The Best Viet-Cajun Restaurants in Houston | Eater Houston

"Often a packed house at Ocean Crawfish in Asiatown, people come for the unique and reasonably priced seafood dishes that are full of flavors. Specialties include grilled finger snails with green onion butter and periwinkle snails sauteed in lemongrass, but those looking for Cajun dishes can find fried gator and a solid bowl of seafood gumbo, enjoyed best with an ice-cold beer, Michelada-style." - Brittany Britto Garley

Their recent $9/dish promo is a very good deal for first time customers to try out different food. I personally like the garlic calamari, oysters and quail so much. Their snail dishes are not as good as I expected. But overall it’s a nice dining experience.

Google
I ordered oysters during my visit to this restaurant and was really impressed. The oysters were fresh, the meat was sweet, combined with the sauce and toppings on top to create a harmonious, delicious flavor. The dish was beautifully presented, clean and brought out still retaining a pleasant coolness. A memorable culinary experience, I will definitely come back .

Google
I had dinner here with my family and really enjoyed it. I love cheese oysters here because they were creamy, and delicious. I also tried the raw oysters, which were super fresh and perfectly chilled as well. The food came out quickly. The service was okay, not great but decent enough for a busy night.

Nice place for seafood with a few unique options. Service was great , even for large parties.Plenty of room to accommodate large groups. Food was on point and not overly salty. Lobsters 🦞 we’re a bit on the small size, but everything else was great. Crawfish were a decent size and very little dead ones. Grilled oysters 🦪 were very good, good chargrill flavor without overcooking and shrinking

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ocean Crawfish is such a hidden gem! Clean environment, friendly service, and the food was absolutely delicious. 🕊️ Roasted Pigeon – Crispy skin and tender meat. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. No gamey taste at all, which was a pleasant surprise. 🦞 Crawfish – Super flavorful! We tried both the garlic butter and spicy versions. The meat was juicy and easy to peel. Not overly salty or oily—just perfect. 🦪 Oysters – Fresh and plump! The raw ones had a nice ocean taste, and the grilled garlic oysters were packed with flavor without being fishy. Overall, very satisfying meal at a reasonable price. Great spot for seafood lovers. Will definitely come back again!

Ocean Crawfish is a seafood lover’s dream! We feasted on crawfish, conch, oysters, and a variety of other delectable seafood dishes. The flavors were bold and authentic, with a delightful Vietnamese-Cajun fusion. The crawfish were juicy and well-seasoned, the conch was tender, and the oysters were fresh and flavorful. The cozy, boat-themed interior added to the dining experience, making us feel like we were on a seaside adventure. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. We can't wait to return and explore more of their extensive menu!

We were trying to figure out where to go since our original spot wasn’t open for a few more hours, so my brother suggested Ocean Crawfish on a whim—and it turned out to be a great decision. Don’t let the dated exterior fool you—this place serves up some seriously good food. We each got two pounds of crawfish, which were unfortunately a bit overcooked, but everything else absolutely hit the mark. My brother ordered a feast: crispy fried catfish, oysters with rich garlic butter, razor clams, and roasted shrimp with a tangy tamarind glaze. Every dish (aside from the crawfish) was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The menu is extensive and full of options. If you’re a seafood lover, this spot is worth a visit. Despite the crawfish being a miss this time, the overall experience was a win.

Google
I ordered shrimp fried rice and was really surprised by the quality. The rice was fluffy, fragrant, and not too oily. The shrimp was fresh and sweet, served with eggs and green onions, very tasty. This dish looks simple but is very carefully prepared .

Yelp
First review of 2025 goes to Ocean Crawfish! I've been eying this place for a while now but finally got around to trying it tonight. Had some family from out of town visiting for the holidays and she loves this stuff. They offer a variety of fresh seafood, cooked traditional Vietnamese style. My favorite by far was the razor clams with roasted garlic. I could eat a whole plate myself. The garlic butter crawfish was solid as well, but come here for the speciality snails/oysters/clams/etc. Best in town when it comes to these dishes. The food comes out surprisingly fast! They turn over tables quick. Definitely coming back. FYI it's a drinking spot so it can get loud!

