Extraordinary panoramic view of London complemented with good quality food. We ordered from the Bottomless brunch menu and Sunday roast menu - the starters were phenomenal and I’d highly recommend the buttermilk chicken and Burrata (and you can ask as much as you want!) and the truffle pasta for main. It wasn’t clear on the menu/booking which bit was bottomless but it was the starters. The dessert was a masterpiece and the highlight of the course - it was rich and meticulously hand-crafted. We devoured every single one of them! The downside was the service - our waiter was very slow and forgot a lot of our extra orders, we ended up asking 3-4x just to get our hot drinks/water/lemon, etc and we even asked another waiter because he just kept forgetting about it. I’d like to think that he had a stressful shift and from observing the rest of the team, I don’t think this reflects the service of the restaurant as a whole. Thankfully we didn’t get kicked out after 2hrs which was the time limit on the booking (we spent around 3.5hrs). Nevertheless, all the waiters remained friendly and approachable until we left. Overall good value for money. I’d come back for bottomless brunch and make sure that I don’t eat before coming here! Nothing too special with the Sunday Roast so better to have it somewhere else 😊

Went to Oblix at 2pm on a Sunday for a roast. Security for the shard was quick, and we were directed to the very fast lift. We paid £20 to guarantee a window seat, which was worth doing as some of the tables are a little further away. Great views, almost 270 degrees to the best side of London. The food was great (maybe a little too fancy for my liking but that’s the point). They brought out all 4 starters available, which was a nice surprise. Quickly followed by the main and a selection of desserts. Service was quick and friendly, walking us through the menu at the start. It is expensive, as expected. But worth a visit atleast once for the views and atmosphere.

We have a birthday party for 7 people, The atmosphere of the restaurant was special and the service was great. the manager Mr Man offer us a large plate of sweet and sour chicken for free which tasted very good. Since the cake was arranged incorrectly, he also offer us a glass of champagne for everyone at the end. This dining experience was so great and I gave the manager a five-star rating.

Alissa N.

Google
10/10. I went to this restaurant twice and every time I was amazed. The atmosphere is welcoming yet elegant, low lights to feel more intimate and to fully enjoy the view on the whole London. The food was delicious and even aesthetically pleasant. We got both times a starter, two mains, different sides and a dessert (following the menu) until we couldn’t breathe and it was all worthy to be considered high cuisine. We didn’t even pay much at all considering how much we ate, how good, where we were (very centre of London on the Shard!!!), how well we were treated by our waiter, and how mesmerising were both the view and the atmosphere. We got lucky that once we also witnessed to live jazz music which added more romanticism. Highly recommended to anyone if you want a romantic date with your partner (we even witnessed to a proposal!). Booking required and decent/elegant dress code.

Google
The beverages and food were excellent! The service is prompt and effective. Although we were a little late for our reservation, we would especially like to thank Dora, the manager, for securing us a window seat. The restaurant has a better view than most other locations. During the summer, we were fortunate to be seated by the window, and the sunset we saw was among the nicest.

Alevtina D.

Google
The pasta was terrible, and even though most of it was left on the plate, the waiter didn’t bother to ask if everything was okay when taking it away. Everything else was more or less fine, and the chocolate fountain and tuna tartare were tasty. The view from the window is nice, but only if you’re seated at the far end of the restaurant. What was really annoying, though, is that they reminded us at least five times that we only had two hours at the table)

Google
Getting a positive review is probably a common thing for Oblix, but for us, this visit truly stood out as one of their best. I’m actually writing this review while still sitting in the restaurant, after enjoying a fantabulous meal and absolutely wonderful service. Katerina took amazing care of us throughout the evening, and the wine expert, Mr. Kostas, was like a genie who is appearing just when our glasses needed a refill. His timing and charm added so much to the experience. It felt like we received royal treatment at Oblix. Would I come back? Heck YES, While there’s always room for small improvements, overall it was a fantastic, marvelous, and unforgettable experience.

Yelp
Came here for an early Christmas dinner and were seated immediately after checking in our bags. The staff was very friendly was helpful with giving us insight into the menu. We all got the set menu, sides, and a bottle of red and white. 4/5 Beet salad - excellent 4/5 Beef cheek - excellent 4/5 custard - excellent The portions were small but I was full. Very tasty set menu and would recommend. They had just put up their Christmas tree and it was very nicely decorated with a Peter Pan theme (flapping wings).

Yelp
I had an amazing vegetarian dish! Side dishes that did not disappoint your tastebuds. Food pórtions were perfect. I was too excited about devouring my dinner that I fáiled to take images. It had an open kitchen concept! Service was fantastic. Ended the night with the most amazing sundae (on the house). They served it to me in the lounge after dinner. And the views of London in the evening were beautiful.

