Google
An incredible spot. The owners are very kind and truly put love and care into every pastry. I had the knafeh or Kunafa which was made fresh to order. It is one of the best I have had in the US. I also got the Sutlac or rice pudding which was fantastic and tasted just like Türkiye 🇹🇷. While making the Kade they gave me some tea and a baklava to try. Both were fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough

Google
Freshest baklava I’ve ever had in MA. No more having to go to NYC for fresh Turkish pastries. It’s super clean and no frills. So glad this place is here. Can’t wait to try more!!

Google
I wish I could give this place a 100/5 because I’m sure it has the best baklava in the state! If you want something truly fresh with a perfectly balanced flavor and a super crunchy top, this is the place to go. Each piece is bite-sized, so you can easily try all the flavors they offer. My favorites were the original square baklava and the chocolate one. The staff were also so patient, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. They even shared tips on how to store the baklava to keep it fresh. Overall, it was an amazing experience from start to finish.

This is a wonderful little Turkish bakery near the Herb Chambers Toyota dealership. It’s bright and clean and offers delicious fresh savory and sweet treats. Plus the pistachios come from Gaziantep! The owner is friendly and offered me tea. A little slice of Turkey in Brighton, with some seating that beats the service lounge at Herb Chambers.

This guy is awesome!! Tremendous bakery that makes me feel like I am back in the Mediterranean. Great food - specifically I tried the filo with spinach and feta, the roll with beef, and a roll with mozzarella - they were all WICKED good. The gentleman who owns the business is super nice. He gave me a cookie to enjoy with my Turkish coffee. Great prices too. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone in the area!!

Google
Super friendly people making delicious breads and desserts. I tried many cookies - flour cookies, lemon filled, date filled, chocolate cookies, bitter cookies - all fresh and delicious. Their borek is amazing, flaky and full of potato - heat it up! Will be back again to try the baklava.

Google
JAW DROPINGLY DELICIOUS BAKLAVA!! I was truly speechless when given a sample. It is clear that these treats are handmade, authentic, full of high quality ingredients (from Turkey), and fresh. Tahfun (the man serving working the register) was incredibly hospitable and took the time to explain the different confections to us. He even offered us complimentary tea to go with our treats! Next time I need a special dessert or gift, I know where to come!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! The mixed box of baklava was fresh, perfectly flaky, and had just the right amount of sweetness. Each piece had its own unique flavor and texture--pistachio, walnut, and hazelnut varieties were all amazing. A must-try treat that feels like a little taste of tradition in every bite! P.s. the customer service was top tier. They explained everything to me with such patience and j can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Their pistachio baklava was crispy at the top but sweet and dense at the bottom. It wasn't the best I had but still really good! The worker there was so nice and we wanted to just try a bit there and gave us it in a plate and toothpick. There wasn't any seating which makes sense since they are mostly to go. Cute small shop.

Yelp
Growing up there was a Turkish cafe we used to go to, to get baklava and chocolate mousse cups. So when I saw these, I had to give it a try! 10/10! It is rare to find Turkish spots that have authentic menus in the Boston area. This one is a hit! Tad bit pricey , but I'll take it!

Yelp
Got 2 Too Good to Go bags from here They gave a ton of items with lots of variety in each bag which was nice. It was nice to be able to try such a variety of the baked goods. That being said I wasn't a huge fan of any of them. They were all good but not great. My favorite was the circular seeded dough. If I go back I'd love to try the sweet treats though. They look so good!

Yelp
I checked out this Turkish bakery that opened a few months ago on a Saturday morning. The pastries weren't labeled, but the worker did a great job explaining what each one was. I asked him for his recommendation and he let me sample the spinach and feta cheese flaky pastry called borek. It was really good, but I decided to get the Turkish croissant with mozzarella cheese. I got it warned up and it was a great breakfast item. It was a soft bread and the mozzarella cheese was baked into the croissant. I'd definitely recommend trying them out and will hopefully be back soon to try out other items!

Yelp
This place is a gem! Amazing service, the people are so kind and give great recommendations. Limited seating, so definitely more of a grab-and-go spot. Buns/croissants are very reasonably priced, and a great hot breakfast option when running to work or class. I love the olive croissant. For sweets, I love the izmir bomba. Rich, ooey gooey, truffle like, chocolatey inside with a crispy sugar outside. Not for the faint of heart, but I looooove chocolate and was pleasantly surprised. The Boston bomba is a tahini version that's more firm, which is also amazing. We also love the kunafa, crispy buttery phyllo dough stuffed with cheese and a sweet syrup. It takes 15 minutes to make as they make it fresh for you, but it is definitely worth the wait. You can also get it with ice cream. Similar is the kataifi, which is muchhh sweeter and with pistachio, and with no wait. So many good options, and the staff are very polite. Can't recommend enough.

Yelp
Baklava is SO good here and the people working there are so kind. 10/10 recommend especially the cold baklava!

Yelp
Remarkable bakery... Perhaps the best baklava I have ever eaten. Not for the faint of heart or those with cardiac concerns, but some of the most wonderful, buttery baklava I have ever eaten. moist juicy, almost dripping with flavor. The only caveat is this price, but for haut patisserie, the pricing is reasonable.

Yelp
A friend introduced me to this place last weekend- it's phenomenal! Many different varieties of baklava, Turkish ice cream, eclairs, savory baked goods and sweets. Very fresh and reasonably priced- I love this place! Highly recommended.

Yelp
New middle eastern dessert just opened in Allston and it was so good!! Owner was really nice and welcoming. We got the pistachio baklava and it was still hot. Really delicious :)

Eleanor W.

Yelp
Delicious foods with wide variety. Their baklava uses Turkish pistachios that are delicious (and different from other stores that use California pistachios!). Staff are really friendly and hard-working, rightfully proud of their products.

Yelp
Cute little bakery with sweet and savory options! Our pastry was great (something filled with chocolate, can't remember the exact name). The service was fantastic, would highly recommend!

Yelp
I came to this place 2 weeks ago. I usually go to turco market its also turkish and they recommneded. I bought Turkish bagels , deserts , everything was delicious and made it proffesionally. I am also from Turkey and this place reminds my country.

Yelp
This is the best Baklava I have ever eaten--made fresh daily, in a variety of shapes with various nuts, all perfectly moist with layers of flakey pastry. The owners and staff were incredibly genuine, and the passion they have for their craft is inspiring. I am so glad we stumbled upon this shop, and I highly recommend Oba Bakery to anyone looking to enjoy a decadent dessert and experience Turkey's rich culture.