Yelp
Heard this place gets packed on weekends. Decided to go on a weekday for dinner. The interior of Ocean Crawfish is decorated like you're inside a boat. Until 11/22/24, there's a special where some dishes are only $9 each! Crazy price for the food quality! Service was quick. Pay at the counter once you're done eating. Complimentary lettuce but it was just ok, nothing unique. Ordered 3 dishes: rau muong xao toi (stir-fried morning glory with garlic), grilled oysters (10pc), and garlic fried squid All were delicious! There was something really addicting about the fried garlic bits with oil in the squid dish. Will go back in the future to try other dishes!

Yelp
Food: 1.5 out of 5 ( looks good but no flavor) Price: 4.5 out 5 - good price Portion: 4.5 out of 5 - pretty big portions but taste Service: 3 out of 5 - better than CA service Ambience: 2 out of 5 * 1 server wearing sunglasses ( 7:30pm so dark outside), shorts & sandals to work

Yelp
Oh my goodness! A total flavor bomb. So glad we gave this spot a try. We drove 3 hours away to eat food in Houston and this place definitely made the drive worth it! Everything was so flavorful. My favorites were the crab legs and the sate chili oil snails. The sauces were so buttery, had the perfect blend of sweet and savory. I literally wanted to take home the leftover sauce to cook rice in! We also enjoyed the cheese scallops too! Food came out very quickly. Nice staff. It was pretty spacious inside, casual vibe. There was no wait since we got there around 3pm.

Yelp
If you're wanting a seafood fix, this is a great spot! Good service, everyone that helped us was friendly. Our party dug into the apps so no pics. We had gotten the fried gator, fried fish, and boudin balls. They all came with fries. Everything came out piping hot but deliciously seasoned and perfectly fried. Entrees: -Oyster house special (huge oysters with Tabasco and pico) -Grilled oysters with cheese (as cheese lovers, it was a hit) -Grilled mussels with onion fat (our fav, the fat added the extra savoriness) -Grilled scallop with quail egg (eggs overcooked on the hot tray so recommend eating asap) -Grilled finger clams with green onion butter We enjoyed all the grilled seafood. They came out fresh and sizzling. Every flavor was a hit Not pictured: garlic butter crawfish (4/5) There was no shortage of garlic. There was a stronger orange flavor which I can see other people enjoying but I prefer a stronger garlic butter flavor with my crawfish. Overall, would definitely recommend if you're wanting good Vietnamese-style seafood!

Yelp
My second visit here. This time, we didn't get any salad as last time. Service this time around was not very good. I ordered the oyster combo, small cheese scallops, seafood pan-fried noodles, and fried okra. I wasn't very impressed with any of the dishes. I found the scallops with cheese to be the best dish. I find that their dishes were over-priced & underwhelming this time around. Maybe it was an off day for them, but I don't think I'll be returning for a third round. There are so many amazing seafood & crayfish joints in Houston to explore. Happy Yelping!

Yelp
The foods are the best taste, fresh with super good cooking. They have so crowded of staff, quickly serve & supportive in nice ambiance. We had them support to celebrate Birthday in the restaurant, they're willing to make it surprise with music and off lighting The price is a little high than average

Yelp
How this place doesn't have 5 stars with 5000+ reviews is beyond me. My friend wanted to go here, I checked Yelp reviews (3.5 stars) and was thinking "mehhh", but I went with them anyway. And OMG this is by far the best restaurant in Houston. Fresh seafood and very affordable price, checked. Well seasoned seafood fried rice and noodles, checked. It's a seafood restaurant but the non-seafood dishes are also great. the food comes out SUPER fast, checked. All servers are friendly, checked. What else to ask for? This is really a rare find. I'll for sure go back here every time I'm in Houston

Yelp
Food is good. Service is good. Ambiance is good. This is a decent spot to satisfy for OC cravings.