Yelp
What a breathtaking Afternoon Tea Experience at Oblix in the Shard. When you arrive at the building, you need to go through a security screening. After that you proceed to the 2 banks of elevator. The elevator only takes you to one floor, the 32nd. When you arrive you are instantly mesmerized by the beautiful views all around. Do yourself a favor and don't pay the extra 20 pounds a person to be seated by the window. You can take pictures later by the window and around the grounds when you're there. The food and teas were amazing. They offered a delectable assortment of teas to choose from. The sandwiches are savory and perfectly cut and plated. Every bite a perfect balance of flavors and textures. A big shoutout to the cranberry scones as they were out of this world delicious! Pair that with the clotted cream and perseveres and you're literally in dessert heaven. Every sandwich and dessert had it's own signature flavor profile as nothing tastes the same from each other, Bravo my friends! The service was attentive without being too obtrusive. Oblix has mastered the art of creating unforgettable memories through food, ambiance, and hospitality. This is a complete sensory experience that showcases the beauty of London from every angle. I cannot recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning one day to create more magical memories high above the city.

Yelp
What a great experience. The staff was super attentive, friendly, and didn't rush a moment of this experience. Got a beautiful window front view of the city. Food was great, all cooked perfectly to order. Highly recommend this experience for a nice dinner out!

Yelp
We had a stellar dinner here in our recent trip to London. Our server was "Man" as in Super Man as he introduced himself. We were seated at a cost table in the corner overlooking the city. The restaurant sits 30+ floors over the city and the views are stunning. We tried foods from across the menu and everything was a hit. Cocktails and wine recommendations from the sommelier were great too. We would highly recommend this spot for anyone celebrating a special occasion. Make sure you get a table on the "glass for the best views!

Yelp
There are two side to this restaurant. The East side for drinks and small bites and the West side for full restaurant. We came for dinner but started with drinks first as our table was not ready. The view of London is amazing on either side. Our window table was booked a month in advance and there's a £20 guarantee fee added. We did the tasting menu for £98 per person. Come hungry for this. I suppose my expectation was a little too high as I think it is not worth the money we paid for the food. It was ok. The wait staff is also ok. If you want to see London at night, and don't care much about dining. The east side is good enough!

Joanne M.

Yelp
We were fortunate enough to schedule our dinner on a chef's tasting night. I put that meal as one of the 10 best in my life. Every item was perfectly spiced, and the textures were perfect, even for my picky husband. The view was fabulous, cocktails were delicious, and it was a perfect evening.

Robert P.

Yelp
We went for drinks and dinner at Oblix, which is on of our favorite spots in London from when we lived here. The view is incredible and we went at sundown so we saw the day time and evening skyline. The cocktails were very well done and the food was outstanding. While not cheap, this falls in the category of you get what you pay for.

Yelp
HIGHLIGHTS? The green beans & Parmesan / truffle fries. Wagyu burger. German waitress was lovely. Steak. Elevator. LowLIGHTS? Food & cocktails are average.. Lobster was lacking flavour and rubbery. Dessert selection was super boring -- especially for London. Apart from the German waitress -- terrible. Not even salt and pepper / napkins on our table. WARNING -- not all "window" seats are windows (& we got put in a rubbish corner). Pre-booked window seat and put in corner without a view. Talked to waiter who told me he was too busy to check my reservation. Mentioned it to host who said that technically I had a window even if it just looked over another restaurant. Manager said "she would try" and then never came back. Zero interest. Obviously recurring scam. Ruined the experience of the sunset I had planned for my family and booked 1 month in advance. Super frustrating as they didn't care.

Yelp
Service is terrible as they race you through your 2hr window to sit, eat and leave. The Assistant Manager actually took my credit card from the table without my permission and wanted to charge the card on the hand held terminal. We are in London monthly and my wife and I will NEVER go to Oblix again. There are way better choices in London. Scott's in Mayfair as an example. Save your time and money this is a Tourist Trap.

Yelp
Might be the best meal I've ever had. Make a reservation for Oblix West and pay the extra to secure a window table. The views of London won't disappoint from up here. The service was impeccable, friendly, and not stuffy. My husband and I both ordered the signature peppercorn steak. It cut like butter and was cooked perfectly. Wine list is comprehensive with a knowledgeable sommelier. We ordered Slingshot, a reasonably priced red, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. For sides, my husband ordered fries and I ordered the tomato and olive salad. We declined dessert but they brought out a dish for our anniversary. It was delicious and a nice touch. I think the ice cream and pastry were homemade. After dinner we chose to enjoy an after dinner drink, and the hostess walked us to Oblix East and sat us in there with a view of the east side of the city and live music. The whole evening, both East and West, was perfect. We can't wait to return.

