Oatmeals from West Village Scores ‘Shark Tank’ Money From Lori Greiner - Eater NY

"Small West Village oatmeal shop Oatmeals went on investment show phenom Shark Tank last night and came out richer. Owner Sam Stephens scored $500,000 in exchange for 33.3 percent of her company to Lori Greiner. The deal is contingent upon Oatmeals getting a deal with Starbucks and perhaps made into frozen food. The other sharks reportedly didn’t think this was a good deal, but Stephens went for it." - Stefanie Tuder

Saw this place on Facebook and as an oatmeal lover I knew I needed to try it. I really enjoyed my meal and will definitely be coming back to try more! Can’t remember the exact names of the bowls we ordered, but both were SO delicious. Others have mentioned the food was a bit pricey, but I felt it was standard for the area/being a specialty shop. Tons of variety and vegan-friendly! My only issue is that everything was served in single use containers. Maybe they don’t have the capacity to wash dishes (couldn’t see much behind the counter), but I wish I could eat here without generating so much waste.

I had a lovely serving of oats today from Oatmeal’s on West 3rd street. I had the Physic57 which was lovely! It had banana, date, honey cashews and a bit of cinnamon. The store has a very cute fit out as well and is a nice place to relax. I’ll be back again soon for sure

Talk about a fantastic little specialy restaurant. If you like oatmeal, this place does it right. This little hidden gem was featured on Sharktank, and let me tell you for a unique, quick breakfast bite, this place hits the spot. Whether your an oatmeal traditionalist or your a more daring adventurer, their menu has something for you. Personally I thought I was more of a plain oatmeal and fruit kind of person, but I kept an open mind and allowed their menu to inspire me to try something out of the box, and I was not disappointed. The staff was very kind and helpful, willing to make recommendations of their most popular options. I had the Elvis, the oats were perfectly cooked, the peanut butter was creamy, the bananas were fresh, and the bacon was crispy. One bite in and you could tell that they use quality ingredients. My wife had the S'mores, and it too was well prepared. The graham crackers were still crisp, and it had a perfect ratio of chocolate, marshmallow, and graham crackers. The seatings is very limited, and during the breakfast rush expect a little bit of a wait. The orders are each made fresh and do take some time to come out, but it is reasonable, and definitely worth the wait!

Who doesn’t love a good bowl of oatmeal? This place has it all when it comes to toppings and some creative specialties. Whether you want to indulge with bacon or sugary toppings or you’re trying be healthy with fresh ingredients, you’ll find something. Be willing to pay up though; $6-9 for a cup oatmeal will run you more than a whole box to make your own. Worth it to treat yourself here once in a while.

Amazing quick breakfast place just in Greenwich village. Their variety of combinations and custom creations makes this place really special! The space inside is not too large, but I would recommend taking it to Washington sq park and enjoying it there.

Really tasty and filling. Came out in a couple of mins within ordering. Nice cosy little place with some (albeit limited seating).

Charming little hole in the wall serving up a variety of oatmeal. Maybe 15 different menu options, including various fruit/nut and sweet and savory flavor combinations along with all the different types of milk you could want (almond/coconut...). $7 will get you a satisfying serving and a cup of coffee.
