Ocean Prime

We had an incredible lunch at Ocean Prime to celebrate a big win with our amazing sales rep, Rob! The atmosphere was upscale and energetic—the place was packed (pro tip: make a reservation). We started with the Seafood Tower, and it did not disappoint—lobster tail, oysters, crab meat, and shrimp, all fresh and perfectly chilled. We also shared a few sushi rolls, including a spicy tuna that was flavorful and fresh. Our server Shane was phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations throughout the meal. For dessert, we enjoyed a crème brûlée and a peanut butter chocolate torte—both absolutely delicious. Next time, we’ve got our eyes on the Chilean Sea Bass, Prime NY Strip, and Truffle Mac & Cheese—we’ll definitely be back! Dream Home Innovations approved!

My daughter took me and entire family here. She made a 7pm appointment and they let us in 15 min later. The place is nice and well decorated. The servers were nice, but I have a complain to 1 of the lead server, I feel like he was not too friendly, but maybe he was tired so it was okay. The foods are good, I love the lobster tail, the scallops and the sea bass. Steak are juicy but the pasta is so so. Overall, it was a nice dinner with family.

Thank you John (GM) for making my birthday lunch memorable. This was my first time there and was impressed when I first walked in. The service and food was amazing, if you find yourself in the DTC area stop in this place. So many options for a lunch menu. I chosen the fish sandwich with the the spicy coleslaw. Never had a fish sandwich that delicious before. I will be coming back soon...

Took my mom there because she was visiting me in CO and I wanted to treat her to an early Mother's Day dinner. The food was exceptional and our waiter Shane was knowledgeable and very personable. Big shout out to the assistant server Valerie. She was very attentive and made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. The sea bass was perfection and the lamb was cooked beautifully. My thanks to the whole Ocean Prime staff for helping me make my mom's trip more memorable. I definitely will be back.

Excellent service in every way from beginning to start. For the food I’ll say this Strak is good but not the best. Sides were excellent. Phenomenal creamed spinach and the Brussels I enjoyed as well. Now the spotlight is there peanut butter chocolate pie, OUTSTANDING one of the best deserts you will every have and I don’t even like peanut butter!!

We visited for the first time on my wife's Birthday, and it won't be our last. What a wonderful experience. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Every dish was amazing. From the bread bowl, tuna tartar, scallops, filet, lobster mac to the carrot cake, every bite was delicious. We will be back soon.

Over all delicious and prices are to be expected. I personally wouldn't get the sushi because you can get the same sushi anywhere for much cheaper and same freshness. The lamb chops were prepared very well. The lobster linguini was tender and seasoned well. The different rooms to be seated in can be a little frustrating as they don't list them anywhere online. Turn over time is quick but reservations are a must. Surprisingly my favorite thing of the night were the black truffle deviled eggs. Such an odd combo but wow what amazing flavor. Attire is business casual. Do not snow up on sweat pants. You can, but it's not the vibe. Most wore blazers and polos. Tonight was valentines so on holidays it's more classy with suits and dresses.

Top quality service. We've been here a few times. This was the first time we came by ourselves. Our waiter was so kind and attentive. He and another guy kept our table clean and free of crumbs, which seems small, but "cleanliness is next to godliness," and we felt pampered. We ordered a second dessert to go. Everything was really good.

Amazing experience and service. Went there to celebrate a high school graduation in our own private room, and was not disappointed. From the beautiful setting and atmosphere, to the excellent service everyone provided, to the yummy food and drinks. It was for sure a great place to celebrate a new beginning for our graduate. Since it was a graduation celebration, the parents of the graduate set a menu from we all could pick and appetizer, a main dish, and a dessert. They had options for meat eater, pescatarian, and even a vegan option. Was very impressed. Definitely recommend for celebrations or just for fun.

We went in for happy hour in the bar and looked forward to hanging out for some delicious cocktails and seafood. Karla was our server. It seemed as though she was completely disinterested in our table. We could never find her when we needed something. We ordered oysters and shrimp. The shrimp looked fantastic. The oysters however were subpar. Karla brought us a side plate with crackers and cocktail sauce. When we finally were able to flag her down to ask for a mignonette sauce, we were told we didn't ask for it. We felt as though we were getting rushed out. She never asked us if we needed more drinks or food. There was no extra effort. We actually left and went to Eddie V's to eat dinner.

