The World’s Best Airport Meals, According to Travel Editors - AFAR

"When I first stepped off a plane at BWI I was pleasantly surprised to see an Obrycki’s right across from our gate, and I’ve been glad to find that the airport version lives up to the city’s reputation for steamed crabs and crab cakes — I’ve enjoyed blue crab cakes and Bloody Marys there, and the menu also includes crab dip, Maryland crab soup, crab Benedict, burgers, and a variety of fresh seafood and non-seafood salads." - Michelle Baran

Not worth the price at all. Better off going to silver diner. You expect to pay airport prices, but 62$ (not including tip) for a crab cake burger and a Bloody Mary (def not a double pour) is steep considering the quality and service. Place was pretty empty with plenty of staff, but service only came to take my order (as soon as I sat) then dropped off the check.

Review for Obrycki’s (Airport Location) Stopped by Obrycki’s at the airport and was pleasantly surprised! The Greta crab cakes were delicious—packed with lump crab meat, minimal filler, and seasoned just right. You can really taste the quality. The service was also on point—friendly, fast, and efficient, which is exactly what you need when you’re catching a flight. Definitely a great spot to grab a taste of Baltimore before takeoff!

Really disappointing experience. I used to visit this place often when traveling for work and always made a point to connect through BWI just to enjoy their crab cakes. Unfortunately, my visit on Wednesday evening (Sept 10) was terrible. The crab cake I was served was cold, unappetizing, and definitely not worth $35 (see photo). When I mentioned it, the gentleman working — an African-American man at the counter — was abrasive and completely unapologetic. There was no effort to explain, fix the issue, or even offer a simple apology. I eventually just walked away. This place has really gone downhill, which is sad given how much I used to enjoy it.

I got the crab omelette and tater tots. It was a great meal and good quality food. We were treated well by service too

Of course, being in Maryland, you just have to try their crabs. This place did not disappoint. I got their breakfast crab cakes eggs benedicts. Instead of bacon they have two small crab cakes underneath the egg. Let me tell you, it's absolutely delicious. They weren't stingy on the crab either, some big honking pieces of crab in it. I was a bit worried about the price, but with this quality? It's worth it. The drink is a passion fruit mimosa by the way. I'm only in Maryland for a layover but I'm glad I didn't have to go far to try their local food. If I came through this airport, I'd definitely be coming back again.

I had never eaten here before. I had the shrimp po boy with side broccoli. Po boy exceeded all my expectations. They had a like chipotle mayo type sauce on it. It had a little kick. I thought it was great. The veggies were also excellent. They put butter and pepper on them to elevate the broccoli a bit. All around very happy with what I got.

Mario was very attentive and nice. I had the jumbo lump crab roll....nothing jumbo about it. It was flavorful but very small portion. Sides leave something to be desired as well. Price is as expected for airport dining.

Everytime I'm at BWI airport, I try to make time to eat at Obrycki's Restaurant & Bar. The grilled chicken sandwich topped with crab dip (Chesapeake style) is absolutely delicious. The Margarita Fantastico has Patrón Silver and Grand Marnier to quench your thirst. Do yourself a favor and book a long layover and enjoy great food and drink.
