Ocean Beach Bar-Food

Bar Food could also be called Comfort Food! They serve breakfast menu items ALL day long. I really enjoy their Breakfast Sando and well as their Breakfast Burger. Bacon, Eggs, Cheese, Yummy!! The owner Penny is a super rad dude who provides excellent service with excellent food. You can either walk in through their entrance on the sidewalk or place an order from the neighboring bar Sunshine Co. Whatever you order you will be satisfied. 10 out of 10, I recommend!

Such a good stop before the beach! The guy behind the counter (who is also the chef, and I believe, the owner) is super rad and is so nice! I can tell he has immense pride in what he does. I got the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and my friend got the OB Cheesesteak, and both were AMAZING. Picture of the burger does not do justice - you'll just have to find out for yourself! The guy isn’t always directly behind the counter (a bell might be a good addition) but don’t let that deter you!! I’ve only waited a few minutes between both times I’ve been there.

Excellent cheeseburger with fries. Burger cooked perfectly on the griddle, fries same, No downside here. All three less than 20 dollars. Nice place. I really enjoyed it. I'll be back.

This place has absolutely amazing burgers that the founder Pennywise took 3 years to develope the perfect beef cut mixture of patty along with special cheeses and toppings. The fries taste like McDonald's in the 80s! Might be one of the best burgers in the world, dare I say.

I got the in in out burger double stack and it was by far the best burger I’ve had at any location definitely recommend it!💯

So now that ive tried a few thing I can accurately review. THE FOOD IS AWESOME!!!!!! Back to composer. So The cheeseburgers are delicious, the onion rings are perfect, and the nuggets are better than McDonald's. Got to try their sauces. Obviously the ranch is good but they have a sweet Tai sauce that's phenomenal and what looks like a spicy mustard but taste like a sweet BBQ sauce is out of this world. Honest competition for hoodads.

OB style, in the old Livingstone, later Chicken Headz, next to the Sunshine Company. Definitely can't beat the prices, had a #1 cheeseburger (In & Out style) and 1/2 cheese steak sandwich, with an order of fries for around $20. Cheese steak had a lot of meat. Fries are crispy and not oily, most likely due to the beef tallow. Going back to try more off of the menu. Staff are awesome

2 stars because the owner said the fries are made with tallow. I hope it's true. I asked for just ketchup on my triple bacon cheeseburger, and they threw onions on it. No biggie, but then I went back to get it remade, and the OWNER was hesitant to remake it. If it was In-N-Out, the manager, not even the owner, would immediately hand me a card for a free meal. I spent $55, returned my burger, and walked away after he started accusing me of being incorrect. My friend tolerated his burger. In all honesty, a triple with bacon and fries is probly $35. No telling whether they'd get your order right, or remake it if it's wrong. Of course I could have stood there till he 'remade it', but he definitely would have just scraped the onions, thrown on bacon, and slid it back. Never again. Hey owner, nice job.
