"Oasis Brewery, originally opened in Boulder in 1991 and closed in 2002, has reopened near Highlands Square in the Tudor revival-style Beth Eden Baptist Church. The building is a nearly 90-year-old, 4,000-square-foot structure with vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows. The brewery's beer lineup includes award-winning beers from the 1990s and early 2000s, as well as new releases." - Josie Sexton

Stopped in for beers during the Highland Square fest. Had a flight and a pretzel. Flight was 5 beers and all of them were good. 3 really surprisingly easy to drink IPAs a sour and an English mild that my wife really liked. Pretzel was good and the prices were decent. Nice bathrooms. Friendly staff

Google
Oasis is phenomenal. The beers, while not a big selection are great. Great representations of the styles. They taproom is amazing. It's located inside an old church. Super high ceiling, open, and welcoming inside. Oasis is a great place!

Jacob Schmidt

Google
Nice atmosphere with a solid selection of beers. I did a sampler of all the beers that were on tap and enjoyed all of them. They were true to style and had good body and finish. I found the ESB to be especially delicious. The patio looks like it will be really nice, but it wasn't quite warm enough for it when we went. It looks like this will be a nice addition to the neighborhood.

Google
Beautiful space, great service. Starting to get more styles on tap now. Definitely a classic brewery style and flavor wise but that is what they are going for so I was fine with it. Hopefully some experiments coming. The Cinco de mayo beer with Chile salt rim is a home run. More of that please. Love that the lobster truck was there!

Patrick Wessels

Google
Great brewery atmosphere with a great selection of beer. I chose the red and it was delicious. Service was quick and accurate. The selection of tables were good too, with some high tops, tables and side booths. They had music the night that I went.

Google
It’s great to have a brewery with some wonderful malt forward beers. ESBs, Nut Brown Ales, and a dark-roast-malt forward oatmeal stouts are not frequently found in the CO brewery scene. The taproom is bright, airy, and industrial with plenty of exposed brick and steel beams. Will definitely come back for their street side patio once the warm weather kicks in!

Michael Gilbert

Google
Easily my favorite brewery in Denver. Such a beautiful interior to match the tasty beers on tap. The beertenders are all great and super friendly. I have yet to have a bad experience here. The front patio is dog friendly and you may even get your furry friend featured on their Instagram page! They have a wide variety of weekly events and food trucks. Not to mention the best Geeks Who Drink trivia host on Thursday nights!

Google
The place is decorated very well! I had high expectations walking in, the beers were decent but I was very disappointed with the ‘meat and cheese board’. You get a few crackers, packaged (!?) meat and 2 pieces of cheese. The menu says you should get jam, which we didn’t get even after pointing it out to the waiter. Anyways the board was very disappointing.. The rest looks good though. (They reached out to me and refunded the money for the board which was nice of them to do!)

Yelp
I've been to plenty of breweries since I started my adventuring as a craft beer explorer and some of those breweries have very specific themes. For example I have been to a brewery about ogres and I have heard of one in Canada that's all about Flying Monkeys... haven't made it to that one yet. So why not a brewery that is Egyptian themed? Actually I had Oasis Brewing on my list for quite a while to try so it was satisfying that I managed to make it here at last. I love the neighborhood the brewery is in and have fond memories of spending time in this neighborhood when I lived in Denver so it was nice to revisit. For beer I had the Kolsch 32. I do love a good kolsch sometimes and this one wasn't any exception to the rule. It was very refreshing and had a lemony, acidy, sweet, clean and crisp flavor highlights to it that I found enjoyable. That sounds like a lot is going on there but it was well balanced. There were other beers that looked intriguing like a Nitro Vanilla Porter as I scrolled through on Untappd but I didn't see that one on tap. I could have missed it though.