Yet another exceptional service by Jenny, love coming here for happy hour. The drinks are by far some of the best in town and the food is always delicious. The music is always chill and relaxing, a mix between house and lounge.

First time at DTC location. Had a great experience. Server was exceptional, great recommendations, well cooked steak paired with a smooth glass of champagne. Make sure you get your steak with the special sauce. To end my experience I was served with the BEST PIECE OF BUTTER CAKE I'VE EVER HAD. Love the ambiance, they decorated the table so cute for my birthday. Can't wait for next time.

Jenny at the bar is a true professional bartender, and it shows. The ambiance is very upscale and classy, like I should have a coat on, but it's not needed. The clients are dressed up, too. I felt comfy in my jeans and flannel. The food, which was on happy hour, was excellent. From the popcorn to lamb lollipops to sushi rolls and sliders..... tasty.

Don't bother booking a reservation, they'll have you waiting 45 minutes in an empty lobby anyways. Food is always good. Servers are good.

This place is perfect. The food was AMAZING. We started off with the crab cakes and calamari and both were just so good. The calamari is to die for. Each of our entrees were perfect, especially the Halibut and Filet's. The sea bass and ribeye were also fantastic, everything was completely on point, flavorful, and juicy. We also got some family sides like the mashed potatoes and au gratin potatoes and even those were just perfect. I can't even describe how good the food is, this review won't do it justice at all. The servers were so polite and so informal. They executed perfectly and all worked together to clear tables & put food back on the table so fast, they all had a good chemistry. The vibes and ambiance were also perfect, we were in the back room where it was quieter and felt so personal and cozy. 10/10 I want to come here once a month. You did your big one, Ocean Prime.

It's Ocean Prime so you know it is going to be pricey and the people watching will be on point. I usually go the cocktail route but opted for a white wine, they all leaned on the sweeter side but I settled on the Sancerre. I will go back to a vodka soda or a martini next visit. The bartender, Jake I believe, was accommodating and personable. I got the app fish tacos, they were tasty and amble but again on the sweeter side. I want less sugar all around but am cognizant that I am in the minority of Americans. The location is great in the Denver Tech area with lots of parking.

Great food, great service, reserve so you get an inside seat. Food here was delicious. They know their land and sea food and how to prepare it with amazing flavor.

During my final night in Denver on a work trip, I celebrated the success of a conference at Ocean Prime Seafood with a friend. The warm greeting from the hostess set the tone as we were promptly seated. We ended up moving from our table to a booth to accommodate a large family that was dining together . The pretzel bread sticks served while perusing the menu were a delightful start. Best I've ever had! Our waiter, both amazing and accommodating, recommended the perfect drink - the Berries and Bubble cocktail - and the Chilean Sea Bass with broccolini, Pearl Onion, Potato Purée, and Truffle Vinaigrette for dinner. My favorite things are (sweet drinks and truffle anything). It was my first time at Ocean Prime, and the recommendations did not disappoint. The cocktail had a delightful hint of smoke with the bubbles, and the truffle vinaigrette elevated the Sea Bass and other items perfectly so it tasted flavorful and not bland. A special touch was the garlic aioli on the side, fulfilling my specific request. Despite the minor inconvenience of moving tables, the overall dining experience was exceptional. The only downside was the close proximity to other diners, creating a bit of noise and occasional feelings of being hovered over, but this did not impact the outstanding service and culinary delights.

Pretty tasty! Was so bummed to hear that our waitress's last night was the night that we came in. Think her name was Emma. The steak and sides were delicious. The crab cake is definitely something I would recommend!

Had a reservation for our anniversary. When we arrived we still had to wait another 10 minutes or so for our table but the host was happy to take a photo for us to commemorate the occasion upon request. The seating was a bit strange- we were on the end in the back near what was maybe a small wait station for water refills. It didn't feel as romantic with someone always beside you at the ready to fill diner's water glasses. I would have preferred they just stop by as needed instead. We both had the filet with shrimp scampi and I got the black truffle butter and truffle fries. The filet was very good but the truffle butter wasn't as exciting as I had hoped. I usually like truffle menu items so I had to try theirs at least once. Everything was made well but nothing really stood out to us except my drink- I believe it was the "Black orchid" with the blackberry Belvedere vodka. I could've kept ordering these until I fell on the floor but out of sound mind decided not to- lol. Absolutely delicious!!!

