.

Jason C.

Yelp
Great place to chill, sip some brews, attend an event and also have some great food while taking in the local History (Ourstory).

Lauren F.

Yelp
I hereby declare that Oak Park Brewing has the best buffalo cauliflower bites in the land, period. Buffalo Cauliflower Bites (v) - crispy tempura OPB beer batter fried cauliflower served with a side of vegan buffalo sauce. SO GOOD! The West Coast Philly is perfect for sharing, get the side salad to pretend you are being healthy. All dressings are made in house and they are freaking delicious. OPB cares about its community, their beer releases and events raise money for and bring awareness to local nonprofits and artists. Every can of beer is a 16oz canvas. For the month of April, OPB is participating in the @painttheglobefoundation, artwork from around the world has been donated and is on display at the brewery with the option to bid and take your favorite home (all proceeds will be donated). The six pieces that bring in the highest bids will be featured on an exclusive six pack release that will debut Saturday, May 6th from 4-8 PM. Dope!

Chasen O.

Yelp
Having the privilege of working right down the street from this establishment has been a blessing. The food is very good and the beer selection is always changing and delicious. However the best part of this establishment is the crew. Every employee from all levels have shown a standard if customer service that all their competitors should strive for. Wether its brunch, lunch or dinner OPB is the place to be.

Antonio S.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem. I had the wings, quesadilla and a beer. Staff is friendly. They have plenty of outdoors seating and about 5 tables inside which includes 2 large tables that could seat about 10 each. It cost me about $36 and well worth it but I have a suggestion later. Wings came out with the dry rub I requested. They gave me the whole wing (drum and thigh), which I wasn't expecting. Very flavorful and even more tasty once dipped in the ranch dressing. Quesadilla had chicken, peppers, onions and very little cheese IMO. There was no cheese stretch at all. Disappointing to be honest. The beer was strong, light and crisp. Improvements: please get the fly situation under control. I left from outside to avoid them but alas they found my plate nonetheless. I didn't take my leftovers because a fly landed on it... inside, sadly. Customer service could be improved because you're left to your own devices once they have given you food and drinks. Again, asking for tips at the point of sale, then providing no service is disingenuous. Bathroom had graffiti carved into the mirror. The door knob was also tampered with. I think a $20 lunch special could drive more traffic in here. Maybe a wings and a beer. #WingWednesday There were only about 10 customers during my visit. It looked to be some kind of private service area in the back (Photo attached). P - parking: 2/5 P - price: 3/5 S - seating: 4/5 T - time to be served: 3/5 T - time to be acknowledged: 4/5 V - value: 4/5 V - return value: 5/5

Alle B.

Yelp
Good food, good beer, love the cute neighborhood. Service was great, outdoor patio would be awesome on a warm day.

Ben M.

Yelp
Burgers and beer! This spot is delicious, it's fast and it has a neighborhood vibe that feels good. The outdoor seating area has plenty of space for big groups. The beer selection was great and the quality was excellent. The craft brew was used in the food, always a plus. My burger was a little dry, I was alright with it. Something for everyone in the family, I'm a fan and I'll be going back. It's also in a convenient location.

Anna O.

Yelp
Super clean, easy to find parking, friendly and helpful staff. I love the fact that they have a pitcher of beer option. We had the People's beer (lager) which is always nice and cold. My daughter and I also ordered a pomegranate cider from Two rivers, which had a great flavor but was not cold enough. I ordered the Oak Park burger but had to add an additional side of bacon and cheddar cheese which drove the price up. The meat was juicy, had a lot of flavor and the bun was a plain Brioche but nice and warm. My husband had the tenders and fries which had a great spice dry rub kick to them. The tenders were a bit over cooked but he would have them again. The fries were excellent. We sat in their outside patio and it was a very hot day but they have amazing misters that made everything just perfect.

Richard W.

Yelp
Great brewery. The staff is great, it is very clean, the beer selection is great and food is awesome. I cannot wait to go back. There is a huge patio with tables and shade and parking is ok.

Gigi J.

Yelp
It was a toss up between this place and Urban Roots. UR looks like it has more food options but the turnoff was order at the counter. All breweries with a full menu s/b full service, IMO. So we picked this spot bc I saw pix of a full service bar ... NOT the case when we got there! =( Order at the counter, pick up your beer and drinks at the bar (which isn't for sitting anymore) and luckily they bring your food to you! Cuz if you have to get up again and get your food, that's no different than McD's and other fast food places! Yes, I'm petty but those things matter. Glad the guy offered to carry our flights to our table cuz 4 8oz glasses is not ez to maneuver across the room! Our flight consisted of the butterfly pea flower lemonade cider, pie of the tiger apricot sour, St. Cyrus and American strong ale. I only liked the cider. Liked the humongous pretzel, more nacho cheese plz! The Irish nachos with tots were yummy and plentiful, and the west coast Philly had a generous serving of steak. Was a little disappointed they no longer had fish tacos, fish n chips or any sausages. Was looking forward to those items with beer after browsing all the Yelp pix. Super comfy spot inside and out, would definitely be back!

KC C.

Yelp
We hosted an after work event at Oak Park Brewing in the patio area. Upon arrive the Oak Park team welcomed me and kept me informed of catering and drinks tickets and always checked back to see if we needed anything. The food was perfect and delicious and set up outside on the patio table with fans. Great place to host an outdoor event for large groups, children and dog friendly. Great selection of beers as well. Street parking. Thank you Oak Park Brewing I'll see you again.

Deanne A.

