Came here for Dine LA restaurant week Shon was our server. He was fantastic! Kind, upbeat and bubbly. He explained the menu really well and gave us some options. The restaurant is beautiful, low lighting and a perfect place to take a date or have a business meeting. We opted for the calamari starter and the French onion soup they were both delicious. For the main they allowed us to share the filet and the sea bass both were phenomenal. The steak was cooked perfectly. For desert we shared the carrot cake and the butter cake. The butter cake was our favorite!! Highly recommend coming here!

My husband made reservations for my birthday and I love seafood, so I was very excited to go. The food was great, but the service was mediocre 😕 I was looking for the icing on the cake for my birthday, but it was a bit dull.

Google
The service was slow and unattended, and the food was good but not great. I had the Taste of LA menu option with salad, entrée, and dessert. The French onion soup I had was salty but flavorful. The salads were basic but also good . The Sea Bass was hot, but the flavor missed being delicious, but it was acceptable. The famous butter cake was good, but the tiny scoup of vanilla ice cream on top was better used to moisten the hard round biscuit of butter cake than eat it as a flavor. Throughout all of this was a very inattentive waiting staff. We had to ask for everything like water, more water, salt and pepper, sauce for the sushi appetizers (fishy and not that great), asked to pay for more bread but they ran out of their famous sour dough. My family had made a reservation for my birthday, and we waited 20 minutes past our reservation time to sit, and another 20 minutes before they came to take our drink order. Maybe you'll get a better experience, maybe I was looking forward to this meal too much and had expectations, but this place let me down in a lot of little ways. The highlight was the alcohol and I found my one drink, my old fashion to be very well mixed. My wife's house red was very delicious. The restaurant has a lovely outside area, however you must be prepared for a series of sirens from police, ambulance, and fire vehicles at least 3 times an hour while dining outside. We were surprised seeing so many little children at the restaurant, along with lots of people in sweats and very casual clothes that diminished the ambiance. Overall the experience outside was pleasant because the heater kept everyone warm, and the pillows were nice.

This is my favorite place to come celebrate my birthday. The staff is wonderful the food is consistently delicious and the desserts are yum. Will continue to come back here because they never disappoint.

Google
Love this place! The place is a vibe and the staff is attentive and nice. Got there pretty early. We didn't have a reservation so we sat the lounge area. It's was still Happy hour. There was a $10 drink menu do I had the Black Orchid. It was delicious!! I got the ahi tuna and it was prepared perfectly. The creamed spinach was good also. I highly recommend. My friends both got the steak and it was definitely to their liking. Their sides were the twice baked potato and jalapeno a Potatoes. Seasoned nicely.

Google
First time in Beverly Hills, and this restaurant was the best! I love their staff. They were really courteous, professional and gave us the best service. I love the food! Specially the blackened salmon salad. My husband enjoy his Blackened Snapper that he said be was speechless. We really had a great time here.

Google
Our second visit to this location and we thoroughly enjoyed it again. Happened to be during Dine LA restaurant week so we benefited from an amazing value for the 8oz Filet, salad, and their famous butter cake desert. The lobster linguine was the second entree. Everything was prepared to perfection and service was impeccable. Fine dining at its best.

Yelp
After picking up a few items nearby, my husband and I found ourselves quite hungry. We decided to stop by this restaurant on a Saturday night and were pleasantly surprised to only wait about five minutes for a table. The ambiance was perfect--trendy yet cozy, striking the right balance without feeling like a lounge, and the music was at an enjoyable volume. We were impressed with the drinks; they were incredibly fresh and expertly crafted, so much so that we each ordered a second round. As for the food, it exceeded our expectations. The calamari was exceptional, probably the best we've ever had, bursting with flavor. The lobster linguine was a delightful surprise, packed with generous chunks of lump claw meat that added to the richness of the dish. My husband's ribeye was tender and cooked to perfection. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend this place. While some reviewers mentioned issues with service, we were fortunate to be well taken care of by our server, which only added to our enjoyment of the evening.

