Observatory Eleven Bar

The food was absolutely delicious. I did not expect the food to be so good coming from a bar in the middle of the lobby. But this is the Westin. Great environment. Great views. Great food selection. The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly. The pork belly was great and they make their own buns for the burger. It was different but it worked and you can't go wrong with truffle fries.

Nice view here. Enjoy the sunshine and having a nice alcohol! What a life. Dessert are fantastic, drink are great too. I barely know any bar make good old fashion, but since it’s a nice bar should be able to make a good one.

Beautiful space with a wonderful view. We were there on a weekday in January and we practically had the place to ourselves. Clarence makes a great old-fashioned, especially with the brown butter bourbon. He also gave us a great dinner recommendation.

Food was very delicious. Great view of the river. Drinks are not served until after 12pm.

Beautiful views & atmosphere- the duck was served cold and raw, as in unchewable, we were not comped discounted or offered a replacement for the dish. The lamb was good, flavorful, a bit dry- could have used a sauce. Probably won’t come back🤷‍♂️

Our family thought this was one of the coolest cocktail places. The view was amazing. The waiter was super nice and personable. The drinks were amazing!!! We recommend the old fashion they made it themselves!! Its worth a cocktail or two!!!!

The view is 5+++ stars, pinot I chose 5 stars, gumbo was a 2, service ambivalent. Have been coming to this lobby for the view for 35 yrs. Stayed here a month for business years ago. Bottomline for this Westin bar — have a drink, enjoy the view, dine elsewhere. When you’re one of 3 total people sitting at the bar, you expect much faster greeting and followup. As a Louisiana native, I’m always nervous about ordering gumbo and shouldn’t have taken the bartender’s word that it was legit gumbo. The “skin” on the top meant it sat a bit, the flour gravy texture instead of rich roux was unacceptable, and just not worth finishing. $12/bowl. Westin can do better. Chef should go down street to Mr B’s to see a proper gumbo (they were closed or I’d have been there). Meh Service. Bartender never came by to ask how gumbo was, silently placed the check in front of me, 0 comment when he took my card and when he picked up the signed receipt. Would have been polite to at least have asked if there was a problem when 80% of the gumbo’s left in the bowl. I commented on the receipt. Hope they improve. Regardless, the magnificent view of the Mighty Mississippi and beloved French Quarter always makes this Westin lobby a must-see in NOLA. 🌞

Service is OK. View was beautiful. Music was nice. Meet some young local ladies working the scene. Felt like I was back Vegas. Didn't know call girls worked the hotel crowd anymore.

Pit stop for a fancy cocktail and a view! Great view of the Mississippi River! Get a Berry'd Alive Daq and you won't forget it. Enjoy!

This is a great spot for beautiful views and tasty small plates. We stayed at the Westin and were drawn in by the beautiful space and large windows overlooking the river. We stopped in for happy hour and they have some pretty fantastic deals. I went with a French 75 and my date had the Old Fashioned and they were both made to perfection. I also tried the French 86 mocktail and it was so good! We tried a few of the small plates. The charcuterie was my personal favorite but I also LOVED the truffle fries. The fresh burrata mozzarella wasn't our favorite - it just wasn't easy to eat and I think it could have used more dressing for flavor. The bartenders are super friendly and provided excellent service. We really enjoyed our experience here.

A beautiful place to enjoy your cocktail while looking at the great view of the river. Both drinks we ordered were pleasantly nice.

Lovely atmosphere! Bright and airy. Drink menu was phenomenal. And the bartender!!!! I wish I remembered her name. Sweet girl from Mississippi. She was amazing! Creative with her cocktails, very pleasant, informative, just the best!! Cheers to her abs this wonderful place! The place set the ambiance, she set the tone! It was a great experience!

Located in the lobby of the Marriott, this restaurant has an amazing view of the French Quarter and the Mississippi. By far, the best part of this experience was the drinks. I had the Berry'd Alive and I think about it all the time. The staff were friendly and helpful and honestly did their best to make sure we were comfortable. The food on the other hand wasn't bad, but I wouldn't have it again. The steak I had was good but the fries were not. The pasta was mediocre. I would definitely recommend this place for the drinks and the view, but that's about it.