Yelp
Stopped for a quick couple days in London on our way to Ireland and made reservations for Oblix East. We knew it was a tasting menu but thought we'd only get to choose one item from each of the three courses, but no...you get all the things on the menu! There were 5 items in the first course, 4 items in the second course, and a huge plate of desserts for the last course. We felt like this was an incredible value for the £65/pp we paid. We added the the wine pairing on for an additional £32 each, which we also thought was a steal for 3 glasses of wine (although we didn't love the last wine offering.) All of the food was really, really good, but the buttermilk chicken in the first course was exceptionally good. Every dish had so much flavor and texture, and we were wowwed with every bite. Going in, we thought we'd probably leave hungry but we actually couldn't finish the entire meal! The restaurant is lovely inside and the booths have comfy loveseats instead of chairs. The views are amazing, obviously. It was a rainy evening but we enjoyed watching the Tower Bridge light up as it got dark. You are basically right above the London Bridge tube station and it was even fun watching the trains come and go. Georgia (our server) and Maxim (the sommelier) took excellent care of us. AND the Pink Cadillac is absolutely one of the best cocktails I've ever had.

Yelp
We dined at Oblix for my girlfriend's birthday last week and everyone was amazing!!! I had forgotten to include that we were dining for a birthday in my notes however the staff were so nice and accommodating & even brought out a dessert with a candle to make the even more special. Ok, so the meal was immaculate. We ordered crab cakes and calamari to start. The drinks were also great. The pork chops were tender and well seasoned (they come with a bbq glaze). The dessert took me by surprise because it was so big. I ordered a brownie sundae & it was massive. Overall, the food was amazing and the view was unmatched. Perfect for a romantic date night or special occasion!

Yelp
Wagyu burger with fries 6.71/10- the meat was juicy and the cheese was melted perfectly however it was honestly a bit dry and I found the bread to be overwhelming. The fries were okay, needed a bit of seasoning Calamari 3.69/10- honestly disappointing, bit too over fried but I like the jalapeño however a bit disappointed I thought there would be more flavor. The lime was necessary to be squeezed on top Truffle fries 6.41/10- the truffle was good however they were a bit too thick cut for my liking. The shredded Parmesan was a great touch. White wine 4.32/10- light and tasted good at first but the after taste creeped up on you and was overbearing and "obnoxious" Truffle flatbread -2/10- literally so small, was not really flatbread, didn't really have sauce so it was dry. The truffle pieces were big though. The flatbread also had pancetta (ham) on it and when asked to substitute or remove the ham the server ridiculed and insisted on keeping it though the customer stated that she doesn't eat red meat.. which was quite rude Pasta 5/10- It was so plain, there was literally no flavor or spice however it was still your classic red sauce penne pasta so it was still bearable Dessert platter 2.47/10- for having 4 desserts on here this was incredibly disappointing. Everything was just terrible. The icecream flavors tasted so artificial and consistency sucked. The cheesecake flavor was bland and sour, the crust was also not good. The chocolate hazelnut pie was just okay- mid at best Honestly the food and service at Oblix the Shard was incredibly disappointing. Considering the Shard is the tallest building in the United Kingdom and Oblix is pricey, the only thing about good about this restaurant was the view. The servers were rude and it took roughly 2 hours for us to even get our food. The food in question was terrible quality and ridiculously priced for no reason other than tourism. Great view tho.

Yelp
Made a reservation for a window table but was late and lost our table. However they were able to find us some seats at the high table next to the window. Waitress is very nice and pretty busy, so not as attentive. Food is amazing! Absolutely love the lobster and crab spaghetti, and the creamy green beans. The crab cake is only okay, nothing too special. View was not as nice since it's a rainy day but overall a great experience and would def come back in the future. (Restaurant is right attached to the London Bridge underground station and super convenient)

Yelp
We went to the shard on holiday with the family We were blown away with the food. Steaks cooked perfectly. Pasta done professionally. Service was outstanding. The views and setting are simply amazing. Well done folks well done.

Yelp
From the moment we walked in the service, ambiance and food was outstanding. I would highly recommend it.

Yelp
Very excited about finally making it to Oblix At The Shard. Not that hard to get a reservation! Be prepared. Entrance requires a pretty strict security check, quite similar to TSA at airports. Elevators take you up to the restaurant, floor 32, in about 15 seconds (eat pops!). Oblix has a very fancy, must seen, bougie feel to it! When you're entering to dining room, you walk past the kitchen area. You see all the delicious food, and the cooks bustling around preparing the gourmet selections. We were here for brunch (birthday treat from my sister and husband). The have an al La carte option, and two pre-fix options: Rose Brunch at £89, and a Champagne Brunch at £115. Both options come with a choice of sides, main dish, dessert, wines or cocktail. The difference between the two options is the £115 has champagne as your beverage choice. I think the £89 was a great choice, since I was mostly interested in the food. With each option, your wines are bottomless!! Pace yourself! Lol As you would expect, the plates were served and presented with gourmet style. The servers and support staff were very professional and friendly. We ordered the burrata, , jumbo prawn cocktail, diver scallops, crab cake, as our starters. My favourite was the Jumbo prawn cocktail. The gem lettuce and spicy cocktail sauce were amazing! The diver scallops were also great. I enjoyed the truffle sauce with this dish. Our mains: Line caught sea bass, black cod and the wagyu burger. I loved the wagyu burger. It is served well done on a soft brioche 86 and truffle fries. The dessert tray consisted of French macarons, cheese cake, and some delicious chocolate dish. Nice touch from our server, Saul, to add "happy birthday" to the plate. I would be remiss to not mention the main attraction here. The spectacular views of London! Totally breathtaking and like no other view of London you'll experience. I would've love to had a table next to the window! Overall this 5 star, upscale and fancy restaurant was enjoyable and worth the experience. I would recommend coming here for a very special occasion. I'm sure dining here for dinner is comparably just a lovely. You can't beat nighttime city views! I will certainly make Oblix a stop on my visits to London.