Yelp
Whew, where do I even start? Went here for a friend's birthday, expecting a five-star experience in Beverly Hills. What we got instead? A disaster. This was not my first time here but def my last. They did not show up how they use too. The food was HORRIBLE. Capital H, bold, italicized, and underlined. And the service? Let's just say I'm pretty sure they were short staffed and had to call the cook out of the bed to come make our meal. No, seriously. We waited so long I feel like we were just sitting there while he/she drove from home, parked, clocked in, and then finally got to work. Now, I get it, we were a big party of 14. But let me be clear, NO ONE ELSE WAS THERE BUT US!!! On a Friday night. In the middle of Beverly Hills. That should've been the first red flag My partner ordered a ribeye it came out cold the first time. Flavor was decent, but last I checked, steak isn't supposed to be served room temp. I got the "Ocean Sushi," which tasted like something I could've grabbed at my favorite happy hour spot for way less money! And honestly? It probably would've been better. The wedge salad was the only thing that was actually good, but let's be real, it's a wedge salad. But the real MVP of the night... The brisket. My friend ordered the seared scallops with brisket, and when I tell you that brisket was so hard you could knock on it like a front door LMAO, I'm not exaggerating. She literally tapped it with her fork, and it made a sound. We joked that if she threw it at the window, the window would've shattered. They did take it back and remake it, but at that point, the damage was done. Both to the meal and to our entire experience. To top it off, I never even got my second drink. After two hours, I just gave up. Long story short, I wouldn't go back here. It's not worth the $2100 we spent! Ocean Prime Beverly Hills? More like Ocean Past Its Prime. If this place is still open in six months, I'll be shocked!!! Hanging on by a thread to stay open.

Yelp
Tonight Had Dinner @ Ocean Prime in Beverly Hills... Crab-Cake was delicious .. Lobster-Mac & Cheese was excellent! Ribeye steak was tough .. A bit disappointing... But Our waitress .. Adrianna was tops...Atmosphere had a cool vibe... Thank-You Ocean Prime for dinner...

Jasmine D.

Yelp
My best friend took me here for a birthday dinner, and I absolutely love Ocean Prime! I've been here several times, but this time I decided to try something new. We shared an appetizer - a surf and turf combo with short rib and scallops, and it was a must-try! 10/10. I usually order their bubbly drink, but I wanted to switch things up. The waiter recommended a drink that turned out to be the best one I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. She mentioned that it has a taste similar to a lychee martini, and if you like sweet drinks, I highly recommend it. The lamb chops were incredibly tasty too.

Yelp
Food is not bad, but the service sucks, you have to have both! thats a big part of the reason people go out to spend their hard earned money, to have a good time! I wish I could say I did but unfortunately I was rushed several times during eating, I was asked if they can remove my plate or box up my food even though the plate was full, I understand asking once but 5 times within 15 minutes??? I didn't feel welcome at all and just decided to ask for the check, funny thing is my so called server was no where to be found and delayed about 20 minutes to even come back with my credit card, I wont return thats for sure. There is tons of other great restaurants in the area! Wine glass $33 Valet that doesn't receive you well and your $20 only covers 2 hours and its an additional $3 every 12 minutes after

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a Thursday night with a group. Ambiance is elegabt and classy. The bar area is beautiful and separate from the main dining room. We had a curated menu for the event. The calamari starter was very good. Loved the sweet chili flavor. I also enjoyed the house salad. It comes with walnuts and goat cheese, and the sherry mustard vinegarette was tangy without being overpowering. The filet mignon entree was decent, but kind of forgettable. I was expecting to love it, but found that it was just okay. For dessert, I got the strawberry sorbet with an almond cookie, and I thought it was delightful. Street parking was hard to come by, and it was difficult to find the valet. So that was frustrating early on. Luckily the food helped me forget about that. Overall, I had a good experience and would come back again!