Jenny and Rafael were amazing bartenders. Impeccable customer service. Came in for a quick drink for happy hour. Drinks were well made. The prime rib sliders where extremely tender and so soft it's almost like shredded with some caramelized onions and horseradish sauce. Crispy bun to top it off. Truffle popcorn was presented to us upon being seated. Happy hour; drinks are $8 for signature cocktail and $5 off certain items on the menu. It was my first time in and the vibes were spot on. Very upscale and comfortable.

Ocean Prime has debuted three new luxury cocktails & we couldn't wait to try them out. We arrived at Ocean Prime in the Denver Tech Center and we were seated in the Lounge. The Lounge was classy and airy with windows that opened directly onto the patio. Our server Jackson was awesome. He was poised, warm, & gave us all the details we needed to know on the premier cocktails. PR Manager Alex was as sweet as can be and checked in on us while we dined. The three new cocktails included the Crystal Margarita, Smoked Old Fashioned, and Hot & Dirty Martini. The Crystal Margarita was made with Komos Cristalino Tequila, Grand Marnier Cuvée de Louis Alexandre, Italicus, Fresh Lime Juice, Agave, Ginger-Sesame, & Oak Brulée. The margarita was shaken vigorously until chilled and then poured into a cardinal coupe glass. The atomizer was sprayed at the lighter to flame the House Spritz Mix into the cocktail. The margarita was a gorgeous yellow with edible gold glitter in it. The cocktail had aromas of pineapple and bright agave. The taste profile was of candied citrus with a zing of lime. The Smoked Old Fashioned was made with Angel's Envy Rye Whiskey, House Demerara Syrup, Angostura & Orange Bitters, & Charred Cherry Wood Smoke. The old fashioned was served from a decanter and poured into an etched highball glass. In that glass was a pristine 2x2 Ocean Prime ice cube. The cherry wood smoke dreamily combined with the whiskey when poured. The cocktail was smooth with tasting notes of dark caramel, maple syrup and fading smokiness. The Hot & Dirty Martini was made with Olive Oil Infused Belvedere Vodka, & Calabrian Chili Blue Cheese Stuffed Castelvetrano Olives. This was my favorite cocktail of the night! The martini was shaken vigorously with ice, strained into a prism coup and garnished with the stuffed olives on a metal pick. The martini had a wonderful salty & spicy kick to it and was thick on the palate. The Calabrian chili stuffed olives added an additional layer of heat. From Ocean Prime's lounge menu we ordered the Blackened Fish Tacos, Ocean Roll, Smoked Gouda Tater Tots, Chef's Feature Roll, and Prime Cheeseburger Sliders. The Blackened Fish Tacos were made with Sea Bass, Brussels Sprout Slaw, Jalapeńo Tartar Sauce, & Lime. The sea bass was buttery in taste and texture while the slaw, tartar sauce, and lime added acidity and brightness to every bite. The Ocean Roll was made with #1 Tuna, Salmon, Hamachi, Avocado, & Chili Garlic Oil. Yum - the Ocean Roll was fresh and vibrant. The hamachi was luscious in texture. The chili garlic oil added subtle spice that enhanced the richness of the tuna and salmon. The Smoked Gouda Tater Tots were made with Cheddar & Garlic Aioli. I'm not a big tater tot girl but I always go for Ocean Prime's tots - they're that good. The tots were crisp potato pillows of cheesy goodness. The interior was hot & fluffy with potato and creamy cheese. The Chef's Feature Roll was the DTC Roll. A great roll with crunch from the jalapeno, smoothness from the cream cheese, and nice chew from the tempura and rice. The Prime Cheeseburger Sliders were made with OP Sauce, Caramelized Onions, Tillamook Cheddar, Lettuce, & Tomato. For our main we had the Teriyaki Salmon served atop Shiitake Sticky Rice & coated in Soy Butter Sauce. This is one of the best salmon entrees you can find in Denver. The salmon was juicy and flakey. The teriyaki glaze was bold and thick. The glaze combined with the soy butter sauce gave the salmon the perfect combination of sweet and tangy taste. The veggies added nice color and snap to each bite For dessert we had the Warm Butter Cake made with Fresh Berries, Vanilla Ice Cream, and Raspberry Sauce. You guys, I dream about this dessert; just thinking about it makes my mouth-water. It's one of my top 3 favorite desserts in Denver. The Warm Butter Cake was piping hot with vanilla ice cream sensually melting atop. The cake had a lightly crisped sugar exterior with a densely moist interior making for gooey & buttery bites. The bright fresh fruit complimented the rich cake perfectly. A must order!