Yelp
Happened to pass through London on a Sunday, and decided to try the famous Oblix at the shard. Amazing food and unrivaled view, no more words needed.

Yelp
Booked for 5pm, definitely not busy at this time and the views were amazing I would love to come back just to see if I can catch the sunset and the night views! Very elegant and elevated Coctails! We got two drinks one was the pina colada white chocolate that came in a Dino egg! Perched on a birds nest so much fun! And the other was the kiss the rainbow martini both were delicious and and well balanced. The views themselves were well worth the visit.

Yelp
The Shard is that big pointy shiny building in London that has a bunch of fancy restaurants/bars at the top and Oblix is one of them. I'll admit, Oblix was not recommended to me by my British coworkers at the time since they said it was only a tourist trap but true to form I went solo anyway and sat at the bar. Whatever, call me a tourist, but I am so glad I didn't listen to them! Why? Reasons: 1. Amazing live vocalist singing 2. Amazing unobstructed views 3. Amazing cocktails... although they were 16 pounds a pop (god that's like $25 american AGH) *starts hyperventaling into a paper brown bag* One of my personal favorites was watching the cute bartenders chiseling at a giant block of ice, muscles contracting back and forth.... niiiiiiice. DEFINITELY get the Lobster/Scallop ceviche if you are a fan of lobster, scallops or ceviche... it was 21 pounds (OMG SO MUCH $$$ WHEN YOU CONVERT) but it was so good I'm willing to overlook it. Just be a tourist and enjoy yourself, there are way worse things in this world to be accused of.

Yelp
I am deeply disappointed with my experience at Oblix at The Shard on July 23, 2024. My party and I were denied entry upon arrival due to my attire, specifically my pants and shoes. This was puzzling as I had dined at the same restaurant the night before, wearing the same attire without any issue. I requested that the host provide the dress code in writing, but he could not produce any official documentation. He was unable to find relevant information on the Oblix website and instead used his phone to show me a Google search page summarizing a blog entry from "Great British Chefs." He claimed that the Oblix website details a dress code when making a reservation, but since my reservation was made through my hotel's concierge, who did not mention any dress code issues, this argument was irrelevant. Furthermore, the host refused to provide his name. Upon arriving back at my hotel, I attempted to find the dress code on the Oblix website myself but there was no relevant information available. After hearing my conversation with the host, a staff member who had been working the previous day approached me. He acknowledged that he had seen me enter the previous evening without issue. However, he indicated that he was not in a position to speak up. When I engaged in conversation with this staff member and referred to him as a colleague of the host, the host was visibly unhappy. He interrupted me, stating that he was the host and had all the authority to make decisions, so I should not be speaking to a different staff member. The host's demeanor was notably hostile and condescending, prompting me to request a meeting with the manager. Unfortunately, Assistant Manager Matt Roscoe's response was similarly rude and condescending. He indicated that he only had an issue with my shoes, further highlighting the inconsistency in the enforcement of the dress code. When I pointed out that my attire had not been a problem the night before, Mr. Roscoe attributed the discrepancy to the junior status of the previous evening's staff. However, the junior status of the staff is not relevant to the enforcement of the dress code. The responsibility for training staff on your restaurant's guidelines does not fall on me. l acted in accordance with the guidance I received from my prior visit and the hotel concierge. Mr. Roscoe also suggested that the time of day might have affected the dress code enforcement, which I corrected since I had also visited at dinner time the previous day. Furthermore, when I requested the host's name, Mr. Roscoe refused to provide it, which only added to my concerns about the transparency and professionalism of the staff. The conflicting explanations from the host and the assistant manager, and the lack of clear dress code guidelines, left my party and me feeling unfairly treated. This feeling of mistreatment was further amplified by the rude and condescending manner in which both the host and the assistant manager addressed us. Such unacceptable and unprofessional conduct from the staff is not what I expected from a restaurant of this caliber. I urge Oblix to implement comprehensive staff training to address the evident inconsistencies in dress code enforcement and to ensure that all guests receive consistent and respectful treatment. At the time of uploading this review, I have already contacted Oblix regarding this incident and have heard back from Managing Director Judith Biel. My party and I were offered a complimentary bottle of champagne as a token of apology, but I declined because we are not comfortable returning to Oblix after our negative experience, which left us with a deeply negative impression of the restaurant's service. I requested Ms. Biel to keep me updated on the internal review on the host and Assistant Manager Matt Roscoe, but unfortunately my request was declined. I believe both the host and the assistant manager should be held accountable for their behavior to prevent similar incidents in the future. I hope sharing my experience will inform future guests and encourage Oblix to uphold the high standards expected of a restaurant of its caliber. As a Chinese woman, I cannot see myself visiting this restaurant again.