Yelp
Definitely don't miss the chance to dine during their Dine in LA menu--great deal! It was our second time dining at this location (been to their Las Vegas location which is also stellar). Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. The highlights was the filet mignon (tender and thick), Chilean sea bass (soft and flaky), fried calamari (portion size is smaller compared to 2 years ago but understandable due to inflation), and the salmon (cooked to perfection, paired well with the bed of sticky rice and vegetables). Of course, ended the meal with the butter cake and carrot cake---not toothache sweet but subtle, which met our sweetness level. Service was good (not pushy, which was great) water always filled and plates take away quickly. Manager came out to check on all of us which was a nice touch.

Michelle J.

Yelp
Come here all of the time for happy hour and their cocktails are top notch, but tried dinner for the first time with friends. First of all, great service. As for the food... The 8 oz prime filet was PERFECTION. Medium rare is the way to go, we tried our 3 filet steaks 3 ways - rare, medium rare and medium. Rare was too chewy, medium rare is PERFECT and medium is a tad bit more well done but not as buttery soft. We also tried the sea bass. It was so soft and perfectly flaky. Butter cake is a big winner and the carrot cake it great for a lighter option. MUST ORDER THE ESPRESSO MARTINI - the best in town.

Kisha L.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to go. They always have great specials and the food is always hot fresh and flavorful. The service is always superb and the atmosphere is nice. I am a regular so I always go especially for lunch.

Cynthia B.

Yelp
This restaurant is located on Canon across from Equinox. Valet parking available for $20 at lunch time. Metered parking around is only one hour. We came here to celebrate a birthday and it was really nice and casual. Our server was sweet. We all ordered the price fixed lunch special $35 and you pick a salad and an entree and comes with a chocolate chip cookie. I got the house salad which was tasty and the teriyaki salmon that was perfectly cooked and so delicious! We also got the butter cake to wish a happy birthday and it was divine!!! Pleasant experience.

Yelp
Ocean Prime DineLA Take 2! And Action!! A bit of a wait to get seated but once seated the experience was seamless! Our waiter was awesome. So positive, wonderful and attentive! Scene: Outside Patio. It's picture perfect especially on a nice summer day. I love the comfy booths. Dined here last October for DineLA. This time around, the DineLA menu was just as good, if not better, than the first time. $35 for lunch, a good deal! Don't know if it was a coincidence or someone took my prior Yelp review seriously but they added the Teriyaki Salmon as an entree choice in place of the entree salmon salad they had last time I visited for DineLA. Since I can't eat the meat or shellfish and thus, had to go with the salad as my appetizer, I was excited that the main dish was something different than another salad. The Teriyaki Salmon is a very delicious dish. It came with Shitake sticky rice and soy butter sauce. The fish was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. Such a great revision to the DineLA menu. The rest of the menu was pretty similar to the last time I did DineLA here . For my appetizer I got the house salad which had romaine and field greens, Granny Smith apples, goat cheese, walnuts, and a Sherry Mustard vinaigrette. So refreshing! The dessert for DineLA was a chocolate chip cookie but since we were also celebrating a birthday they gave us our choice of birthday dessert along with the cookie. We picked the creme brulee. The waiter said it is the best one he's ever tried. It was really good. It came with a chocolate "happy birthday" candy and a candle. Such a nice gesture for our celebration. Highly suggest this place for celebrating a birthday! Overall, just an all around wonderful experience! Parking can be tricky. Metered parking on the street. Valet parking. The End.

Yelp
After giving Ocean Prime a second chance, I can confidently say it's not worth the hype--or the price. My first visit was disappointing due to both service and food, and while the service was friendlier this time, the experience still fell short. Our server was kind but made several mistakes, including forgetting our calamari, which arrived late, and we had to send back one of the filets because it wasn't cooked properly. Most of the steaks at our table were underwhelming, and my Wagyu Manhattan was tough and felt like it had been rushed to a mediocre medium-rare. The sides were decent, and cocktails were fine, but at a steakhouse of this caliber, the steak should be the star--and it just wasn't. For a place with this reputation and price point, consistency should be a given. After two visits with similar issues, I don't think I'd come back.