Delicious birthday dinner! A perfect spot for a special occasion... many comp additions to make the dinner even more memorable... glitter on the table, champagne toast upon seating and a stunning dessert trio! We loved the chilled crab cocktail and oysters. They were served w dry ice! Or all time favorite beverage is at ocean prime...BERRIES & BUBBLES. Fun & delicious drink (with and without booze is available) served w dry ice. The shrimp tempura sushi was insane as well! Can't rave enough about this place. If you want a special special occasion in the burbs go here!

Came here for lunch today before we taught a TikTok class for fidelity title & All my sons moving and storage. We sat outside because it's just stunning outside, service was great, food was delicious! I highly recommend coming here if you enjoy good seafood

Y'all know I love OP-DTC. The bar team is the best. Lisa was in charge this eve, and rocked the crowd. This place can be jammin' busy on a Monday, so be prepared for a full bar area. Happy Hour food and drink are a value. My food options depend on my mood. My routine choices are; Deviled Eggs, Shrimp Cocktail, or one of the sushi rolls. Major peeve. Patrons who take up a revenue generating seat for their hoity purse or shopping bags (some dude took up a seat w a briefcase... and it wasn't Jules from Pulp Fiction!). The bartending team and manager may want to discourage this as I will walk if no empty seat ($100-140 lost).

They raised HH prices! Still good, but not such a great deal anymore. Cost over $100 for just the two of us! I definitely recommend the oysters! They are carefully shucked and very fresh! The Gouda tots and the calamari are also great appetizers. I would prob skip the sushi next time as you can get better sushi elsewhere. We used to frequent this place for their happy hour, but it with the price hike, I don't know if it's worth it.

The best dining experience of 2023!!!! These guys know what customer service means, and they take it to the next level. Extremely friendly staff, from check in to end of night drinks at the bar, it was fantastic! Food was excellent, drinks hit the spot, and the service makes want to go ASAP. Decor-I love the upscale feel, the wine bottle wall as you walk in and the dining area is also very nice. Service-AMAZING!! Our waiter Greg was outstanding. He knew the menu and made great recommendations. JENNY at the bar took service to another level. That girl is special and exemplifies what customer service is all about. Food-consistent! All locations make a great steaks and sides. Loved this place and can't wait to see the awesome staff here. Well done folks!!!

I was able to visit this restaurant during a work trip and our visit here was nothing short of exceptional. Coming from San Diego, CA, and being surrounded by arguably some of the best restaurants in the nation, the culinary journey I embarked on at this restaurant left an indelible mark. First, the lobster bisque soup; was a delight. It was rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. Very very rich. The Chilean sea bass!!!! The taste was out of this world and quite literally melted in my mouth. It's an absolute must try for anyone visiting. I know the steak is very tempting but I guarantee you won't have regrets. You can never go wrong ordering lobster at Ocean Prime. It was perfectly prepared, fresh, succulent, and a true seafood lovers dream come true. Now let me talk about the Old Fashioned. It came smoked, and the experience was smooth as the whiskey itself. It's hands down the smoothest whiskey I've ever had. Ocean Prime is a culinary gem in Denver, offering an unforgettable dining experience. The service was beyond exceptional and the ambiance was elegant and relaxing. I'll definitely be returning next time I'm in town.