Yelp
This is the closest thing to home when I'm craving for Vietnamese style cooking of Seafood. Instead of flying 5 hours to California, I just take an 1.5 hr flight to Houston for good Asian food. The food surprisingly comes out fast no matter how long you have to wait. I've been here twice already. Once with having to wait for 20 minutes to be seated. However, once we were sat and ordered our food, it came out pretty quickly. We always order crawfish, oysters and other types of Seafood when we come and it's never disappointing. The only thing I was not fond about are the restrooms. It was small and had paper towels everywhere... But don't worry, they remodeled it and looks nice now. I would recommend this place if you're in the mood for some Vietnamese Seafood or just to get out with some friends to catch up. They do serve alcohol ... so that's a plus!!!

Yelp
Looking at the menu I was really impressed with the variety of their foods. There were definitely good and disappointing dishes * Shrimp in the house special sauce: unfortunately this is the worst I had among other places. The sauce just doesn't have enough flavor or even spiciness (and we ordered the next to max level) * Gỏi ốc giác was pretty good, thanks to the sauce * Sụn gà: the fish sauce didn't stick to the protein yet and the flavor wasn't enough either. * Đùi ếch cháy tỏi: Nothing too special about this. The frogs were over fried a little bit * Miến xào cua: This was more "ghẹ" than "cua". That's why it lacked that Dungeness crab flavor that you would expect. However the miến had enough flavor so we could let it pass.

Yelp
Really wanted to like this place but everything was just overly salty. Vibes were good coming in as the restaurant was spacious and playing really hype Viet music. Things kinda got disappointing afterward because every dish that came out was just sooo salty, and everyone at my table thought the same, especially the chicken gizzard and squid eggs. Funny enough, their signature fried rice turned out to be overly bland and the "fish eggs" that the server raved about were just tobiko. The rice was extremely mid and lacked seasoning but in turn we ate a lot of it to compensate for the saltiness of everything else on the table. The bloody clams were the only one I like, but even then it was a bit overcooked and there were maybe 5 clams in the soup. Bill came out to be around $100 for 4 ppl, and I just don't know if it is worth it.

Yelp
Such a hidden gem. For all those that are familiar with the "famous" Oc & Lau in SoCal, I'm not sorry to say that the seafood here is so much better! Every dish was packed with so much more flavor. Really enjoyed our server. She was so helpful with her iPad, showing us pictures of the menu and making sure we ordered well. She's the epitome of the Vietnamese auntie who loves on all her nieces and nephews.
google avatar

Dianna N.

Yelp
Great place for larger groups wanting affordable Vietnamese seafood and snails. Large menu and after a while I got tired to taking photos of every dish we ordered. Everything came out fast and fresh. After we got our dishes the server basically forgot about us. I recommend going there for the food vs service.

L N.

Yelp
I want to say it's kind of a hole in the wall, however, this place has been here forever. I've been here before for crawfish but this was my first time trying their specials from the $9 menu. Tried the grilled oysters, clams, snails, mango salad, and seafood noodles. The food is very flavorful. Service was great, the food came out pretty fast. Definitely should try this place if you like seafood and trying new things.
google avatar

Mark N.

Yelp
The veggie dish wasn't fresh and lacked flavor. The best dish they had was the Mango Snail Salad. The rest of the food was just mediocre at best. Please check your bill with larger parties. We had a table for 10. They charged us Gratuity which is understandable but they also charged us a delivery fee. Why would a restaurant owner charge your guest gratuity and also a delivery fee if we are dining in. Just shows you how dishonest some restaurants are by doing this