Hashim Q.

Yelp
Corporate steakhouses are pretty much the same no matter what they're called. Steaks that are a little too expensive and some random seafood options. Ocean Prime is exactly that. If you stick to the steaks you should be fine. I got mine Parmesan encrusted and enjoyed it. Not bad but you can do better in Beverly Hills.

Sean Z.

Yelp
In the heart of Beverly Hills. This establishment has a full bar and separated dining area. The public paid parking can be found within a couple blocks. The service very good, the waiters were attentive thrthroughout the entire visit. The food was served within timely manner and the different entres were definitely scrumptious. Best juicy chicken, beef, and sweet oysters I have ever had. The building seemed to be undergoing some renovation but the whole establishment felt clean and safe. Overall, it's a 4.9 out of 5. Kudos to the staff and management.

Yelp
Yelp Review for Ocean Prime - Birthday Dinner Disaster I had my birthday dinner at Ocean Prime last night, and honestly, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. My party had an 8 PM reservation, yet we weren't seated until 9 PM--a full hour later. No updates, no apologies, just left waiting. Once we finally got to dine, things only got worse. We were not informed upfront that split checks were not allowed, which is a crucial detail for a large group. Then, the way the receipt was itemized did not match the DineLA menu pricing, and we were overcharged. To top it all off, the waitress never mentioned that dessert wasn't included in the menu, so when we declined because we had already brought a birthday cake, we assumed that was that. But no--they still brought out dessert to everyone else and charged us for it without asking. That's unacceptable. We are all food influencers and dine at high-end restaurants frequently, and this experience was beyond disappointing. From the lack of communication to the poor service and misleading charges, Ocean Prime failed on every level. Would we ever return? Absolutely not.

Yelp
So in love with this place. The food was outstanding! I had the Jumbo Crab Cake, truffle Mac n cheese and the 10 oz steak over the potatoes. To drink I had the BERRIES & BUBBLES Belvedere Organic Lemon & Basil Vodka, Marinated Blackberries, Fresh Lemon Juice, Piper Sonoma Brut, Dry Ice Smoke. If you try it you may never want anything else. I grabbed my co-workers glass and his YUZU SOUR Toki Japanese Whisky, Fresh Lemon & Yuzu Juice, Yuzu Foam was delectable. To end it all was the Buttercake topped with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. This was a huge group dinner and we went crazy with the meal but the entire experience was delicious

Yelp
Best Restaurant in the World...Hands Down Ocean Prime is the best restaurant I have ever been to! I love this restaurant. If you're looking for the best food in the world, and impeccable and flawless service, look no further. You've found the right place. Ocean Prime Beverly Hills reminds me of white glove service: premium, high quality personalized level of service that always goes above and beyond, extra care and attention, involving a lot of care about small details, meticulous, providing customers with a premium experience...are all words that describe Ocean Prime. Ocean Prime serves only the finest. The food is absolutely sublime. We love the Chilean Sea Bass, the steaks (if they have Texas Ribeye Bone In, that's the best steak I've ever had in my life), love the crab cakes, calamari, and the chocolate ganache cake (that's the best cake I've ever had). Everything is cooked to perfection. An impeccable and flawless experience! We love Ocean Prime Beverly Hills!! We always have an amazing experience!! Thank you Ocean Prime!! Always very memorable...

Yelp
I've been here a few times since my last review and serving, and the food is still just as great! Let's start with the essential aspect: the customer was top-notch, from the hostess team to our server and the busboy Parker and Brady, who were very kind and gave great recommendations. They have a lunch special, but I did a La carte items since I've always come for dinner. Let's start off with the bread. It was so good. Seriously top 5 of the best bread in LA. My friend and I tried a few sushi dishes; the Negiri was terrific, and the sushi had caviar. The surf and turf are a must, and the teriyaki salmon, both 10/10! My favorite cocktail, the berries, and bubbles, also have an excellent presentation but taste good! I came on a sunny day. You can sit inside or outside; they have plenty of tables with shade if you're coming on a hot day. The manager, Yuri, also stopped by the tables to check on us. For dessert, I highly recommend trying the layered carrot cake. Writing this review, I'm craving it! Plan to be back soon!