This is a beautiful restaurant - tablecloths and tasteful, comfortable décor. The food? Was blah. The presentation was meh, the flavor was bland . . . for a $200 meal this did not measure up at all and we didn't have dessert. The servers are fantastic. I couldn't say enough about them, except for the woman who continually brought us limes for our sparkling water instead of lemons and the gentlemen who wanted to consistently pour still water into our sparkling water. Happens all the time actually - and I have yet to figure out how to remedy it. It's funny. Maybe the steaks are good here but its called, 'Ocean'. I had the grouper. The filet was reasonably sized, the vegetables and gnocchi were okay. But there just wasn't any flavor. It was disappointing. We ordered calamari. Again, a reasonable serving for two people. Too much sauce on it however. If you order it ask for the sauce on the side. I'm not sure we'd go back. Maybe for cocktails and appetizers. Their wine and alcoholic beverage menu is very nice.

We had an amazing experience at Ocean Prime in DTC. Parking was a breeze, and of course, there was valet parking. We showed up early to our reservations and were seated almost immediately. Ambiance was great, staff was definitely on their A game and attentive throughout the night. For apps, we decided to share the surf n turf that came recommended. Scallops were cooked to perfection, braised short rib was excellent. The gremolata was a nice added touch. For entrees, we went with the ribeye and colorado lamb. Both cooked to perfect temps that we wanted and had a delicious crust. We also had a few sides to accompany our delicious red meats. Black Truffle Mac and Cheese was cheesy and delicious! Jalapeño Au Gratin had just a very subtle jalapeño that was not at all over powering. Last side we tried was the Gouda tater tots, it was nothing to really rave about. Dessert exceeded expectations. We had their highly recommended warm butter cake. Absolutely amazing with a golden crust that complements the gooey buttery inside. You also get a nice aroma of vanilla from it. Second dessert for the night was a crème brûlée, delicious with a caramelized sugar top. Overall, I highly recommend coming here to celebrate a special occasion and just to enjoy good food!

Wonderful place! We had a lovely anniversary evening here! A prestigious restaurant like this is just another regular restaurant if it doesn't have the best servers. Ben was a phenomenal, friendly person. He allows Ocean Prime to elevate as much as it does. The food was excellent and delicious! The ambiance is comforting! We enjoyed the day here!

This restaurant is so beautiful and romantic. The food is superb and the service is impeccable. Our waiter, Landon, even caught us in the parking lot to give us our leftovers we had forgotten to take with us. Every date night spent here has been nothing short of wonderful!

The food was top notch as always, with any Ocean Prime... But this specific location's service was absolutely above and beyond. Gabrielle was our server and she came back so many times to make sure everything was up to par. Not only did they give us any free dessert for my birthday, they decorated the table and brought out a second round of custom desserts on the house. What?? We've been to so many nice restaurants but have never been treated this special. Not to mention the ambiance and lighting was spectacular. Thank you Ocean Prime.

I came here one evening for a business dinner and everything was good until it came to my steak. I ordered medium well and every chef who has ever cooked a steak before both home and professional knows or at the very least should know that medium well means to cook the steak until there is just a little pink in the middle. Well, send this chef back to culinary school because this steak was so rare that it might as well be mooing on the plate. Other people on my table also had to send their steaks back for not being cooked properly. Nothing ruins a meal like underdone meat.

The ambience was elegant and inviting. The food was absolutely divine, the prime sushi roll was incredible, along with the lobster linguine and the scallop and creamy risotto. I would definitely visit this location again. Although the maître d' we had was lovely, we going him to be overly chatty. I'm certain he meant well, but I found it overwhelming at a point.

This place struggled to maintain the fancy it puts on, that's for sure. We decided to try something more high class, and chose some good surf n' turf style food. The seating was decent at first, but wind picked up and started blowing all sorts of crap onto our table and drinks, and we witnessed surrpunding tables approached about moving inside, but they never alerted us to move tables. We had to go on the initiative to move where there were less leaves blowing into our food. And that is where we started noticing more on our service. For one, we were not presented bread even after we asked if the bread came with any form of meal. Had to get two people on one order just to get it to the table. Even our main courses we did order took much long to come out than surrounding larger parties. It was all around a struggle just to get food to us! At least the food redeems some of the experience. The filet minon melts like delicious meat butter and the mushrooms are a delight. The drinks to top is off was decently top tier. Just an absolute shame to be treated like that.

I've been to ocean prime downtown but this is the first time at the DTC location for happy hour. I highly recommend it! The drinks are a presentation themselves as the waitress brings you empty glasses as she's pours to create a magical concoction for the bubble & berries. Dry ice makes this little beauty bounce around so much fun to watch. The calamari was nice and not too chewy with just the right amount of spice and sweetness. The short rib sliders are just that, chunks of beef in a soft brioche bun - yummy! Get there early as the bar fills up fast on a Friday night. Fun start to our weekend of birthday celebrations.