Yelp
Ocean Crawfish is one of those spots where you go to get a real authentic Vietnamese experience. This place suffers from the lack of social media presence and the lack of visits from the younger, more tech-savy generations to push it to the forefront of the Houston food scene. For more context, I grew up in Vietnam and lived there for 15 years, so I have always wanted to relive my memories of eating authentic Vietnamese street food. What most people don't realize is that Vietnamese cuisine is much more than just Pho, different assortments of rice noodles, grilled pork broken rice, and banh mi. The street food scene in Vietnam is just as vibrant, and one of the most crucial components of Vietnamese street food is our snail dishes. Snail/seafood restaurants are virtually everywhere in Sai Gon and are usually go-to destinations for a night-out drinking. Re-creating that kind of experience in the US is super hard, simply because of the lack of fresh snails. Thus, most Viet snail restaurants that I've been to in Texas usually have outrageous prices due to the scarcity of the ingredients. Ocean Crawfish is not one of them. They serve very reasonably-priced snail and seafood, considering the rate of inflation. Furthermore, if you ask the staff, they are very good and honest with telling you which ingredients they actually have fresh that day and which is just frozen store-bought. We only ordered the snails that were fresh and I was blown away by the quality of ingredients and seasoning. Each dishes usually involves one core ingredient (usually the type of snail, fish, etc.) and you have the choice for it to be prepared in different ways. Again, the staff is really good at telling you which way of cooking/preparing is most suitable for the ingredient of your choice (by the way, this is also how these restaurants are run in Vietnam). The restaurant itself is also very vibrant with a cozy family meal kind of feeling. It is worth noting the surrounding area may not be the safest but the restaurant owner has hired a security guard service who is always on duty while the restaurant is open. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone who has a penchant for trying authentic eating experiences and for any Vietnamese who misses the nostalgic Vietnam street food scene.

Yelp
Food was okay, we had the sea snails in coconut milk and 2 lbs of crawfish boil as well as the pork belly. Portions were small. Service was okay. Restaurant smelled a bit off. Anime opening covers were playing, which made for a weird ambience.
google avatar

Kristy S.

Yelp
Super excited to try this place. Lots of parking but be careful drivers are driving crazy here. And the security guard parks in the middle of the lane ‍‍ Anyway restaurant is pretty big. We ordered an assortment of seafood and quail, and goi. Fried fish and fries and noodles for the kids. Everything was delicious. The only issue is service needed help. They kept bringing us wrong dishes meant for other tables or literally bringing dishes we didn't order, bringing 2of the same dish when we ordered 1.... It was a mess. There was plenty of staff but they were everywhere. Other than better coordination and communication it was great.

Yelp
This is my first time here at Ocean Crawfish. My family recently discovered this Vietnamese Cajun restaurant. They serve a wide variety of seafood in a Vietnamese inspired, Cajun influenced style. It's quite special. I haven't had anything like this before. The menu has so many items and seafood options that I haven't seen before. I was really impressed. When we arrived on a Friday evening, it's pretty empty around 6 pm. We sat down at a large table and the waiter came to greet us right the way. The service was super fast. Water, menu, and plates and utensils all came right the way. We started the evening with their famous fried rice and oyster. All the food came so quickly that's amazing. The fried rice was super delicious. I highly recommend it. I am not a big oyster fan but their oyster seasoned and baked on hot grill plate was pretty good. We also ordered two different clams which are cooked differently. My favorite was the salted egg sauce that is just absolutely amazing. Nothing like I anticipated and it's so good. We also ordered their crawfish boil which was good, but I would probably recommend trying other items on the menu because they are more special. The quail was seasoned really well and so delicious. Highly recommend it as well. There are so many delicious food I had here that I must come back again and have more. This place is great for large groups, so you can try as many different kinds of seafood as possible. I highly recommend this place for people who are adventurous to try seafood in different cooking styles.
google avatar

Melody P.

Yelp
Such a cool family business kind of vibe. The menu had items of different seafood with a Vietnamese twist. Great options to drink beer with for sure. We ordered so much food but sadly I didn't get many photos of. I ordered a michelada and a server accidentally dropped some food into it while bringing the food and was kind enough to offer and provide a new drink for me. Definitely would like to come back when visiting Houston again.
google avatar

Annie H.

