Oasis Garden

This restaurant was recommended by a fellow traveller and we decided to try it. Good food and good ambiance. I just wish they have more staff who can speak english well. As tourists, we would like to try local dish and we need some explanation about the menu.

Sabohat was a wonderful waitress – she understood exactly what we wanted and helped us choose excellent dishes for our meal. The food was delicious, and we ate more than usual. The price for the meal was very reasonable. Thank you!

We had full day in Samarkand and at the end of the day decided to visit Oasis Garden restaurant. The location is right in the center. The restaurant interior was nice, with unusual human paintings on the ceiling. There were few people inside, but later more people arrive. We were rather full, so we ordered 3cakes, juice, tea, 2 glass of local beer and chicken noodle soup. The local Tuborg beer was good, I liked it. The desserts were delicious too, my colleague said. The service was good, the waitress was quite fast and efficient. The WC is good, but not in an excellent condition. Overall, good place if you look for a quite peaceful atmosphere.

The food overall is fine, the paper menu is always “outdated” so just try to ask for something simple. No one understand you doesn’t matter if they speak english so just say “1” and point the dish.

Food was really good, the steaks were cooked well and very tender. The service could have been a little better and for some reason we had 3 different wine glasses. Overall very nice place, obviously it is quite pricey but worth it for sure in my mind.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, but a bit dark inside and expensive! After all, its a great European restaurant for Uzbekistan. The garden is refreshing, cool and different from other typical restaurants in this area!

Great food & really good service. We sat out in the garden, it was a lovely day. We had a selection of salads & shashliks & breads. All were delicious. One of the best meals we had in Uzbekistan. There are stray cats in the garden, though, that do pester you a bit for food, which was a bit annoying. So perhaps better indoors. Highly recommended.

We were a group of 7 travellers with a booking at this restaurant on arrival we were seated immediately in a beautiful outdoor garden setting. Sabohat our waitress was very fluent in English and assisted with menu choices not all wines on the menu were available but the one we had was perfect. The menu was extensive all dishes we had were delicious especially the steaks, all cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this restaurant, for the food and atmosphere