Some of the freshest seafood you can get in Colorado. Great menu options and service. Warm quiet ambiance. Bring your wallet, it will be worth it.

So I stopped in for lunch this week, and I got the lunch special fillet with lobster bisque. I love how they actually put real chunks of lobster meat in the bisque. It adds a nice touch. Also, the fillet was cooked perfectly. The potatoes were good, but not great. Service was amazing, so I'm giving five stars.

Celebrated Valentine's Day early as he was going to be out of town. Made a reservation through the link on Yelp and was set. Parking available in shared lot but not up front. Didn't realize valet was complimentary. Checked in when we arrived at the hostess stand. There are seats by the front where you can wait. Soon we were being escorted back to our seats. We got a booth which I prefer. A server came by to start drinks for us and brought out a bread basket as well. The bread basket had crusty bread and a pretzel bread. He liked the pretzel bread but I preferred the crusty baguette bread. The texture just draws me in. The jumbo shrimp cocktail is fantastic! It was my favorite dish of the night. The presentation in dry ice is exciting and it was fun for him to blow the smoke towards me :) The cocktail sauce is at the bottom of the cup the shrimp comes in. I could have eaten two servings myself. The price is a little steep for only four shrimp but they are large. My Chilean Sea Bass was meh. Should have gone with ahi tuna. The fish is a meaty fish which is fine but it wasn't seasoned as much as I prefer. Overall it was bland. The potato purée was great. Otherwise the rest was bland. The truffle vinaigrette was oily but didn't add much to the taste. His Saddleberk Ranch Pork was dry. He didn't enjoy it. He noticed that my face didn't radiate the joyous look it usually does when we go to a Cajun seafood place I love. For the price of the meal he felt I should look that happy. And the realization hit me that while I enjoy dressing up, this restaurant's food didn't bring me joy. Nothing against the server Nicole who was great. Friendly and personable. And the other servers who came by were fine. But maybe next time we will celebrate where I love the food. The decor is lovely and the little seating areas in the restaurant fun to discover. Really popular place so I hope you enjoy it if you visit.

My husband and I have eaten at Ocean Prime many times. We have been happy with our meals and have had great service. Last week, when we ate there I was especially pleased. I want to give a special thanks to the server and Chef for making my evening so special. I have a lot of food intolerances and because of these two people my meal was both beautifully presented and delicious. I had sea bass with puréed potatoes and broccolini made to adhere to my dietary restrictions.

The food is always good. Anything you get is amazing. I absolutely love the service. They're always very attentive and hard working. The ambiance is always wonderful.

I would leave a review on the food, but we weren't able to even get to that. I made a reservation for 7pm got there at 7pm and was told I have to wait for 20 minutes. They offered a table at the bar which we took and ensured we would get the same service. No bar tables were set so we had to wait on that. The sever came over and we said give us more time. No one came over for 10 minutes until a different server came over and gave us drinks which we had not ordered and asked "Are you sure". We waited another 5 minutes yet still our server did not come over. We simply left.

Food was good but extremely slow. Service was mediocre at best. Food took two hours to get to us. Table was not cleared promptly after appetizers or after the meal. Bus person started to clear the table before we were even served dinner. For the price it's way over rated. For $500 for four people the service quality should be reflective of the menu and menu pricing. No birthday candle or birthday singing even though birthday was communicated on reservation. Disappointing. Will not go back.

This is one of my absolute favorite places to come. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Rafael and he made me a wonderful Negroni. Thinking that was as good as it could get, Jackson made it even better and gave me the cocktail called "Take 2" that he and His friend Zack created (as seen in picture). I am excited for you to try it. He uses a strawberry infused of Gin and it's maybe top 10 best cocktails I have ever ver had. Being in the service industry it's hard to impress me, and I was Blow away. The amount of professionalism and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I look forward to the next time I get to dine here. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and the food is even better. Good for Lunch and dinner!

