Mici D’ici Wants to Make Its Namesake Barbecue Dish a Staple in Montreal | Eater Montreal

"In Bucharest, Obor Market is presented as the capital city's largest and oldest public market — a maze replete with stalls dishing out quintessential Romanian street food — and was the site where the Sector 2 mayor recently offered free mici at a mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinic to encourage vaccinations." - Valerie Silva

A must visit when in Bucharest. A central market where you will find tasty food and fresh fruit, vegetables and meat. Many locals shop here. Not sure what to eat, look for the places with long lineups. The place is huge with the top floor selling meat, cheese and deli meat. Once you’ve finished, go across the street to veranda Mall.

Excellent market to buy fresh fruits and vegetables. Paid parking. Nice experience if you are in Bucharest for few days.

Absolutely incredible market! Has all sorts. The outdoor area had fishing tackle and equipment, vegetable plants and trees and household items. There were some eateries as well which served traditional local food. The indoor section had nuts and seeds, berries, wild herbs and foraged plants, vegetables etc. There was a fresh milk booth serving fresh milk into bottles through a machine operated by a woman. It was busy. There were different types of yoghurts and preserves. There were also some stalls outside that sold locally produced wine in one litre bottles. Upstairs had boutique stuff and there was a row of butchers. We also found a cash machine there which was extremely useful as the local produce downstairs can only be paid by cash. We came across an Ayran machine where you picked a one litre empty bottle and filled it with freshly churned Ayran which was delicious. We sampled some local food outside and it was delicious. Definitely recommended!

This is an awesome market. Truly one of the best I have ever visited. It is organized and clean yet maintains the diversity of produce and great smells and images that come with market life (think giant piles of walnuts and every piece of the pig imaginable). As other cities "modernize" their markets, this should be a model.

This is my favorite spot in Bucharest. It's a charming local market with almost everything you could need. The fresh fruit and vegetable stalls are excellent, offering seasonal produce at very reasonable prices. There's also a section for meat and seafood, and the second floor has a variety of dry goods. I've found some great spices and natural products there. Lively and fun!

I visited Obor Market out of curiosity, but I didn’t end up buying anything. The place felt quite unclean, and the smell in some areas was really unpleasant. It might have good deals, but the overall hygiene and atmosphere need serious improvement.

Typical popular market with many fresh fruits and vegetables. I will recommend to buy there because cheaper than supermarket. Characteristic!