Yelp
This place is friendly for vegans! Bring your vegan friends here and they will feel seen :) And there is BRUNCH! The outdoor space here is huge and I love the atmosphere. The artwork and plants are gorgeous! I also like being able to see into the kitchen. It's pretty cool for this type of spot!! Everyone is always so friendly and the service is FAST! My husband loves all the beers and I will try whatever seltzer or least beer-y thing they're offering at the moment. Which they always have something. I wish we lived closer! I think we will be hanging out here a lot this summer! Please keep your vegan noms on the menu. Thank you!!

Trevor M.

Yelp
I love this place. The food is great, the beer is great the service is friendly. BUT... One cashier/bar tender?? It's painful how slow this business model works. One cashier that takes your order and pours all the beers each party orders before moving on to the next person in line? This can make for a long verrry slow moving line whether it's Friday night or randomly on a Wednesday. I love this place so much but it drives me nuts and discourages me from coming in on even slightly busy days or from getting up to order another beer with the lack of a table service option. Im glad you guys are here, I'm glad you survived Covid, if this is the only way to make it work then so be it, but I visit this place less and spend less because of it. Much love.

Alex D.

Yelp
Great food, great beer, great staff! Chill vibe and a great place to grab a beer with friends.

Anna S.

Yelp
I love the vegan options at Oak Park brewery, but the Fun Philly I ordered yesterday was barely a sandwich. Only 6 small slices of mushroom (it's a mushroom sandwich, this menu item used to be full of mushrooms!) The peppers & onions were mostly burnt scraps, and the entire sandwich looked like it had been dropped on the floor. The fries were undercooked, I sent them back & the second batch of fries were still solid in the center (wayyy undercooked). OPB has been my neighborhood go-to for over 3 years, but in the last year and a half I have been disappointed time after time. Service is always friendly & relatively fast, the open patio is awesome. I wish they would return to serving high quality food.

Raheem A.

Yelp
Although I'm not a fan of beer, I love that breweries usually offer an environment that promotes social connectivity. Juggling careers, family, plus everything else that life brings our way; my buddies and I love to congregate at breweries to catch up and enjoy a cold beer or two. When one of my friend's suggested that we meet at Oak Park Brewing, I was excited to see what they had to offer on tap. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by an employee who was ready to take my order. If you have read my reviews for other breweries, you e probably noticed a trend...I'm only a fan of the fruit forward beers. Therefore, I ordered the Butterfly Pea Flower Lemonade (first round) and the Pie of the Tiger Apricot (second round). Both selections were delicious and will be revisited if available in the future. Oak Park Brewing was the perfect choice for our meet up. The backyard area is extremely spacious and has seating arranged so that your conversations do not carry (unless you prefer to share your business with strangers). I forgot to mention a small touch that was big in my books...they had a nice, nostalgic 90's RNB playlist going. I highly recommend checking out Oak Park Brewing!

Gerlie S.

Yelp
Chill spot, never too crowded when I am here. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. They are mostly a beer spot but they serve brunch, burgers and salads as well.

Lynn H.

Yelp
I have never reviewed this place?! Dang! I do love this joint though. They have a great outdoor seating area and food is always delicious. This place opened up after one of the partners in Track 7 split off and opened his own business. It's better than T7 in my humble opinion, but go ahead and check it out and see what I mean! They have great sandos, fries, and delicious beer! Great for an afternoon hanging with friends.

Chris Z.

Yelp
Im not sure if management took my feedback or if I was just being too harsh in my original review, but I recently visited with my family and I see elements of the local culture (including artwork from an important local Black artist and activist Milton510--or at least what appears to be his work) and a friendly, diverse staff. I can appreciate the longstanding quality and service to the community, too. Kudos to OPB!

Christine B.

Yelp
Not impressed. I was hoping to really like this place. The staff so ho-hum not very engaging. Got the chile pepper burger, pretty bland and the beer was so-so. No need to go out of my way for this place

Andy S.

Yelp
Had the IMP Burger and 2 puppy chicken patties for my Dogson. It was busy inside due to the weather , but we were taken care of. I had a glass of chardonnay as well. It was a great atmosphere not too busy not too loud, that looks like to be a nice seating area outside but it was a bit cold out there. The bar lady Wolf, really welcoming, really nice. Me & the pup wanna come back.

Kimberly T.

Yelp
****black owned brewery****** This was a wonderful experience. We have great time...drinking beer and listening to music. We planted ourselves on the outdoor patio and people watched.

James D.

Yelp
I find this to be one of the better breweries around. It's actually leans in hard as a restaurant...but it's a brewery and tap house. A great place to gather, have parties, socialize or sit quietly with a lonely pint. All jokes aside, this place is great. Great pours, great seating, great swag and the food is exceptional. Ok, get it, find it, enjoy. They have a nice social presence on Instagram...it's great.

Loren M.

Yelp
Very cool space and will return when in the area. Happy to see this thriving in the area. We need more businesses to take a chance

Terry W.

Yelp
Went with new friends. Two female travelers from France! Ordered appetizers. All good. Introduced the girls to Tater Tots and ranch dressing. A hit with them. All good!

Dre S.

Yelp
Great brewery with lots of outdoor seating. The food is great. I love their tenders specifically. But what I love the most is their flights. So much beer, so little money.

Judy H.

Yelp
We went here on a Saturday 7:30ish. The place wasn't too crowded. We sat inside and there were plenty of tables. Casual and relaxed atmosphere. Our cashier was friendly. We ordered several of their beers and the pretzel balls. This place is within the "right" price point for pretty much everyone. Really enjoyed our time there. Will come back when we are in the area.