Yelp
I definitely expected much much more. I'm so sad to say that my first real reservation experience was a fluke. First off my patient was for 10 PM. I arrived at 10:16 PM due to security and walking out of the metro with a whole station being closed due to all of the protest yet when I arrived to the reservation desk, no one was there and I wasn't even greeted with the welcome instead, I was given a oh, no so if you want to, you can sit down and have drinks. OK fine we can have drinks, only to find out that the menu shows that their kitchen is open until 1030. we had asked the hostess to let us sit to a table that was a little bit closer to the window since we wanted a nice view to take some pictures. She noted know you can't get there because the table was there for other people that are coming for cocktails. We've been here for 40 minutes and no one has come there's three open tables around me and around the corner even more- come to think I think we were the only ones with the worse table view-How rude is that. The waitress comes over to say that she will check if the kitchen is still allowing for food since it was 1020. even with the restaurant at half capacity they still managed to ignore our table, so we quickly had our overpriced drinks and vowed not to return!

Yelp
Our first major meal in London England and it was quite special. We had lovely window seating and the views were amazing. Our server was top notch. The afternoon tea was quite the 2 hour experience. It was bottomless food and my son ordered refills of the sandwiches (mini prawn & lobster roll, cocktail sauce as well as the free range egg mayonnaise, brioche & Truffle). Imagine a 5 star eating experience with amazing deliciacies that is bottomless and that is the Oblix. Both children loved the sandwiches, scones and pastries. It was an outstanding experience and would recommend any couple or family to book afternoon tea at the Oblix at the Shard. The views were spectacular. The food was delicious. The quality and quantity filled up my growing teen boy. The service was so amazing for a 1st time London visitor. London hospitality was top notch. The server went through in detail, taking time to explain each deliciously crated edible treat, including the sandwiches, scones, and pastries. His service was so memorable, I plan to write a note to the manager once I return home. He is even on video, explaining everything in detail. Photos don't do justice of the dining experience of afternoon tea at the Oblix at the Shard. Definitely recommend afternoon tea here. Worth every penny and every second spent at the Oblix.

Yelp
We ate at Oblix West and had a wonderful view of the sunset. Our drinks were good. Dinner was the pepper steak and pork chop for us and both were generous portions and very tender. Both had flavorful preparations. We loved the gratin potatoes- they had a crispy crust to die for. The broccoli was good too. But service was very slow and our waiter apologized but it was irritating. Also we were seated at the high top counter and the person next to my husband was crowding him. That was also irritating. So good food and location, but the service and space need improvement.

Yelp
Oblix is one of the finest restaurants in all of London, perched on the 32nd floor of The Shard with sweeping views of the city. You'll pay good money for this culinary experience, but it is absolutely worth every penny! You can't say that about every high class restaurant, but Oblix did not disappoint. The truffle flatbread appetizer was a stunning symphony of flavors that only a proper chef could accomplish, artfully combining ricotta and pancetta on wafers. Stellar! The wagyu beef, aged in-house, was naturally perfect! You can even see the meats on display behind glass when you enter the restaurant. The succulent pork chop was absolutely stunning, accentuated by the chimichurri dipping sauce. The béarnaise was less than impressive, but the red wine sauce made up for that minor stumble. The seared beef appetizer with Parmesan and artichoke was delicious, but surprisingly upstaged by the flatbread. The dessert menu is filled with impeccable creations, like the cheesecake or the highly-recommended pecan chocolate bar with bourbon ice cream. Oblix made our anniversary very special, and it's one of those places where you truly cannot go wrong with any choice you make! When traveling by subway, take the underground train (the tube) to London Bridge station on the Jubilee or Northern lines. Exit the station, walk along the base of The Shard, hang a left in front of the building, and take the last revolving door on your left.

Yelp
This review is for Oblix East (the bar, not the restaurant side) We arrived to a half empty room with plenty of seats near windows, and were still seated as far away from them as possible. No server came by at any point to go thru the menu or bring water (we noticed other people getting service like this). Eventually someone took our drink orders but said there was no food available at that moment, not even basic bar snacks. Oblix west was serving food and other people ordered tea service which was mainly food, so it was quite odd that the only thing we could get was hard alcohol. Additionally, the bar description makes it sound as if you get the full 360 view, when you really only get about 1/3 of it. The drinks were just ok and totally overpriced. The decor and vibe was also underwhelming. There wasn't really music or anything interesting about the place. We ended up leaving right away and paying for observation deck tickets to get the full view anyway. And realized they have a bar up there as well. It felt like a waste of time and money coming to such a bland bar first.