The view was wonderful. Our cocktails were lovely. We sat at a table for some time looking over the view and realized no one came over to wait on us. Several people were working the bar area and only a handful of people around the open area of seating. I went to the bar and ordered drinks, paid, and brought them to my own table. Somewhere that nice/upscale should come to the table IMO.

Food was okay we had brisket sliders and Parmesan fries, service was okay, ambiance is the reason I'm Here. drinks were fine. Too many kids on a Saturday night. They should have had some music after 7 pm even if it was a sound track playing.

Four stars for the view. Relaxed lounge to watch the boats travel the mighty Mississippi. The Garlic Truffle fries were a great little nosh after walking Magazine before embarking on our journey thru the Quarter. The bartender's skills left a little to be desired. My seasonal mocktail didn't even rise to the level of flavored sparkling water and such a disappointment.

Incredible views and incredible cocktails! Definitely will be back to visit again and get food next time!

Food and drinks were pricey. Service was nothing special. Unless you're staying at the hotel, I'd skip this one. It's a really pretty spot, but the view was also lacking..

This is a nice little place. If you need to kill some time in between activities. We will rest then in between activities. Came here to catch a drink and enjoy the view of the Mississippi. All the drinks are kind of on the fantasy side. So it was kind of hard. Decided what we were going to drink but I finally decided on something vodka, bass, drinking. I believe my husband has something with tequila in it. We both enjoyed our drinks and we were off till our next destination

Observatory 11 is located on the 11th floor of the Westin. My friend and I dropped by one day to get a drink (you earn 6X points with a Marriott Bonvoy cc!) Benita and T were absolutely wonderful to have at the bar. So kind and helpful. The bar is stunning with a clear open view of the Mississippi River along its giant windows. The drinks were delicious and there was great live jazz music to pair with it. Check it out!

Great ambiance - spacious and the decor is beautiful with amazing views of the river and the French Quarter! I was trying to cool off as it was so hot outside and found this spot via Yelp :) I ordered the Espresso Martini and it was pretty tasty. Staff was super friendly and it was a great place to relax.

Last weekend, we had Date Night here and enjoyed refreshing cocktails Drop the Lemon Martini, Burger, Old Fashioned Crawfish Bread was heaven. I can eat that every day. It's so good. Yes, highly recommend. This place is the circular craft cocktail bar and lounge area inside the beautiful Westin New Orleans.

Christina was absolutely an amazing bartender and made us feel like we had a friend in a new city.

Experience was just "ok". Was told right away there was no table service. Lady who took our order gave mediocre service. There was an event upstairs in the ballroom that was very distracting. Overall, not the experience we expected.

I am in town for a quick turn around trip. I decided to book a room at the Westin... There are two restaurants at this beautiful hotel, Observatory 11 and Bistro on the Bend. I decided to try Observatory 11 due to me not being hungry hungry, but hungry enough to snack. Clarence was my bartender, he is so nice, full of information, relating to the menu, drink selection, and New Orleans... I decided to go with Gochujang Wings, Grilled Gulf Shrimp, and he recommends the Queen of Rum Row, sooooo gooddddds!!!

on point service, beautiful furnishings, clean environment fantastic work ethic, went the extra mile to make sure my take out was top tier.

This place could be so much more. Why have a beautiful spot but use cafeteria tables. Finish with great furniture. The service was decent but the drink we had nasty. Don't call the drink espresso martini if you using cold brew. It was just poorly made and the mix was bad. Did not go well. Appreciated it was with oat milk instead of dairy. Again they have a prime spot they are just not utilizing it to the fullest to draw ppl. Didn't eat any food so can't comment on that.

We stopped in at the bar on our way to the shops. Great place to have a cool beverage and relax away from the street noise!

Found the perfect brunch spot! We sat at the bar & had the best server. He knew everything about the drinks and food & made it easy for us to make decisions. I ended up getting Rum Punch with Chicken and Waffles! 10/10 & I definitely will be back.

We loved this lounge. The view from here is beautiful, and they lounge is so comfortable. Bartender was really nice and so were the staff. We stayed here for hours before our flight to escape the heat and were very comfortable. There's also a viewing elevator on the other side that you can take and go straight to the shopping mall.