Yelp
Service - very nice and attentive staff. Appreciated the table service at a brewery. Ambiance - 4 stars. It was decorated well for Christmas and it's a cool building (I think an old church?). There are two levels which is nice to have the second floor to go to and be a little isolated. When we were there, there was a band that came in and we had to go somewhere else because it was too loud to talk to one another/play games. Beer - the beer itself is just not great. We've been to many breweries in the Denver metro area and I unfortunately wouldn't recommend this one compared to all the other breweries in the area, the beer is just meh. I had the nitro stout which was decently smooth, but there was not much flavor (would've been nice with maybe some lactose or holiday flavors - cocoa or peppermint?). Tasted generic and not differentiated as their own in any way. The second beer I got was the raspberry brown which was unique. It tasted mostly raspberry and was just interesting to be paired with a brown ale. Bummer - the location is great so I wish the beer was a bit better to get me coming back.

Yelp
This brewery is located inside of an old church. So cute! We came here on a Saturday and got to enjoy the live music they have. The service was good, very helpful with picking out beers to fit your taste. We ordered the pretzel and it was yummy They have other events like trivia and I think bingo throughout the week that I'd love to check out next time.

Salinda C.

Yelp
Brewery in an old church from 1943; decent beers and a free comedy show! Good local and friendly place to hang out inside or out.

Eddie C.

Yelp
This brewery is in a beautiful building. I love the exterior and I love the theme and decor inside. Great concept. I ordered a flight of five beers. I enjoyed four out of five beers. Only one I didn't like was the Tut Brown but the rest were so good it didn't matter. The service here was good and the bartender was welcoming. This is a jewel in the Denver craft beer community.

Ashley T.

Yelp
Love the people and the beer here! The bartenders can always recommend something good if you aren't familiar with the beer options. Super friendly. There is lots of seating available to hang out and also cornhole!

Kara H.

Yelp
Love the aesthetic of the interior- industrial and With a touch of Egyptian. The music they were playing was fab- old school jazz, or lotus by Radiohead. It was very relaxing. The beers were excellent as well- we did the kolch, the ipa citrus slam, the peach wheat, and the cherry. The cherry tasted like cough syrup, but everything else was so good. Highly recommend!

Emilee K.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this place and was not disappointed. As a millennial born in the 1990s, they were playing some Fall Out Boy playlist, there was a card game between a bartender and patron, and they were playing Harry Potter on the TV. Am I now looking at the apartments next door because of this? Most definitely. The beer was easy drinking, the vibes were comfortable and cozy, and I immediately knew this was a neighborhood spot I wanted to be a local at.

Madi H.

Yelp
My friends and I came here for trivia night on Thursdays (Geeks Who Drink) and had so much fun! It filled up pretty quick so we had to sit upstairs but that's was no issue. I tried their sour that was on tap, and friends tried various drinks, and we all loved it. I also ordered from the food truck that was there at the time (K and D Kitchen) and it was so tasty. Our waitress was great and really helpful, even on a busy night. The building itself is pretty big and really cute. We've been looking to try out new trivia spots and this might just be the place! It would be fun to come here on a weekend afternoon, too.

Peter G.

Yelp
Cool vibe and very good beer! Their seasonal pumpkin one was delicious, but their Beyond the Pale (IPA) was one of the best IPA's I've had around. We got slices from Pizza Alley down the road (delicious) and ate them with our beer. 10/10 would recommend

Sebastian S.

Yelp
Came here with a PubPass that was accepted graciously during these times. This was our first outing after all the Covid shut downs and the staff seemed very covid cautious! Wiped all the tables as soon as someone left, sanitizers on all tables. Dog friendly patio! Water for you furbb by request. We got 2 beers and a 12in pizza for about 22 bucks with our PubPass on a Friday evening. Pizza is thin crust and very good. On Sundays they do $15 growler refills with the exception of their special brews! Awesome deal! Had to come back Sunday and refill a couple growlers haha (pic from Sunday) Very good beer, will be back again. Cheers!

Ashley P.

Yelp
Beer = Great Aesthetic = Awesome Tim = The Best We've been coming to this spot for over a year now and love it. They make a genuine effort to ensure you have a good experience and it shows, even when they're busy.

Claire M.

Yelp
Wow! What a nice new brewery in the Highlands! My boyfriend and I bought a groupon for when his parents were in town - the Groupon for 4 cost just under $50 and included 4 flights (five 5 oz pours) and 4 growlers. Such an awesome deal! The ambiance was super cool inside and there was a super nice patio to chill out on. And the service was awesome as well (thanks Ashley!)! I wish I could say I loved the beer but unfortunately I wasn't crazy about any of the ones I tried. The Pale Ale & Oatmeal Stout were my favorites, but none had any really unique flavors that I'd go back for, which is why I'm giving Oasis 4 stars. I'm looking forward to seeing what other brews they come up with though! Definitely worth checking out for the atmosphere!