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Anytime I have a fresh, Seafood Tower in front of me, you know it's going to be a great meal! This is the best meal I've had in a while, and ocean prime definitely blew us away! We were so impressed by the food, atmosphere and service, and definitely recommend stopping by here for a fancy night out! We got their: Steaming Shellfish Tower with oysters, crab, lobster and shrimp Prime Steak Tartare Chilean Sea Bass Special 6oz Australian Wagyu Warm Butter Cake We basically got everything our server Tiago recommended and he was the best! Everything on the Shellfish Tower was so fresh and flavorful, and I love how they give you a warm side of butter with a candle underneath it. The Steak Tartare was delicious, and the sides we got paired perfectly with our entrees. The Sea Bass is MUST get, since it's so flaky and the flavors of the dish really come together in one bite. We knew the Wagyu would be great, and the tenderness and flavor really came through. I'm so glad we had room for dessert, since the warm Butter Cake really put our meal over the top. From the drinks, food, service, and ambiance, I highly recommend making a reservation at @oceanprime to treat yourself to great night out! This spot makes for the perfect date night and they have so many dishes to choose from, so I'm sure there will be something delicious that catches your eye!

Daniel S.

Yelp
Everything we ordered tasted great. We had the rib-eye, filet mignon, scallops, and sea bass, The service wasn't the best but I attribute that to the fact that we were in a private room in the back. But i would definitely come back here for a nice steak dinner if I am in the area again.

Zan L.

Yelp
I have been to other Ocean Prime locations and had a great meal during each of those visits, but I would say this Beverly Hills location is probably my favorite overall. The flavors were as great as I remembered and I just loved how upscale and well done the specific location is. Erik, our server, was absolutely fantastic and really made the meal a better one. Inside is especially large, open, and kept dark which is really nice because it felt like your conversation was more private. They really space out the tables so it didn't feel like everyone was overlapping each other in terms of conversations. They don't have a parking lot and street parking is quite hard to find in this part of town so your best option will be their valet for $15 or a nearby parking garage for $10. One of my favorite things about Ocean Prime is their large and diverse menu. There is something for everyone here. I started off with the Lobster Bisque because it's one of my favorite bisques that I have had at any restaurant. This one was as good as all the others. Next I followed up with the Steak Tartare, and it was fantastic. The soft crostini was a great vehicle for the tartare. For my entrée, I chose the Chilean Seabass and although I wish that portion of fish was a bit larger, it still was delicious. I especially liked the truffle vinaigrette on top. I was going to do the Warm Butter Cake that I've had in the past, but at this point in the meal I was just too full. Overall a fantastic seafood and contemporary American restaurant in a beautiful part of town. It is a bit expensive, but it's certainly worth it. I would recommend to anyone for any occasion.

LORENA L.

Yelp
Was here over the weekend for a client holiday event. The room was beautifully decorated which was perfect to get me in the holiday spirit since I've had no spirit of any kind lately. The service was impeccable, the appetizers were flowing like water and everything that was brought out was so good. My steak was cooked to perfection and the peanut butter pie was soooo good. In fact, all of the dishes looked amazing and everyone loved what they ordered. The drinks looked good too but since this was client event, I didn't drink. Traffic/valet was a pain but expect that on a weekend night in Beverly Hills. I won a prize in the drawing which was very unexpected and nice. I would definitely come back again especially since my prize was a very generous gift card for Ocean Prime!

Kelly L.

