Yelp
I hate to give a 1 star review during a pandemic, but this place made me wish I went to bed hungry. It was a $60 meal that could've been 20... We ordered the family pack meal with moist brisket, sausages, mac, and creamed corn. We also ordered a side of fries, chocolate cake, banana pudding, and oreo cheesecake.
I'm not sure of this, but honestly, they served frozen food that you can buy at the grocery store. It was odd that everything we tasted, felt like the stuff that we can find in the freezer aisle. It was the blandest of the bland, extremely small proportions, and very odd cuts.
Brisket moist: more than 90% of the 'meat' was fat. We barely had anything to eat. At least it was moist and was the only thing that had salt and pepper..
Sausage: I'm trying to remember the brand name, but it literally tastes, looks, and feels like that long cheap sausage that you can buy at any grocery store. Ridiculous.
Mac cheese: tasted like flour, pasta way over cooked, it was an odd burn flour looking color, tasted like nothing, and was gritty???
Creamed corn: it wasnt creamy at all, it looked like corn tossed in flour and milk, color was of sand
Fries: same exact thing!! I can go into the freezer aisle and find any fries and cook it myself. It tasted the same exact way. Usually fries have salt on them, this was cooked and thrown into the take away box.
The desserts were the nail in the coffin. We cried when they were tasted. The banana pudding was milk like, the whipped cream was the common canned whipped cream that you can buy at the store. (It was a liquid when we got it) the oreo pie tasted like stale oreos, no cream cheese, and whipped cream. Chocolate cake felt like we were eating a dry block of chocolate and tons of raw sugar.
The best part? All 3 of us were sick when we woke up. Beware of this restaurant people... take your money elsewhere.