Katie N.

Yelp
They are open for growler and pint side pickups. The bartender was EXTREMELY gracious that I stopped by to get some beer. This is one of my favorite local breweries and happy to support them! Growler and beer was just about $30 and they will sanitize growlers for any future fill ups. Thanks oasis!

David K.

Yelp
Went here on Saturday afternoon for the first time. Location is great. Brewery is in an old church but you could never tell from the inside. Only the outside. A lot of tables. They do have food and food trucks. Small patio. Good selection of beer from light to dark. Very friendly staff. All beers were really solid. Cheers!

Amanda W.

Yelp
Got this as a Groupon- 4 beers for two people minimum. It wasn't busy at all and it was a beautiful day. Beers were good and so was the atmosphere. Popcorn for free and they also have a little menu to order from of cheese and such. It was a nice place to sit and catch up with my bestie of 22 years

Carmen G.

Yelp
We love the chill atmosphere at Oasis! Each time we go we have good drinks, good service and a good time. The outdoor seating is dog friendly so our dog, Sadie, can happily tag along. Although they don't serve food, occasionally a food truck will team up with Oasis and you can order from your table. The most recent time we were there it was a taco food truck!

Rohin S.

Yelp
Lived down the street from this brewery and stopped by 3-4 times over a year. I would have stopped by more but the beer selection was somewhat underwhelming most of the time. I did occasionally find seasonal beers that I liked though. Best part about the place was the location and wide space, since its tucked away in the highlands its quieter and suitable for bigger groups (pre-covid).Personally only stopped by because of location and convenience to meet up with friends in the highlands. Also loved that they had foodtrucks all the time. Patio had like 6-8 tables and was pretty spacious and always filled with dogs. Great spot for a chiller afternoon with friends who live locally.

Cynthia H.

Yelp
Nice addition to the Highlands: - Really spacious in a renovated church with a beautiful front right off the main drag - Good variety of standard beers, some seasonal options - 5 decent restaurants that deliver there, cheese plate options, or occasional food trucks - A few screens and a big screen makes it a good place to watch sports - Trivia Thursdays by the end of October - Table or bar service both available Possible drawbacks: - Really loud (as with some breweries around Denver) from all the hard brick and concrete surfaces - Clean and trendy interior, but lacks some soul, maybe just from being so new - Staff was nice, but a bit sparse on a Saturday

Hector B.

Yelp
WOW! I'm so happy it popped up on my cell as a nearby brewery! The service was solid and the lady was funny! Great looking environment! Wonderful beers...I tried a flight and really want to try more! I enjoyed them all and sooo excited to return. I'll write more, but wanted to show love and respect for my first visit! SEE YOU SOON!!!

Victoria M.

Yelp
This place is a solid addition to the highlands community. We were walking around the block and just happen to stumble upon it. They have a spacious front patio and I love that its in an old church. The set up inside is nice, with a very large bar and very large tables. Looks like its good for large parties. They only have a handful of beers but they are good quality beers. I had the sasion and it reminded me of Great Divide Colette beer! They had a food truck outside that would also bring you your food.

Eleni S.

Yelp
Fun vibe but so hard to get a drink. There's one waitress who is very hard to grab to put in an order. Really diminished the experience.

Markita L.

Yelp
This brewery was pretty nice and the beer was good. The employees were extremely nice. I actually sat and had a conversation with one of them for awhile. I wish I remembered her name. I went when it wasn't extremely busy thank goodness. I would recommend people visiting.

Lizzie S.

Yelp
Went to this brewery with a few friends, had a good time! The waiter was overall attentive and recommended at great beer. I had a blueberry beer, super yummy and totally my speed. Paid my tab right away which was nice too.

Ceiteag H.

Yelp
Came in around 7 on a Friday night with a group of 9 and they had a table for us, which was a blessing. We had such great service from our waiter. I got the Peach Cream Ale and tried the seltzer and rotating sour. They were all delicious! Will definitely be coming back.

