Ocean View House Cape Town

Our stay at Ocean View House in Camps Bay was absolutely incredible! The views were out of this world – from our balcony, we could see the Atlantic Ocean stretching out in front of us, with the iconic Table Mountain and Lion’s Head rising behind. One of the highlights was spotting whales from our balcony – a truly magical experience! The gardens surrounding the property were beautifully kept, adding to the peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a warm smile. Breakfast was brilliant – fresh, delicious, and served in a gorgeous setting. Camps Bay itself is a stunning area, close to the beach, great restaurants, and all of Cape Town’s main attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay – highly recommended!

Our stay at Ocean View House was perfect in every way. Our room was so comfortable and beautiful. The balcony overlooking the ocean was such a nice bonus! The breakfasts were delicious... our family looked forward to the amazing fruits, juices, pastries, pancakes, and other goodies every morning. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We hope to be back!

This boutique hotel far exceeded my great expectations. Not only were the facilities immaculate and clearly meticulously maintained, it checked boxes in just about every category. The decor and artwork was beautiful, the layout well-designed for privacy with wonderful outdoor and indoor facilities - bar, ocean view patios, many room decks. The breakfast was spectacular! I travel to the city often, and have stayed at many accommodations throughout the city, and would rate this as one of the best value hotels at its price point. It's already on my return itinerary!

This hotel was amazing. We had a huge room with a balcony & lounge chairs to relax & watch the sunset. We had a huge bedroom & bathroom along with a large living room with a fire place that we used every night. The staff was exceptional. Breakfast was included. They had a large fruit & cereal buffet along with your custom order of eggs & bacon, etc for breakfast. They also accommodated me & my Gluten Free requirements. They had a couple bars, one of which was an Honest Bar. Take what you wanted & write it on a log sheet, then they would charge your room. We also arranged a couples massage. They have facility on site, but the also come to your room, which they did for us, since the spa was busy got our massage. The hotel & rooms were spotless & beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this hotel & will definitely stay here when we go back to CapeTown.

Our family of 4 stayed at Ocean View House in April and absolutely loved it. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the breakfast was very good with a large buffet of cheese & meats/ fruits/ yoghurts/ juices etc and an a la carte offering. The location was good at the end of Camps Bay where it was easy to get ubers or drive to the centre of Camps Bay or Cape Town. It was also very secure. We stayed in the Milkwood which was very spacious, fantastic views and extremely comfortable beds. One small improvement would be one of the two pools to be heated

I absolutely loved the place! The views were just amazing. I also found it very peaceful!! Breakfast top notch and very friendly staff! I will definitely be coming back.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff members were so welcoming and helpful. I totally enjoyed being at this hotel. In addition to that, the breakfast was fantastic.I'd like to compliment the owner for doing such a beautiful job at this hotel where you can see the ocean and the stars from your room.

Beautiful clean rooms, beautiful grounds, gourmet continental breakfasts, great views of the ocean, and great staff! One of the top places I have ever stayed. If I didn’t live so far away, I would to go back every year. Simply awesome experience!
