On the expensive side, even for happy hour, but mostly worth it. Food is delicious and consistent and based on South American fusion with fish, steak, and seasonal vegetables. The only knock here is a stagnant menu (it has been mostly the same for years) all of the dishes are perfectly cooked and combine great flavors. Try the coconut prawns for an appetizer, they are a favorite, and the prime rib is to die for (all of the steak options are phenomenal). The drinks are tasty and unique, pitchers of margaritas or mojitos flavored with prickly pear or guava are popular in the bar area. The staff are friendly but the atmosphere can be noisy if you aren't at the right table. Tip: make a reservation and ask for a booth, it is worth the wait. A must try restaurant in Portland.