Yelp
This was my second time at the Shard, but my first time at night. Oblix is an absolute stunner from the moment you enter its corridor of lights. Since my family and I arrived early, we were sat at a high table near the bar but our table ready before our reservation time. We had the 3 course special which included 2 bottles of wine for our party. For my appetizer I had Jumbo prawn cocktail, gem lettuce & spicy cocktail sauce. It included quite a bit of their special sauce, which I would've preferred drizzled over or on the side, but no biggie. I had the Spicy lobster and crab linguini, chilli, garlic & lemon for my entree. I enjoyed every bit of it. I concluded with the Chocolate fondant, salted caramel ice cream which I still crave till this day. And not to forget, I ordered their showstopper born a star. It was a passionfruit cocktail that taste equally as good as its grandeur presentation. We enjoyed our visit and I especially enjoyed the playlist. Our second wine was packaged for us to take home. I highly recommend placing a reservation. The setting is great for afternoon business meeting and evening intimate dinners. The view of the city is everything. I can't wait to return. Check out my mini vlog of our visit on my Tiktok/IG page with more clips to come https://www.tiktok.com/@udyontheglo/video/7068365348772482350?is_copy_url=1&is_from_webapp=v1

Yelp
Amazing view, good food, and wonderful service! A great way to spend our last night in London.

Yelp
Cant beat the view. Clean, chic interior. Good cheesecake. Inside this veneer are pretension and terrible service. After being seated we received no acknowledgment for 20 minutes. Once server finally came we received no explanation of the menu that you'd expect at somewhere of even 1/4 of the price. Drinks came and the real struggle begins. It was a Monday night and not busy. Instead of attending to customers, the staff paced around and stared. Was prepared to order a second (and third) round of their overpriced drinks simply to continue enjoying the view. But I was convinced if I had a spotlight I would not have got the staff's attention. What exactly they were doing mill around, I don't have the faintest idea. Attempting to make a second drink order (nearly an hour after receiving our first) was such a struggle my partner and I left out of a matter of principle. Had to walk up to the bar and asked the befuddled manager for the cheque. Place makes you like an unwanted dunce who's only there to annoy them. I don't care if it's a pretentious rooftop bar or McDonald's--getting staff attention should never be this difficult. Do not go unless you're into being served by an aloof staff, buying overpriced drinks and dealing with a snobby vibe. Ruined our night.

Yelp
Amazing views, delicious food, and impeccable service! We got the "bottomless wine and tea" option with our afternoon tea. The wait staff and management were delightful and attentive! This is a must do when in London and can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I took my boyfriend and his family here for his birthday. Already had high expectations since it's located in the Shard but daaaang, the food was delish! Everything we ordered, I honestly had no complaints about. We ordered: Sirloin steak - Cooked to perfection (Medium). Definitely worth the price tag for this food! Side dishes doesn't come with this, but the mash and the chips accompanied the steal really well. Whole Lobster - wonderful! The flavouring and the lobster itself was delicious! Pork dish (i forgot the name of it) - honestly, look at my photo. This dish, if you're a pork fan, is a MUST. It was soooo so so good! I could eat this all day! It was soft and so easy to chew. The skin was crispy affff, which is what i also love! I would for sure go back to this restaurant. Still need to try the other items on the menu!

Yelp
Great place to finish you're visit in London. Great view of the city. Our waiter was very nice and attentive as well, the food came out quick. The highlight of this place was their dry aged ribeye, it was so tender and probably one of the best steaks I've had. 10/10 would come back again

Yelp
I super loved this place! It's definitely my type of vibe especially just unwinding and exploring all around London VIEWS!!! Sophisticated dining and yes their drinks are world-class fancy looking cocktails and premium alcohol selections. Located on the 32nd floor of The Shard. Will be back again!

Yelp
Wow! What a terrific view! But do stick to the drinks on the menu. I ordered a martini and they charged me 20 quid!

Yelp
I visited Oblix a number of times while living in London for cocktails and some live jazz (and, of course, the view), but my favorite experience was coming here for dinner back in November of 2017. We celebrated our engagement here the day I proposed, and it has since become a very special place in our hearts. I made reservations a few weeks in advance, and we enjoyed a delicious steak dinner, and our sommolier paired the perfect wines with each of our meals. We had a beautiful view of the Tower Bridge and the square mile the whole time, and our server was wonderful to us. When she found out what we were there to celebrate, she had the kitchen bring a complimentary dessert plate out to us. I thought it was SUCH a nice gesture. The specialty cocktails, the night-time views, and the live music (at least, all the bands I happened to see) make this place worth visiting anytime you're in town; but this experience made Oblix an all-time favorite for me.

