"Ocean One Bar and Grille is by no means the best restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip, but it’s probably the cheapest. The value restaurant inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood routinely has a wait list due to its all-day cheap offerings and wallet-friendly drink specials. On Friday, September 20, the budget hot spot abruptly closed — but it resumed operations on Saturday, September 21. At the time of publication, Ocean One had been removed from the Miracle Mile website. A mall employee who was not authorized to speak publicly confirmed that its last day of operation was Thursday, September 19 and it would remain closed until further notice. A representative from the Miracle Mile Shops stated that Ocean One is again open as of Saturday. And the restaurant posted on its Facebook page that it would again be operational starting at 7 p.m. — a welcome relief to repeat customers. Every lunch item at Ocean One is $5.99. That includes starters of crispy calamari and tuna tartare, sandwiches like chicken clubs and Mediterranean wraps, chicken fajitas served with rice and beans, grilled salmon with mashed potatoes, and skirt steak with cabernet sauce. Equally popular is the drink special: three cocktails for $12. On a boulevard where one can easily spend upwards of $18 for a cocktail, the $4 cocktail special is unheard of. And the special includes drinks like margaritas, gimlets, and tequila sunrises with name-brand liquor like Ketel One, Jack Daniels, and Bacardi. Dinner options run from $6.99 for a burger up to around $28 for surf and turf. But that drink special is available all day, every day — from 7:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. or midnight." - Janna Karel

All lunch menu items are priced at $5.99, with dozens of options that include asada tacos, tuna tartare, Buffalo chicken wraps, and grilled salmon with a lemon herb sauce." - Janna Karel

We were attracted to the $5.99 advertisement that claimed each dish cost only $5.99 and decided to give this place a try. It turned out that the food was quite good and truly each item cost as advertised. We liked the steak and salmon, both dishes were cooked well and were tasty. The fajita was also quite delicious. The Mexican salad was quite big and the vegetables were fresh. The only gripe we had was the chicken cutlet, which was a bit dry. Overall we thought it was value for money. The serving size was quite generous, although they may be a little under sized to the American stomach.

I visited Ocean Bar and Grill after seeing it all over TikTok. The viral videos mentioned $5 meals, but the prices have since gone up—breakfast is now $6.99, and lunch/dinner are $7.99 and $8.99. While the price is still affordable, if you're looking closely at the reviews and not just the cost, the quality of the food isn't great across the board. From what I observed, most of the satisfied customers were ordering Mexican food, so I followed suit. Most of the staff and customers were Mexican, and the in-bus crew as well. It seemed like a safe bet, and we weren't disappointed. I ordered the wet burrito, which was good, but they were out of the Mexican chicken wings—our waiter mentioned they might have been frozen. For two people, our meal came to $21, including the tip, which is a pretty solid deal. If you go, I recommend sticking to the Mexican menu—based on what I saw, I wouldn't risk ordering the American options, as nobody seemed to be getting those. Overall, it's worth a try for a budget-friendly meal, especially if you're craving Mexican food.

Tasty, competitive prices, friendly, clean and sporty. $7-20 a person✅ I had a decent experience here. The service was quick and eager to help. Food came out quickly, and we were given water without request. THE FOOD: the food was terrific! Excellent portions and CPD. The steak is cooked perfectly. Biscuits are chewy and filling. Egg burritos are big and perfectly cooked. Potatoes are perfect and filling. Eggs are perfect and juicy. The waters weren't that good, but you could always order a drink The atmosphere is very sporty, modern, and elegant. Quite perfect music and decor that allows parties to talk while still filling voids. The service: quite simple but effective. They gave us water to start and served our food in black gloves. They are professional but do not have much personality. They did not talk much which allowed for misunderstandings to occur which also led to their mistakes. Please be human TO IMPROVE: I believe more kindness and personality could form better brand loyalty and enhance the experience. It is sometimes off-putting if employees don't embrace any personality

It’s the best diner here in Vegas and the prices are extremely cheap. Everyone should eat here at least once especially those who are in a tight budget. The staff are very fast and efficient. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Vegas!

This restaurant had a five star rating in the bag until our last visit. We ate here based on a recommendation from our Uber driver and he was spot on... for the most part. Our first visit was for dinner. The filet was delish and our friends said the chicken parmigiana was good, too. Can't beat the prices for sure, the food came very quickly and their standing drink special is excellent. The second visit was for breakfast the next morning. Again, good food at prices you can stomach. The third time, though, was for lunch the same day. The food was OK but the service was horrific. Our waitress had idea what good customer service means. She was rude, not friendly at all and was absent most of the time we were there. Service was not superb any of the three visits but the terrible service we received dropped this rating in a huge way.

Very solid place for food on a budget! It was our first time here and we were very impressed! There was a line at their door, but we only had to wait for 5-7 mins before they let the entire line in (good system!). Our waitress was very friendly and she even recommended good desserts and dishes. I like their crispy calamari. The pasta dish was very good! The burrito was also very good. Their desserts were delicious but can be a bit too sweet for some people. We didn’t have to wait for long to get our food and drink. Their pricing cannot be beaten. Overall I recommend this restaurant! It’s within Planet Hollywood so you can go shopping and walk around first before getting your food. The only thing is their restroom was not that clean, but you can use Planet Hollywood’s public restroom instead as well. I would love to go back here the next time we are in Vegas.

We went during the $5.99 special. The food was cheap but was not even worth the special price. Just bad. My husband said he was vegetarian but they still put chicken in his pasta. They refunded us half of the meal even though we ordered 4 items and only ate 1. The chicken wings were good. The nachos were terrible. The flautas were crunchy and flavorless. The waitress was helpful but we still do not reccomend unless you are really balling on the budget and have no other options. Fast food is better than this.

Great pasta dinner for only about $15, lots of chicken! Most restaurants on the strip suck for their high prices. This restaurant is a bit of a walk from the street at the back of a mall, but it’s worth it. Well done!