Yelp
This place is amazing! My favorite restaurant that I've tried in Houston during vacation. I wish we had this restaurant in Las Vegas. We were seated right away, luckily it wasn't busy. Staff were helpful every-time we needed anything. My favorite was the fried chicken feet. It's flavorful and crunchy! Their snail in coconut was delicious, creamy and flavorful this dish were my parents favorite. We ordered their house special fried rice and it was the first time I had fish roe in fried rice soooo freaking good! And the crawfish sauce was the best I've had. I'll defiantly come back here when visiting!

Liliana F.

Yelp
Crawfish season can be more seasoned . Everything else we've tried was good. Definitely do recommend coming to try this spot. They are very hard workers. Margaritas was good for the prize they listed.
google avatar

Jenna H.

Yelp
One of my favorite seafood spot in the area. The service is always quick and the workers are kind. The ambiance of the restaurant can vary depending on when you come to dine. Usually it's busier at night and slower during the day (lunch hour). (4/6/2023) It's $7.99 a pound and the size of the crawfish are medium-large size. They're also live not frozen. My personal favorite flavor is garlic butter. Their house special has garlic butter and a mix of oranges/onions. Not my favorite, but if you like the tangy/citrus flavor, i'd suggest it. They have 5 spice levels ranging from Mild, Medium, Spicy, Extra Spicy, and one last options. Their mollusks are really good here as well and my Mom's favorite is their Special fried rice with fish eggs.

L N.

Yelp
I visited this restaurant on a busy Saturday evening with a group of six. Understandably, there was a wait upon our arrival. However, the staff was accommodating and offered us the choice of immediate seating outside or waiting a bit longer for a table indoors. Given the pleasant weather, we opted for the patio. It was my first time trying various shellfish dishes Vietnamese style, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. We indulged in oysters, crawfish, scallops, mussels, and more, all served hot and fresh. The seafood fried rice was particularly exceptional, one of the best I've ever tasted. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Authentic Vietnamese street seafood - it doesn't get better than this. Fresh seafood grilled/cooked the way of your choice. Most of our seafood we prefer grilled with buttered green onions with the authentic flavorful herbs/toppings. Ambience is lively with locals and tourists to the Vietnamese community. Service is good with many young immigrants trying to make a buck - shout out to these hard working kids. This place is an iconic spot in the Vietnamese community for a reason, and the quality of food puts it respectfully on top of the throne.

Maria R.

Yelp
I got a to go order. Shrimp is over cooked. The butter spilled all over my car from the sea food boil. Some food was missing from the order , for which I paid extra. Overall wasn't a pleasant experience
google avatar

Kayla T.

Yelp
A friend recommended this restaurant because we were looking for a good seafood restaurant in this area, let's just say we were super disappointed. The crawfish smelled and even looked old, in addition to it tasting way too sweet. The raw oysters were old and all brown. Lemon pepper wings extremely bland, should try it for yourself to see. Honestly waste of money.
google avatar

Yelp
Party of 3. Came to feast on Oc. quick snack. .total bill with one beer: $110. overall place was good. would stop by again but will definitely try other oc places first. In my opinion the snails were a bit chewy. Below are the dishes we had and ratings of them. Oc Len xao dua , ox huong rang me, oyster sashimi( best) oc Mong tay nuong mo hanh (ok) oc gao xao sa ot, raw oysters, (least favorite, too much work)

Yelp
Been here many times and talking to my friends this places by far is our favorite in the Houston area. Why? The seafood selection is abundant and they'll tell you what's fresh and frozen. Why is that important? To any Asian who enjoys eating seafood it's gotta be fresh because the texture of the meat can either be mushy or have a pretty bad odor. Anyways besides coming here at least once a month or bring guest and friends to try out what Houston's seafood offers I like to take them here. Recently I had crawfish here, early in the year and they were smaller but quite good. We ordered a small batch with garlic butter sauce and it was just right. We had the mild but still had some kick to it which is fine, my wife lost her taste with spicy foods so I'll accommodate. We also had sashimi oysters dressed with seaweed, Tabasco, wasabi and flying fish roe. We also had the grilled ones topped with hot boiled scallions. Fried rice is always good here, it's what we usually have the kiddos eat as they don't enjoy the seafood as much as adults. The razor clams in morning glory was also nice. Give this place a try, I can go on and on and we always try something new or ask for recommendations. The wait staff is super nice and friendly.