Yelp
My partner took me to a surprise dinner here for our 2 year anniversary. We made a reservation on a Sunday night. It was not busy at all, and we were seated right away. The restaurant is massive and beautiful. When you walk towards the entrance, the left side is a bar and the right side is the restaurant. There is indoor and outdoor patio seating. We decided to sit outside since it was a beautiful night. Our waitress was wonderful. She was kind, patient, and checked in with us often. For drinks, we ordered the Berries & Bubbles. If you like more sweet/fruity drinks, you NEED to order this. It was amazing to see the dry ice smoke coming out of the drink. It helped make our experience very unique and special. For food, we ordered the Surf N Turf, Chilean Sea Bass, and Lobster Linguine. We wanted to share to try everything so the waitress kindly offered to split the entrees to 2 plates with no hesitation which was very nice! Everything tasted PERFECT. The scallops and sea bass melted in our mouth. We were extremely full and satisfied by the end of the night. I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially for a romantic special date night. The ambience of the restaurant, attentiveness of the wait staff, and quality of food exceeded our expectations. Parking: We easily found street parking nearby!

Gabriel R.

Yelp
Yes indeed This has shot up to one o& my top "revisit" places to dine. The ravioli appetizer are beyond amazing. Third time that we came we brought a friend and she concurred. Even though I general will order a rib eye when I dine at a steak house,, here I love their blackened snapper. Such flavor and so well prepared If you're seated outside you can people watch Wiltshire Blvd or the side street. Inside is my preference with classic decor and I noticed at least two larger room used for groups. This such a nice classy restaurant and they have never failed to provide excellent as well as excellent service. Every time I am here I order the Berries and Bubbles cocktail. My better half orders the same, but non alcoholic. Both are smooth.

Aimes O.

Yelp
My husband took me here on a date for my birthday dinner! Ocean Prime is one of my favorite restaurants as I used to frequent it a lot back home in Dallas. Our waiter, Michel I believe, was amazing the entire time we were there. We devoured just about everything because it was served to perfection. From the Lobster bisque to the creamy spinach... we enjoyed everything. I had a ribeye cooked medium plus and *chef's kiss!* Will be back!

Glydia C.

Yelp
The place has great vibes. Very classy feel. The food was decent enough. Good place for a date. The restaurant wasn't full on a Saturday night, it feels kind of hidden away.

Jordynn B.

Yelp
Succulent and fulfilling meals. Order the stuffed chicken, hands-down, the best thing on the menu! They have valet, which makes it super easy to drive up. The waiters and waitresses are top-notch, they are super professional. Quality over quality here and exterior design is beautiful I choose to sit in their outdoor dining area. It gives it an exquisite dining experience and flower, which Ilove. Valet about $20

Stephanie B.

Yelp
I came to Ocean Prime for a holiday party hosted by a colleague. We were seated in a small, separate dining room. It was very elegant with lots of dark colors and gold. The service was always friendly and generally attentive. The wine list is pretty pricey. Luckily, I was being hosted and the host's family was recommending some NICE wine. There are also some hidden gems - check out Domaine Drouhin Pinot Noir 2019. Because it was a group, there was fixed menu. I was disappointed to not make my own choices but the food was delicious! We started with family style appetizers of mushroom ravioli (pretty standard - not remarkable), calamari (delicious and well prepared) and crab cakes (OUTSTANDING). There was plenty for all. I could have stopped here. Next up, we had Caesar salad or lobster bisque. My companion and I each ordered one so we could try both. The Caesar was a solid classic - well prepared. The bisque itself was a standard classic but the HUGE hunks of lobster impressed. Then the bread basket was delivered - almost as a course. A little weird as it was pulled before dinner. For dinner, I had a rare-ish filet with lobster tail on chili spinach and asked that they hold the potato. I was disappointed that they did not up the spinach when there was no potato, but it was banquet style. The lobster was okay - a bit overcooked and definitely needed the butter. On the other hand, the steak was delicious! For dessert, I had champagne sorbet, which was lovely and refreshing. All in all, it was an enjoyable meal and I would come again. Best ever? No. Delicious? Yes.

Maame Efua S.