Janelle S.

Yelp
This place was really nice! We took a seat and were served at a table (which is pretty unique for a brewery). We had tastings of several beers. I liked the red ale (very mild) and the chocolate drop pale ale. I was surprised how light and delicious the chocolate drop was. The flavors from the cacao chips and grated ginger made for a very refreshing beer. Service was good and the ambiance of the place was great. I liked the exposed brick and the tasting room was very spacious. This place was very family friendly. There were probably as many toddlers and babies as there were adults and I'm all for that! I'd definitely come back!

Carlene M.

Yelp
It's a really nice space. It's very big with a second floor so it's great for large groups. Just ok beer.

Tommy T.

Yelp
The building is amazing, I used to live in the area and every time I passed this old church I couldn't help but wonder about the possibilities outside of religious purposes. This was one of the original breweries in Colorado, but win the large decline in the 90s they closed the original location. Now that craft is back and hotter than a cabbage patch doll, Oasis is back. Outside of the awesome digs, they brought back their award winning beers, mostly common styles, reds, ambers, stouts, ipa, wheat . They are all decent, but nothing that wows my palate or that I couldn't get down the road at take your pick brewing company.

Frederic R.

Yelp
Ok this is one of the best location and the taproom is fantastic. It is in an old renovated church and the outside seating is great as well. Staff is attentive and nice. I want to give it a better rating but the beers are not the most fantastic. I know it is very subjective but with so many breweries to choose from and being able to taste so many beers in Denver, I think there are better beers in the breweries in the same area.

Geoff M.

Yelp
The beers are all home runs. I did a tasting paddle/selection and every one of them was amazing. The food options are limited and prepackaged but they had a great food truck out the front (Saturday afternoon) and the staff are really nice and able to handle the rush better than most. Will definitely be back!

Katie H.

Yelp
I love the interior!! The beer isn't really my typical style but this place is close and I definitely dig the atmosphere! Unfortunately on a Friday night the food truck started cleaning up before 8:30 and this place definitely doesn't draw a crowd yet. hopefully they find food trucks and post a bit more about what food trucks are available to draw a larger crowd soon.

Ben W.

Yelp
The space is really cool and in a great location. I like the mobile checkout system, much more convenient then your typical brewery or bar. The beer is just incredibly subpar for Denver especially. I like the oatmeal stout, but the pale ale is incredibly watery and the red and brown ale were just not good. Their offerings were a little dated. Hopefully they get some better beer because the space is very cool.

Brittany C.

Yelp
Awesome local spot! I love the dog friendly patio and the fact that they had options for food delivered from restaurants in the block, as well as a taco shack on site when we visited. Service was friendly. Beers could have been a bit more carbonated for my taste, and the decor - while modern and open - seemed to lack character. Either way I will be back soon and I'm glad to have a nice brewery in my neighborhood!

Ciara M.

Yelp
Didn't love the selection or any of the beers i sampled. Tell inside is more of a restaurant atmosphere than a brewary - more suited for families than younger folks wanting to drink and have a good time

Stacy D.

Yelp
Great beer but the server was super rude. We had the Pub Pass and proceeded to tell us that it was super annoying that we had them because no one ever drinks or tips. I would appreciate service whether I was using the Pub Pass I paid for or not.

Allie B.

Yelp
My sister in law and I came in and loved this place!!!! I think her name was Amy, really helped us out and was so friendly, service was great. I can't wait to come back with my husband and friends!!!!!!!

Meghan T.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this brewery when walking around Highland Square. It's huge, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was very friendly and suggested we sample a new brew they had on tap. Would absolutely come back to try more of their selection. Heads up, the only food item they serve is cheese.

Sixela R.

Yelp
I was visiting last weekend and bought a groupon because I wasn't sure where to go. The bartenders and staff were really nice. It is a large and airy place with a second floor. The pretzels were cheap and huge! They were so delicious and came with mustard. The day we went there was also a food truck outside, not sure if that's always there.

Carrie F.