Diem-Trang N.

Yelp
Been to this place couple of times, service is alright at best but the food was good. Ordered two or my usual, the squid was fishy and ammonia tasting (it went bad) rice was unevenly fried and super dried. Would not return anymore. What a waste of money
google avatar

Maria N.

Yelp
Items that were good: oc mango salad, chicken feet, phoenix clams, mien with crab. Crab wasn't meaty enough however. Crawfish unfortunately had no flavor except what was thrown on the outside. Service was rushed and difficult to get waiter/waitress to add items to order. Location is in a semi sketch area of town so be aware.
google avatar

Kathryn N.

Yelp
I love almost everything here. If u love drinking foods (đồ nhậu) or shellfish/seafoods, then this is the place to be. Love all their salads n shellfish here! Only complaint is, their salads r waaaayyyyyy too spicy! It's so good but I hate myself n regret eating it every single bite! N they can't make it less spicy either. That really sucks for people who can't eat spicy. Even my husband who eat very spicy could barely handle it. One star off for that. I love love love their salted egg yolk sauce! So creamy n savory n rich! I love it with blue crabs. One time I called in a Togo order to bring to my friend's, I guess they heard me wrong n gave me soft shell crabs, the sauce didn't taste the same, was too salty, n the fried crabs were definitely not good Togo. We put it in an air fryer to revive it but it made the sauce dry up n just wasn't good.

Yelp
I came here to take advantage of the $5.99 a pound special. I stumbled across this page from an Instagram ad and my goal this summer is to try as many crawfish places I can! This place is at the end of a shopping center and very noticeable from the street. There's plenty of parking as well. Upon entering, the server seated me and handed me my menu. It was pretty empty around 2pm on a Wednesday. I already knew what I wanted as I had seen reviews prior to coming. I ordered the grilled oyster with cheese and three pounds of their house special crawfish. The house special sauce came with a citrusy taste but was good and the grilled oysters were amazing! That was my fave part! It came out bubbling on the tray. It is topped with cheese, roe and I think chives. I woke absolutely return to get the oysters again! They also give you a complimentary salad which I enjoyed as well.

Kalex C.

Yelp
Overpriced snails dishes. $20 buck for like 15 snails dip in spicy mayo sauce.. serve cold?? Never going back!!

Yelp
My absolute favorite stop in Houston. We were craving some authentic Vietnamese food, glad we picked this place! Everything came out SUPER quick, dishes started to hit the table about 5-10 minutes after we ordered. The portions are decently sized and we had 4 people and still ended up ordering more because we wanted to try multiple things. We tried oysters, different types of mussels and clams, crabs, squid, and some stir-fried veggies with garlic. We didn't want to order any starch to avoid being full. All the seafood tasted super fresh and was piping hot when it was served. The highlight of the night for me was definitely the salt and pepper crab or the butter onion oysters. A must try! The shell on the crab was soft enough to eat. Everything was well flavored and servers here are super nice and attentive. Wished we lived in TX just to come here more often! Until next time!
google avatar

Roger D.

Yelp
Service is good food is good. Price is good not much to complain here. Service beer and wine with your clam or crabs. Speciality items are also on the menu. Not in the best hood but it's Beechnut. So it's my hood Chinatown.

Yelp
Love it. Taste so Jimmy. Will come back and bring my friends and family to this restaurant

Yelp
My friends and I had a good variety of seafood here; about 7(?) dishes for a group of 6. BUSY on a Sunday night. The waitress actually messed up and served our food to a different table. We were short on time so unfortunately we had to cancel those 2 dishes and end the night. The did owner(?) came out and apologized once we told the waitress to cancel the dishes. Food itself was okay. I do want to try other Oc places when I'm back in Houston to compare taste.

