"Take a seat out on the wraparound terrace of this steakhouse smack dab in the center of the Las Vegas Strip. Offering views of Las Vegas Boulevard at Harmon Avenue, you’ll be treated to a bird’s-eye view while indulging in steak, sushi, and a seafood tower dripping with dry ice fog. Misters and fans keep evenings on the outdoor patio comfortable. But dining indoors still benefits from views out the window." - Janna Karel
"There’s no need to choose between steak and seafood at this bustling steakhouse on the Strip. Overlooking Las Vegas Boulevard, Ocean Prime offers fresh seafood in multiple preparations, including, piled high in impressive seafood towers, deftly grilled in plates of salmon and sea bass, and prepared raw in sushi rolls. While the mains are impressive on their own, the lobster bisque is a sleeper standout, with a rich and buttery broth poured tableside over generous bites of lobster." - Janna Karel
"The only-in-Vegas vibe of Ocean Prime takes hold before food even hits the table. Located smack dab in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip, the restaurant is furnished with breathtaking design, like a centerpiece bar flanked in warm lighting and a ceiling brushed with soft tassels that loom over tan flooring and white tablecloths. The terrace on the fourth story is temperate most of the year via ample misters and heaters — a necessity given that it looks out over Las Vegas Boulevard. While taking in views, order a shellfish tower that dramatically flourishes dry ice fog while being ferried to the table. The steakhouse produces excellent steaks broiled at 1,200 degrees — made all the more exciting given its eight options for accompaniments. And the seafood is not to be overlooked — sushi rolls packed with fresh and supple hamachi and tuna. For a more intimate vibe, take to the lounge for chips and caviar dip and gin and tonic cocktails infused with orange blossom and rhubarb. —Janna Karel, editor, Eater Southern California/Southwest Know before you go: Ocean Prime is located in the standalone 63 building, which has no parking. "Right in the center of the Strip, gaze out at Las Vegas Boulevard from the rooftop, made comfortable with ample heaters and misters depending on the time of year. The shellfish platter is especially fun, filled with dry ice that trails a show-stopping fog en route to the table. While cuts of Australian Wagyu are especially good at this steakhouse, the sushi is not to be overlooked. Note that Ocean Prime is located in the standalone 63 CityCenter building that does not have its own parking. Paid valet is available off of Harmon Avenue but allow extra time to walk if you prefer to self-park at the neighboring Aria or Cosmopolitan. More parking info is available here." - Janna Karel
"Seafood is best served high in the sky at Ocean Prime. Perched atop the 63 CityCenter building, this elegant pastel-hued restaurant is awash with Strip views and delicate fish dishes along with steaks, craft cocktails, and indulgent desserts. Traditional caviar and vodka offerings constitute a lineup of Petrossian selections paired with Belvedere and Grey Goose. Meanwhile, Ocean Prime’s white truffle deviled eggs, each one garnished with a spot of caviar and topped with gold leaf, are also a staple to any appetizer lineup." - Jennifer Smith