There are a lot of options for steak in Denver, but Ocean Prime is probably our favorite upscale steakhouse. The service is fantastic. The food is amazing and we always enjoy our time here with friends. The ambiance is romantic with low lighting and classic decor. The wait staff are top notch. We regularly visit with friends and family. You can't go wrong going here.

Early Saturday evening dinner reservation. Four of us celebrating Dads 85th Heavenly Birthday. One of the best dining rooms in the area to enjoy a great meal. David P our server was top notch and the definition of above and beyond! Thanks for the bubbles - you made our special dinner that much better. Cheers!

This place is usually a little too upscale for my taste but I came here for restaurant week and combined it with happy hour and found it to be surprisingly reasonable for the quality of food. We came here on a Wednesday evening last minute. No reservations but we managed to get seated at the bar around 4:30. It started to get packed quickly though. Not sure if that is normal for this place or just because it was a nice evening during restaurant week. We opted for happy hour wine and goat cheese ravioli and tater tots as an appetizer. Both were phenomenal. For the restaurant week pre-plated menu ($45 base price), I did a house salad, 6 oz filet and carrot cake. The salad was really good, as was the filet. I was a little disappointed that there was no chocolate based options for dessert but everything was so delicious. After dinner, I switched to a cocktail. I wish I could remember the name! It had a beautiful flower in it and had a lychee-like flavor. Delicious. Our total with tax and tip for the appetizers, 4 glasses of wine, 2 cocktails and two three course restaurant week meals was about $180. I feel like the price was fair for the quality of food. I don't think I could justify their normal prices but I will be on the lookout for more promotions.

My husband and I visited Ocean Prime for Valentine's Day and really enjoyed our time. This is an upscale restaurant and the service and food are top-notch. So expect paying pricey cocktails, starters and everything else in general. So don't complain later is was too expensive. Of course price "MUST" match the service, food quality and even walking in their premises should give you the feeling of satisfaction. No disappointment on our part. I will comment on the things that are important to me for a restaurant to have a high rating. - Made the reservation online at 4:45 pm for 2/14 - no issues ( there wasn't, ops sorry you are not on the list) -There was no Special Valentine Menu ( I don't really care, but some restaurants do have it) - They have a great meal selection of both steak and seafood, and the wine selection is huge. - The cocktails are to die for. We tried 4 in total and they were all delicious. ( Berries & Bubbles (have your video ready), 2 Cucumber Gimlet, Tequila Cocktail (yummy) - Jumbo Lump Crab Cake appetizer is a must and the Spicy Tuna Roll. - Caesar Salad and the Ocean Prime House Salad were delicious - Sea Scallops were cook at perfection and delicious. My husband had Chilean Sea Bass also super good. - Desserts were so good!!! Crème Brûlée but the Mile High Carrot Cake is a must try!!! For me the following are important when rating a restaurant. 1) Cleanliness overall including the bathrooms 2) Service and staff behavior 3) Food and beverage quality 4) Prices (I do not put a lot of emphasis on price if all other aspects meet my expectations I'm willing to pay) 5) Awesomeness Atmosphere (this is obviously in the eye of the beholder) 6) Seating area was also great as we were not seated close to other tables. 7) Valet Parking available One Note: We like to enjoy our time and food so eating fast is not an option for the sake of others to seat. Our entrées were serve one after an other even when I requested that I wanted time in between servings. The waitress (Mary) she provided great service, however at the end of our main dish, she came by with the receipt and did not asked if we wanted dessert... we could tell she wanted the table for other people and needed us to leave. We of course ordered some dessert. I hope this makes my reviews more helpful and meaningful to all users .

Celebrated my husbands birthday with our family. I was able to book a reservation through Open Table. I needed to modify the reservation and called the restaurant to do so. Service was great. The ambiance was great. Really enjoyed the play list. The food was amazing. No complaints from this crowd.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary and decided to try out Ocean Prime, as we had heard great things from friends who had eaten there. To say we were impressed with the experience would be an understatement. Knowing we were celebrating our anniversary, Perla (Dining Room Manager) greeted us at the front entrance and showed us to a corner table with some special touches she added, which meant a lot to us. Our server, Brayson, was very knowledgeable about the menu and even allowed us to make a small side substitution out of courtesy. The drinks we ordered were fantastic and the appetizers Brayson recommended were also top notch. My wife and I were also very appreciative of Colin (table waitstaff) and Iris (bread/drink waitstaff). Colin took a few really great photos for my wife and I to remember the evening and Iris was friendly and checked in on us regularly without being overly aggressive - the perfect touch. Our anniversary celebration was extra special this year and a big part of that was due to the wonderful experience we had at Ocean Prime. We didn't get to meet the GM, John, but hopefully next time we will so we can let him know how much we appreciated his staff. We will definitely be back. -Bryan & Brianna