Yelp
When you first walk into the Shard, there is a security check and scan before you enter the elevators. Once you get in the elevators, no need to press any buttons and just enjoy the quick 15 second ride up to the 32nd floor. Oblix shares the same floor as the the other restaurants but is located on one side. There is coat check available before you enter in the restaurant. To go through the seating area you'll first walk through the open front kitchen. It's a cool design concept in my opinion but also feels rather strange since its brightly lit and then you immediately switch over to a dimly light dining area. My group of four was seated at a booth. The booth was quite nice and had the view of the wine room. We could see a bit of the London view from where we were but from a distance. To be honest, I don't think Oblix has the best view. Later we ventured over to the Hu Tong/Aqua Shard side and I liked their view a lot more. For starters, my group ordered the crab cakes and smoked salmon flatbread. Both were good dishes. The crab cakes were 2 pieces, warm and soft. They were served with a side salad. The smoked salmon flatbread was in a shape of a pizza. They definitely gave a generous helping of smoked salmon. For entrees we ordered duck for two, lobster and Bbq black cod. Our sides were mashed potatoes and mushrooms. Out of all the entrees I really enjoyed the Bbq black cod. It was so soft and perfect. I thought the BBQ sauce was a decent addition to the dish but didn't particularly enjoy the salsa side. The duck was also well cooked and not a bad dish. The lobster however was so dry and hardly had any meat on it. It was a rather disappointing dish. For desserts we ordered the cheesecake and seasonal Thai mango and exotic sorbet. I really enjoyed the mangoes! They were in season and just the best tasting mangoes. It combined really well with the three different sorbet flavors. I also got a fresh fruit juice which if I am remember was a blend of grapefruit, passion fruit and one other fruit. It was delicious!

Yelp
Went enter for afternoon tea. This place has a great view! If you can, definitely get a table by the window. Food was great!! Like their tea sandwich. Scone was so fresh and moist. Don't remember everything on the desert place but there's a chestnut eclair (don't know the exact name) was so great! It was nutty and creamy, while the eclair shell was so light!

Yelp
With any one of these elements, you can still have an acceptable restaurant: small portions; high prices; snobbery; imperfect service. This place has all four and an amazing view of downtown London. Ride the Eye and eat elsewhere.

Yelp
Today is my friend's birthday! We walked in on Friday and made reservations for tonight's dinner at the Oblix, West Wing (7PM). We got there 1/2 hour early but the lovely lady accommodated us right away. We had a view of St Pauls Cathedral, and could see the London Eye at a far distance. They do security check, pretty much like the airport before going in. The restaurants had a dedicated elevator, "32nd floor". We had Kamil as our server, he was great and very attentive. Service was great from beginning to end. My friend had the "Born a Star" cocktail, which was served in a Shard red case that when opened, had a "Smokey effect", thought that was cool...I had the Supersonic collins, which I thought was alright. For appetizers, we got the sourdough bread with home made butter and Crabcakes served with caviar on top. Had the roasted chicken with rosemary and truffle fries and mushroom risotto. For dessert, we had the Oblix chocolate fondant with salted caramel ice cream. On top of that, they brought a birthday ice cream that sat on a bed of biscoff(?) for my friend's birthday and as a bonus, we were given another ice cream for my birthday! Overall, had a wonderful time at The Shard. Thank you to the lovely crew for for a great birthday celebration Sincerely,

Yelp
Food and service were exceptional! Visiting from the US, we were welcomed warmly, shown the bar to wait for our reservation, and then our server gave excellent recommendations and was very kind. Albeit a very foggy day, you pay for the views and exclusivity of dining at the Shard, but the meal was amazing with fresh ingredients and creative spins. We concluded our meal with some Earl Grey tea that my partner fell in love with. After returning home a few months later, she reached out to Oblix on social to find out the maker of the tea and an extremely helpful employee named Lesley went above and beyond to respond to our message and find out that it's the Rare Tea Company. I would recommend, especially the calamari!!

Yelp
Oblix has one of the nicest views of london. Oblix located at the shard are separated into two separate dining rooms and an open bar. Reservations can be made through seven rooms. Reservations are highly recommended as most dining in places in London are booked up several weeks In advance. We were lucky to get a booth table which provides a little bit more privacy. There's a lot of ala carte items that you can order from but we opted for the chef's tasting menu which included a whole lobster. Minimum of two is needed to try the chefs tasting menu. The food was really good here my favorite were the prosciutto, calamari and main lobster. The drinks presentation was also lovely as most of the items are encased in a special box or with smoke coming out of it :) super intriguing.

Yelp
Very poor service. Waited 30 minutes for our order to be taken, starters arrived at different times and when we pointed this out to the waiter, we were met with a curt "we will serve the food as and when it's ready". We had to ask the waiter for water even though our glasses were empty. Food is tasty but not unique. All in all a disappointing experience especially given the price (£144 per person for a three course meal with wine - what a joke!). We asked to have our service charge removed and we weren't even asked why. Won't return - do yourself a favour and spend your money elsewhere. This ruined my parent's wedding anniversary meal.

