A fantastic little snail restaurant tucked away in the Old Quarter. The food is genuinely impressive — not only snails they offer other seafood as well. The food is fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. Every dish is well-seasoned, rich in taste, and perfect for sharing. If you enjoy Vietnamese seafood street-style, this place delivers. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the central location. Great value for the quality you get. That said, the restaurant is quite small, which means it fills up quickly. Without a reservation, you should expect a long wait, especially during peak hours. Booking ahead is highly recommended. Overall, delicious food at a fair price — just plan ahead to avoid the queue.

Nice spot in the Old Quarter for southern-style seafood and snail dishes. The food was flavorful and fresh — especially the grilled scallops and garlic butter snails. Prices are a bit higher than street-food places, but quality is good.

This is an Oc (snails and molluscs) specialty restaurant that is popular in Saigon. Price wise it is quite expensive, considering that I would pay far much less in the stalls I frequent in Saigon. But the taste, they’re really good. Since it is a specialty store, make sure you get the snails and mollusks unlike others who order things like fried rice and noodles geared to people who don’t know the concept. The two must order in my opinions are the Oc Huong (spotted Babylon snails) fried with garlic and lard and the Rang muc (squid teeth) with butter sauce. Get the small banh mi (baguettes) to scoop up the deliciousness of the sauce. I came here not hungry but I was craving for some Oc, and I think despite the price I will come back and try more of the snails.

Drawn to this place because of their Michelin status. However the food was really just mediocre. Had their fried rice, fried seafood noodles, scallops, and snail. Disappointedly, only their scallops were passable. Their fried rice and noodles were a tad too bland and dry. The upside is that it was pretty affordable for seafood. Also saw an insect crawling underneath the utensils holder, and did not dare to lift it up. Saw that there were other google reviews about finding cockroaches underneath there.

I ordered two shellfish dishes and one stir-fried squid dish. The food was tasty, though a bit on the sweet side. But it went quite well with beer, so overall it was okay.

The garlic butter snail is fresh however a tad too sweet for my liking. Clams steamed in lemongrass is perfectly executed, a must-have dish !

I stopped in for my birthday dinner after a long excursion wanting some seafood. It did not disappoint. Everything was delicious! We had morning glory, sweet snail with chili salt, grilled shrimp, garlic squid, and kumquat juice. I’ll be back before we return to the US!