Yelp
solid cf spot. had their garlic butter and it was on point. and their pricing/lb was actually pretty cheap. i think it was 7.99 when i went, price could change, so dont come after me. but the real highlight of this place is their snails! they have a variety of snails cooked up in different ways! great for a night out with friends and a few beers! their grilled chicken feet. O.MG. im still thinking about it. very authentic street food vibe. i came on a busy sat night but the staff was fully equip , the food came out fairly fast and i felt like i was tended to. i had to wait about 15mins for a table, but that's pretty reasonable for a saturday night. will definitely return.

Yelp
Honestly, I come here many times, but I never feel satisfied at all even I love their food. This time, I brought my family to celebrate birthday. We were waiting for 30 minutes or so. My parents were fine to wait. The host tried to not let us know how long the wait was. She kept telling us that it was just few minutes. Ridiculous! Then, a guy came to ask for a table. The owner replied that if they came in a small group, they had to wait; however, big group could get table right away. At the moment I heard what she said, my family agreed to leave. I'm done. Never come back again!!!

Yelp
This place is decent. The snow crabs were flavorful and was overall good. We also got some oysters, noodles, and a couple other dishes, TBH I don't recall as they were not that memorable. The Crawfish though, was exceptionally bland. Like there was no flavor to it, we got the house special sauce with it. Honestly, majority of the reason for this low review is the Crawfish. They were huge but lack flavor. The rest of the dishes weren't bad but nothing amazing. Went here for Christmas lunch and wanted to try it out, total was really high but that's expected of seafood places. The oysters were not large, overall everything is alright.

Yelp
This is my 2nd time here at ocean crawfish. And the food were delicious. The reason why i give it a 3 stars is because some of the employers were just standing there talking , staring & laughing at my table. Its unacceptable!

Yelp
We were a party of eight. Service was great. All our food tastes good. Nothing exceptional but good enough. However, when ee order a second serving of "so huyet", the dish wasn't made with the same quality as the first. The second dish of so huyet tasted like they were boiled with premade sauce thrown on top.

Yelp
Happy to have found this place!! There's pop music with great vibes here. I felt like it's a great place to being a group of friends. The service was okay, could be fixed. There's inside and outside seating, plenty of parking. It was semi packed when I arrived around 8pm on Saturday. We ordered the following: Clams in ginger sauce Snails in coconut Baked scallops Fresh shrimp in garlic butter Cockels Tamarind crab Thai hot pot Everything was great aside from the cockels and the baked scallops. Cockels were so large that they were hard to chew. They were also overcooked. Tasted like we were chewing on hubba bubba. Nonstop chew. The scallops were very over cooked. Nice flavor, but nothing wowed me here. I like the broth for the clams, it was light but flavorful. The snails were great. Pro tip: suck from the small side. Big side is harder for you to get those babies out. You are so welcome! Coconut broth was delicious. Gave such richness to the dish along with the herbs. The shrimp were good but the server gave us a lb and not 2 like we ordered. Keep an eye out. Garlic butter was mild, but the shrimp were fresh so it made the sauce delicious. The tamarind crab was my favorite. This took about an hour to come out. I'm sure that our server forgot about this because when I had asked 20 min out he was running around and 40 min I asked again he said it was coming and finally it came out. I like how it was nicely fried with the flavors of sweet and sourness. Get this!! The hot pot was so cute. I liked how you can put all your vegetables or protein in as you like but it's on the pot basically. Cute presentation. The soup was strong, but I liked it. Overall, I had a great time here. Micheladas are surprisingly tasty. For a group of 5 i think it was under $200 which was extremely low for all this seafood and alcohol. If service improves and a couple items were not overcooked, this place could get 4.5 from me

Yelp
Table for 6 they only gave one (1) menu REALLY...order some garlic butter wings got plain wings with a dash of melted butter. Also order some lemon pepper wings got plain wings with a hint of lemon pepper. Rest of the food was bland no flavor at all seems like the kitchen was rushing everything.