We had a wonderful experience here. Dan took care of us during our meal. He was great! He was very attentive and he was knowledgeable about the menu. This is a great place for a romantic dinner. We were there to celebrate my birthday and it was perfect for that as well. Sad update, my husband ended up getting sick late that night. He believes it was from his meal. He had the lamb and mashed potatoes. How unfortunate to pay so much for a meal and not be able to trust the quality of it. I have to take away at least one star for that

This has to be one of the best Happy Hours in town and the BEST Old Fashioned! I love that they use the large block ice - so clear you can't even tell there is ice in the glass. Only $8 - such an awesome deal. Oysters were small, but so flavorful! All their bar food and drinks are half off from 3-6pm. The service is always impeccable with the wait staff and ambience is always spot on. I always like to check out the restroom because it's pretty telling about what goes on in the restaurant - it was immaculate! I also got the short rib sliders and Gouda tater tots. The buns were a little dry, but the meat was super tender. How can anyone go wrong with Gouda taters?! Love Ocean Prime!

Delicious and classy! My family and I love Ocean Prime. We usually order from/go to the DTC location. Tonight we had all different entrees including steaks, lobsters, and more. Unfortunately I forgot to get entree photos, but I got pictures of a few of the appetizers. We had deviled eggs, crab cakes, oysters, lobster bisque, and bread. Everything was amazing! I love moscato and Ocean Prime has the best I've tried. The rest of our party enjoyed their drinks as well. I wish I had remembered our waitresses name - she was super sweet and attentive tonight! We had a few kids in our party and she was great with them. 10/10 recommend Ocean Prime. This place never fails us!

Great date night spot... hard to find elegance in South Denver. Good food. Will return for sure.

I thought the food was really good but I was disappointed in the pricing of the special when I came in. The waiter was pushy with the special, telling us it was a good deal and really sold us on what we were getting with it. It was tasty but the pricing didn't make sense... it would have been cheaper to just order all the parts to the special (steak and scallops and sauce) then it would have been to get the special.

Such a wonderful accidental find. We initially went to Pappadeaux's for Father's Day dinner. The wait was 45 minutes so we opted to find something a little less busy. We were in the mood for seafood and asked Siri to find us a local seafood restaurant. Ocean Prime was the first suggestion and less then a mile away. It turned out to be the best thing that could have happened. We were all impressed with Ocean Prime the second we walked in the front door. It's very clean and elegant and the hostess was beautiful and especially pleasant. We chose to sit outside as the weather beautiful. Our waitress, Jaylene and she clearly enjoys her job. She was bubbly, fun, outgoing and knew the menu inside and out. She was an absolute joy to have as our waitress. We never waited for nor had to ask for refills or even more bread. She was absolutely on top of everything. Our meals were absolutely amazing. My dad had the salmon with a lobster bisque to start. I had crab cakes and jalapeño mashed potatoes. Both were incredible. My girlfriend and soon to be wife had a bacon wrapped sushi that said was as good as anything she has ever had. For dessert we ordered chocolate cake that was incredible and a carrot cake layered in pineapple that was to die for. Wow, was it unique and fabulous. Our entire experience at this restaurant was top shelf from the second we showed up until the second we left. Clean, beautiful pleasant and friendly. The staff is extremely diverse and I find that encouraging and fantastic. A special thank you to our waitress Jaylene for providing us with exceptional service and a man named Desmond that came out with our special orders and could not have been more polite and professional. What a great young man with a charming personality. Not only do I recommend this restaurant, I've already made plans to go back with some other friends. This just might be my new "business and entertainment" spot.

We visited on a weeknight and it was absolutely packed. I would not suggest showing up without a reservation. Good food and beverages, good atmosphere. It's very loud and a bit slow but if you're not in a hurry it's definitely worth a visit.
