Go in and say "Hello" to Chester, the owner of Oasis. Very, very casual and felt welcome immediately. Good people, good laughs, great food. It is like eating at Grandma's house. Real home style food that's reasonable and delicious. Nothing fancy, but fancy isn't necessary when you feel like you're entering someone's home.

Absolutely delicious, we keep coming back to try more of the dishes. Each one we’ve tried has been so good, my husband can’t stop talking about it for weeks after! Thanks for making us such fresh delicious food.

Checked out OASIS today and learned the owner is from Barbados so I got the oxtail and the turkey over pasta and wolfed it down at the park...it was still pipping hot! Great packaging to go. Got the cinnabun...with coconut, I taste? Glad I came in.

Some of the best food I've had in my entire life. It was strange at first because no one was up front (remember to ring the bell by the register) and I'm not used to places with no written menu, but the staff was nice and kind, and the food made me feel like I was right at home. Highly recommend.

I am of Bajan decent. Today I experienced the goat and Coucou (sp?). It was so good that I found myself swaying and humming. I almost expected my Bajan grandmother to enter the room and join me. The food was so tasty, comforting and just spicy enough. I also had the opportunity to meet Chester, the owner and Chef. In speaking with him, it is clear to note that he is committed to his community. While recognizing some of the problems, he comes forward offering solutions! I wish the best to this establishment and its patient staff as I will return. Q.M. Zakiya

Great experience at a event for a family. Chester, the owner, did from soup to nuts. Decorating was on point very festive but so tasteful, getting the DJ Larry who was awesome, and providing the meal. The staff was very engaging without being intrusive and pleasant. The food was so good and plentiful. No one left empty handed unless they wanted to. The only downside was the parking and everyone found parking even if it was a little walk to the venue. This place is a must for good vibes and great food.

The Owner was super nice, friendly and engaging. We attended a private party there, the food and music were excellent. Some of the staff didn't seem to want to serve us so we had to keep asking my Friend who booked (and paid for the party!) as well as the owner who was probably exhausted from all his hard work. Ooh and the Mauby (probably wrong spelling) was superb! All in all restaurant has a great vibe! We will return

This was my first time there, and I was greeted by one of the owners of the place, who suggested that I get a sampler (some of everything on offer) to which I gladly obliged. Very warm, friendly people, family-owned vibes which I love. The food nailed it on the head too - and I know I tried an array of things including the Curry Chicken, Ribs, Braised Beef and the Jerk Chicken. Apparently they are planning to host music on Thursday evenings... I'm gonna have to return for another round of food - and would need no convincing 😎.

Yelp
My husband and I were really craving some good Carribbean food. We usually try to pick somewhere different every time we order since there's a couple Carribbean food places in the Dorchester area to choose from. We found Oasis Restaurant on GrubHub because they had a $10 off our order deal going on. We ended up ordering the oxtail meal, the curry goat meal, and two beef patties. The beef patties were solid. You really can't go wrong with beef patties. Both dishes came with a side of rice and beans and what I think is batata. If you've never had batata before it's like a mix between yuca and sweet potato. Very tasty! I wish it came with a cabbage salad in the meal too just to make it less heavy, but that wasn't a big issue. I'll ask for it next time. The curry goat was my personal favorite. The curry gave a nice depth of flavor to the meat and was mildly spicy. I also enjoyed that the goat didn't have a strong goat flavor. I can tell it was prepared and cooked well. The oxtail had a nice flavor as well and was subtly sweet. Its the type of sauce that makes you suck on the bones. Also, if you're not into that much spicy food than these dishes would be perfect for you. The goat curry has a small kick, but no where near as spicy as jerk chicken. I liked that the owner reached out to me close to delivery time to let me know the delivery might take a bit longer before GrubHub even adjusted the drop off time. He wanted to assure me my delivery was still on it's way. The customer service at this place was great! The portions were large and my husband and I had this meal for dinner two nights in a row so we got our money's worth. Go check them out.

Yelp
Amazing. Oasis truly is an oasis of delicious food and incredible hospitality. Due to yesterday's impending snow storm the restaurant was closed BUT Chester, the owner, contacted me and asked if we would like to keep our lunch reservation and he would prepare a complementary meal for us to enjoy in the closed restaurant. Only a special person would go to such great lengths to ensure we enjoyed a fabulous meal. The six different dishes were all excellent. Will definitely return with many friends. Thank you.

Yelp
Just got my first order. The Patty is pretty good so far. Thought the Sorrel was going to be homemade.

Yelp
Great food. Friendly owner. Peaceful setting with big booths to sit and enjoy delicious fresh food. I had the vegetarian plate and it was delicious.

Yelp
My wife and I usually travel all the way from Sutton, MA to experience this wonderful delicious authentic Bajan food from Chester and staff. We only wish he opens up a satellite site in the Worcester area!! Best, Cecil and Claudette