Yelp
Due to many cancellations and postponements, due to Covid19, the time had come to celebrate my 75th birthday (thanks to my partner for the pressie). We had booked Oblix East so I could see my birthplace, The East end of London. Unfortunately, we received an email, with an alteration, telling us we had been placed in Oblix West. No problem, I was so glad that we were there, at last. Going through security was easy and the lift flight up, fast and smooth. Reception, in Oblix, was so swift and slick, yet friendly. We had arrived 15 minutes early (that's usual for us) and the table wasn't ready. We were asked if we would like to go for a drink while waiting in Oblix East. This was a bonus, got what I wanted in the first place. A charming young lady guided us to a window table. There, in front of me, was my birthplace. Just a point, that surprised me, the 'corridor' to the bar was so unlike the outside glass façade of The Shard. Ordering a drink, which arrived so promptly. Service was second to none. After about 30 minutes we were told our table was ready so, again, guided through that unusual corridor to Oblix West. It was packed with people but tables were well apart and masks always (???) to be worn when walking around. We had ordered a window table (supplement £5 per person). It was perfect. The West End of London. Again another drink arrived promptly as did the food that we ordered. Service here was second to none. They seemed to be in your head and ready to take your request. As for the food, exquisite in all ways. Only down was the government restriction of closure at 10 pm. Covid19 hitting again. You may have noticed my ???? after masking. My partner, on going to the loo, had forgotten and was reminded, politely, by a member of staff (no problem whatsoever). However, as she said, the young girls in the loo were walking out without masks. All in all, a wonderful evening. Thank you for my Happy Birthday ice-cream. If you ever get the chance (reserve early) it is well worth the visit. We loved it. Thank you to all the staff for this memorable evening.

Yelp
I loved this restaurant. The ambience was great, cozy and the view from the glass walls was AMAZING! We called and made a late last minute reservation. The accepted us, kindly reminding us that the kitchen was closing soon. My cousin and I decided to share everything: in the US, that's very reasonable. However, here, all of the portions were smaller. We shared, though and were both satisfied. My favorite item on the menu was the chocolate hazelnut cake. It is possibly the best chocolate desert I've ever eaten. The only bad part of the experience was our server, Mohammed. When I asked him the difference between squid and calamari, he said, "Squd...Calamari." and moved his hands, palms up, like a balancing scale. He commented that the difference was like that of chicken and beef. What??! I've had both plenty of times but wanted clarity that day. So, I Googled what Mohammed couldn't tell me. Before we left, Mohammed declared himself as the best server in the world then overcharged my bill and then offered the additional glass of wine first instead of the refund on the bill. Hmmm With desert , two drinks and the tip, we paid around $170 US. You decide.

Yelp
We walked to the shard in hopes to get up to one of the restaurants to enjoy the view. We chose Oblix~ and so glad we did! The path in from the elevators sets the stage, and then you enter and take in the gorgeous views! There were 2 sets of couples as we were both on our honeymoon and we got there at the perfect time for a drink before all their reservations kicked in. I recommend going around 4 (or an off time in between meals) to be able to get a table by the window. Views were awesome. Our cocktails were so fancy and hand-crafted with such unique garnishes and details upon presentation. They did hurry us out for their next reservation after our drinks, but that was okay. If you're going to visit the Shard, recommend drinks at Oblix.

Yelp
We saw a review of Oblix on a YouTube video and we determined that it was a must for our honeymoon trip to London. After a long flight, we had a reservation soon thereafter. We got to Oblix much earlier than our reservation but was still seated immediately. We had a beautiful view of London. The windows are beautifully cleaned so you can have an unobstructed view of the city. We ordered Sunday Roast because everyone says it's a must tradition. After a short wait, we received our appetizer that comes with the meal. It was delicious. I had not had food that tasted that good in a long time. Our Sunday Roast came out shortly after and it was spectacular. Beautifully cooked meat, tender potatoes and other delicious food. Even though we were full, we made sure to eat as much as we could because you don't often get to indulge in a feast that amazing. It is a bit pricey (about $50/person) for the Sunday Roast but it's truly worth it for quality and quantity. The service to get an alcoholic drink can improve and not sure why it takes so long. It's worth making this a stop on your London trip. You will not be disappointed. I hope to go to Oblix again in the future.

Yelp
Wonderful dinner with my wife on our final evening in London. Top-notch staff make everything perfect. Noticed a family wearing trainers left waiting outside the lounge: Please refer to the Oblix rules (now referred to as the David J rules of dining and life): -No trainers -No ball caps -No kids You might wonder why, well there was a group of four obnoxious Americans in the dining room (including one clown with his glasses on his head, wearing trainers). This is the reason I did not give five stars. Couldn't anyone find an extra chicken bone somewhere to shove down this guy's throat to shut him up? Now, as for my man, Alex - wow! Alex made this surprise dinner for my wife perfect -with a front frown seat to the beautiful views.