Yelp
Was thrilled to learn Oasis is having a revival and recently moved into my 'hood. I used to frequent their location in Boulder in the 90's. Stopped by on a recent Sunday evening. Great, comfortable atmosphere with simple and clean decor. Good chill music & several televisions if you're interested in watching sports. Friendly service. Kael (bartender) has been in the biz a long time and is a real pleasure to visit with. They serve only meat and cheese plates for food which I did not sample, and the menu lists at least 5 restaurants next door that will deliver food to you while there. My friend and I brought in Chipotle to munch on while we drank our beer. Oh, and if you like red craft beer, their Scarab red is absolutely to die for! Watch for Groupons... they have one going right now.

Malary J.

Yelp
Great location, beer, and brewery space! Came here opening weekend and was immediately very impressed by the ambiance of this place! I never got to have their beer back when they first started but knowing that their beer was very popular and had won a lot of awards, I was hoping it would be awesome which it was. I had the flight of their 5 core beers which were all very good but the brown ale was the best brown ale I have ever had! I am not a fan of brown ales but you must try it, it won't disappoint! Enjoy this place!

Cody O.

Yelp
If you are an out of state visitor please take my advice and drink a water with every beer. Not only will this beer drink like a smooth summer night it will hit just as hard with the high proof marks. The scotch ale was a personal favorite, so good, well made all around. We ended up getting a growler and the beer kept very nicely over the weekend. Would visit again when back in town!

John L.

Yelp
Great service, great space and certainly a good choice. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is there was no beer that blew me away. It has good potential and I'll certainly go back which maybe will bump it up to 5 stars, but in Denver I need that one or 2 signature beers I would make a point to go back for to give it the 5th star and I just didn't find it at Oasis, yet.

Ajeet J.

Yelp
Always accommodating, beers taste great, and the setup is cool! The saison is done tastefully and one of the better options. Had a group of folks come after work for happy hour, they were more than happy to facilitate ahead of time and they do allow you to bring your own food. Happy to have this place in our neighborhood!

Andrew O.

Yelp
I had originally tried the Red Ale on tap at The Matador, and love it. I stopped in to try a flight, and they have 5 solid cornerstone beers. The bartenders are very friendly, and happy to share their story. Stop in!

Matt W.

Yelp
One of my favorite breweries in town. They renovated the old Beth Eden Baptist Church and turned it into an incredible gathering spot with great beers to match. Highly recommend the ESB and the Stoudt. Their IPA is also very good.

Steve M.

Yelp
I was a fan of the original Oasis in Boulder when it was open for business for 1992 to 2002. For many months as they were doing the build out, I wrung my hands in eager anticipation for the day they finally opened. ...In my own neighborhood even! Since then, I have been a regular there, as the staff and owners are outstanding, and the beers are exactly as I remember and loved. Plus, they're offering up new beers that were not on the taps at the original brewery. So do yourself a favor, go to Oasis, enjoy some beers, the great staff, and the remarkable atmosphere.

Sara H.

Yelp
In from Chicago, love craft beer. This place has good stuff and the atmosphere is mellow. Their seasonal 'chocolate drops' pale ale is outstanding, as is the 'Beyond the Pale' hazy pale ale. I also had the saison and it was very nice. Good service from the bartender, high end industrial decor, lots of seating. Family friendly. Wish we could come back!

Carissa E.

Yelp
Worst service ever!!! Ashley was horrible attitude for the 3 hours we were there. Complained about Groupon deal and tips people are leaving. We ordered more than just beer. Her attitude was horrible. If you want to make money in the serving industry try being friendly and happy. Don't waste your time or money. Thumbs down!!!

Cory W.

Yelp
Brought the wife here to begin our night. Had a groupon i ran across. Easiest groupon ever, i usually use them on a first visit to a brewery just in case it's not one I'd go back to. I have had actual complaints from breweries about using their own groupon! Not here, he was super nice about it and quite frankly gave really good service. I certainly understand it could be frustrating if people constantly use those over and over, and on top of it most people don't tip on the cost of the groupon. So people... tip on the cost of the groupon! Seriously! It's not hard! Don't be cheap! Ok, ok... back to beer! Enjoyed every brew i tried, a great atmosphere some really tasty beer! I'll be back, even though im not close, and without a groupon!