Yelp
Went there for the first time to celebrate my husband's birthday. The waiter was kind enough to remind us that it was restaurant week and they had the dine-la menu available, which is what we ended up choosing from (no brainer there). Our meals were delicious and we finished everything on our plates with each course. My husband enjoyed his filet mignon and calamari, while I got the lobster bisque (could have been better) and sea bass filet. Will go back soon to try other things on the menu

Brooke M.

Yelp
I always forget about this place when I head to Beverly Hills but what a great place! The service was lovely as well as the ambiance. They were playing great music on the outside patio. The various things we ordered were a few of the tuna sushi rolls which were delicious! The onion soup, tuna and steak tartare, wedge salad, and the teriyaki salmon without the sauce on a bed of broccoli. Everything was well presented and very tasty! Very great vibe and place. Many different thing and variety to choose from on the menu given your taste and mood for the day.

AJ T.

Yelp
I had a lunch meeting here for a business group. The business part was unfortunately lack luster. But the food? The 3-course lunch special was amazing! Totally affordable, and a high quality steak. Absolutely recommended.

Esmeralda C.

Yelp
I ordered dinner for 3 all for me! The food was to die for and the night was one I will never forget.

Pedro S.

Yelp
If carrot cake is what you're after, look no further than Ocean Prime. They have a 10 layer cake with real whipped cream and a pineapple syrup. It's special. The picture on their site is a bit misleading--it shows it very heavy on the cream cheese frosting. The actual cake isn't. It's just right on the frosting. However, this dessert is for 2 people because the cake is dense. It's also not heavy on nuts carrots or raisins, like some others. This is the one. Order from here because of the carrot cake. I did.

Beverly G.

Yelp
The food was delicious I had Cesar salad lobster tail and calamari everything was made to perfection the waiters were awesome service was great luv this place I will be back again thank you

Tadeo A.

Yelp
World Class service indicative of the upper echelon of cuisine you would hope to experience in Beverly Hills. Ariel always is extremely energetic, kind, and offers incredible suggestions to ensure a delicious dining experience. Furthermore, the ambience and quality of food are stellar and unrivaled. Thankful to have Ocean Prime as a weekly excursion to Michelin level restaurant quality.

Yelp
Delicious and chic location to grab brunch, dinner, or drinks. We came here to celebrate my friend's graduation and we had a lovely experience. We requested outside seating in a beautiful area with patio heaters. We started out with the berries and bubbles-- I highly recommend it as a refreshing, fun drink. Our server was kind and knowledgeable and explained the menu to us. Everything was delicious and just like I had hoped. Don't forget the dessert and be sure to share, as they come in large portions.

Yelp
Came here with a reservation on a Friday night at 8pm. Although a reservation probably wasn't needed because the restaurant was empty. The hostess seating us didn't greet us and just made a beeline toward the dining room as we followed behind. We were seated in the corner by the loud kitchen. It would've been nice to be seated at a quieter table since the restaurant was basically empty but oh well. For appetizers, we got the Caesar salad and the tuna tartare. The salad was lackluster. I've had better Caesar salads from a salad kit at a grocery store. The tuna tartare tasted like it came from a low tier chain restaurant, and was covered in a sickly sweet sauce. I barely tasted the tuna. For the entree, I got the filet mignon. It came medium rare, as requested, and was seasoned decently. It was good, but maybe needed a touch more of salt. My boyfriend got the ribeye and he said it was okay. Don't bother getting the truffle butter with your steak. It was $11 extra and there was zero truffle flavor. The truffle fries were better and had a little more truffle flavor, but not much. For dessert, we got the butter cake. It was way too dense and way too sweet. The only thing I was blown away with was their black orchid cocktail. For the price, I would expect better. Most of the dishes were subpar. I would say go to many of the other steakhouses at a similar price point, like Boa.

Yelp
I came here for a company dinner on a Thursday night and besides company-paid events, there didn't seem to be many other diners here. Perhaps it's livelier during the weekends. Parking is tricky around here, they have valet parking or you can try your luck at finding street parking. The entrance to the restaurant is impressive. They have a separate area on the right with a bar and that looked livelier than the main dining area. The host there wasn't very friendly and main servers also seemed annoyed when I had asked to change my dessert selection. For the price of the dishes here, I expected the service to be exceptional but that wasn't really the case. I'm not in BH often so maybe this is the norm. The food was really good but I feel like I can find similar quality at lower price points elsewhere. You're also paying for the location, ambiance, and clout, I suppose. - Fried calamari: This had an Asian flair to it, made with sliced green onions and Thai chili sauce. Well battered and fried. - Filet Mignon: medium rare was perfectly cooked and the meat was so tender! However, I thought it could've been seasoned a little more. - Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie: This thing was amazing! Imagine a Girl Scout Tagalong cookie in Cake form, and you have this. The peanut butter mousse was so decadent and luxurious. I'm so happy I switched from the Sorbet. - Sorbet: Green Apple flavored sorbet, threw me for a spin. It was just okay. Overall, this would be a nice spot to have a nice date or fancy dinner, but hopefully the service I got during the large group dinner isn't indicative of the overall service here.

Yelp
Another excellent dining experience at Ocean Prime. Visited with family for a birthday celebration. I'm very selective when it comes to eating sushi. The sushi here was delicious and I plan to try the other options. Consistent good food and customer service. Also, on Thursdays there's live music. The lounge and outdoor patio are a good option for happy hour.

Yelp
Came in for work dinner. They placed us in a nice conference room. They had multiple of these. The food came in on time and tasted good. Mine was cold at first but they warmed it up, which is understandable when you have 20steaks to make. The filet was tasty and so were the calamari appetizers and bread. Would return again for next event.

Yelp
This restaurant is a nice fancy steakhouse. It has an upscale classy modern vibe. Food was hit and miss. We ordered calamari and salad for appetizers. The calamari was soggy and too sweet, soaked in a sweet and sour sauce. For entrees, we ordered filet mignon and sea bass. They were both flavorful, tender and cooked perfectly, but the steak was too spicy from all the peppercorn sauce they glazed on top. Dessert, we had carrot cake and chocolate cake. The carrot cake was too sweet but chocolate cake was delicious. We ordered 4 different cocktail drinks and they were all extremely sweet. Overall, they need to dial back on the sweetness and over-drenching of sauces. Portions were good and price was expensive, which is expected of steakhouses. Service was great. Our waitress was really friendly and attentive. She really worked hard to get our orders out on time while also staffing other tables. And when we got to talking more, she revealed how she was going through chemo treatment for her cancer while juggling multiple jobs to make ends meet. And she did this all with a smile. I was amazed and blessed to have such a great waitress.

Yelp
Ok.....Wilshire blvd has great steak places...don't get me wrong. But when the manager SAM....greets you and remembers your attendance wow! A steak is good but comfort, recognition is another . Now at the table the sweet EDWIN.....did everything to make my husband and my Sunday dinner nothing but perfect! Listen good food is good food....but feeling comfortable and at home at such an establishment is the topping on the cake! THANK YOU MEN.

Yelp
Ocean Prime never disappoints! This was a special birthday celebration and he enjoyed every moment! The Seabass was excellent, the steak were all very tasty...the Waygu steaks are delicious! They make the best crab-cakes in Los Angeles! The drinks are delicious and always are nicely presented. The wait staff are super friendly and are deserving of a big tip especially with large parties. Ocean Prime is a must try if you have not had the opportunity to experience this Beverly Hills gem! The ambience is amazing and classy

Yelp
The ambiance and the food was nicely prepared and delicious. The service was pretty good too however when someone in our party asked our server if one of the entrees was better than Lawrys, our server answered "I don't know I don't go around tasting foods at other places". He said it a bit sarcastically. A better response could have been said like "Ours is the best". I'll still go back. Oyes the Vodka Martini was perfect that I had in the bar area waiting for my party to arrive.
